Hotel stay was excellent! Taxi service from hotel not so good! Highway robbery! No reflection on the hotel though!

The stay at your facility was very pleasant and comfortable, your services was convenient and efficient. However I stayed at room 1038 and there was 3 inconveniences that I feel must be corrected to maintain your impeccable reputation. 1. Wind was whistling in through the window frame which was very noisy at night during high winds. 2. Construction work was very noisy. 3. A shower door or curtain needs to be installed for comfortable worry free use of the shower.

The conditions of the room i got was very poor. The level of humidity was extreme. The clothes felt wet at touch. Expensive for the value. Not breakfast included. Old towels. Too bad. Location and views are great. But won’t return until they renew or restore the rooms.

Wow what an experience Luxury at its finest, a 5 star hotel & the service was resilient, accommodating & extremely kind I’m very happy. Can’t wait to be back in Buenos Aires so we can stay at our “home”.

The hotel is getting a bit tired, the rooms and carpets could do with refurbishing and the pool is looking dated and in need of a makeover too

The service was great. The actual facility looks a bit tired, especially the room. Great location close to the domestic airport.

The Club Lounge is really only a cafeteria style room. Food was adequate, but no lounge chairs or area. Just tables with chairs to eat. No ambiance or nice view.

The room was always too cold

This hotel needs a cosmetic update. Rooms and corridors are dated and drab with unpatched repairs. Staff were helpful. it was good for my purposes -a safe place to stay for a quick layover after a long flight. Little ambiance though.

The restroom was not clean

Very nice hotel. Several bell hop at the entrance ready and willing to help with anything. Almost everyone speaks some English. Room was clean and big. Two toilets. After running a bath I noticed the water had a tint of brown in it. Heated adult pool. Spa was nice. Restaurant was great with lots of choices. The young boy in the gift shop is very pleasant and knowledgeable. He offered us a lot of tips for around town. Everyone here from the bell hops to housekeeping were very pleasant. There is a sketchy area across from the hotel that we were warned about. No problems for us. Highly recommended to stay here.

It was an OK place to stay. We have been members of Marriott rewards programs for more than 20 years and have stayed in many Marriott hotels worldwide. This will not stand out in our memories, it was OK but nothing memorable. We do want to mention one staff member who was exceptional in his kindness and prompt problem-solving: Carlos, from the engineering department. Kudos to him for his help sorting out the AC immediately.

Recommended hotel near to Florida Street and the p

We recommend the hotel because is very near to Florida street and the Buenos Aires port. Service of the hotel and restaurants are very good

Very nice, with some minor cons

Pros: location, view, service, value for money Cons: extra $$ for small things (serving of cheese on pasta, early morning breakfast box), dated bathroom fixtures, shower curtains

rooms ok, a bit musty.....left something in room and the management just didnt care to even answer about what we left behind...horrible customer service

Chose this hotel before a cruise. It is about a 5 minute drive to the terminal. It is within walking distance to Florida Street which has many shops, including souvenirs. The breakfast is decent, nothing spectacular. The reception desk was very friendly, but hostess at restaurant, not so much. Overall, a good choice for cruisers.

Good hotel

The location is good; lobby, restaurant and bar are great. However, the room is dated and needs to be updated. The water was yellow when shower was started; it needed to run a few minutes before it cleared out. For the price I paid, I expected better room amenities.

Wonderful breakfast included with stay. Convenient to Hop On bus route for touring the city. Lovely facility although room needed some updating which is happening with current renovations.

Our stay at the Sheraton was very friendly and exactly what we needed! This was a special space as it is perfect for families! I completely recommend it as it has wonderful staff and amenities!

Old rooms

Hotel is very dated, it’s a step back into the 80’s.

Arrived early, around noon (totally get it) and kept being told to check back in an hour. Finally by 4:30 our room was ready. Hotel is nice, the room was a bit dated, but comfortable. Pool and fitness areas are fantastic! Service at the pool bar left much to be desired.

The room conditions were very aged and in poor repair !!

The pool was really nice. Our room was very dated with the bathroom looking like it was in need of repair. There was peeling paint, a cracked vanity top and the bathtub had curious stains in it. We talked to the duty manager who said she would do something but nothing was done. Check out was horrendously slow. We just wanted a copy of our room statement but I stood in line for about half an hour while they only took people from their premium line. I finally gave up and walked away The other line could have been left for hours for all I know. The food in the restaurants was good and the service was friendly and prompt

HUMILIATING STAY AT SHERATON BUENOS AIRES

Feb. 5, 2024, my wife and I checked-in this hotel after embarking from 17- day South America & Antartica cruise. It took us almost an hour to check-in even though there was short line of people checking-in. It was pass 1:00 PM. Room key was not provided and have to wait until 2:50 to get our room key. Our room reservation is for king size bed and they gave us 2 twin size bed. The guy with a pony tail hair who help us is rude and barely speak English. I would like to mention that our reservation includes breakfast. Feb. 6 2024, my wife and I were resting in the lobby after a half day tour of Buenos Aires. We were seating separately. About half an hour later, a security guard, who barely speak English came to me and asked me if I stay in the hotel, which I said yes and continued reading the news from my cellphone. About 15 minutes later, I was surrounded by 4 burly security guards, including the Director of Security who suspected me of trespassing to the extend of harassing me and showing me out to the door even though I already showed them my room key. These guards also disrespected my wife as I was about to seat with her. This harrowing experience was only diffused when I demanded to talk to the hotel manager, whom she came after a few minutes. This is the most humiliating, disgusting experience in all of our travel in 65 countries around the world. Breakfast is disgusting, preparation of food is unsanitary. The staffs preparing the food use bare hands. NOT RECOMMENDED

Was an overnight stopover

Property needs renovations especially guest rooms, bathrooms doors, and tub area.

