Nice room, could use a refresh.

The room was clean but some of the finishes showed signs of wear. Window curtains had a hole in them, stain on carpet, wallpaper in the bathroom was pealed away.

Very polite and nice staff. Very clean.

Overall the property was nice, but the room was average. Our shower leaked all into the bathroom floor, and the toilet paper holder fell off the wall.

I miss the staff & breakfast

Pretty unsatisfactory

No customer service, no housekeeping until 3rd day abd I left the 4th day., very dark yellow dimmed lights. Bug on wall, only 2 towels and when I asked for new towels on 2nd day they said they had none. I travel for work but this was just overly poor.

When i got there. They person that gave me my key was not letting me speak at all. She kept talkimg over me even if i had a question. I ignored her and then went back to the car

I did not like that the hotel incorrectly put in my reservations, deactivated my room key within one day and gave it to another customer with me in the room while I was indecent, then falsely accused me of not paying and booking a reservation, I did not like that they marked me as a no show on my reservation the same day I checked in and paid in full, I didn't like how I was treated as if the incident was my fault. I like how they pretend to care, gave me breakfast and gift card to the restaurant, a free night, but never got the money back that was promised.

Well I didn't like the fact that three floors smelled of weed. And my floor 6th didn't have hot water only warm water after running it for 10 mins. My 1411 floor was decent until they started doing construction on the rooms & I could smell it whatever they were using.now I've been there since December of 2024. I promise you it will be the last time I stay there.eco friendly that's a joke.they are only upgrading the the rooms #NOT THE PLUMBING or #HAVAC SYSTEM you can put pink lipstick on a pig still won't look pretty.

I had a crying baby next to my room.

All the staff members are already friendly. The hotel is quite, and it's in a great location for food and stores you man need while visiting.

Coffee machine was broken. No bath soap was available.

My stay was good Gia at the front desk was friendly and make check in easy and quick. The only thing I would say is the property is a little outdated. It was very clean but it reminded me of an elderly persons home.

It was a pleasurable stay the bed was cozy and the view was great.

I have never stayed at a Sonesta property, but was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for something inexpensive, since it was a quick trip for me. But I definitely plan to choose this property again when I return! Staff was very friendly and helpful, parking is included, and the property was very nice.

I want to give a notice to the guy name Skip who works at this hotel. Very friendly & helpful guy. It's people like him who makes people like me want to come back to business like this. Friendly and helpful staff are who makes hotels thrive with returning customers.

There was a winter storm during our stay, and a lot of busineses ended up closing, so I can't speak to the convience of nearby businesses/restaurants. The grounds were maintained well in preparation for the snow.

The lobby was gorgeous, but the room itself was extremely outdated and dirty. The toilet did not work. When attempting to shower in the morning, the water was ice cold. Not at all the stay I was hoping for.

Staff was friendly, rooms were outdated and rundown the wall in the bathroom was warped and the shower head shoot the water up to the ceiling. The worst part is that there was no hot water at all not even warm. I told the lady at the front desk, and she said she would let the engineer know and I figured she probably forgot, and I told her again and she said the same thing. I learned my lesson Check the reviews before I stay at any hotel.

I saw what others said about a dated property, which i can agree. even the phone looks like circa 1995 and the toilet and tub looks not much newer. i mean even old school Marriott is still decent today. that said, the room was a little small but clean, the sheets were really nice, service was first rate. i didn't partake with the restaurant or bar as it's probably overpriced, but the breakfast was well above any economy place. eggs and coffee were good, the breakfast potatoes were excellent. for the price i paid, it was a steal. i mean they sort of try to be a 5 star hotel but the property doesn't hold up to that level, but it does blow away any budget chain and the price at $100 out of pocket was like $15 more than the motel 6 across the street.

We had great service from all of the staff and the location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Very dated and worn. We had a large suite with an excellent view but the overall condition left a lot to be desired. They also didn't provide many towels (only 2 for 2 people for 3 nights). It has so much potential to be great, especially with the amazing staff, but it needs some love.

Air quality was poor. Make sure vents are cleaned for proper ventilation. Pillows were flat.

Good stay. Outdated. Staff was very kind. Room upgrade was nice so we had a balcony. Bathroom was pretty small, but overall fine.

