Resort was beautiful and conveniently located to all activities

We loved our time at Serenades. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the food, the drinks and the lounge areas near the pool and beach. We would definitely book again!

Wonderful on all fronts

The resort is nice, the pools and beach were not terribly busy so you can find a lounger. Staff were pleasant. The food selection and quality were average as were the drinks. If you like quiet this is a good place to come.

I will start with my cons: 1. Our greeting upon arrival was not welcoming. Our check in person was not friendly and I sensed he was getting annoyed that I could not understand what he was asking at times. This is my 6th all-inclusive experience and the ONLY ONE that we did NOT receive a WELCOME DRINK. 2. The resort lost power several times. Mostly during the night, but then we were left with no air or fan to sleep. They corrected it within an hour, but we noticed it. 3. We had the master suite that had a large jacuzzi on the balcony. On our first morning I received a call at 5:00 am that asked me to check my jacuzzi as they said it was leaking. We did not use it. My husband got out of bed and confirmed that it was not us. He could hear that our neighbors had a terrible sound coming from their balcony. Again, our sleep was interrupted. 4. I was looking forward to using the rain shower. I did have a hot shower on the first day. I never could get hot water in that shower again for the rest of the trip. We had two bathrooms and the other shower was hit or miss with hot water. 5. The master suite was big, but the decor was tired. 6. We could use the family side, but did not have access to their schedule without going over there to view it. The pros: 1. The food was very good and a good variety. 2. Pools were clean and umbrellas for everyone! 3. Piano bar had good singers/instrumentalist every night. Overall - we enjoyed our stay but this resort has some issues to work on!

The resort is absolutely stunning! The buffet was excellent; so many options and great quality food. The restaurants were also very good except for the French, very small portions and just not to our liking. The drinks were delicious and the service was excellent. Although the beach itself is beautiful, there is no separation from the family side and there are constant people trying to sell you things so it's not relaxing at all. The resort itself is not huge and everything is very walkable so it's nice not to have to wait for a trolly to get anywhere. Overall a lovely vacation and we will definitely be returning!

The waiters like Alejandro and the Restaurant manager David Yan are very nice , friendly and great. Wonderful staff at the lobby and the bars. The pool bar is 👌👌👌. Will definitely come back.

I like how each worker try so hard to help everyone. I didn't like that the hotel was under staff. also that all the Restaurant will open one day and the next day don't.

The food was good overall, lots of choices. Italian restaurant could be revamped.

It is a good fit for those who love quietness. The food is good; I cannot complain. They attended to our issues (not big) very efficiently.

In general was a very good hotel, very quiet and with awesome service. Beach very clean and good amount of chairs, food was good and with a lot of options.

Staff were great but not much for entertainment. Little boring in the evenings. A couple restaurants closed as well while we were there. Water at the beach only as deep as waist at all times with no waves due to a large manmade reef all around. Can go over to the other resort but lots of kids on that side. Overall, nice stay

This resort served my birthday celebration exceptionally well. They are very attentive to detail. My room was so comfortable with a great layout. The buffet selection offered so much quality tasting variety. We loved having so many restaurants to choose from for evening dinners. It is less than 20 minutes from the airport which is so convenient. The layout of this hotel flows so well from front to back allowing you to explore seamlessly the front lobby, the 3 pools and its beautiful beach. I highly recommend this for your 5* adults only resort vacation. Should any friends want to travel with their kids the same time period as you they can stay next door on the family side allowing you to visit them when ever you want and still use the bar and restaurants on the family side of Serenade.

Husband says love handles grew, and booty jiggles more now😂 Our stay was wonderful, food was delicious, many options and available day and night including room service. Drinks were tasty, the tropical was 👌. Ocean was shallow but nice to wade in, pools a bit chilly but refreshing. Highly recommend!

Amazing staff! So kind and approachable.

