I arrived and they told me they were overbooked and there was nothing they can do, I didn't receive any call or email saying anything, I had an urgent trip and had to cancel important meetings to look for another place that ended up being way more expensive, far from where I needed to stay and a complete loss of time. Employees were completely unhelpful and just kept saying "there is nothing we can do"
Front desk very friendly and welcoming!!!!
While checking in I noticed a very strong smell in smell in the lobby as if they were trying to cover up something. I’ve we got to our room we were greeted with the same smell which was so strong it was hard to breathe. The floors in the room were so sticky that if felt like you were walking with tape stuck to the bottom of your shoes. After maybe 10 minutes my wife and I left this hotel and spent the money to stay at one down the road. Would not recommend this property to anyone. Stay far away.
Right off the highway so you can hit the road and go if you need staff was friendly, the room was comfortable and roomy.
Quiet & clean
Quiet, clean
The noisy
Arrived 9pm, 2 people, to find our room had 1 single towel, no soap, phone didn't work. Walked to front desk and1 clean towel was handed to me and told would bring more in morning but none arrived by 9:30am. Noisy from traffic all night.
It was just weird and strange
Friendly staff, Affordable nightly rates, easy access to I-35, free parking. Cons- towel shortage and the entire floor was sticky... I reserved a standard queen bed room for 2 adults for 2 full nights. There was only 1 bath towel and 1 towel mat in the bathroom, no face rag or hand towels were available. Front desk did not have extra towels available and we were told that there were some being washed in laundry. Went back to front desk couple hours later and was told that I would only be given additional towels and linen in exchange for used/soiled ones in the room. Needless to say my partner and I had to share the 1 towel we were provided in the room.
The air conditioner fried t work and there was not a maintenance person to fix it.
Cold Night
The heater in the room was not working and it was a very cold night. The room had an over powering smell of Pine Sol and Clorox. The bed covers were stained.
Miss Ded who works in the morning is an absolute sweetheart and she really made this stay just above and beyond amazing
Ok
Good Value
The price was right. There was all we needed for one night. For a longer stay you may need to provide your own utensils. There were none in the kitchenette.
Chill staff. Everyone keeps to there own business
The stay as being great. Unitl this family move in and the child was running inside the room this was causing issues for me. So the front desk was told multiple times. They ask them to move rooms and if they didn't they could get out. How that wat u call customer service 🙂.
Woodspring Hotel
It was an ok stay, but it was ok for the price, but they can do better to the stay arrangement here at this hotel. No security ppl doing whatever after hours at the hotel.
It definitely got the job done for a few days in Austin. Accessible, right off 35.
It was a fine no frills stay.
Not bad for the price.
The hotel location was good, it was a very basic room and bed. There was nobody at the front desk and had to wait for somebody after calling to check in from the lobby because it was after office hours but not bad in general.
Exelente hotel
Nice and accommodating staff. They left me alone. No maids banging on the door early in the morning which is refreshing. I am in town for medical therapy, which makes me exhausted. I sleepnfor several hours during the day, and no one bothers me. I love it! The small kitchen is perfect for my needs. The fridge is helpful to store my food for a special diet. They have a nice laundry for guests, and I felt comfortable and safe my entire stay. Convenient location. I’ll be back.
Do not checking
I’m checking in at the hotel after 11 pm, nobody is at the lobby and no one respond on the after hour line
The staff was great, very accommodating. The staff are very friendly. The location was convenient for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable.
Muy buen hotel
Nice staff
Everything is overpriced, but that is what happens when you have corporate gouging at every level. As the most affordable hotel in the Chandler area, they had everything I needed.
Hotel fizz
I’ve stayed at this property before, but this time they change a lot. They don’t offer kitchen stuff or utensils anymore. I didn’t like how it wasn’t any small towels to use, they only give dry towels and medium towels. I’m glad I brought backup. The housekeeping tried to come in my room twice while I was staying there, I never ask for housekeeping service. It’s not a bad property, I just wish they gave more than what they charge to stay at their hotel.
Just a wonderful place to rest your head.
The price was acceptable to my budget.
Did not have our room cleaned, beds made, trash taken out during our entire stay
Ok stay
Thought I give this property a try because it had a kitchen. It didn’t come with any forks, spoons or anything to cook or bowls. The room felt alil stuffy so I had to open the window when showering. And you can hear the everything outside with the window fully closed. The stay wasn’t all bad I would give it a 6
The entire hotel smelled horrible, a mix of wetness, smoke and piss. I wouldn't stay here again and wouldnt recommend it.
Convenient location on the 35, but hard to get to at peak traffic times. Only one entrance is available.
The front desk lady Deb was really nice and easy to work with.
Poor
Elevator smelled of dog urine and feces. As did the hallways. Room wasn’t serviced by housekeeping during stay. Broken sink head and bath tub head. At $400+ per night I’d expect clean hallways, a clean elevator and a sink head and tub head that aren’t broken.