Beautiful hotel. But didn't feel safe walking places from it.

A very good hotel. Convenient to get to the cruise terminal. Good service. The rooms are little dated but still ok.

Once a very nice property but now very much requires updating and facelift. Worn carpets, mold in bathroom, bathroom doors cracked and rotting, taps and faucets loose, arm chair springs and cushion seat worn out, drapes torn... then rude servers in lounges... would not stay there again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended and arranged our dinner and show. Transportation was also arranged.

Unfortunately it’s tired and needs to be refurbished. Carpet is dirty, left our feet black. Not something I would have expected for the price paid.

My stay

Everything about the hotel was phenomenal. The staff the lobby food & bar, ease & comfort, the cleanliness, the swimming pool and the location made my stay ideal... I highly recommend it, whether for business or pleasure, everything worked out perfectly...

The room I got had an outdated bathroom and the wifi did not work in the room until They repaired the router serving my room the second day. The restaurant was great and the staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Loved our over all experience!

Loved the location, we could walk to so many areas. The staff was very attentive and polite. The overall main shared areas were very clean and bright. The room we were in however needed a little TLC but still quite comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was out of this world amazing.

Convenient location and does what it needs to. Updating of the rooms would be welcome!

We stayed at the Sheraton in January 2020 and again in March 2023. The property is close to local restaurants and to the train station and the port which is what interested us. I would recommend this location as the staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and provided all of the amenities we were looking for.

Hotel and rooms overall very nice. Complicated check in, could not order anything at the pool and charge it to the room.

I stayed 2 different times during one week, both times my check-in was difficult ;went up to my room to find I couldn’t open the door and had to go back down to reception again): very loud wind tunnel, had to sleep with white noise on from my phone; tv did not work properly (very fuzzy screen); no coffee in the room

They had issues with internet nad I had a very important meeting to attend on line and missed it... I try to get an early chech in as I was going to stay for 7 hours at the hotel and they did not considered it...

Lovely hotel in a great location. All hotel staff helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfy.

We arrived just after midnight, tired and hungry. A staff member met us at the door took our luggage and welcomed us to the hotel. When we got in we saw a huge line at the reception desk. A group of young people had just arrived before us. This staffer said to wait a moment, then he took us around the line up to the far side where we were met with another young gentleman who checked us in, and within 5 minutes we were in our room, accompanied to the room by the first gentleman and told that we could order room service at any time. This man went out if his way to be kind to two old ladies, spoke English and made a huge impression on us. I would recommend this hotel very much. Thank you.

Beautiful architecture and so well maintained.

It was too far from the airport would be the only thing I didn't like about it. Everyone was nice, friendly, and helpful.

The staff was most accommodating. We had a flight delay and we’re able to stay an additional night with no hassles. Our room was very spacious and clean.

Never made it to property. Tried change dates through Expedia but unable to navigate broken system. Got several messages saying system not working. Will not use Expedia again. Staff at Hotel did everything they could

The property was very dated. Original room I was provided (executive) was near the lift and faced the back. I could hear the cables from the lifts and trains passing by. Fortunately my room was changed. Carpets are old and bathrooms have not been renovated in years. Staff was very friendly, which is the only reason I do not assing terrible on all the ratings.

The location of the property was good and the staff was very helpful and courteous throughout the stay. The only difficulty was parking for guests as convention parking did not leave spaces available in the garage.

The hotel lobby is lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. The pool area is okay. Location was not my favourite but could work for others. The downside to this hotel is the road noise. It is very loud day and night. Unfortunately our room had no hot water. On day 2 I reported it to the front desk. After two hours of sitting around waiting for a solution we left for the day. Came back at night to find it was not fixed at which time I demanded a new room immediately. Staff did accommodate us at this point. I was disappointed there was not more effort made to rectify this more quickly. No refund or credit given. No upgrade. No good credit. I stayed in 3 hotels in BA in the two weeks I visited and this one I was not impressed with.

Great Hotel

GREAT HOTEL! in the center of BUENOS AIRES.

Room needed updating (carpets, furniture, bathroom). Wouldn't recommend this property.

The room was very bland and colorless - almost depressing. The room and carpet needed updating. They had fake news CNN but not FOX News. Very few English speaking channels. You turn the TV off at night and the next day when you turn it on, you have to wait at least 5 minutes for it to warm up before you could get a picture.The convenience store closed too early, so we never got inside, but looked like it didn't contain much. The room had a desk, but there was no light for it. So, at night, the desk became, basically, useless. The beds were comfortable and the view was very good. The hotel is nicely located. The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful. The bar was very, very nice. Breakfast was good, but would have been better if we had known that we could have ordered an omelette. We found that out on the last day just after we had eaten breakfast.

the Club lounge was great, my experience was fantastic. Just add salon to the spa, like manicure and pedicure service. ALSO KIDS club can be welcomed, something to can play in the middle of the city. There is space to do a play area for the little ones.
