Great location for exploring Tokyo. Nice sized room for Tokyo. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, clean. Staff was super nice
Enjoyed this hotel, except the fact they did not allow children under 6yrs into hotel restaurant.
Quality
Environment caution and location is good.
The location of this property was great. The rooms were a tad small, but I think that is normal for central Tokyo. I would probably stay here again because the area felt safe and had a ton of options.
Nice size room. clean and quiet. Great service and anenities
This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel. Other than a mix up on my room reservation, which resulted in me having to stay in a different room, overall experience was good.
We stayed here for 4 nights after spending 10 days in Okinawa. We picked the hotel because it was only 2 blocks from the pickup location of two tours we were taking. It is also within walking distance of the Kabuki-za theater. We were not able to get tickets this time but look forward to the next time we are in Tokyo. The only thing we wish we had done differently is we would not have paid for the breakfast on the two days we had tours as the breakfast does not open until 7AM and we had to be at the pickup point at 7:20.
Great place to stay
All good
The reception area is not grand and looks more of a hostel, but the room I was given was comfortable enough from space for single person, the hot bath with orange salt was marvellous, the night gowns, slippers and toiletries are all very good. The soap is really almond smell. The breakfast was a bit chaotic but ok. The reception staff were great. They were all smiling and happy to assist any guests. It’s walking distance to anywhere including to my next hotel I moved into.
Great location. So convenient to stations, shopping, and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and decent size.
The room was pretty nice. Bed was big, comfortable and had a lot of pillows. The staff was very helpful and they can hold your bags when you check out at no cost which was awesome. Location is really close to hibiya and Asakusa lines, but also walkable to Ginza, Yurakucho and Tokyo stations. Would stay here again.
Great location in the Ginza area. Lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance. 15 minutes walk to the bus station where most tour starts. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly.
Great hotel. Very comfortable, quiet and well located. Staff were very good and attended to all requests. Rooms were comfortable, and the shower/bathroom was excellent. The hotel is walking distance 5-10 mins from 2 metro stops as well as the buzzy shopping area of Ginza. Family Mart store is conveniently located 2 mins walk.
Although warned that rooms were small, this room was exceptionally small with absolutely no drawer or closet space
Good location, beds, and shower. I’d rate it a 10 but they charge per hour for any checkout after 11 (you get 20 minutes free if you ask) and it’s already kind of an expensive place. Also skip the breakfast it looks better in the pictures than it is. Not worth 12 p/p per day.
This was my first time in Japan. The staff were amazing, and the hotel had everything you could need. The rooms were impeccable, and the location was very convenient to everything. The restaurant on the second floor had a wonderful Japanese breakfast that I'd highly recommend.
Very comfortable room with a lovely design. The staff were efficient and friendly. Excellent location to station and shops.
Close to Mitsukoshi and Ginza Station . Quiet hotel .
We liked everything about the property. Definitely will be back.
Had a quick one night stay in Ginza. Loved the staff. Hotel. Location was close to shops. And also very quiet.
Was a great location.
Great Location, Excellent Staff
Excellent location within easy walking distance of metro stations and vibrant Ginza but still fairly quiet which was a pleasant surprise. Very friendly and attentive staff. Does not have its own restaurant but is instead linked to a restaurant with a half buffet breakfast. Our twin room (for two of us) was snug as expected. It was comfortable and clean but a little bit worn.
Convenient location, everything is very close
Excellent, quiet location a very short walk to Ginza Train station. Room was small but still enough room to open suitcase and walk around.
Hotel location is excellent in the Ginza district. Lack amenities such as having a washer/ dryer in the room and an onsen/ sauna.
Nice hotel, good location
Nice hotel, good location.
Good
Nice clean and tidy hotel, close to train stations which made our trip more pleasant
We thought that the service was great, and the room was very clean and tidy. Location to the train station was also very handy, and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay close to Tokyo station and Ginza
Lots to eat and see!
Central location in Ginza, walking distance to shopping area but in a more peaceful and quiet area which we prefer. It's also walking distance to the Tsukiji Market. We got a Shiatsu massage that was a stone throw away. Room was comfortable and we got a fantastic view of the city on the top floor.
Well located in The Ginza
Well located hotel in the Ginza but very small room and not a good restaurant.
Great location near metro Ginza
The hotel it’s ok no clean room every day Service it’s ok. Great location. Breakfast for westerns so so
recommended
Great location.
Very friendly staff, room is a bit small but very comfortable. For two persons is fine. Loved the bathroom. The location is close to metro, located in one of the best neighborhoods in Tokyo. Lots os shops and good quality restaurants.
Staff was friendly and room very neat and clean, however a bit small for two. Location is ideal for anyone wanting to be close to the Ginza area. Highly recommend and will likely come back in future travels.