Fresh Daily Delicious breakfast. Mario was a great hospitably host. Would have loved a room that was not handicap accessible, but overall cannot complain as our room was away from everything and was quiet.

It was nice place to get away to and very quiet.

I liked that the property had some secretly with the use of your key to get up on any floor. The bad part of this property is that I did get hot water until my 3rd day they. I called down on my 2 day there and told them I didn't have any hot water, that was in the morning around 9am they ask if I would be leaving for the day, I said yes that way you guys have a lot of time to get the hot water working. I came back 8 hrs. later still no hot water. I called to the front desk and told them I still didn't have hot water. The front desk said they would send someone right away up tp my room. I waited 1 hr. had to call the front desk again, and she (the front desk) ask Oh he is not there yet, I said no still waited another 30min. had to call again, and was told he was checking up on another water problem. I told the front desk why am I waiting for 1.5 hrs. while it was a new call on the other water problem, they had to much hot water. Finally after 2.5 hrs the mantinancguy gets there and ask If I had turned on the sink and the tub at the same time I said yes I have, but also told him no one should have to do that if there was no problem. The lady from the front desk came up and offered me the room across from me, but I checked that for hot was and there was just luck warm water. I told them that this is not good and that I should get my money back for the last 2 days. Being that on the 3rd day I finally had hot water. Under the contract of a room in a hotel the room has to have hot

Very dirty, cek in 4 am moning cek out 11 am, no 12 am, only 11.30 am, dirty room, smell no good, no come back again

Staff was nice, outdoor area was nice, had issues with the heat initially, tub was dingy, towel bar was broken, bathroom door had minor damage, and bathroom trash can lacked a plastic bag.

Had issue with Hotel.com. The front desk service rep tries to help me to solve the issue with Hotel. com (The customer service from the hotels.com is really terrible, will try to use "direct hotel site" as much as possible now on.)

Great service with very Friendly staff

We always choose Sonesta every time we visit Atlanta. However; the property and room conditions get worse every year. Random noises throughout the day inside the room and the air conditions make loud noises every hour. The blanket looks clean but very itchy. Luckily we brought our own blanket. The bed is old. Each side is not even. Heavy weed smell inside the elevator. Bar closed early on Saturday.

Horrible experience the hotel false advertise the rooms. Management was unprofessional, actively looking for a way to dispute my room. I spent way too much money for terrible service.

It is a very good property. Receptionists was very good and polite.

First room I was assigned was dirty and had a running toilet. Upon asking for a change, I had to repack my things go to desk turn on the room key in order to receive a different room at midnight. I had to clean the room myself (dirty toilet, sofa) and the smell was stale, no a/c or heat. No service for towels.

Property appears to be nice from the lobby but once in the room you could tell it was old and weathered. Broken tiles in the bath tub, floor had wet spots that never dried and peeling wall paper. Outlets didn’t work and when these issues was brought up day one they said sorry we are all booked up. I had to stay due to my conference being held there but will never go there again.

Nice hotel near food and shopping.

Nice hotel with nice rooms. It is updated. The only complaint would be it is very cold in the lobby and dining area. You need your key card to use the elevator which sometimes is finicky. The breakfast was nice and a good selection. They have a gift shop and Starbucks. Did need more than 2 towels for a long stay but asked and they were nice and quick to supply. It is very well lit up at night and safe area.

Horrible Stay

Smoke detector in room kept beeping due to battery low and told office three times before finally asking to switch rooms because no one ever came to fix. Also, only stayed there because of having indoor pool for grandchild to swim and although advertised as indoor pool, it is not heated and is connected without outdoor pool so there is no way to swim in the winter months. Maybe should advertise that for those staying just for the use of a pool!

2/10 Stay

The hotel was fairly outdated except the lobby. The room was pretty dark and dingy. There was no hot water on the 9th floor then transferred to the 4th floor. Smells like cigarettes and weed throughout the halls. Beds and pillows were pretty uncomfortable considering we were staying 5 days and 4 nights. Cleanliness was not there. The bathroom wall had black mold lining against the corners indicating some water issues.