I recently stayed here for a week with my boyfriend at the end of December. We would probably rate it an 8/10. It was beautiful and new! So clean and we LOVED the room. If you are looking for a relaxing or romantic experience definitely stay on the adults-only side because family side was all kids lol. It was so hectic over there. You do have full access to both resorts whenever you’d like though. Lots of food/bar options and ample seating at the pools/beach. Food was a bit hit or miss with some spots being better than others. We found that a lot of the food looked beautiful but lacked taste... although Palapa and Ocean Buffet were both delicious. Excellent fancy coffees, most cocktails were (TOO) sweet. Overall it was quite decent! There was nightly entertainment at the family side plus day activities everyday. Adults side was low key and not a party atmosphere. Good mix of younger and older folks, mostly couples. The beach sand was white and soft and the water in front of the resort was super clear, although tons of weeds on either side so that was the slight downside. Some staff were excellent while some could be rude or seemed unhappy to be there, it was odd. Most staff speak extremely limited to no English so communication can be an issue. I used google translate on my phone at times.

Staff was a little rough. No atm on adult side. No night life. Beach had seaweed and hustlers that were aggressive. As well as illegal drugs being sold. And although the property was beautiful there was a lot of faulty work.

Overall all was good, but had difficulty to make restaurant reservations we wanted to go and would be great to have more entertainment.

I had asked if my room could be next to others in my group. The staff said yes and to come back at 7PM as the room needed to be cleaned. When I came back at 7PM, they said to come back the next morning and the room will for sure be ready. When I came back the next morning, they said to try again later that evening. I was told they could accommodate but I kept getting the run around. Horrible experience.

Staff was friendly and helpful Rooms were a nice size with a huge balcony. There was plenty of space by the pools. I would highly recommend.

We had a great stay! would definitely return. Friendly staff. Great food. Great drink/alcohol selection with premium liquors included. Very clean and beautiful rooms. Great value for what we paid.

The restaurants other than the buffets were wonderful. The beach and pools always clesn and service was exceptional. We were very bothered when they wasted an entire morning with a false greeting and breakfast that turned into a high pressure sales pitch. This can negatively impact your stay as they would not take no for an answer. Find a different way to sell as this 'Florida' sales tactic is a disgusting way to treat your customers. Otherwise a fantastic resort.

The location is close to the airport and the private swim out pool rooms on the adult only side is a lovely. We stayed during Christmas week and were looking forward to a stress free stay. When we arrived we got escorted to our room and discovered two double beds although we booked a King room.. when we returned to the front we were informed we would have to back the next day to have our room moved. We understood a mix up and obliged that one night in our own small beds would be okay. The next day we were told that our room would not be available until the following day (our last night of our stay) so that was disappointing.. we are understanding so we continued to enjoy our time in paradise at the overcrowded pools. The third night the king room was very lovely- and the final day we were able to get late check out.. as we had to pay hourly fee. The all inclusive options were limited to buffet and reservation only which seemed to be all booked by the time we arrived.. beach and pools were crowded, no lounge seats available at the only pool with music/ swim up bar, we sat at another pool that had lounge chairs available, we would have to walk back and forth to the bar for our cocktails... day 3 we discovered there were some staff that were taking drink orders around the quieter pools.. though their rounds were not consistent rounds. They have staff in the lobbies and walk ways forcefullysell experiences and services. Very limited hospitality.Not the most relaxing we expected.

The staff at the resort are beyond amazing, always in positive spirits and very kind. The beach is very well maintained, people would rake and clean up the debris. The swimming area was amazing. Security available to keep sellers away from the visitors. The cons are for a 5 star hotel, the buffet food is only okay quality, the room had various stains on the sheets (marker or makeup) that were not from us. The restaurants are reservation only and the food is delicious. However, the reservation system seems flawed - you can only choose between two times (6:30 or 8:30) and they only have 4 tables available.

Our second year in a row visiting Serenade All Suites Adult resort and it definitely did not disappoint! Entire family loved everything about the facility. My only suggestion is that there more food options. More cuisine options would be good.

I celebrated my birthday and had a wonderful time. the food was amazing and the staff truly made my experience unforgettable. This is not a party resort but a great choice if you want to relax and unplug. Serenade All Suites will see me again.

Many activities to try . Convenient dining options and coffee shop. Awesome activities coordinator. Excellent large rooms. Laid back atmosphere. No crowds.