Solaria Nishitetsu is a small modern hotel in the center of Tokyo's Ginza neighborhood. It's in the middle of many excellent restaurants, department stores and shops, and is close to Tokyo Station. The next time my wife and I stay in Ginza, we will choose Solaria again.
Solaria Nishitetsu Ginza is an excellent choice for staying in the middle of Ginza, with its extensive shopping and dining options. The hotel is close to both the Ginza and Higashi-Ginza Metro stations, and also within walking distance of Tokyo JR Station. The rooms are small, as expected in Japan, but reasonably priced and comfortable.
Go-to Hotel in Ginza
Pros: 1) Location. In the heart of main Ginza shopping area, a few steps to metro station (Matsuya entrance) and Haneda Express station (Higashi-Ginza), surrounded by restaurants and convenient stores. 2) Staff - friendly, helpful, accommodating, fluent in English 3) Has a wall partition between room and bathroom. Other hotels have a glass partition. 4) Wheelchair-accessible—with a slope at hotel entrance and no steps in rooms/bathroom. Cons: 1) Cleanlinese - dusty shelves 2) Aircon not too cold
Excellent location near subway, Kubuki theater and Imperial Palace. Clean & quiet room. Staff helpful.
Hotel had great location and staff, not fancy, but very good for a reasonable price. The only minor negative was the fact that we could not open the setting area curtains and felt like a cocoon.
Rooms are small and a little outdated but it was still confortable and convenient
This Hotel is very fantastic very well situated everything is close. The personal of the hotel are kind and very helpful. Specifically at the front desk Sean Zokirov . I recommend this hotel 100%
The hotel is nice , convenient to shopping , restaurants and train stations. Staff are very nice and friendly. Highly recommended .
This is our second time going to this hotel, last time was in 2019 and a few things have changed. No longer are you given little plastic bottles of shampoo or individual soap bars. Amenities are downstairs and you can take what you need. Soap, shampoo are in large bottles, so only needs to be replaced as needed. I'm sure there's some cost cutting measures mixed in there, but I personally prefer this as it avoids clutter and cuts down on needless plastic. The hotel is still the same though with friendly staff (they now speak more English), clean and working facilities and very comfy beds. Also the hotel is located just a couple blocks from two major shopping areas for easy pick up of meals, one block away from two major convenient stores, many restaurants around and just a walk up the street to any subway (Tokyo Metro, etc) station. The walk to the JR station is much further, around 10 minutes, but still very doable! I will go definitely go back next year!
Nice hotel, small rooms - but normal size for Tokyo. I booked a smoking room (my mistake), so the smell wasn’t great.
A perfect stay, so accessible
Location is absolutely great. Just a brief walk from subway station and in the center of Ginga shopping area Staff is absolutely great. Japanese style mini room with great comfortable bed and luxury bedding. Shower and tub is awesome as in all hotels here. The hotel is a bit outdated and my need some small facelift in some areas, but in overall it is a great option for your stay. One things to remember when traveling to Japan and it is supper important: PACK LIGHT. Forget about large suitcases where you take most of your closet belongings on your journey. You will have trouble fitting into most places and moving around if utilizing trains and subways since all in Japan is very small.... Expendable carryon suitcase and a good backpack did all for me and should it in most cases for you....
Conveniently located in the heart of Ginza, close to several metro stations and lots of dining options. Restaurant at the hotel serves wonderful breakfast and the staff is amazingly helpful and polite. Beds are very comfortable and I would stay here again.
Good Service
Good hotel to stay in Ginza near several train lines. The rooms are clean and quite big. Staff is helpful.
Very good location
This was our second stay at Solaria Nishitetsu Ginza and we plan to book here again on our next visit. The location is perfect.
Solaria was in the perfect location and room for our first night in Tokyo. The team was very helpful from check-in to showing us amenities, storing luggage and umbrellas for the rainy day. Bathrooms were amazing and the bean pillows were a delight!
We like the location of the hotel which was excellent. Please provide a better pillow. The one we had was so flat and without much substance for a restful sleep. Thanks
Very clean, location and service
Very comfortable
Great hotel and location
Great location. Staff fabulous. Very comfortable
Great location, very clean, small room with a reasonable price . Recommended
This is my 4th time stying Solaria Ginza Nd they never disappoint me! So i Joined membership this time.
Excellent hotel, very clean carpets in room, nice size , excellent location and friendly and helpful reception. The only complaint and oddity I have is that the TV had not one English or French or anything programs just Japanese TV which seems disrespectful to the mostly tourist who stay that was so weird.
Location location. Excellent room and comfortable bed. Comparable to 4.5 * i stayed at other countries. Japanese worth ethics and cleanliness are on displayed here. Looking forward to stay again very soon. Thank you
Polite, friendly and efficient in great location.
Brilliant location. Amazing staff.