There was a very strong cat urine smell in the elevator. Shower tub was dirty
Check in was no problem. Room was . . . Ehhh. No wash clothes or hand towels in bathroom. Floor mat for shower turned out to be a hand towel. Walls are paper thin. On the plus side hot water was good, not sure about soaps and shampoos - I bring my own. Overall I would not stay here again unless absolutely no other choice.
Awesome
Foul smell
Their was a foul smell the entire time outside in the halls, and roaches. I will not stay again.
N/A
Terrible
No staff after 11 pm. Noisy the room above and the highway. Elevators dirty and hallways need more illumination. Unsafe the building and surrounding.
The room had a chemical smell and everything just felt dirty. We consider just leaving, and taking a long drive back after a long day and cut our loss with our money.
Ac makes a lot of noise and it seems like there were horses running around upstairs. Room looks good online and in pics but not in person. 10/10 would not stay here again.
Check in was decent but that's where it ends. The smell in the entire hotel is stomach churning. Exterior doors were propped open all night. My room was obviously a smoking room even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. Our floor smelled like a very used catbox. There is no entrance...you have to use the driveway next door and cut through the parking lot. It is not marked and it's on a one way street so most guests have to do several laps to figure out where to pull in. I do NOT recommend this facility.
While the front office is clean there is a terrible musty odor. Upon entering the room a different order but still not good. Flooring coming up in the bathroom. Beds were very stiff and I found them to be uncomfortable.
Down the hallway smelled elevator smelled. People blasting their music outside hookers outside. Pretty bad place. That's what you get for under a hundred dollars in austin
I am so frustrated about my stay. I have been staying in this hotel for 4 -months now. Yet they refuse to keep my keycard activited. Im having to wait until they are open to get my keycard activated. They have no afterhours number to call and the emergency call phone isnt working properly
No accessible rooms available. We reserved 2 queen beds, accessible room and none were available. Thank you for not charging us. Front desk clerk was very helpful, thanks. The info online was very misleading.
The staff was kind, but the overall cleanliness wasn’t good. It stinks like dog and mildew inside the building and smells really bad on the outside like urine and trash.
The room itself was decent but you can tell this is an older property. The room smelled clean but the hallways reeked of a permanent odor (possibly pot). The staff were very friendly and attentive to details. I brought my dog and they had a small area in the back for pets but the rest of the property is asphalt. I was next to a room that loudly opened and closed their door constantly, so sound was a mild problem. It was inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.
It was a nice stay ! Would stay here again !
The first time I had stayed here about a year ago. They asked me to check the room conditions and if it was ok, I could stay there. AC was not working. Didn’t let me change rooms...I had to wait about an hour for the maintenance man to show up. The manager at the front door always looked unhappy to be there and would never greet people walking in. This second time around that I booked, I decided to give it a try again since the location was convenient for me. There’s plenty more hotels in the area, I now know better. I booked ahead for a weekend and when I showed up to check in, 3 employees were working the front desk and no one greeted me yet again. This time the room they tried to give me was dirty! The bed was not made either. Clearly housekeeping hadn’t been there. I returned back the key and let them know they might want to send housekeeping there. They didn’t apologize or act surprised, the lady that helped me got on the computer and started looking for another room. While she did this, the manager “Bridget”, finally acknowledged me only to ask if I had an “animal” with me. I replied yes. She said it’s a $200 pet deposit. I asked if it was a new thing because nowhere on the website does it say anything about it nor had I been charged that the previous time I stayed there. I thought it was weird she only told me this after I asked for a different room. They have terrible customer service, a rude manager with an attitude setting the example, on top of bad housekeeping.
Very quiet
All was well but the elevator stopped working my last day there
Average room, fine for the price. Extremely loud by the freeway, and the room only had blinds with no curtains so there’s nothing to dampen the sound. The AC unit was also in a weird spot so the air barely reached my bed.
Brandon says hey!
The staff here is great! They will treat you like family and make you feel right at home! It has been a long time since a hotel has made me feel right at home and these guys should be proud of the hotel that they help operate!
Room was spacious and clean.
Hotel
The hotel was nice and everything was ok, the only issue I had was a weird noise coming and go all throughout the day. It made it hard for me to sleep and people just chilling outside and in the lobby earlier hours of the morning(3-5am).
The lobby has a gagging smell of freshener. Shower was clean but the rat looked a bit spartan: chipped paint, water damage by the window, broken piece of blind left a view from outside into the room. Room 122 has a kitchen and full fridge, but no utensils to cook anything, not even coffee. The bathroom door gets stuck and doesn't close all the way. All expected given the $65 rate.
Clean. Safe. Good staff. They didn’t have kitchen utensils tho there’s a kitchenette.
Manager was rude and drunk and elderly lady at front desk was rude as well
yes
Neglected property
There is no driveway accessing the hotel--you need to use the parking lot next to it to get in, which is a minor-ish issue, but a pain. The hotel was understaffed. There was no one there to check me in, and two guests coming out told me that was typical. The young man who eventually came down seemed perfectly nice and competent, but he told me there was an elevator malfunction, and it took him time to get from the rooms to the desk. The problems on site were not his.
Love it here
Hotel service was good, it was very close to all the things to do in Austin which was nice.
