tiny but cozy hotel, a very good place for family

The hotel was very nice in a great location. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The only downfall is the bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked.

The room feels dusty and not clean, with an old carpet for my toddler to play.

We stayed here for Christmas and the staff were exceptional. They were friendly, accommodating and supportive in my kids having to spend Christmas away from home. They made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast and evening dinner food was better than any other hotel food we’ve experienced.

Excellent!!! Close to Seaworld!

Currently under construction so there’s some dust and smells from construction but otherwise very well maintained property. Our stay was still very comfortable. Look forward to coming again once the remodel is completed.

Ruined my trip to SeaWorld

Within the first hour I noticed my grandson’s feet were black on the bottom. I cleaned his feet only for his feet to become dirty again. I brought this to the attention of the front desk associate. I asked her how often is the carpet shampooed and she replied weekly. The hotel was booked and I couldn’t find another hotel to accommodate the size of my family, I asked for 4 sets of towels I was told I could only get two but I booked a 2 bedroom suite, clearly there would be more than 2 people. The television appeared to work off an antenna and the actual television was very dated. I am totally disappointed and dissatisfied with the quality of this hotel especially at the room rate I paid.

Very well clean and spacious!

Conveniently located to SeaWorld we opted to stay here. Nothing impressive at all about this motel. We didn’t plan on spending any time here so so it was adequate. Sleeper sofa was disgusting so our child ended up sleeping in the king size with us.

Will be even better when renovation is complete!

Amazing breakfast! The hotel was mid-renovation but the staff worked to be accommodating.

Others were right! Stay away. Luckily we were there for less than 7 hours. This hotel needs some major updates. Kid you not, our Two Bedroom hotel room looked nothing like the photos. My toddlers walked in and said this hotel room is old dad. The two bedroom doors were broken, bathrooms looked like it was falling apart. Bed mattress was horrible and literally sleeping on just springs. As a person who rarely complains. It was pretty bad. Even the floors were so thin it felt like I was walking on thin plywood like my garage attic. There was even a guy in a golf cart sitting in the parking lot starring at us. He eventually towed vehicles that night. Wish I had photos of the room but at the end of the day, it just wasn’t worth it. The only thing that made it up was the breakfast. It was a basic eggs and sausages but it made my morning. Front staff were amazing. Quick check in and out. Stay here if you really don’t care about quality. Not for this price though. This hotel is not up to par as the one in my hometown. Buildings getting old and heavily used for years. Take my advice if you have kids, go somewhere else.

The stay was great. The only disappointing part was that we booked 2 rooms at this hotel spending almost $1,000 for 2 nights because of the shuttle that they provide to and from Sea World. It’s a convenience to have the option to ride it and not have to pay to park. After we booked and checked in, we found out that the shuttle doesn’t run until 11 when the park closed so we would have to leave the park early or drive our own car and pay for parking. So we ended up having to pay for parking.

Dirty floors

Location was great room was good. Appeared cleaned but after the kids got out of the shower they walked around barefooted and when they went to bed the bottom of there feet where so dirty we had to wash them again and had to make sure they wore there shoes the rest of the stay. That was hard since we stayed 3 nights. Also noticed trash behind the night stand when plugging in are chargers. When looking for a missing sock we noticed that under the beds looked like they hadn’t been touched upped as well. We did notice that they are updating around the hotel and hopefully the rooms can get some updates as well as the beds. I couldn’t get out of our bed without waking up my wife since it was so loud getting into an out of bed. I will say the location is great since we were 3min from Sea World and that was the main reason for our stay. I would probably book again but will make sure we take extra socks for the dirty floors that need to see a mop.

We stayed a weekend and our ac was not working we called the front office and no one ever came to check it throughout the stay . Also the bathtub wouldn’t drain also called and when down to tell the front desk and still nothing. Our stay was not the best plus we had ants in our room also told the front desk and nothing was done about any of our issues

Great stay for families!

Perfect place for a family to stay visiting seaworld. The shuttle from the hotel to seaworld worked out perfectly! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Breakfast yielded many options for picky eaters. Older hotel, but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Dirty outdated hotel.

Most dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Kids feet inside the hotel were black after walking around for 10mins. Stains on the chairs and walls. This hotel hasn’t been updated in at least 25yrs.

