Due to a cheaper booking I got place in the older section of hotel over looking the roof structure No ocean view or offer to g Up grade to a room with good view
We LOVED our stay here!! They have a wonderful outdoor area with a warm pool and barrel saunas. They have lots of cabanas around the pool and seating with little fireplaces. It’s more of a resort actually. We had dinner at the restaurant here and it was sooo delicious. Service was top notch, the room was excellent. You are right on the seawall too. Stroll the waterfront. It is a perfect stay in Vancouver. I highly recommend it :)
noise
Ideal spot for anyone who enjoys exploring Vancouver on foot.
Great experience
Everything was great..too much for parking.
Amazing hotel!
Great location def would stay there again!
The location has beautiful views of mountains and the water on a nice day.
This hotel treated me very poorly, even as a Bonvoy member and frequent Marriot guest. I understand there were some other important people staying there and I was essentially kicked out on false pretenses. If you’re a local looking for a staycation I would avoid this property.
Great staff, king 1 bdrm suite is excellent!! Very comfortable for our family. Parking is the only thing that’s a bit annoying as you have to park across the street.
Great Stay all Around
Great view of the harbour, just a great stay all around.
Great staff; warm, welcoming and professional. Beautiful location.
I could not speak more highly of my experience at the Bayshore. I was there for The Eras Tour and the entire once in a lifetime experience was amplified by everything the Bayshore had as an exclusive partner. While there, I had a minor medical emergency and was treated like family by the staff as they attended to my needs. From the front desk to the entire hospitality staff, I would highly recommend the Bayshore for your next Vancouver stay!
I love this hotel. Favorite one in Vancouver. It has everything and feels like a real get away.
Everything was amazing except the house keeping services, that was a bit frustrating but besides that fantastic!
Westins are always great!
Highly recommend!
My entire experience was excellent.
Love the heated outdoor pool!
Excellent property and management. Always something happening at this property.
LOVED THE LOCATION AND AMENITIES
Loved the heated outdoor pool and saunas! Games room was great for the kids too!
The games room is great! Everyone was so helpful and lovely too. Definitely would book again.
Don’t say your hotel is pet friendly, when it isn’t. Cats are cleaner than dogs and children.
Best place downtown!
Amazing, best place to stay close to all amenities!
This is a beautiful property on the water
Just hotel charge us extra $100 I never understand for what 😁
Wonderful stay, staff was amazing
Amazing property. Great location. We will be back!
Small beds
Great amenities but I expected when I booked a room for 3 people that had 2 double beds that they were double occupancy (queen) beds. They were actually just double beds. I couldn’t fit comfortably beside my husband because it was cramped so I had to sleep beside my daughter and even then it was uncomfortable as very little room to stretch out. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel with double sized beds before. Our view was called a courtyard view but it was mostly a view of the roof below. It was pretty disappointing overall.
The best place to stay in Vancouver
The best hotel to stay in Vancouver. Close to all major attractions. The service is awesome.
The best. The only place we stay in Vancouver for the past 20 years.
Our home away from home. Wish we could watch our Netflix though
Beautiful property in a wonderful location!
Beautiful spot on the water close to Stanley Park
Nice place to stay if you are in the area.
Attended the BCACCS conference in the building and stayed in a jr suite it was amazing, clean, relaxing and the staff were amazing.
Rooms are a little bit old. But the services are great.
Incredible view of the harbour and city. Easy walk through the harbor to get to local eateries.
Beautiful place to stay, lovely staff and clean environment
Always good
My wife and I always enjoyed our stay here and likewise our Valentine day, was no different. We love visiting Vancouver and this is one of the best place we stay at.
Super kind and helpful staff, hottub and heated indoor pool were perfect for our family, location offers exceptional views and easy access to so much in Vancouver. Hotel room and hotel interior in public spaces looks brand new. Loved it. We'll be going back.
Sauna wasn’t available. Restaurant service was mediocre. Rooms weren’t clean. Got woken up early due to noise in the hallways.
location is good
Fantastic property in the waterfront with great amenities.
Last minute!
Last minute stay due to highway closure.
Great experience
Overall good hotel. Coffee maker in room didn’t work. Sauna was out of order. Pool area washrooms were filthy.
Excellent place, quiet and reliable
Great location and courteous staff. The location offers close proximity to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is also very close to Stanley Park. The breakfast ordered was delicious. The parking is located across the street from the hotel which adds a minor inconvenience. Overall, I would stay here again.
My stay in Vancouver
The property was amazing. The staff were friendly
Great !
We always enjoy our stay here. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating, the rooms are comfortable, clean. The bedding is lovely. The views from the room are stunning. Great amenities and restaurants. The location is very convenient and you have the seawall immediately outside to walk/run/bike. What more could you ask for.