Front desk women was rude
No complaints, I love it here and the rooms smell soooo good!!
The area around the hotel was not a nice neighborhood. Construction is going on two establishments before the hotel.
I love this place. Everyone is friendly. The location is great, near plenty of stores and places to eat. They Limit access in the hotel at 11 pm so random people can't just walk in or around the premises. The thing I didn't like was the fact that workers kept trying to enter my room without prior notice hours before check out time. The first time they didn't knock at all then the second time they knocked but didn't allow me time to respond before coming in.
Great place
Great place to stay. Great location, very professional staff. I love the fact that they lock up the premises by 11 pm so random people can't just walk up and enter the property. Also I love that they have a decent washing room which takes coins or payment via an app.
I had to go buy bed sheets the bed was wet sheets dirty smells. People were on the hallways sitting down.
Very clean rooms and property. Staff was super nice. Room has a refrigerator, cooktop, and microwave but NO pots, pans, or utensils. No coffee maker in the room. No ironing board. No hairdryer. VERY basic room with a bed.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hallway smelled bad. The room we stayed in was ok for one night but needs an upgrade. The beds were uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend for an extended stay.
- room, elevator and rooms smell terrible - felt unsafe in the neighbourhood
I loved it
Great place with nice atmosphere. Would stay again!
Family emergency trip
The room was spacious. it was an efficiency type apartment and it was handicap accessible with walk in shower. The only compliant with the room was the floor appeared to dirty because it was sticky. The major problem i had was no one would answer the phone that is listed on the website. I tried for 6 hours to call about arriving late.Upon arrival there was a different number on the door to call for late arrivals and it was 30 minutes before they arrived to check me in.
Good affordable hotel.
This was a reasonably priced no frills hotel. It was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The faucet in the bathroom was broken but there was one in the kitchenette so no big problem. The staff was very apologetic when we told them about it the next morning and said they would get it fixed right away.
Front desk staff very nice and house cleaning ladies very nice too
Terrible the elevators were not e
It was smelly each place had a different smell, the hallways, elevator, and the room had different nasty smells. One girl at the front desk was rude, no help at all seemed annoyed with any question I asked. I would not stay here again!
Dirty and cheap = WoodSpring Suites
Do not ever pay more than $80 for one of these rooms and please expect to get what you pay for. Rooms look clean, but upon staying for a while you’ll notice they are not. Trash throughout the parking lot, no one at the front desk, fire alarm went off a few times, man walking around with a pitbull off leash, and one crazy homeless dude who got the cops called on him. It was a wild stay but barely worth the low cost. Won’t be staying here again unless desperate.
Everything was great
Nice,Quite, and Respectful
The staff is friendly and helpful, check-in was hassle free and quick. I even got to go check the room before I checked in to make sure it was up to my standard. The room itself was comfortable and clean, had a kitchenette. The hounds where clean and didn't have people hanging out in the parking lot all hours of the night. Over all the stay was really nice, quite, and respectful.
Nice clean and quiet! Staff nice and accessible
The staff is friendly and very welcoming the room is also clean and not alot of loud noises
Love it here the ladies at the front desk are amazing
I’m a travel agent and blogger. My daughter and I stayed at this hotel overnight as she was headed back to base. Upon check in we were told that there will be no after hour support. Our initial room had a defective Tv so we were moved to another one which had roaches. It was a horrible stay and I will loot recommend this place to any of my clients
The police was there arresting drunk people and you can smell weed that people was smoking around the property and the rooms did not look like the website didn’t have a table and chairs to eat on and just had one chair to sit on one side table on one side of the bed didn’t like how the bathroom and shower other than that is was almost a good place to spend one night in the other thing was the people was very noisy in and the rooms shut if the door hard and children was running around in the room you can hear the noise and could not got to sleep you can hear them playing at 2to 3am in the morning so you up until they go to bed so you can sleep so if you go there to get a room to rest before you go to your next destination you should be able to relax until you check out time
Even though my family and I stayed in a non-smoking room, the entire third floor smelled of smoke. There was hair on the floor of the room that was not ours.
The clerk was awsome at the front desk when i checked in. The font office closed at 11pm and the clerk said no one would be at the font desk and if i needed something to call 500 on the telephone in the lobby and someone would answer me for help. No one never answered all nite. Our phone didnt work in our room and the Tv. Wouldn't recommend this place to stay again.
No coffee maker! Cable lost signals blurry
No coffee maker, tv has bad signals blurries
Was amazing experience
Nice staycation. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Parking entrance was easy to miss. We were hoping for a little continental breakfast but only coffee was offered. Staff was very friendly and informative. Descent for the money. we will stay again.
That had to be the worst experience ever. The “Hotel” smells like you entered a Veterinarian plus vomit. The bed appeared to be inflatable, the pillows were an inch thick plus they where “browning”. I believe Expedia put it as “Great Value” and that is why I booked it but boy was mislead…it was more like a long stay “hotel”…horrible.

Bed needed more pillows. More towels in the bathroom, but its a great place to stay