Upon entering the lobby everything was clean and fresh. However once You enter the rooms floors it’s a different story, carpets are extremely dirty and wore , walls have updated wallpaper that’s dirty . The lighting wasn’t the best in the hallways . Overall it wasn’t the hotel when thought we were receiving . The hot water in the first from didn’t work, the receptionist told us our only option was to wait for an engineer to show up and fix it, had to plead with her about having prior arrangements to get moved to a different room. Overall i would rate this experience and hotel 1/5

Could’ve Been Better

I felt that for good service I had to pay extra for everything from the housekeeping to the breakfast. The shower water never got warm and the towel racks fell down once you placed a towel on it. My family didn’t not enjoy themselves which made for a not so good experience.

Why did I not get VIP? Never offered. Would have been nice to have free coffee in the lobby as we were leaving.

First impressions were mediocre and a bit disappointing. No carts for luggage. Preoccupied front desk staff that was pleasant enough with quick direction. 5th floor hallways & room looked tired and in need of an upgrade. Room was clean enough to stay. Towels & sheets were clean. Worn doorway and warped bathroom door. Older tub and tile made me question how clean it was. I appreciated the eco friendly soap containers. Coffee pods did not fit coffee maker. The microwave & fridge were clean and in good condition. The pillows & firm bed were very comfortable. The decor was very plain (especially bedding) and lacked the cozy vibe I was hoping for. Large tv with basic channels.

Traveling with a party of 4 and only allowing 2 people to have free breakfast was kind of disappointing. The shower handle in our room was broken but we made due. Didn’t have enough towels. Requested some but ended up having to go down stairs to get them after waiting an hour.

Not a good hotel

Never a bad stay when I come here. A couple things I did not like this time. 1. At check-in the attendant was not welcoming. Normally check ins are great! Not this time. 2. There was some kind of dragon conference and the hotel was packed. I love that for Sonesta, but guests were bad about slamming doors throughout the night. 3. Someone brought their dog into the dining area during breakfast, not ok. 4. We had to switch rooms twice. 1st room the water would not get hot, 2nd room the heat did not work. The room switches were a little chaotic because I turned my keys in and left items in both rooms so I needed additional keys to get back in both rooms. The first attendant that assisted was amazing! The second attendant, not so much. Main thing was I did not like all the questions regarding the room switches. I’d already explained what the issues were. I became agitated when she asked if there was a reason why I wanted to switch, she said they don’t switch rooms without getting the problem resolved and that she could send maintenance. The 1st attendant had already made the switch. We just needed to get our belongings out the other rooms. It made me feel some kind of way. I did not want the other two rooms and for the safety of my sister and I, I did not want anyone in our room. I stay at Sonesta for many factors, customer care is one. I was disappointed this time. I will still be back soon. Hoping it will be better next time.

Could have been better for the price.

Check in didnt go very smooth due to credit card reader malfunctioning. There was no parking due to a magical con convention taking place in the hotel which I was not told about. Halls were very noisey due to the convention. Heater did not work in the room. Bed was lumpy and pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

Stayed here prior 10 yrs ago. It was much nicer then. Furnishings feels old and outdated. Bathroom needs remodeling

This is my go to hotel when I go home to ATL. I am always very pleased when I stay. The staff is always super friendly, breakfast is great and has variety for everyone, family friendly, nice size rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, AMAAAZING views, I love that you have to use your room key to access your floor, which made me feel very safe, right off the expressway, close to shopping and food (EXCELLENT location) just an all around great hotel to stay at. We did have one issue, which I will not disclose, but the customer service attendant at the desk was SUPER understanding about it and handled my situation expeditiously. Wish I remembered her name, but she was amazing. Other than that, GREAT! AMAZING stay! Kudos to the hotel manager for running a well, neat, clean, organized and AWESOME staffed hotel. Says a lot about him/her as a person. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a place to stay.

I wish I could give a better review but the shuttle driver skip refused to drive the shuttle due to him sitting st the bar drinking with a friend well he was working. The only reason I came to this hotel was to use the amenities of the shuttle and I was refused because I wasn’t in a group and “he wasn’t driving 1 person” location is in a good spot if your walking and don’t mind getting in your steps. Farther from the airport but not a horrible uber ride