Staybridge Hotel is the best!

It was amazing! Everyone was so nice and helpful, the front desk people were extremely friendly and so were the drivers that took us to Sea World and Aquatica. I will definitely come back next year!

Was this a murder scene???

We checked into this hotel on our way to Florida from Utah. Upon arriving I checked us in and sent the family up to the room while getting both vehicles cleaned up and parked (we are moving, so vehicles are packed). Before I could get to the second vehicle my wife called and said there is hair in the tub and blood stains on the pull out couch. I asked the front desk if we could switch rooms. She was very nice and I think a little embarrassed so she gladly agreed to help us switch rooms. I wish I could say the second room was better. It was just as bad. But had an overwhelming smell of bleach in the bathroom (was someone cleaning up a murder scene here). The only positive was we got our money back and had to go get a second hotel after 2AM Sincerely the husband

Great location but bad service from some staff

Over rail hotel was OK great location for families traveling to SeaWorld. Only thing is hotels out of date. I’ve stayed at multiple state bridges and this one was the oldest one. I’ve stayed at beds are little uncomfortable pull out. Couches are really bad mattresses are less than 2 inches for sheets the first night There because they were stained sheets at night had to go to the front after waking up getting breakfast and asking for sheets again lady wrote it down but never happened because Cleaning ladies went into the room sheets were still on the floor towels were refresh but no New comforters old comforters were still on the floor so after getting back from SeaWorld at 4:30 I kindly walked up and asked for new sheets front desk lady called cleaning ladies and multiple cleaning. Ladies said why are we being rushed to get sheets but then I was just asking for new sheets after asking in the morning at 10:30 front desk lady and cleaning ladies fought for about a minute on the phone asking why we’re rushing or why I need new sheets so front desk lady asked me to bring sheets upfront mind you , I walked up front with the sheets And personally handed them to her and showed them the stains Over breakfast and the shuttle to SeaWorld was a great experience. Might be a little weight to get into SeaWorld but the best thing for a first time experience for our family.

Was a good comfortable stay room was a little weird where TV was it we wanted to hangout on the couch we couldn’t see the TV due to the position it was at but no complaints it was relaxing stafff was amazing and love the breakfast and just very good hotel will definitely be coming back in the future

The hotel is conveniently located close to Sea World and they offer complimentary shuttle service to the park. Our room smelled of urine and the carpet was damp. The chair in our room was stained and dirty. The hallways in the hotel smelled of weed. Overall it wasn't what I was expecting from an IHG based hotel.

Comfortable, with a few challenges

When my family comes to visit, they always stay at Staybridge SeaWorld in a one Queen bedroom suite. They always look forward to their stay. The personnel is very friendly. They appreciate the breakfast and light supper. This time the room they were assigned had a broken dishwasher. They had to change rooms. The second room had a missing desk lamp, but otherwise, was very comfortable.

Beds got stains marks and the blankets were wet!! A/C was on all night long also we cannot control the temperature. A/C was stuck on 66

I never got my $25 deposit back. It shows it’s still pending in my account and it’s been almost 3 weeks.

Had a few repairs that needed to be made within the room. But repairs were made swiftly. No ither issues occurred. Good stay overall.

Could be cleaber

Staff was superior! Staff was very nice and accommodating. The Seaworld shuttle was a huge benefit as was the buffet breakfast. They said they were in the middle of redoing some rooms still and ours was one that definitely needs to be redone with different holes in closet door and curtains etc. That was the only negative though and once they get that room redone it will all be positive at this hotel.

Staff was very friendly. I enjoyed my stay, if I were to go back to San Antonio I would definitely go back!

Everything was great until the electricity went out. Once restored, no television, no internet, no room phone service. Could not contact the front desk, the telephone service was out. When I spoke with the first desk clerk about a credit, I was told they don’t do that so I checked out at 6am.

The rooms need to be renovated. Couches are dirty and old. Beds are uncomfortable.

room we got was a suite with seperate rooms, each with its own restroom and shower...kitchen with fridge, sink mini stove but we didnt use only microwave...very comfortable...the breakfast was awesome...the ladies working at breakfast were so nice just like front desk..very well managed and employees very courteous and room very clean..thank you A

We were 'upgraded' to a bigger room by the sweet desk staff. Got to the room and upon opening the door we were welcomed with the most horrible dirty feet smell we have ever smelled. The carpet was dirty and reeked. The carpet appeared to have been in standing water for an extended time like maybe the room had flooded and not been properly dried out. The beds were excellent and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and great assortment. Garbages were overflowing. Desk clerks were all very friendly.