Highly Recommend
Hotel is conveniently located near Ginza station and an easy walk to Tsukiji market. It was great being able to swing by our hotel to drop off any shopping we did in the area. Hotel staff was great and very helpful in coordinating shipping our bags to our next hotel in a different city.
Good location for shopping
Good location for shopping. No gym is minus point. Public Area ( inside elevator ) was not clean all day. House man needed.
Close to Ginza shops and train stations.
Close to Ginza shops and train stations.
Nice room and amenities. Breakfast was nice. Clean hotel in Ginza area with lots of shops and restaurants plus close to the Tokyo station.
-
Dry nice and clean hotel. One of the nicest breakfast I had in Tokyo.
Very enjoyable stay excellent services
Excellent service. Nothing was too difficult. Generous amenities. Excellent location , much better than staying in areas such as Shinjuku. Quieter and yet surrounded by shops and restaurants.
Convenient location. Staff welcoming and helpful. Beds are a litle hard, but overall it was an excellent place to stay.
Great location. Helpful staffs. Clean rooms - good size by Tokyo standard. Will come back.
Quiet room, very clean. Delightful. Will stay again.
Clean and tidy. Located in major shopping area. Convenient access to tourist attractions.
Great medium size hotel in very convenient Ginza location but not on busy street. Close to metro stations. Staff very helpful. Breakfast choice of 4 set menu plus small buffet for drinks, breads, cereals, fruit and salad. Highly recommend staying here.
The room was very comfortable with a wonderful shower and tub. The staff were kind and attentive and the location good.
Only problem is in room refrigerator does not get very cold.
This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Ginza. Clean, modern, and easy to shop/dine around. Highly recommended!
top location, small room basic bkfst
small room and very limited breakfast, the rest was fine, location could not be better
Amazing staff and amenities. Easy access to major Ginza shopping area. Room is small but VERY FUNCTIONAL. Definitely coming back.
Location worked out great for us walking around Ginza district had lots of shopping and eating choices. The best food choice for us was Mitsubishi department store food court. I was surprised how English friendly the Ginza was. The hotel had excellent free WiFi could do my email and banking with ease. The most surprising amenity was the free cell phone usage provided by the hotel. International calls free.
The hotal is pretty good. Nice staff. Good facility. We asked the hotel did not need to clean our room, the hotel still give us all the new stuff.
Perfect central location in Ginza. Very close to the subways, restaurants and shopping. The rooms were small but very clean and bright!
good it was great, clean room, wide bed and so nice assistant
Great stay in Tokyo.
Great hotel in a great area. We had an excellent stay. Room is clean and nice. Hotel is close to great shopping areas with lots of eating places. The surrounding area is real clean and safe. Hotel staff is great.
Nice, clean and quiet room. Spacious by Tokyo standard. Friendly and polite staffs. Convenient location. Excellent stay.
Excellent location. Less than 5 min walk to 2 subway stations and 2 department stores. Friendly and helpful front desk. Nice clean rooms with bathtub.
Very friendly and safe to stay since you have to go through the front desk to go to your room.
Clean, quiet, comfortable at reasonable price
The hotel is conveniently located a minute away from Higashi Ginza station. Clean, quiet and comfortabke at a reasonable price. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
The room was clean and cool!!
Consistently good!
Solaria staff always offer warm welcome, helpful & engaging. Kept my luggage until return from Hokkaido travel! Have stayed many times before, will choose to come back in future.
Good location, very close to subway and shopping area
V well located clean and friendly hotel
To be fair we only stayed here one night to take our flight home. So we didn’t have opportunity to use any of the facilities. We arrived at 7pm and left next morning at 6am. Staff were very warm and welcoming. Room was v clean and v nicely decorated. They are small but as we were only there for one night it was fine. They had everything you could want (including spare toothbrush which came in handy as we left ours in Kyoto). And hotel is brilliantly located for Ginza and for the train to Haneda and Narita. Just a 4 min walk.
Well located for Department stores. Some nearby construction underway but this is Tokyo. Minimal intrusion,
Never improved . Not following the instruction from customer
Great spot - we walked there from Tokyo train station and walked to most places inc the fish market. Room was quiet, very clean and had everything we needed. Staff were polite but we were a little disappointed as they couldn’t help us make a restaurant booking as they could find the right phone number (even though it’s a popular one) and we ended up not getting in that night.
The staff was excellent and the rooms were very clean. They are fairly large by Tokyo standards. The breakfast menu was limited and slightly expensive.
We liked the amenities in our room. Top knotch products to use on hair and skin. Close proximity to the emperors palace as was thrilled by the profusion of cherry blossoms. Centrally located on a quiet street in Tokyo you can get away from the throngs of people on the main streets
The Ideal hotel
Top shelf customer service and ambiance. Front desk staff were alway friendly and helpful. Lobby lounge area was welcoming and nice. The amenities offered were incredible. Hotel room was lovely. So comfortable and clean. Very relaxing and quiet. I would love to stay here again.
