Great location and staff even better. We had a great stay. We will be going back.
A great London mainstay with lovely rooms, great bar and very generous Club Lounge facility. Super staff too - very friendly.
a great stay, only one issue
Super noisy place
Super noisy room, stayed a week and there was construction going on in the rooms next door, super laud and the bathroom pipes in the room made noise as well! The room was close to the service elevator and the staff was constantly banging the door towards it and staff kept talking super laud in that area as well, we stayed in the hotel 3 times, but this was definitely the last time. I addressed the issues 2 times with the staff, but nobody seams to care or offer any help. This is not equal to a 5 star hotel at all anymore, really poorly handled. Bottom line if you want to enjoy your stay and sleep peaceful, stay away from this hotel!!!
beautiful hotel and great location
the place is beautiful, and a great location! the entire staff were exceptional! i would stay there again in a heartbeat! the only minor issue were the elevators, but that was exceptionally minor.
Great Location, room size was average to small. Very expensive for a 4 star hotel.
Great stay!
Amazing hotel, centrally located , loved it!
Broken telephone plus broken alarm clock ( went off every hour or 2 all night long
Great location.
The Sheraton Grand is in an excellent location. The staff are very professional. Our room was spacious, well presented and clean. We chose the B&B option, the breakfast is very good but the breakfast room can be quite busy (as you'd expect on a Saturday morning). The lifts are a little annoying as they are scattered around the reception area and it is never clear which one will be the next to arrive. Our room looked over the alleyway between buildings and therefore the only view was of the AC ducting of the building opposite. I'm fairly sure I could hear mechanical noises coming from this alley for most of the night. The hotel adds a 5% service charge to the bill which appears to be coming more common. I'm not a fan but didn't argue this. We'd definitely stay here again but look to get a room in a different location.
A catalogue of poor service even before we arrived. Wrong rooms booked. Not connecting as promised. No rollaway bed. Room service didn’t turn up. TVs didn’t work. Keys didn’t work. Telephone didn’t work. Toilet was faulty. Reception ignored us when reporting issue with room. Maintenance came at midnight to fix fault. Just not what I expected from a five star hotel as a platinum member.
Bad Hotel review
Unfriendly, unprofessional staff. I was told that because I’m staying 7 nights , I got the room with no view and the last one from the elevator. They made me wait an hour before I got checked in .
Absolutely wonderful staff!
The service and accommodation and facilities were very nice
We enjoyed our stay
Staff very good. I left valuables in the safe and they were quick to contact me so I could return.
Average and our top floor room was so drafty.
London has many oustanding hotels. I stay at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane because of the people. The staff is exceptional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend the hotel to both business travelers and vacationeers without hesitation.
The entire staff is exceptional.
Elevator
Everything was more than I expected instead of the elevators in the hotel was to scary and all the time not working.
Great place. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent location.
Customer service was really poor, except for the car park attendant! Not a world class hotel but perhaps typically English with unbothered lazy staff. We wanted a cup of coffee and we were told to go from one restaurant to another, to only be told in the 3rd place that the coffee machine had broken down.
Thank you so much to the wonderful team at the Sheraton Grand who made my wife’s ‘big’ birthday weekend celebrations so enjoyable for us and our two children. The beautiful bottle of champagne and card from the staff when we got into the room was a lovely touch which showed us how we’d absolutely made the right decision to return for such a special weekend. Thank you so much, we’ll never forget our experience this weekend.
The entire staff was excellent - the Bellmen, dining staff, reception staff and concierge did EVERYTHING possible to make our stay special. Location is convenient with shopping and dining within walking distance. A bit pricey but I would definitely return.
The staff was very helpful.
Beautiful ❤️🙏
The room size was small and the photos made it look bigger. The shower door did not seal properly so the water leaked into the washbasin area though we did not complain about this as we were there just for 2 nights. Overall pleased as location is excellent
Excellent location and service
Superb Sheraton!
Superb hotel, staff and location - rooms are gorgeous! Highly recommended 👍
Great property
Overall very good
We prepaid for two rooms, neither was available when we arrived. We had to find another property to stay at for the duration of our stay. No refund was issued for the unavailable rooms
We had a great stay at this hotel. Great location, great service, comfortable beds! What else can you ask…
at the reception they didn’t serve us well - they saw that we were with a small child and gave a room next to the elevator it was very noisy, they didn’t say that it was included, but in general the hotel is excellent, the location is perfect
Few amenities for the bathroom. Poor lightning in the bathroom. Sockets for the electronic chargerrs were a little old and not up to date
Realty excellent experience
Great breakfast and location
Great breakfast and location
Great location. Walkable everywhere. Close to restaurants, pubs and top attractions.
