Awesome service!

Not very clean, a lot of broken things, shower very nasty

Overall nice accommodations, dated furniture and not for ADA. THE COUCH WAS RIDICULOUSLY midget SIZED. Not able to use. Service was sketchy. My stay 18 days. I re-upped several times 4 LOCATION. I kept the same room. Service didn't think they should come change out anything. ONE MAID CARED. Fortunately brought my own linens and cleaning supplies. SMH. My door was inop. Just inappropriate and needs to be fixed room 119. Allowed animals and the person next door in 121 was allowing friends to bring their dogs and leave them also when they went out. THAT Room was marked handicapped not 🐶 dog. The dog barked for hours alerted front desk 3 xs the same jerk was there my entire stay. ASKED DID I WANT TO HAVE MY ROOM MOVED AND I HAD A RESERVATION SINCE THE SUMMER. SHOULD HAVE MOVED HIM OUT. Food okay. Also that same person next to me had an auto start to their vehicle which had a cut out muffler and left every day at AND B4 zero 600. One day another spun out in the F front of parking lot for over 15 minutes and the police were NOT called. Nice. But overall it's still a nice hotel 😂 just not for quiet older disabled folks. More like a P Diddy place vibe you would notice with the looks of some of the comings and goings. The staff were absolutely nice 🙂 I will wrap up. I had parcels come and they held them for me. Friendly for the most part. 🤓They have a wonderful fireplace that wasn't lit during coldest temperatures in SA. 😩 It may work this summer eh? I asked about that 3xs

Beautiful accommodations with great service, excellent breakfast and dog friendly. A little noisy and bed was not so comfy but good parking and easy to get to. Great food recommendations. Would recommend a stay, especially for the price.

Black mold

The staff was amazing but had problems with rooms. First room was unlocked when we went to the room, the when shutting the door almost impossible to get open. The second room the heat didn’t work and had to switch rooms again after arriving back from a concert. The third and final room was spacious but the second bedroom had black mold on the ceiling along with a large crack in the ceiling with obvious water damage, the vents were rusty and covered in mold as well.

Not all rooms are equal

This is an older property. It does look dated. It is clean, some room furnishings show wear and tear, and room repairs have not always been done with care. I stayed in room 229. Do not accept this room! It is next to the elevator and every time the elevator is used, you clearly hear the machinery. The room also is next to the stairwell and you can clearly hear people walking up and down the stairs. The room smells. I suspect room 329 has the same noise problems. As far as value for price, I have stayed at other properties in the area and this is one of the cheapest that is equipped with kitchenettes. It’s not bad for the price, just be aware that all rooms are not equal.

The price was great. The staff was friendly. The only problem that I had was that the toilet seem to run continuously and you could also hear other people's doors closing and people in the hallway. The property was clean, and I got the impression that it was a lot of people who's were workers who were living there.

Had everything we needed. Place is a little older and appears to have been renovated within the last few years. Overall, met all my needs for the low price.

Amenities are in need of an update . Paint face lift was poorly done . Night shift staff in need of training for feeling the guests welcomed.

Don’t Care About Customers!

Stay was the worst experience with Hotels.com. Make a reservation 30 days in advance for trip only to be given a different room when arrival and told too bad. Not really good business to just totally disregard a reservation because we have a given your room to a company! Oh well last I use their motel or hotels .com .

Good For Location @ Price

Had a 2 day stay for a conference. Parking is roped off. 1 way in. 1 way out. There was construction material on back side taking up handicap parking space. I stayed in room 243. Bathroom door was loose. Cups in cupboard was dirty. Housekeeping never came to change sheets or give new towels. Trash was not taken out/ changed. Rooms are comfortable but walls are thin. Iykyk.

Absolutely great bargain for the location, cleanliness and safety surrounding the property. The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking. As a bonus, we were surprised at how large the room was, to include a stove and refrigerator.

