Property was very nice. Parking is expensive.

Parking garage fee too expensive

Beautiful property, the pictures don't do any justice. Clean and spacious. Would definitely return on my next visit to Houston.

The overall experience was great customer service friendly. Receptive. Answer text messages.

Toilet and refrigerator

I had to call customer service 4 times for the toilet not flushing then the refrigerator didn’t work. My insulin wasn’t kept at the proper temperature so I had to call and get another one.

Do not go to this hotel. We paid 161.00 for valet parking and it took almost an hour for them to bring down my truck. The valet captain did not care and lied to me the entire time we waited.

Nice place to stay when you need to be close to MD Anderson for medical appointments

We stay here for rodeo every year. It’s a nice hotel and the staff has always been great. I would recommend it. My only complaint would be some things seem excessively pricey like valet parking and drinks.

Was a one night stay after a HLSR Event, all was excellent.

Great hotel as long as you don’t valet

The hotel was wonderful, the service was excellent, but the valet scratched my brand new very expensive rims on my truck.

The restaurant provided decent wait staff and great food. The elevators were sometimes confusing. Overall a pretty good place to spend a vacation.

Nice Place

From valet to check in to Terrace 54 and everyone in between, they were all great! Property is beautiful, and easy to get to MD Anderson from there. Beds were comfortable. Will stay again!!

Parking charge was additional. Room upgrade was not offered

The location is close the Texas Children’s Hospital. It made going back and forth to the hospital easier.

Great property, the doorman that helped us was great. He was informative and overall made the stay great from the start! Would definitely book again!

So convenient if you’re an MDA patient. Staff is very friendly and I felt safe when navigating the area. Security guards presence in the area was comforting. Property very clean and beds super comfortable.

Excellent staff service. Kudos to Armani and Megan of front desk who accommodated our requests. Will definitely staying here again.

Westin was excellent. It is Expedia I’m an upset with. They charged me for parking, did not add it to my receipt. Then to find out that when you stay at the Westin, parking comes WITH your stay!

Little disappointed

I was expecting a true desk to work from as described in the post. There was only a small high top table with two chairs. When we checked in, I’d left my cell phone in the car - went straight back down to get it from the truck and the valet had my phone sitting - wrapped up- on the podium. He hadn’t called to let me know my phone was in my truck (??) I didn’t like that he took any of my possessions from the vehicle - found it very strange. Spoke to mgt about it - they didn’t seem terribly concerned. A bit of a let down considering we were staying in the medical center and trusted being at the Westin, we would be in good shape.

The property was very well kept, the staff were elite, and the most polite, the amenities were very nice. However, I do wish that the rooftop pool would be open for a later time for adults over 21.

Great place for kids and families

The rooms are updated and nice. The staff was incredibly friendly, one team member going as far as to show me how to get to the hospital without having to go outside in the cold. The onsite restaurant had very good food. I would absolutely stay here again.

The staff here are so friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver, Armani the check in person, and the bartender.

It was a wonderful property and space

When I got to the hotel got into my room. It was a little bit of a mess in the bathroom. But what's notified at the front desk? They took care of it and everything was great. They are very friendly and customer oriented will be staying there again in March for next business appointment.

Nice hotel but never received a room upgrade. Only complaint is comforter was sooooo heavy and blanket too light, no comfortable in between

Clean and spacious room with kind staffs.

Parking is expensive. You either pay for overnight parking, valet, or pay each time you park. Other than that, the hotel doesn’t have many dining options, but you can walk around the corner to various restaurants. Very conveniently located near the zoo, museum, park, and shopping.

Overall, it is a great hotel.

Great location and the food eateries directly around the hotel make it convenient to get to. Great service!

Great fresh juices at breakfast

The room was aesthetically, nice and modern. But poorly designed it took us 30 minutes to figure out how to turn off some of the lights. Also, there were high stools at the table for sitting. Which wasn’t convenient for me or my partner because we both have knee and hip issues so we weren’t able to use them dining. The glass bar door for the bathroom didn’t provide much privacy, and there was no fan in the bathroom for ventilation. The property is beautiful well taken care of and staff were all very accommodating.

my day was absolutely fabulous. I thoroughly enjoyed the luxurious yet comfortable space. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, I will definitely be back and leaving a review on my TikTok (@nicoleconfidential)

Great place to celebrate or have a staycation Kid and pet friendly. Staff is incredible, food is amazing, rooms are clean. We will return next year!