Overall the resort was great, everything was up to date, luxurious and top notch. We stayed at the room with private pool, with pool view which made the stay unforgettable. The staff was responsive and helpful. I’d say if I had to improve one thing it would be the dining options. Two of their restaurants were temporarily closed, and during the dinner time the options were limited to 2-3 restaurants or the buffet. The lunch buffet also had limited options. This was something tolerable as we only stayed 4 nights and when we got to try the 3 restaurants the food was great. Also, for some reason the housing staff never changed the bed sheets, they would clean and room and make the bed but use the same bed sheets which can be a problem for some if they stay longer. Otherwise, the resort was clean, everyone was friendly, they had daily activities and great drinks.

Single Female traveler here!!! I really enjoyed this resort. Food options were Amazing!!! It’s hard to get reservations so be sure that’s the first thing you do after checking in. My room was beautiful. Love the soaking tub in the middle of the room. Entertainment options were pretty good. Also enjoyed all the pool…especially the views from the rooftop pool. Only thing I didn’t like was the lack of lighting at night. That’s the only time I get unsafe. Beach was great!!! Book this place asap!!!

Last year we stayed on the family side, as the adults only side had just opened. We'll be staying on the adults only side from now on. I loved ll of the bartenders and staff. The entertainment staff did their staff needs assistance and more people. Pineapple was great but the entertainment was kinda boring. Better entertainment on the family side. We would love to return to this resort on the adults only side. The rooms were amazingly big and super clean. We felt well taken care of. We're planning to go back next year around the same time. best but

Overall, hotel is OK. Our room was clean enough. Unfortunately pillows are not comfortable at all and bad was not so comfy too. No full size mirror in the room. No great service at the restaurants and in buffets. Very poor choices of meat and fish, the veggies and fruits choices are good. No activities at the beach on adults section, the entertainment was not great. You are not getting good services at the beach bar if you are not giving a tip.

The property was okay, the rooms were nice but you can tell some of the maintenance is shoddy. The food was also okay, not many options at the resort. The workers were very nice!

The property is super clean! The staff are all really friendly, the drinks here are much better compared to a few resorts I was in Mexico. The restaurants were great, especially the Koi and the French Gourmet. The medium rare ribeye steak at Brasseria is chef’s kiss. Buffet had good options, I preferred the breakfast buffet so much more. The cake deserts were a let down (except the Blondie at the French Gourmet restaurant. That was delightful). The beach is clean, except for the occasional overly present seaweed (they do a great job of cleaning those up though). I enjoyed the beach party at the family side and the live music/dance at the lobby of the adults only section. The food at the sports bar was a huge let down though 😒.

Property was beautiful staff was great. Food and drinks was good. I will advise all tourist to stay away from the buggy tours , they were not safe at all. Very dirty and dangerous. Plus they take you to dangerous areas and tourist traps.

Restaurants are always closed or "booked" (but empty) buffet food is pretty typical for the Dominican. Beautiful resort, amazing staff, clean rooms, gorgeous beach.

I really enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler. It was close to the airport (15mins) but felt far enough. I was able to feel a safe and comfortable walking around the property and attending the various shows throughout the night. Lots of food choices, many pools (so it’s not overcrowded), great beach, gym, rooftop.

I stayed on the adults side, and would give this resort a 7/10.first of all, Ruth and junior were great bartenders etc!! The rooms are nice, and the beach was amazing! They do a good job at keeping it clean of seaweed. There are a lot of “persistent” vendors on the beach. The food was decent, book specialty restaurants once you check in. The steakhouse and hibachi place were good. I would say they need a little improvement on activities during the day, the family side pool seemed like it was more party atmosphere than the all adults side. And there is no room service(which is not a big deal), and most food options are done by 10pm. Room service came everyday and cleaned. Overall I would give resort a 7/10.

Loved our stay here! Property was beautiful. Room was well appointed. Beach was very nice. Never had a problem finding shade or getting a beach chair(s). There were 3 pools. A quiet pool with no music. A party pool with music and swim up bar and a pool in the middle where you could hear the music but was quieter. Pools close at 7, which is a little early. Drinks were great, but made differently depending in which bar you went to. Food was great, but making a reservation for 5 people was troublesome. The buffet was good but some of the items could have been hotter. This is a quiet resort, so if you are looking for a party this is not the place for you. All in all we had a great time and I would return.

Everything was great about my husband & I trip we were looking for a resort with exceptional service and where we could relax all week and this resort is mainly for relaxing . The staff went above and beyond to make sure our expectations were met.