Excellent location ! Service and food
Pity about the bathroom
Only thing that was disappointing was the bathroom. No heating. Very little water pressure.
Location is excellent. Service is outstanding.
Would love to see elevators running more efficiently.
Nice location. All personnel polite and helpful. It’s an older building so room configuration can seem a bit unique. Club lounge is worth the upgrade. Two negatives are the hotel has issue with wifi. Apparently an ongoing issue. The second is Water pressure is very low.
Location, Location, Location
Great Hotel and great location
Well worth it!
Lack of help in emergency
The room was small. I don’t as expecting a bigger room. Front desk could be more helpful. Also Hotels.com team Sid not help me with cancellations when I had a medical emergency. Neither did the hotel help. It was very stressful to deal with both.
Lovely central hotel.
Great location and good service. Bit expensive but it is central London.
Service at reception especially was awful
Perfect location. Wonderful staff.
Staff are great, the lobby is nice however the room and especially the bathroom are very old and outdated
Fantastic location; beautiful hotel; friendly helpful staff. Will stay again 😊
Need urgent refurbishing
Lovely hotel and great location! Friendly courteous staff!
friendly staff. Old tv system. Housekeeping service needs improvement
Sad
Evening menu at palm court not very nice had to ask for the three course pre show.dinne. Prosecco drinks had to returned three times as they were flat. Seating in palm court uncomfortable for eating dinner and no lighting to se menu.
Staff in the bar were good but received and incorrect bill. Checking out something had been added that was not ours so got it removed. Receptionist had to get our bags. Still waiting on my invoice which was meant to be sent. Clean hotel excellent location but for the price was not up to standard
Breakfasts terrible
Pet friendly hotel.
We stayed with our dog. A great pet friendly hotel with all the staff loving the arrival of our dog. Very polite and friendly staff. Room on the small side but for the 2 of us and our cavapoochon dog was fine.
The best thing that happened by far was meeting Galal the front desk Manager who was kind enough to upgrade me to a nicer room free-of-charge, and consistently checked in with me to make sure I had everything I need throughout my stay. Highly appreciate his professionalism and his dedication to customer satisfaction. I highly advise staying at this hotel and make sure to get in touch with Galal for any issues that need to be addressed. Top notch guy
Lovely for family or alone
Beautiful hotel, lovely staff. Great for kids. My little one was treated with so much love and the little teddy dog was highlight of his stay.
We got locked out our room for
Great place to be with the Coronavirus scare.
Beautiful property, Centrally located, the word "Grand " does apply. Reception Staff, extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful, and as. a note - Loved the bedding / Incredibly comfortable.
Loved the art deco style of the hotel, decorated perfect for Christmas and very clean.
Great!! Love the hotel and staff. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay again!
The toilet was running water continually during the night keeping me awake. I was unable to contact any department by telephone during the night to inform them. Reported it in the morning with very little response!
Don't go to concierge!
Hotel, location and condition is nice but Concierge service is pretty non existent!! For a hotel of this caliber is disappointing. During our four night stay we asked them for taxis multiple times and hardly ever taxi was there on a timely manner. They couldn't help much with restaurant reservation.
Loved it!
Everything was just fabulous
All staff are friendly & accommodating. They answer all questions asked.
Very nice Hotel, my son and I enjoyed our 1 night stay
Room was great. Modern, up to date & very clean. Great & well thought out facilities.
Good experience.
It was a good experience, love the location, love the room. The downside was "noise" coming, and I am only guessing here, from the elevator near my room, that was going on all day to be honest and was irritating. Staff are nice and helpful, room was clean. I only wish the housekeeping give more attention of what the room needs while making it up.
Stay was very good. Attentive personnel and very clean. Very nice rooms.
great hotel, located in one of the best neighbourhoods of London.
Disappointing.
Service poor - no sense of urgency from staff to help. Stayed in a superior room - corridors had hoovers and sheet carts permanently. No need. In the evening and the morning corridors smelt of weed - very strongly. Breakfast was poor - fantastic friendly omelette chef, but had to seek out coffee and tea as no-one was serving. Observed a customer arriving for breakfast at 10.45 turned away, closed at 11.Waited for 15 minutes at empty concierge desk - despite alerting reception to need to see someone.
Great location. Minutes from tube station. One is in Mayfair to begin with also walkable to Soho.
Even for London this hotel is old, tired, uncleanly. The room I thought I reserved was no where near the room I was given. Completely disappointed. If there were a minus 5 rating I would give the Sherston Grand Hotel Park Lane a negative 5.
