Absolutely stunning property!
We had an amazing time at the Westin! The resort was spacious and quiet. Food was delicious. Clean beach (it was not swimmable, but we were able to walk along the beach). Multiple pools. I enjoyed the gym, sauna and steam room. I plan to return.
Very friendly and helpful.
Beachfront property
Most beautiful resort in Los Cabos. Very clean. Room service was great! I highly recommend. Beach and pools were beautiful.
Beautiful property! The location is about 30min from Marina and downtown. It’s a great property and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hot water did not get fully hot, I had it turned on max and it was still warm warm. I was disappointed in location of room since the property was not crowded I expected a central location but we were put at the end facing more of another resort. Maybe it was an Expedia room, I’m starting to feel like I should book directly with the property for better room locations.
I didn't like that the private beach was not swimmable. That should've been disclosed.
My recent stay was excellent! The service and friendliness of the staff was absolutely wonderful! Everyone was welcoming, polite, kind, attentive, and they really made my visit memorable and was a highlight of my visit! For privacy reasons, I won’t list everyone’s names but truly all of the staff were wonderful! The spa was lovely and treatments were amazing. Pools were relaxing! Our two bedroom ocean view room was clean, very comfortable, spacious and modern. Only complaint is that it was very dark and no windows in second bedroom. Dining options were plentiful and offered variety, although I overindulged on fish and shrimp tacos and fresh guacamole daily! Resort is safe, quiet and well maintained. I can’t wait to return!
Friendly and attentive staff. Great ocean views from the rooms, multiple pools and pool space, and good amount of beach area for lounging. Not a place for nightlife, but a great spot to relax.
The property was fine. Rooms were clean, the food was good and the service was fine as well. Nothing extraordinary about the property but it definitely served our needs for a quick trip to Cabo to get away and re-charge. We would visit the Westin again.
Muy buenas instalaciones, el l personal muy amable, buen nivel de cocina. Estuvimos muy a gusto, ya que es un ambiente familiar y no estaba atiborrado de gente! Sin duda regresaría
Property is secluded and quite and great for relaxing.
Only downside is you cants safely swim the hotel beach..lack of restaurants or hotel bar did not exist

Title: Major Disappointments My recent stay from 8/18 to 8/22 was far from the relaxing vacation I had hoped for. Despite booking a "ocean view" two-bedroom room, the experience was riddled with issues. Upon arrival, our bags were mixed up, and my bag was left at the front while someone else's belongings were delivered to our room. The bellhop's response was shockingly dismissive. Navigating the sprawling property was confusing due to lack of directions. The inconsistency in currency acceptance was puzzling, with the cantina not accepting pesos while Starbucks did. Inside the room, maintenance problems like a broken ice maker, missing toiletries, fallen curtain rods, and more added to the frustration. Requests for an ocean view room were ignored, even though the hotel seemed far from full. Privacy was breached when strangers charged items to my room, leading to disputes. Elevators frequently malfunctioned, and a non-working phone in one bedroom limited communication. Billing was a mess. Another guest's card number appeared on my receipt, and I was wrongly charged for parking. Unexpected charges of over $100 per day in "resort fees" and taxes were not communicated clearly. As a well-traveled individual, this was the worst service I've encountered. This experience doesn't inspire confidence, especially as an owner of a Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare.
Cabo wabo crew!!
We had a great time. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool. Food and grocery market was expensive and not a lot of selection. Restaurant staff was very accommodating especially when we requested fresh meats and fish for barbecuing . It was prepared just how we wanted. They only thing I was disappointed was the waiting area (lobby) considering it get very hot during the summer months. A ceiling fan would have been nice in the lobby. We were dreaded in sweat while waiting for our room and picked up our taxi.
Super friendly staff. Loved their pools.
There to relax and chill and it was provided - staff was quick to respond and pre-emptive to provide what you might like! Very friendly and efficient staff! Room and crashing-waves view and sound - beautiful!
its was an excellent experience
We stayed here last summer and it was absolutely wonderful. Staff was lovely and informative. My kids loved the pool and volleyball net. One downside (to no fault of hotel) was many guests would “stake out” and claim pool chairs in the morning and then not show up for 5 hours leaving those of us actually using the pool To cram into one or two chairs that came available. Again not fault of hotel Or staff but we have stayed at other resorts that don’t allow this. all in all a wonderful family Vacation and would go back in a heartbeat.
Beautiful Property
This is a beautiful property. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The everything we ate was delicious. The only downside was that you need a car to go anywhere off property. There is not much within walking distance.
