The fact that there are washer, dryer and dishwasher within each room makes it so convenient. The rooms are big, location very convenient and staff very responsive to requests. The 4 instead of 5 stars for condition was for the bathroom wash basin sink not draining very well.

We enjoyed our stay at Skye Suites. Very well equipped, clean, comfortable beds (queens). Close to everthing, but being in CBD means soms noise. immediate neighborhood a lttlle old and not too many people on that street, but a block a way was fine.

The unit was very roomy, the shower had excellent water pressure, and it was a very comfortable stay. Would love to stay again.

Outstanding central location and excellent service

From check in to check out the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Our stay started with Cameron, the front desk manager, getting us into our room a little early and after asking about where to buy some items he gifted us a welcome gift so we didn’t have to go out right away. Such a nice touch. The central location of the hotel cannot be beat. Near the tram, walking distance to the port and close to George Street, the main shopping and dining street. The room was spacious, well appointed and comfy. The mattress was a tad soft for us, but still comfortable, the wifi was great and tv channel choices good. If in Sydney again, we will definitely be staying here.

Perfect property for 2 couples spending 4 nights in Sydney prior to our New Zealand cruise. Front desk staff is excellent. Great location. I highly recommend SKYE Suites Sydney.

The property has a very beautiful lobby, but it was hard to locate there was no signage visible from the street and no numbers on the building. The check-in was good, the front desk employees were professional and attentive to our needs. The room was cleaned, but we had several issues with room telephone was not functioning, so they had to change the phones, and the stove top was not functioning properly. They did send someone; to assist but they were not the maintenance employee, advise they would not be on property until tomorrow, but no maintenance employee came the next day or any day doing our stay. The other issue, the quilt/linen that was change the 2nd day was dirty and had stains on them, we reported to the front desk. They sent housekeeping to immediately change out the linen. The overall stay at The Skye Suites was fair, do to those three issues. The last issue it appears that the front desk communication between employees is not occurring. We inquired on Feb 8, to the Front Desk about Car Services to the Sydney Airport for Feb. 9, the Front Desk employee I spoke with, advised they would contact us with the name and cost, but we never received a follow-up call from the Front Desk. so, we order an Uber for the morning, it appeared they had ordered the car service but did not advise us. So, we were getting ready to go to Airport, we receive a call from Car service that morning and Uber service, so we had an issue with the transport, due Desk not contacting us.

Excellent location, comfortable bedding, great amenities, the spa and pool were a real bonus. Though the room floor wasn’t vacuumed properly daily.

Check-in was a horrible experience. The couldn't find my booking then to be told I only had one night booked and had to show proof that I had 2 nights. No apologies as he couldn't find it. Then room key didn't work. came back down and he checks someone else in before fixing my key leaving us waiting in the lobby with a screaming baby

Good facilities and very close to pubs, cafes and shopping malls. Walking distance to most tourist places and public transport is easily accessible if needed. Highly recommended

Room and pool were nice, gym amenities were enough to do a workout with. It’s a futuristic/ modern hotel, definitely would recommend. If you want a 5 star hotel near Darling Harbour and Barangaroo this is your hotel

Loocation: Great location for easy walkability to everything. Approx 2 block walk to Darling Harbour. Stores and restaurants an easy walk. Property: Very quiet and clean. Its not a busy property. Room: We had a one bedroom that was very spacious and clean. In suite laundry and full kitchen. Everything was very clean. Would atay here again.

Everything is fine and very close to the heart of the city and the staff are very helpful. The room is clean and spacious feeling like staying at home.

Perfect location, so clean, spacious, amazing comfortable bed, great customer service. The only negative was that we arrived late around 9pm on a Tuesday and we couldn’t find a place to eat. We eventually stumbled on another hotel’s restaurant. I would highly recommend this property and would stay there again!

We enjoyed our four night stay in downtown Sydney. Our room was modern with a kitchen area, large tv, beautiful king size bed, washer/dryer and balcony. Pool and spa were enjoyed each evening. Plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Prior to visit we confirmed bed configuration for our child although upon arrival we found there to be no record and no bed. For the price bracket of this type of property not what I would expect. Great service from a staff member who worked with me and helped me out some foam top layer as a bee.

Excellent location, spacious rooms and efficient reception staff. The only things I would change is having a tv opposite the bed as well as in the lounge area. Also, the bathroom is quite small compared to the room size which is very spacious. I suspect this however, could be due to the original building structure?

Well designed and fully equipped our suite was spacious and comfortable. Soft bedding and comfortable bed. Everything was clean and the shampoo, conditioner and body wash was lovely The pool is stunning and the spa was very powerful. I also used the gym which was well equipped (tv was not working and there was no music but I’m sure if I asked someone would have helped). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Close to Darling Harbour and Wynyard train station. I will stay here again. Excellent

Excellent hotel and location

Love the ambience of the property. Staff service were warm and excellent. Had a power trip to my room close to midnight as I was running the washer, dryer and ironing (love the multi-tasking). Staff came up quick to help out with the situation. Will stay again!