Lovely hotel across from Green Park. Friendly staff, check in could have been better. Receptionist confused us about the room. We thought we wouldn’t have a window!!! Other than that one incident our stay was wonderful. Highly recommend.
Great hotel to stay at. Will do it again soon in London
Toilet in room was broken. Absolutely refused to move us. Tried fixing it but it continued malfunctioning over the length of our stay. Very unhappy with the situation.
Good location, not so great service
This hotel is in a great location and is very clean. However, when we got there the two rooms for our family were not ready until after 6:30 pm and one of the rooms was not the room we had reserved and prepaid - very disappointing. The front desk was extremely overwhelmed and not very organized. The rest of our stay was very nice and the hotel breakfast is good. However, I really don’t feel this hotel is a 5 star hotel.
I arrived to check in the hotel at 6:30pm and was informed the room was not ready. The reception staff attitude was terrible and just asked us to wait. Finally we were offered a room next to the lift which we could hear the machinery noise whenever the lift ran up or down. Sleepless night for 2 days!
Check-in delayed by 90 mins as the hotel's IT systems were down - not ideal after a 40 hour trip across the world. Room was noisy, next to a service corridor that seemed to be regularly accessed throughout the night and early morning. Plumbing from neighbouring rooms / floor above was exceptionally loud. Raised this with Reception who said they would investigate, but then I heard nothing more during my three night stay.
Location was ideal, rooms were clean and staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast options in the morning were great. Room was a little small but to be expected for London
Great location More staff required in the private lounge
Fortunate to be on the 2nd floor - as we did not use the elevator. Elevator was very slow. CONCEIRGES were GREAT!
Weekend break
A slightly disappointing 5 star. Our first room had damage to wardrobe doors and plaster chipping off corner of walls. Staff did move us not because this was our complaint but because our booking had said our room would have a bath which this room did not. After showing this confirmation to staff on reception they reluctantly gave us an upgrade. This next room was not ready until 6.30 pm which was an inconvenience to us.Only once we settled into our room did our luggage get dropped off even although we had stated earlier in the afternoon that we would like our luggage to be moved to this new room Throughout or two night stay there were always trolleys in our corridor creating an impression of untidiness. On the day of departure housekeeping knocked on our room door waking us up once at 9.30 am and later at 10.30 check out is 12.00 noon. This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and in a great location. I did not feel it lived up to a service of excellence. .
Liked location. I thought there should be a pool given the price per night.
Art deco decoration but a bit dark, rooms adequate and staff pleasant
Perfect location
Small room but great service, friendly staff, amazing location, and lots of in house dining options.
Terrible housekeeping service follow through. Frayed towels...forgotten trash left in bins. No evening room check or turn down given even when requested. Dirty glasses left in the room for 2 days!
The location is perfect, walking distance of a lot of places
Perfect location. Very clean. Top notch service all around.
The hotel was beautiful and in a great location! The staff was very helpful, we had a lot of questions since it was our first time in London. We would definitely stay again!
Very nice hotel, check in process was very easy and smooth. Hotel is within walking distance to Buckingham Palace and many more places in London. We only had 24 hours in London to explore for the first time and this made it extremely easy to go out and see the beautiful city.
This hotel made our experience so much better! Very polite! I will definitely go back when i come back to London
Very clean property, excellent bedrooms, would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is very close to an underground station, Green Park, Buckingham Palace, and Hyde Park. We contacted them before arrival and they provided us a crib for our 20 month old son which was very comfortable and safe.
Walking distance from Green Park, Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, and West End Theaters. Great location, recently remodeled rooms and a great breakfast offering/

Not up to the usual standard.
I would like to take a moment to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at The Sheraton, which, unfortunately, did not meet the high standards we have come to expect from your establishment during our numerous visits over the years. While the accommodations booked (one room for my wife and me, and another for our two children) were satisfactory, we encountered a few issues that detracted from our overall experience. Firstly, although we were located on the second floor, the noise from a party on Saturday night disrupted our peace, with music audible until nearly one in the morning. Additionally, upon returning from an evening out, I was informed at the Palm Court that I could only order a double whisky, which was surprising, as I have previously enjoyed single servings during past visits. After some discussion, I was ultimately permitted to order a single, but the experience felt unnecessarily prolonged, particularly given the premium price of £162 for a 50ml double. Moreover, breakfast on Sunday morning was notably below the usual standard we have experienced. We waited nearly 20 minutes for hot food, as it appeared the kitchen had run out, despite the fact that we were dining well within service hours. Overall, our visit felt somewhat lackluster, which is disappointing considering our history with your hotel. This may merely reflect a current downturn in service, and I remain hopeful that these issues will be addressed moving forward