Great hotel
Convenient location for access to Stanley Park. Lots of dining options. We felt safe and rooms are nice. I requested for an adjoining room and we were granted one. Only thing I could ask for are locks on bathroom as we have kids around.
Found a rotting food item under the furniture. Some kind of bone. Also no water in room. No staying here again!
Very kind and welcoming staff also Preston from the Westin was a great manager and very accommodating towards our requests. We were upgraded to the 20th floor for a very reasonable price and were highly impressed with our service and overall experience at the Westin Bayshore. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone interested staying in downtown for a couple nights.
View was spectacular and the service was excellent overall
Very good location, stunning views
Great stay
Classic place still holding the line on classic service
We loved our stay! Staff was kind, facility was clean and lots of entertainment within. Best Hotel we stayed in a long time.
Everything was great. Only first day was noise coming from outdor swiming pool. Somthing like heavy driling. This was intense for couple of hours
We stayed at a king room with marina view. The hotel is right next to the marina and walking distance to Stanley park. It’s super close to Robson street where all the restaurants and stores are. However, when we checked in, there was still food left in the fridge from the last guests. We called to have it picked up and no one showed up, even though they called us to tell us they “didn’t see anything in the fridge”. The shower was cold, which was fixed soon. There is an outdoor and an indoor pool. When we went to check out the outdoor pool, I fell on the ice formed on the ground by the pool - hopefully I didn’t hurt my bones but it hurt pretty bad. We informed the staff while checking out.
All good
Not very Westin like …… broken elevators, broken water dispensers, noisy, ridiculous restaurant hours. Would definitely think twice about staying here again
The customer service checking in and in the restaurants was very poor! The staff seemed to be not interested and not very welcoming. Not worth what I paid and will never stay there again!
Great room with beautiful view Great staff
Water wasn't hot at the pool and they were doing some constructions next to the sauna, so i didn't have a relax time. After that everything good.
Very impersonal operation. Lacking small touches as bottled water, empty minibar. Had ti call for a missing robe in bathroom. TV poor selection of channels, basically useless.
Our go to place for weekends in Vancouver. Convenient to Denman and Robeson shopping, but out of the way enough to be quiet.
clean room and nice view.
Amazing! Great staff. Wonderful experience. Would recommend and stay again
Pool & sauna was great, plus option of bikes to ride through Stanley Park.
Great Location
Great location for evening strolling. Close to downtown for walking the area
This was my second time staying in this hotel. I love everything about it. Room cleanness, restaurants, room views, lobby, two pools, and the arcade for kids. My son ENJOYED his stay at Westin. The only complaint can be about the smell of chlorine in the indoor pool area. It was very strong and gave us a headache after the swim
.
Loved the heated outdoor pool and sauna barrels.
Staff have been amazing. They go above and beyond
One of the best hotels to stay with dogs. Stanley park is around the corner. Nice restaurants.
This location of the Westin is at an idyllic location, right at the entry way to Stanley Park, and with magnificent views of the water and the mountains and the rest of downtown Vancouver, it is truly breathtaking. The food services are outstanding, and this hotel is committed to sustainability and wellness. One request - if some of the sliding doors on the older wing (the x00-x30 rooms) can be retrofitted with double-paned windows, it would keep the temperature under control. Also some of the sliding doors don't shut exactly right so the room could be leaking lots of warmth. So it would be great if the sliding doors could be inspected and fixed. Thank you! We love your hotel!
Stayed here forTaylor Swift concert. It was amazing they went above and beyond. Room was fantastic would stay here again!
Great!!
Lovely
Meeting family
Free bike rentals!
Overall a nice stay, but the lounge food and service not great. The rooms have a stunning view however and the beds were comfortable. I did feel that it was very overpriced.
Ver friendly and helpful
A lovely walk along sea wall to Stanley Park.
Amazing bedding. Loved the location along the harbour. Very easy to walk around the city from the hotel.
Pool was up and down
Great place, with great views!! Little costly but good experience.
The location and view from our window was amazing! Very nice staff. Would definitely go here again!
Great staff always good
Very nice! We would do it again!
Glad I chose this property over others. Dislike Vancouver I'm n general. Dingy, run down, crowded, traffic, not much to do. This Westin is older and the building itself kind of ugly. The staff was Wonderful and friendly - the doorman, housekeeping, front desk all wonderful. We enjoyed the pool and fitness center, the bikes, and our room was very comfortable though nearby guests could have been more considerate. Disliked not having the option of 2 queen beds. 2 doubles are just too small, even for 2 kids to share. Would like the option of 1 bunkbed plus ,1 queen. Overall the property was the highlight of the trip. Recommended even though pricey. Location and amenities worth it.
Really nice hotel at a nice location
My favorite place in Vancouver!
I was upgraded for an ocean view but I was disappointed because all I could see was the restaurant which blocked any possible view