Exceeds expectations

The studio room is anything but a studio. It's very spacious, well set out and has definite room configuration. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Checking in was a quick process. Bed and pillows are very comfortable.

I didn’t like the loud city noise at night, but that is expected on Pitt street on a weekend.

Perfect location between the centre of the CBD and Darling harbour.

Great staff . Streets didn’t feel too safe at back area after dinner hour. Limited Dining after 3PM. Reservations needed for nearby Pub. Transportation a few blocks away. If you’re mobile it’s doable.

Well situated for Darling Harbour and the Ferries. Very comfortable experience. Excellent range of equipment supplied (hob, microwave, dishwasher,fridge, washing machine, tumble drier, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, tv, etc.). Very friendly, helpful staff.

Quality accommodation and friendly staff

The staff were professional and kind. They took the time to handwrite a note and leave some beautiful little gifts for our weekend away. A lovely touch.

Good location, can walk to many shopping/Restaurants . We stayed on level 2 and it was super noisy through the night, can hear everything outside vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

The ambiance of the property is nice and the reception was also polite and quick. Having said that, they didn’t mention they have a cleaning schedule (light cleaning, light cleaning, full cleaning). Due to this our room ended up really dusty throughout our stay and gave me really bad allergies. There is no dining options with a small pool and an even smaller hot tub. To use the rooftop lounge you also have to be a resident and not a guest at the hotel. I had to switch to a Holiday Inn that treated me way better and had more amenities.

Great location

We recently returned to Skye Suites Sydney as part of our anniversary trip. Staff at reception were very friendly and our room was ready early for check in. I felt this stay the property wasn’t in quite as good condition as we’d previously experienced. Our room felt dark and smelt strongly of stale cigarettes. The pool/spa area is stunning, however the tiles in the spa are coming away and need replacing. Great location close to plenty of eating spots and walking distance to darling harbour. I felt the rooms are now a bit overpriced, having increased significantly since our earlier stays.

Had a lovely stay in a 2 bedroom apartment with family. Clean, modern, great location to get around Sydney. Would definitely stay there again.

Did not disappoint! Quality facilities Great

It really is as lovely as the photos depict. Beautiful comfy beds, spare pillows, fluffy towels, plenty of toiletries, welcome pack of teas and coffee and the coffee machine a bonus. Everything you need is provided from the washing powder for the washing machine to the dish washing detergent. Front desk staff were super helpful especially when one of our party had to return home early with the exception of one guy who could not guarantee a taxi ETA for our flight until I requested a private taxi, this should be offered in any event and if refused then the public taxi service provided. The standard of cleanliness needs improving as there were debris left over from the previous occupant by the bed such as a big toe nail clipping-yuck! The Taylor Swift attendee staff member was just as excited as her fans and cooling drinks and sweeties provided by the hotel, very thoughtful. Would have loved to have a roof bar and cafe on site to take advantage of the views of the bay, other than that a fantastic stay.

Nice stay local easy

Great room, staff super helpful and friendly. Only issue was given it was an apartment i would have expected a frypan. Also all microwaves are different, some operating instruction and situation at above ankle height would be good!

Swiftie stay

Sydney with my daughter for Taylor Swift. From the moment we arrived, staff were incredible, kind, excited for us, extra touches all the way to make it a complete experience beyond the concert. central to everything, highly recommend

Very nice hotel and in great location that is near all the shopping!

From start to finish this property delivered exactly what I needed. Arrived mid morning and was able to check my bags in while my room was being prepared, check in was not until 3pm and it was 9:00am. Front desk was happy to accommodate and even took my phone number incase the room was ready before the 3pm check in time. Also locked my bags up for me, not before offering a shower and changing room so I could enjoy my first day in Sydney. When the room was ready my bags were waiting for me in my room and the room was modern and very clean and tidy. Room was right off of elevator that brings you straight to the street access(with room key to enter/exit, felt very safe). Would definitely recommend to family and friends, little bit of a walk to the Harbor/Opera House but was very well located so you pass by great restaurants and shops! Top of my list for the Sydney hotel scene! Thank you and I will be back!

It was spacious enough and loved the verandah. Also proximity to everything was so good and only took a few minutes to cbd for shopping and great for local restaurants and cafes.

Great hotel, urban vibe, room was very clean and lots of room, other than the tiny bathroom! Wonderful pool and very attentive and polite staff. Would recommend and stay again.

Wonderful stay! The apartment was modern and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping staff were great as were the staff at the front desk. The extras such as dishwasher and laundry powder made it easy to feel right at home. Great location, I could walk everywhere. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, too much air freshener

Overall the stay ended up being ok however when we checked into the room it had been sprayed with so much air freshener that myself and family couldn’t breath, it was even sprayed on the beds. I have asthma and it caused an attack, it also caused my son to get a headache and we could all taste it in our mouths. My husband is not usually sensitive to smells however even he was feeling sick due to the extreme amount used. At first they had no solution due to having already checked everyone else in. They simply said that they could refund us our money and we could find somewhere else to stay. When they could see I was visibly upset due to us having dinner for my Sons birthday in a few hours they offered to change the sheets and put a deodorising machine in the room. This did help greatly and am very grateful a solution was provided. I don’t often write reviews however I know that I am not the only one who does not respond well to high amounts of toxic synthetic fragrances and wanted to give my honest feedback so perhaps the hotel might be aware that not everyone is able to tolerate this.