The property is dated but clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. We could hear people talking as they walked by our door and we could hear the water running whenever someone used the bathroom or showered. We stayed for a week and felt comfortable and safe. The property is next to IH10 and close to shopping, bars and restaurants.

Like the conscience of nearby dining options.

Overnight Stay

We needed a place to sleep safely. Check in was good. The hotel was outdated but it was clean. The room looked outdated but clean and served its purpose.

Staff and service were better when it was Staybridge. As for the property, no complaints there.

Good room at a competitive price

Clean, well appointed room at a competitive price. Good breakfast in the morning. What could have been better: I’m a light sleeper and the refrigerator was noisy, control knob was missing so no way to turn it off. Also a little freeway noise, I would ask for a room opposite the road if I stay there again.

My key cards the entire time did not work.

Very comfortable loaction

This location was ideal due to it being minutes away from medical center. It was a comfortable stay and it was as private as it could get. We will definitely be staying again in the very near future.

First off we were here for a volleyball tournament the pictures online are so not true. Upon arrival I check in and ask the young lady could she accept my AAA and government discount rudely she said no, but didn’t hesitate to tell me about the 30 dollar early check in fee. I arrived at 3 pm to drop off my bags because our game didn’t start until 3:30pm.. There was a barking dog a few doors down..Once I got to our room it had a very foul smell as if it was something wet left in the room. Then after disinfecting our room and beds we noticed a stain on the pillows and bedskirts. The phone didn’t work in the room nor could you call the hotel directly from your cellphone. This hotel needs to be remodeled I slept in the bar stool chairs after noticing the stains.. Book at your own risk..

Would honestly say my experience staying here was better than I’ve imagined & definitely would choose to stay here again. Very nice, family and couple oriented hotel for long stays. Wasn’t expecting our room to include a full kitchen (sink, fridge with ice maker, microwave, stove, dishwasher, cupboard including plates cups and glasses) included free parking with enough spaces & my favorite part was FREE breakfast (buffet with hot meals & LOTS OF VARIETY to choose as breakfast options)! Loved the stay here as it was my first time visiting San Antonio. 10-15 minute drive to downtown but easy drive

The space was great. We had a two bedroom suite. Rooms were clean, but we did have to get new sheets since one of them had a big stain. Staff was prompt and gave us clean sheets to change them. We had enough towels we did have to ask for bed sheets for the pullout couch and staff was very helpful and provided what was needed. Only downside was the breakfast not very good we were expecting pancakes or waffles , they had none,and they ran out of food fast. Staff couldn’t keep up with refilling everything,there were too many people at the hotel when we stayed.

My vehicle was vandalized in the parking lot owned by Sonesta ES Suites. The assistant manager stated Sonesta was experiencing several incidents of vehicles being vandalized on their lot. I was instructed to contact Kurt Thomas, General Manager, for information to submit a claim and have the video routed to the police department. Kurt has refused to provide any information and has ceased email communication. I do NOT recommend staying at this hotel.

Room was sub-par. We were charged extra to check in early not a big deal. Room didn’t have hot water one of the nights and if more than one person showered back to back hot water ran out. Cleaning was not done daily only by special request and curtains on the window were ripped.

Do not recommemd if your traveling with children, not worth the stress of your car getting broken into, roaches and bedbugs, ants etc… widows are cracked kitchen and bathroom has mold.

Good spot near Medical area

Absolutely would stay here again! Close to the highway but not on the highway, so quiet and felt secure. Lovely, homey, cozy building with comfortable beds and a pleasant living space and kitchenette. There was a hot cocoa bar in the lobby which felt so welcoming when I arrived. The exercise room was well equipped and allowed me to keep up with my fitness goals. Included is a plentiful, delicious breakfast. But the real standout about this hotel is the staff! They were all so kind, helpful, and really made me feel welcome.

