The property was nice and clean and stylish. Love the room layout and garden tub. Central location.

It was right by the local rail car which made it easy to get around the city.

When we first got to the hotel, it was a little hectic. The valet area was completely full and we weren't sure where to go as we were just blocking traffic. The valet worker told us we could go park in a garage close by and that worked great. We didn't end up getting the King room we booked, but we did get a very nice room with two queens that worked great. We could not find ice anywhere on the property, but ended up finding water by the gym. For the amount we paid for this hotel, I would've expected there to be ice around and overall just more service (our room didn't get serviced while we were there). There also was only a wine mini fridge in the room, so it wasn't cold enough to keep leftovers which was disappointing. Overall the room was really nice and the property was clean and right where we wanted. It was just missing ammenities and clarity.

This property was a nice stay the price pay was definitely worth what they had to offer. The staff were truly amazing very friendly and helpful. Check in was nice, smooth, and quick.

I recommended this place to five people. Absolutely loved the staff.

Very Nice!

Beautiful room and Gorgeous bathroom

Everything was fine. Only little things off were lack of luggage carts, but the staff jumped in to take luggage, and kind of stingy with the bathroom towels, but all in all, no other issues.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean, unique decor, wonderful restaurant and bar.

We enjoyed our stay, room was clean and bed was very comfortable, few things, the shower it was great but a crazy high water flow rate. Maybe if y’all turned down the flow rate from 12 gallons a minute to like 6 gallons a minute you could afford toilet paper that wasn’t so thin you could see through it. The room was quiet with an exception. You didn’t hear anyone in the halls you could hear anyone in the others rooms but you could hear every car that drove by and we were on the 6th floor. Not horrible as we sleep with a tv on so we could drown the noise out a bit. Last thing the flip down mirror on the coffee stand was hilarious, this seemed to be the only older item in the room and we found it quite funny. It’s definitely from a time in the past.

Staff is very friendly, rooms are very comfortable and restaurant offers really good food.

We had a very relaxing stay. Property was beautiful and it was a convenient and safe walk to and from House of Blues! Will definitely stay again. The nespresso machine in room was wonderful to have in the early morning. The soaps and hair care were very nice quality. Valet is pricey but there are plenty of parking garages to choose from. We were able to walk to our vehicle in the GreenStreet parking garage without being in the rain.

Great hotel Horrible TP

We arrived at night and left early morning in preparation for the Houston Marathon. The hotel was very elegant and we loved it. Would have appreciated a better view of the city but we had a nice view of some building art which we love. The room was spacious and clean. We called for ice and it was brought to our room in a timely manner. Love Love Love the mirrors. The only thing that was not up to par was the toilet paper. You cannot have that nice of a hotel with low grade toilet paper. It was so rough i refused to use the restroom and my partner said it actually scratched her.

Very straightforward check-in, parking, and access to our room. The room was clean and had a great view from the 17th floor. The shower was spacious and had fantastic hot water pressure. It was an overall great experience for the cost. The breakfast menu and food were another highlight.

Things that took away from the experience: Evening check-in staff just asked for ID and CC and sent us on the way (not even a hello welcome to the hotel lol), didn’t share anything about the hotel (gym? Restaurant? Parking?), no mention of breakfast (I paid for it but forgot), I went back down to ask if bfast is included and he said no; I asked to check and turns out, it was included, gave us the wrong time for when breakfast ended (stated 10am, but it ended 11am?), valet is expensive, the only water in the room is $8 fiji. The room was clean so kudos to the cleaning crew, and breakfast was nice (though took 35 mins to get food after ordering, granted it was an almost full house, but jfyi). Would I stay here again? No: a lot of competition in the in the area for the same price point.

I wanted to take a moment to share feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations, especially given that this was meant to be a special occasion—our anniversary. From the moment we arrived, there was an unpleasant smell throughout the property, reminiscent of mothballs. It was very off-putting and made it difficult to feel comfortable. Additionally, our room was not clean upon arrival. The pillows had visible stains, and I had to request new sheets and pillows, which was disappointing. This is not the level of cleanliness or care I would expect from your establishment. Overall, our stay was far from what we hoped for, and it left us quite disappointed during what should have been a celebratory time. I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and make improvements for future guests.

Was a great stay. Would stay again. Great location. Close to restaurants and night life.

Unique, vintage look to the rooms. Very spacious and comfortable. The most unique part were the folding mirrors that separate the bedroom from the bathroom.

Convenient and secure

Over charged with no explantation. Housekeeping came in without notice at 8am on morning of checkout. Still haven’t received a response regarding unexplained charges.

Propert is fine. Staff was super unhelpful. We have stayed here before and were met with complete dismissal when we arrived. Valet did not want to park our Toyota Tacoma because it was a “no truck after dark policy” despite us valeting with the same vehicle at the same hotel not even a month ago, so we had to park our own vehicle in a parking garage that was not available because the streets were blockaded by police prompting us to just return to the hotel and check in so we could figure the parking situation out.Then when checking in, the manager was prompt to tell us that our room was “not available” despite having it booked almost 3 days in advance. When asked why they didn’t have our room they just said, “we gave it away.” I was so confused and upset and when I asked what we could do he replied with “take it up with the third party.” And dismissed us. We originally enjoyed staying at this hotel and wanted to stay there again but I doubt we will ever return.