Wonderful
We like the place and all what they offer
The staff was incredible, every one of them charming and very good at their job!
Wide open spaces, comfortable rooms and almost every single room has a view of the ocean. You will not bE disappointed. wide open spaces, comfortable rooms and almost every single room has a view of the Ocean. You will not see the staff is also unbelievably polite and attentive and I.any issues are resolved quickly. It's a gem!
The staff was so fun, friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!
Our check in process could’ve been a lot smoother. But other than that, beautiful property. The 2 bed villa was a perfect set up for 5 adults. The views were amazing and even better bc it was whale watching season
Falsely advertised ocean view. I looked at a wall. Signed a paper that they would not be responsible if I drowned. It was very hard to get around the property. Staff was nice but we left the next day .
Has a great time. Beautiful facility and very attentive staff. We had to scramble to find a place because of flight cancellations and they really took care of my family and I. Would stay again without hesitation.
Stayed for 1 week. Told at check in that housekeeping is every other day. On day three we contacted housekeeping to get room cleaned. No show. Day four, contacted housekeeping. No show. Day five we had to visit management and ask. Finally clean towels. Made dinner reservation one evening and showed up to no reservation. Fitness room keycard didn’t work. For a Westin resort all the small things add up and make the stay questionable.
the people were nice and helpful and very kind
Beautiful, safe, with great, friendly service
The entire staff was amazing but I’d like to especially recognize Gloria Gonzalez, a concierge who was absolutely the best at helping me plan an event, and Claudia and Axel, who taught the a yoga class. Claudia was an exceptional yoga teacher, and also kind and fun and just a joyous person.
Had a fantastic stay with my wife and 3 year old little one for our first trip (ever) to Cabo. Really enjoyed it!
Outstanding property! Transportation, Front Desk, Pool Staff, Restaurant and Housekeepers warm and friendly. First class amenities
First time there and would return. The pool options were great for older kids like ours and the property was very safe and clean and comfortable. I wish I would have understood the layout better when booking as the villas are a seperate part of the resort that wasn't great for my son who recently had knee surgery but staff was very accomodating.
Absolutely love this resort and will be back the employees did such a great job.
The property is beautiful. Extremely clean, rooms are spacious, with amazing views. The food was amazing. However, the property has lots of stairs and elevators to get from my location to another. It is not good for the elderly or people in wheelchairs
Needs a lot of improvement.
Booked a room with a ocean view, got a room with a view of a tree and antenna. No hot water first day, cold shower. Room hard to get to. Will not be staying here again.
This Resort is absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be staying there again!
During Checkin I asked the amount that would be authorized as I was only staying one night. The male representative said he would charge $500 in total than charged $750. Then to add insult to injury the manager charged the room rate and says she released the authorization. Now I have over $1100 in authorization holds for one night at the Westin. This was a complete nightmare! I will never stay here again.
What we liked most about the property is it's location between San Jose and San Lucas. Its staff are very hospitable and helpful, always willing to go the extra miles to help guests.
We loved this resort! Very family friendly. Great food and drinks. Wonderful staff!
Very peaceful resort with nice pools and beach
Mattres are very good. All building and rooms are clean. Is a very huge property, you need to walk a lot to move in. The staff is very kindly. Is a front ocean hotel but you can’t swim because is brave and danger. The restaurants are really really expensive and the food is very common. Nice swimming pools.
great overall
The room was outstanding. It was set up very well and was very clean, fresh. The room had all the necessities to include dish and laundry soap. (Not sure if it was ledt by previous guest.) The restaurant was empty, and servers and chef did not get one meal of the only meal we ordered right. However, they were happy to correct it. The pools were slightly heated, to take the chill off the water, which was a plus. The beach was immaculately kept and walkable. The only displeasing thing was the high cost of the room in relation to ocean view. This room did have an ocean view, but it was at an angel from the balconey. So unless positioned accordingly on the balconey you could not see it. Hence it could not be seen from the room.
There was no hot water. We requested early check-in but was unable to for hours. Our bags sat unattended in the lobby while we waited. When we returned, we were not given key card for our room.
Gorgeous water and location, hotel seems very well designed and upgraded for contemporary interior design/fashion
Liked that things were spread out with lots of space for COVID consciousness. In the same respect, the restaurant menus were ALL the same because of COVID. Limited selection and pricey. But all in all, a nice stay! Very clean!!
Cat 3 hurricane hit and we were told to be prepared to take care of ourselves. They lost power and internet. Our food spoiled. No compensation for the inconvenience. This is a property on the ocean and should have been better prepared.