Elevators are very Fast. Staff very friendly

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the valet drivers and noticed infused water by the door for guests. The property was very clean and inviting.

Definitely not a family hotel.. the elevator was broken and one of the staff had to take us to the lobby from back of the restaurant.. he was doing his best us to avoid waiting after waiting for a long time for the elevator. However we literally had to walk inside back of the restaurant kitchen to get to the lobby because its on the fifth floor.. yet the brakes went off at the second night where we had to contact the front desk to make sure it was back on.. the hotel is definitely not convenient, easy or fun. Will not recommend.

I was in the shower when i realized there was no body wash or conditioner in the bottles si my shower was not a good one.

Great amenities Restaurant and bar open late which is good when your relatives are in the hospital across the street with 24/7 care

The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. It is conveniently located to all the hospitals and the medical tower. You can walk to ninety percent of the needed medical facilities .

Our family had to be at Texas Children’s and this hotel is so convenient as it is connected. They made our difficult time in Houston much better with their hospitality and great accommodations. The staff cooperation in helping was top notch!

I did not like being charge for 2 in room Dining when i ordered only One (1); and only one was received. I called the accounting desk and all I got was the answering machine. Left message and as of today have not received a return call.

Hotel looks very nice and location is excellent. However, we had no body soap in the shower, room did not work to open the room, elevator would not go to our floor, our room was not cleaned. When we complained to front desk they were polite but did not offer anything to compensate

Light on fixture behind TV could not be turned off- had to sleep with it on all night. It was wired into the wall. Also the body wash in Shower was empty.

The room was very large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and spa-like. My only negative was our ac was very noisy when running in the bedroom. The living room was nice and well furnished.

I have no complaints. The room was clean and the staff was very nice.

The location is very convenient.

Dropping my son off at Rice and will absolutely return to this hotel for future visits over the next four years. Clean. Comfortable. Friendly. Great food. Awesome pool. Perfect location. Efficient valets! Thank you.

One night stay

Quick, one night stay. Enjoyed the breakfast that morning. Everything was great.

Staff very welcoming and helpful & room very clean and comfortable. Coffee pot missing - no way to make coffee Room 1225. — Check on that!

It’s an older property but our stay was just perfect. The pool was really well taken care of, and of course the beds were the comfiest!

Wonderful room

The room was not ready two hours after checkin time, and there was no staff around for the early checkout. The facilities are getting old and under maintained as well.

Great stay

The hotel was nice room was good but the lobby on 5th floor was a little weird. The valet employees were blah and rude. Didn't help with bags. Didn't explain anything upon check in. Text service to call car was disabled. When calling valet to retrieve car they were not friendly at all and still I tipped them. Loved that their was a Starbucks nearby but other than that a okay hotel. Oh rooms were hot Ac was okay but it was on all night. A little noisy.

Valet was a mess when we arrived we were asked to stay in the back behind cars that needed to be moved but we saw other cars cutting to front. very unorganized. Our room temp was warm when we first arrived we put the air down but the room did not cool. I asked the front desk to have someone check it. We left for about 3-1/2hrs when we returned the room was even hotter. This was around midnight. I called the front desk twice no answer so we had to go to the lobby to get ask for some assistance. We were moved to another floor with a cooler room. On Saturday afternoon we went to the restaurant and it was a while before we go a server to give us drinks . Overall I was very disappointed in my stay.

Great location but parking can become a headache in the garage for the price but overall ok. Getting around hotel is challenging at first since there’s no location to stop in front of hotel. I have to take elevators and it’s complicated. Beware before booking here, rooms are nice but it’s in the middle of the medial district around 3 hospitals

Check in was a breeze, literally took 2 minutes then we were up to our room. Nice bar area really convenient location, we stayed here a night for a concert