I disappointed with the food options, particularly breakfast. The variety was extremely limited, with only a few basic items that didn’t cater to different dietary preferences. The quality was also lacking—some items seemed stale, and there were minimal fresh options available.

Very hard to get room service and clean towels/washcloths. Front desk staff was rude and sent security to my room because I reported a broken tv upon check in. Hotel was clean and valet staff was friendly. Pool was small and water was sticky with over priced bar.

Wonderful Hotel, only problem was valet parking was not available for my GMC HD Sierra truck too big long they said so I had to park on the street or a parking lot 3 blocks down.

Good hotel but expensive “complementary” breakfast

The room was good and the staff were friendly however the included breakfast for two is incredibly misrepresented. If you pay for the breakfast you get essentially a coupon for $16 off per person. $16 does not cover the vast majority of their menu and is woefully inadequate for ordering a meal and a drink. This should be properly advertised so people can make an informed decision

The hotel has a great location, is clean, and the staff were helpful. However, booking through Expedia caused some issues. The hotel didn’t have the information about our included breakfast, and we had to explain it every morning, though the staff eventually waived the fees after some back and forth. This seems to be more of an Expedia issue than the hotel’s fault, as the staff did cooperate. The pool wasn’t very clean, so we decided not to use it. The gym was decent for a short stay, and breakfast was good. Our room, a deluxe corner, was spacious, very clean, and had a fantastic view. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Weekend getaway

Great hotel, located in downtown Houston but you’d never know it, it was so quiet

I had a man putting me into a uncomfortable situation. I tried to report it to the front desk and the lady told me she was on medication and couldn't understand me. I asked fpr security amd it has been over an hour and she has not spoke to me.

From valet, to the check in process, and the actual room itself everything was amazing!

Love the unique style of this hotel and the room. The location was great, walkable to restaurants and events at Discovery Green. Staff was excellent and the food was a great and unique experience too. Room service was an additional $20, not including the tip so… careful there. Overall great experience!

No parking at hotel, obligated to get valet or parking in a public garage. Location is pime to NBA rockets areana, and various store, bars and shopping around. My choice of stay everytime

Great location in downtown. Friendly staff. Only issue I had was with the room carpet which was obviously stained and dirty despite the dark color. Carpets should not be that dirty for a room charging $300 and over.

Very nice

The room was very nice however we were not able to check in on time. The room was not ready and this was an hour and a half after check in time of 3. Their excuse was they had a lot of checking in the night before and it was not guaranteed they would need to have a room available at 3. I requested a late check out and was granted an hour later. I paid extra for breakfast through my reservation and was advised it did not show and would need to have expdedua credit it as they would not be able to credit me. They were dismissive .

Incredible team (Erica and CJ!) always looking to help out. Awesome benefit of being able to use the Lifetime gym right next store. This will be my go-to in Houston right now.

Upon checking in, we were informed that they did not have a room with two queen beds, which I paid for in advance. I even paid $60 extra for the additional person, and I indicated in the reservation that it would be three adults in the room. Also, I checked in via the app that morning; therefore, we clearly indicated our arrival. Instead they gave us a king suite “upgrade.” This upgrade required my adult son to sleep on a roll away bed that was delivered with no linens. We even had the pleasure of setting up the roll away and moving furniture to accommodate it. It merely took an online request and a phone call to the front desk to acquire three king flat sheets and a pillow. As further compensation, they offered us late checkout, but we checked out before 8 a.m., which rendered the offer useless. I was then offered 500 points. I merely downloaded the app to check in; loyalty points are hardly adequate compensation for the “quality” of service provided by this establishment. Rest assured, we will not stay here again.

Property and the staff was enjoyable. Visiting for business and being accessible to most things to downtown.

I had no negative comments. Everything was 10/10. I enjoyed the scenery, hospitality and food.

THE PROPERTY WAS CLEAN AND THE ROOM IT SELF WAS PRESENTABLE I REALLY ENJOYED THE ROOM. MY ONLY ISSUES IS THEY CHARGED 56$ PER DAY FOR PARKING, WHICH IS INSANE, THE AREA IS KNOWN FOR CAR THEFT AND HAS ALOT OF HOMELESS PEOPLE IN THE AREA.

Absolutely fabulous

The stay was amazing

Having to get ice from the bar for personal use was a hassle. Since only minibar fridge was actually in room not very cold. Was traveling with my young grandsons so Access to ice 24/7 would have been nice. Phone chargers did not all work in room. Beautiful pool and gym. Staff was friendly and helpful. From maids, parking valets, front desk to kitchen crew at restaurant. Would definitely stay there again but just the wife and I. Outstanding staff in all departments.