WOW- what a place. With the Westin name, we were expecting a lot and were not disappointed in any way. Food was a little pricey though, but I expect that people who buy a Ferrari dont complain about MPG. Dont worry about not booking a whale tour, all you have to do is look out your balcony (every room is facing the beach) and wait for a few minutes. Very cool place, impeccable service and the location was safe and secure. Note about the swimming beach : I had read that the beach was not swimmable- dont beleive it. All they have you do is sign something that says you are responsible if anything happens. We swam all day, every day. The Westin is a super great place and we already reserved next Christmas. Cant wait to go back.
Service was poor. Will not return to the property.
Concierge was bad and no swim beqches
The check in was great. The front desk and concierge were awful. They gave bad information on COVID tests, bad information on snorkeling, beaches and on drivers. The hotel has amazing sun rise views. Can’t swim at the hotel in the ocean!
Probably the worst designed hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Confusing and ridiculous layout. I had no idea where anything was and had to actually carry/pull my own luggage to and from my room, which as very difficult due to the stairs and ramps that ran like a maze around the property. Staff were friendly enough at the pool bar but the service in the other places was extremely slow….brunch took a full 2 hours to endure and wasn’t a choice, since it’s your only option at $35 for plain and small portions. I won’t be back ever.
Very boring, definitely not a hotel for a family with kids. Only 2 options for restaurants and they are very very over priced. No night entertainment for adults. Hotel bar closed due to remodeling. Pool super boring, little music and if music it was over around 3:00 pm. Unable to get into the Beach. No stores near by. Uber eats does not deliver here. $35 charge from Taxi to get to Cabo San Lucas Arch. $70 charge from Taxi to get to get to this hotel from airport. The only friendly staff members were the staff from the pool.
The staff were wonderful. They do their best under challenging COVID circumstances.
Excellent hotel! We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back! Staff were extremely helpful and the views were amazing
Nos quedamos atorados en el Elevador
This place is huge !! Very clean, nice service, good food, and very nice pools!
so nice
It was beautiful and the staff were amazing
Quiet
The only place I will ever stay while in Cabo!! However, a better variety of foods while on the property would be suffice!! We did enjoy the Tacos!!
Nice facility, good for families or adults. Would stay there again
The way the place was designed. Also loved the central location.
Lousy hotel, badly managed
Although the hotel was half full, we were given a room with a view over a parking lot, even though I had booked a room with ocean view. We were promised a different room, but the promise did not materialize. The hotel was full of rules that were not explained, until you bumped against them. Never again will we stay there.
Pool was great, was my favorite part. Everything is clean, inside the room and outside. Staff was amazing and very friendly, they help a lot. We love the room, very comfortable. Highly recommended.
This place put the R in Resort. The staff was fabulous! Not ONE person was unfriendly. Cleanliness - immaculate-especially comforting in these times of Covid. Food was wonderful. We will most definitely return to this Westin. Will not consider staying anywhere else in Los Cabos.
I liked leaving the property. This was not a luxury vacation.
Baja Point was a beautiful property with stunning view. Exceptional staff & personalized service. Our Villa was large, very well stocked and clean. Baja point pool was very cold but the main Westin pools were great. Good room service, well stocked market with Deli, pizza, coffee, ice cream as well as grocery store. Enjoyed everything!
Horrible Customer Service
Two out of three restrooms were broken daily and required service our dishwasher stopped up and flooded the room had to be replaced. Not once were we offered anything for the inconvenience. In fact when I asked to extend my stay and pay regular weekly room rates I was told no my room rate would go up because it was Friday. We checked into a neighboring resort.
We had the best stay at the Westin celebrating my birthday. Everything from the food, the villas and the resort itself was just breathtaking! We will be back soon!
Staff can be improved. They do not make an effort to make you feel welcome. They do not accept dollars as a method of payment for your final bill. They convert your bill to pesos and charge an extra fee so you will end loosing money in the conversion.
Bad taste
The resort portrays itself as a family resort and it is not. It has a couple things for kids. The kids poop we were really excited for was so cold the kids could not play in it. There was a kids area for crafts. We tried to stop in there multiple times and no one was there with no explanation. The resort has 4 restaurants but they are never open all at the same time. Which limits your options. The Westin was a lot of false advertising.
Great property. Upon arrival, it seemed spread out due to some of our party being in the villas at Baja Point. It was a short golf cart ride up the hill and worked out fine.
Views were top notch. Alex at the pool was fantastic.