Our experience was great. Jay provided great customer service at check in. The room was well-equipped, spacious and clean. This hotel has the best breakfast we have had at a hotel. This hotel is also super close to Sea World. We would stay here again inna heartbeat!

AC issues

The room was relatively warm when we checked in. The thermostat was not connecting as so we couldn’t adjust the temp. It was slightly cooler then the 90+ temps outside that day.

Easy access to SeaWorld and great transportation to and from SeaWorld.

Very quiet, clean and close to Sea World. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to Sea World should you need it 👍

Great stay for Seaworld of San Antonio

This place is awesome for a trip to Seaworld of San Antonio. They offered us shuttle to and from the park! Breakfast was good with all you can eat. Bed are good. The pool is cozy also. The carpet in the room we stayed was a little weird but everything else was GREAT. We had a party of 6 (four adults and two kids 9and 10) and overall great experience.

The breakfast was great! The staff were wonderful! The hotel was in a perfect location, if you're planning to visit Sea World. The pool was small and dirty. There could have been more amenities. We were overall pleased with our stay.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. I felt at home here at the hotel. The staff was great and the room was perfect. The Breakfast was great you left full.

This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at and will continue booking here from now on. They went above and beyond for us and offered alot of services that alot of other hotels would charge alot but its complimentary there which is why we’ll be going back every single year from now on!

I liked there was a single entrance for vehicles so I felt mine was safe. Although we didn’t use it, the pool area seemed nice. I did enjoy the lemon water in the lobby.

The breakfast did not taste as good as other Hotels. Eggs were cold and sausage was very flat and tasteless. Room was great except not enough bars in the bathtub walls. Only one

No ice machine. Room was not kept up. Mold on walls. Room keys would not work because door lock was broken. Do not stay here!

Bathrooms not so clean! Could be better! And Air Conditioner does not have a remote which is a big minus!

THIS IS WORST STAYBRIDGE SUITES in USA. It is outdated and like MOTEL. Expedia guest gets worst rooms in any hotel. This hotel needs updates, everything is old and worn out - AC, Furniture, bed, sheets, bathrooms. Staff is good and accommodating but does not matter when property is so outdated. . Breakfast is standard. Overall bad experience.

The phone didn't work and the front desk never answered the phone. Also, the TV's had no remote and didn't work. There were no sheets for the pullout bed. There was only a pillow and a blanket, which was the size that could only fit a toddler's bed. Furthermore, the pullout bed had broken metal rods sticking out of it and there was food crumbs, dirt, and bugs under the pullout bed mattress.

I wish the hotel would keep it cleaner. Someone spilled their food in front of our room. We asked the front desk for cleanup. But after almost 2 hours, the mess was still there.

The hotel was not super clean and the room had a bizarre odor. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly.

No sheets for the sleeper sofa. No extra towels.

The room was completely filthy. Bathroom toilet and shower were dirty. Dishes and silverware needed to be rewashed. All table and counter tops were dirty with grime. They did not honor our confirmation upgrade. Said no room available. We were staying 8 days. Got a nice room at the Marriott next door.

Staff was really good but the rooms felt old and weird. Bathroom was tiny and the door bumps right into the sink. Beds were uncomfortable.

Family trip to Sea World

This hotel is perfect for a family trip to Sea World. Hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful. Trying to find food for the whole family is about a 10 min drive but easily doable. Overall great experience

Close to Seaworld. Took the bus and they dropped us off right at the front entrance and picked us up when we were ready to go.

They were quick and willing to do what they could to help me with the 2 rooms and the way we wanted them

Wondeful experience

The stay was amazing. I was surprised by the amount of space each room had. Very conveniently located at a stone throw away from Sea World. Would definitely stay there the next time too.

My stay was wonderful. The tall black lady was extremely nice . She went above to meet the expectations for things that I needed . I would revisit again .

Very Dirty Place.

AC would not get the room COLD. it was cool but room always read 72 degrees even set at 65, which made for an uncomfortable sleep for us but room was nice.