The toilets are my only concern. They’re extremely short. Like squat low short. I’m 6’1”

It was good

This was our first time staying at Sonesta. We stayed in the 2 bedroom. The room was so spacious. There was some normal wear and tear but nothing that would keep us from staying. Everything seemed to be pretty clean. We enjoyed being able to cook dinner in the room. The location was great because its a 10 min drive to Six Flags and 20 mins to Seaworld. There is also an HEB 2 mins from the hotel so we were able to grab our groceries just before checking in. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious! Tons of choices: Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, Pancakes, Oatmeal, Cereal, Yogurt, Muffins, etc.. We are hoping to stay here again if the price is right next time we are in San Antonio!

Great rooms and breakfast. Excellent for the price. Bed and shower are great. Lots of amenities and convenient.

Cleanliness was top notch, Checkin was not the best. One staff member was extra rude. I stayed on the second floor, by 8am, I could hear heavy footsteps running up and down the hall until checkout.

The room wasn’t clean. The linens were dirty. I asked clean linens was given full sized linens for a king bed. The bathroom was clean. This is by far the dirtiest Sonesta property I’ve stayed at

The space in the hotel was great however it wasn’t as clean as I wish it would’ve been.

Safety concern since the exterior doors do not lock. Access by non guest could be very easy.

Had a really weird smell in the room. But be careful as this hotel and surrounding area has had multiple cars broken into. Definitely recommend parking under a light and taking any valuables from your car. Also there are multiple signs stating the company will not be held responsible for break ins and don’t seem to be much help if a break in does happen.

Loved having 2 seperate rooms for us and our kids. Every room had a tv. Kitchenette with dining table was convenient so that we didnt have to go out to eat. HEB nearby. Perfect for our holiday visit to SA

Nice older place. The suite was great just might consider putting ventilation in the bathrooms. Suite was great, will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was also very good!

I really love staying at the place

The area was great and we liked that a lot of restaurants and stores were around the hotel. Breakfast was also outstanding, many choices and the lady in the kitchen area was nice and friendly. However, the lady at front desk was rude and never smiled. The room had roaches in the tub and the towels were dirty. The bed was also uncomfortable and the bed sheets had lots of hairs on them. Didn't complain because didn't want to argue with the girl at the front desk.

This hotel is always clean and quiet and everything works. It's a little old, which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I stay here often because my brother lives around the corner.And it's very convenient for visiting him. They're complimentary.Breakfast is better than a lot of other more expensive hotels. And no matter when I have to fly out to come back east, even in the wee hours of the morning, there is always somebody there to check you out promptly. And did I mention it's one of the more affordable hotels in the area

I was not happy with the service. The hotel does not clean room unless ypu request it. We did, and still, the room was not cleaned.

It was an OK stay!

It’s an older hotel and definitely needs some renovations. The AC keeps the rooms really cold. This hotel charges $7 per day for parking. The deposit is $100 on top of your total stay there. The pet fee is $75 per stay. Our rooms kitchen sink knob didn’t work we could turn it on but it stayed at the hottest possible setting. There were three TVs and only one remote to use between the 3. The breakfast was okay. There were a few ants in the cereal and they kept the cereal dispenses under bar area in banners where it was cleaned. The staff was rude and rushing everyone away from the food right before breakfast ended on Sunday.

Liked the look of property and interior were very well kept, also had a nice dining area. The room was very clean and spacious. Only issue was toilet seat was loose no biggie. Area around property was nice, just close to the freeway so got a lot of thru traffic from individuals on foot even at late hours.

No airport shuttle. Terrible location, sketchy. Far from airport.

My stay was relaxing & the staff were kind & helpful. Some complaints I have is one of the nightstands was dirty with what looked like old food. Also, there was a q-tip on the same nightstand. It just made me wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the room.

It's not a bad place. Although, it's a bit old and not much breakfast verities to choose from.

the property was clean, but they have the weirdest bathrooms that are very poorly designed. Very uncomfortable and unsanitary. Just because of that I will not stay at that property again.