Decent hotel for the price
Nice older hotel that has been re-done. The amenities are nice including the gym. Nothing is over the top well done, however. There is a bit of a sewage smell throughout the property.
Excellent stay overall. All family members loved it.
Although we give it four stars, we were disappointed with our short, one night stay. On the plus side, the beach is beautiful and the pool facilities are nice. Rooms seems clean, spacious and well-appointed. The food was decent. However, getting around the facility is cumbersome. Many elevators and it’s a a bit of a maze with poor signage. Our room was in “Baja Point,” a separate structure at one end of the property, with mediocre views and a useless small balcony that did not have any chairs (or room for one). Also, unlike the JW Marriott, where we stayed before, we were provided only two tiny bottled waters in the room. If you’re choosing between those two facilities, the JW Marriott is nicer.
Beautiful property! Would come back ! A little confusing with all the elevators to get to our room but figured it out. Food was expensive in the restaurant. I thought $31 per person was expensive for brunch. Could use some budget friendly options. Rained the last day and got so wet trying to check out. Otherwise everything was great.
Fine for the price.
The parking lot should match the hotel. The parking fees should be included.
As described by others. quiet resort out of the way. all the amenities of any westin. all of the price tags of any westin. friendly staff great food.
The beauty of it. Every thing including the beach was pristine
On the beach great pools spacious rooms friendly staff,
If you like whale watching, this is the hotel for you. This is the fifth time we’ve stayed at this The Westin and we keep coming back. The staff is courteous, rooms are renovated and well kept, nice infinity pools and the views are gorgeous. There isn’t a bad room on the whole place. There’s a huge pool for the families with children and a more quiet pool with a swim up bar for the adults. The sea life you can watch from the pool is really extraordinary. The whales were just coming in and we saw pods daily. Can’t wait to go back!
Cleanliness and wifi is bery good. Lot of issues during check in. Wrong room (1 room), assigned initially, even though I kept saying we have 2 bedroom villa. Daily House keeping service never gave fresh towels, soap, shampoo or water bottles. Even after asking thrice to clean room when we left at 11 am, cleaner did not come until 5 pm. Resort buildings and elevators are confusing with various areas like Hotel, baja etc. Expensive and not good value for money.
Beach , views, gym , staff, bedding, market store. All of these are great! Happy to stay at a well maintained facility.
Great property, according to our needs with a 10 month baby. 2 bedrooms and the hotel provides a baby crib for us.
The property is very well kept. We found all the staff very cordial, helpful and polite. Really outstanding. Our room was above expectation and the food was very good too. Everything is a bit more expensive than in other destinations we have visited though. We enjoyed walking the lovely beach, seeing the sunrise the pools, and the giant Chess. We breakfasted every day and these were very reasonable and well served. We liked the little super market where one can stock up on basics and a Starbcuks coffee if one pleases.
The property was quiet- the beach had black flag days while we were there. 3 People made the visit amazing. Fidel worked in the restaurants and tried hard to make sure we had everything we wanted. He had a cheerful smile. Isabel kept our room very clean, and she was thoughtful about her cleaning. Omar saved me from going into the ocean the night I arrived since it was dark and I couldn't see the black flag. The people really made the difference.
We stayed in the Baja Point side of the hotel and overall, it was a pleasant experience in that the place was clean and inviting. Staff dealing directly with American customers spoke good English. Cleaning staff, not so much... They started EARLY in the morning, banging carts around and talking loudly to other staff. (I'd suggest giving them radios for them to communicate.) Overall, lovely property and view of the sea of Cortez. We even saw Manta rays jumping and slapping the water from the hotel beach one afternoon.
Nice hotel . Too much walking around the entire property to get to hotel rooms lack of functioning elevators. Clean rooms.
Our stay was amazing. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary .. we loved our view with a beautiful ocean view. ur stay was very comfortable and loved the service!
Am amazing place. Room with a magnificent view and everything in it from kitchenette to a full sized washing machine. Staff were fantastic. Helpful with everything and extremely cheerful.
My husband and I had an amazing experience at The Westin. No complaints, we can’t wait to return! The concierge was wonderful and helped us book awesome excursions (three for the price of one), the catch of course was sitting through their time share presentation. It was short and mostly painless, they were typically pushy, but it was still worth it once we saw those humpback whales on our day cruising excursion (off season too!). We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can’t wait to return!
Nice. Quiet. Not too much action on the pool. But people were delightful and helpful. Would stay here again especially at the price.

Liked the food at Carolina ,, the stay was very nice people were accommodating and very nice