Very pleased with the room and customer service.

My stay was ok but it should have been amazing. The hotel is in a great location. Walkable to most of the tourist sights. Very close to Darling Harbour where you can catch boats to other locations. Close to shops and restaurants. The room has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette is a bonus as means you can make drinks and get food to eat in if shattered after a busy day sightseeing. The problem I had was my bathroom floor was filthy. I spilt some water on the floor, and when I wiped it up the towel/tissue were black. The place where I had wiped was then a different colour to the rest of the floor so could see how dirty the floor was. I was out all day so didn’t get to report this straight away. I reported it on my second night there and the gentlemen on the desk (sadly i didn’t get his name) was rude. He made no attempt to apologise for condition. Simply said he was on his own and would let house keeping know. I appreciate he was on his own so limited action he could take but his attitude was lousy. I said I would clean it myself but he said he couldn’t access any cleaning equipment. When I handed him the dirty tissues he just laughed. I felt awful after my walk with him. The dirty floor left me with no confidence about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. The floor was cleaned the next day. But as a public holiday the rest of the room wasn’t so still not sure how clean the room was. I will say the rest of the staff were very nice

Very convenient CBD location, close to Darling Harbour attractions, rail and tram routes, theatres and key shopping outlets. Efficient house cleaning and prompt house keeping. Great pool with warm spar. Our third visit - valet parking service very good too.

This property is just fantastic. I’ve been visiting Sydney 1-4 times per year for 14 years and struggled to find a place that fully met my needs until I stayed at Skye Suites for the first time in 2022. I’ve just finished my third visit and have no complaints. The location is great, the beds comfortable, the curtains are block-out, the rooms are fitted with microwave, fridge, hob, washer and dryer, and are stylish to boot. The staff is exceptional - always friendly and attentive. It’s my home away from home.

We stayed in 2bedroom suite. Everything was excellent but it would've been great if our rooms were vacuumed daily. Only bathrooms and sheets were cleaned. Great location, great and friendly staffs. Would stay here for next visit for sure!

Clean, modern and luxurious hotel

We recently returned to Skye Suites for the 4th time as we love this hotel so much! Once again, the hotel was lovely and clean, reception staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel is in an excellent location. They noticed it was my birthday on the day we checked in, and a staff member came to our room and set up a lovely card and bottle of wine. Very thoughtful touch. Pool and spa was warm and clean. Only issue was we heard a bit of elevator noise from our room, however have never noticed this in other rooms. Will definitely be returning again :)

This property was great for a short stay, on arrival the admin checked us in well, he did say though that the pool closed at 7 and when we came back one night from dinner at 8 there was people at the pool and when i researched it said 10pm this was our last stay for the night so was a bit of a waste and we would of liked to stay in the spa for a little bit each night knowing even if we got back a little later. Spa was definitely not Spa Tempreture, was only a little bit warmer than the pool and Jets were so powerful that it was not enjoyable and being visbale to the Lobby made it very uncomfortable for people checking in. In the room there was no robe provided so going down to the pool was a issue as i had to take clothes. Would of loved a tv visable to the bed, they never stocked up on the amenites like Tea or coffee. Bed was very comfortable, great pressure shower, Rooms always got cleaned no matter what time of day but shame there was no room service, water was not free in the room and had to pay for water. Cleaning Service trolleys were right outside room door and looked unprofessional. Tv was a great size and accessible to all apps like Disney, Netflix, Foxtel Etc. We were also told that its $60 a day for parking at the closest parking so when we stayed overnight (no more than 15 hours) and checked out from the Wilsons Carpark to see it say $170 was quite disappointing because we would of just paid for Valet Parking then.

Skye suites are wonderfully located for access to local transport and walkable to popular city locations. The rooms are great, spacious and comfortable. My only comment is the lack of clothes storage, if you are staying for a week and want to unpack you have to get creative with kitchen cupboards! Staff were wonderful and the suites smell fantastic.

The service at check in was great, very personable and it was fast. Liked the property location as it is pretty central to everything. I did find the bedrooms to be quite small but overall happy with stay.

I like this property as it is well maintained, very clean and has a nice ambience. The location is between Wynyard and Town Hall and hence particularly good for business trips

Staff was extremely helpful, when our luggage didn't make our flight; the staff offered us tooth brushes and tooth paste and anything else we needed while waiting for our luggage. Always kind and thoughtful

I cannot say enough nice things about our stay here. The employees go out of their way to help. The rooms were very clean and nice. We only stayed one night but if you are staying longer they have a kitchenette and washer/ dryers. Again i have to say the service was excellent.