We loved the property, beach and a majority of the food. Also most of the staff were great! There could have been some better entertainment options/shows. The restaurant reservation system was a bit silly since the restaurants were empty during our reservations but we managed to eat at all the available dining options within a week.

All in all it’s a nice place. Just didn’t care that the area surrounding the resort was fairly inaccessible unless you had your own transportation. Also I didn’t care for the Xpand timeshare people and the whole you need a reservation thing. Other than that, the room was great, the pool was great, the drinks were ok and in consistent. And the food was also average as well.

Everything was really good, one problem that got bigger and bigger was they were incapable of restocking the room properly over and over again, I went and spoke to the manager four times throughout the week with still no results, I do not like to be ignored and do not think it is hard to restock the room with coffee, sugar, and creamer every day

Birthday trip

Firstly, the resort is new and very clean very well kept. I’ve been to Punta Cana numerous times but this is the first and more than likely the last stay at The Serenade. The food was not good at all and we weren’t able to book the steak house during our 4 night stay because they were all booked and only open on Friday and Saturday. It was very clear that most of the staff did NOT want to be there. Most had bad attitudes and were not friendly especially the bartenders. They(bartenders) talked about us in front of us not realizing we understood some of what they were saying. The nightly shows/entertainment were maybe an hour long and after that, everything(the resort) was dead. I will definitely stay somewhere else next time until they can work out the kinks.

Loved the beach, pool, pool bar, rooftop infinity pool, walking the beach, buffet and bar service. Room service was lacking (didn't have listed items any day, didn't bring requested items). In the garden suites maybe you could spray for mosquitos. Couldn't really use our pool at night

Friendly staff, clean facility, all the staff needs to learn some more English , not very easy to communicate with them. restaurant are very average, resort claimed for 5 restaurants, three of them needs a reservation, reservation ability is very limited . They won’t allow you to make any restaurant reservations until you checked in , however everything were booked out when you get there. Japanese restaurant is serving Chinese fusion, Matcha cake was colored green no taste of Matcha at all… cocktails with very little alcohol but very sweet, liked the house thought..

We loved serenade! The property was spotless. We stayed on the adults only side & enjoyed several afternoons at the swim up bar.

First time at an all in-inclusive resort… this was a lovely experience! Felt very relaxed, always had our choice of lounge chairs by the pool or beach. Rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast room service is great to start the day. Coffee Bar is a must. Staff are very helpful & kind.

This property is beautiful and serene. This IS NOT a party hotel. There aren’t many options for entertainment or food but I wasn’t looking for that anyway because I had researched it on YouTube. Unfortunately due to the humidity and some water drainage issues the doors on the bathroom and main door are swollen and coming apart. It’s sad that the builders didn’t take that into consideration because this is such a beautiful hotel but it will be a 3 star in no time due to the wear and tear. I know this may sound like a negative review but it certainly isn’t meant to be. The staff was lovely and wanted to help at every turn. Some didn’t understand English but they would try to ask another staff member that did. Our outside transportation we had contracted to take us to the airport was late so I asked the employee at the front of the lobby for assistance. He tried to contact the transport for me with his own phone. They weren’t answering but he assured me that if they didn’t show up soon he would call a cab for us. When the transport showed up with excuses why he was late the employee gave him a good talking to in Spanish. I don’t know what he said but he was mad. lol. Overall, if I wanted to stay at a quiet, friendly, beautiful hotel, this would be it.

Food was just okay, not enough choices at the buffets compared to other resort's. Difficult to get reservations for restaurants and some were closed two days a week. Very little entertainment options at this resort, everything is on the family side. I was surprised to see how the conditions were starting to breakdown since the resort is only a couple years old. Nice resort but wouldn’t go back.

Honestly, it didn’t feel like a 5 stars resort. I’d give it a 4 stars at max. Although the beach was clean with clear water, if you’re someone who likes a beach with waves, I wouldn’t recommend this resort. We stayed on the adult only side, but the entertainment was definitely on the family side. I wouldn’t recommend trying the restaurants on the family side because the food weren’t as good. The service on the family is horrendous sometimes.

Resort in a great location and very close to the airport. The adult only side is relatively small but we enjoyed it as it was easy to get chairs on the beach/pool. Due to the smaller size, it was a bit quieter of a resort which we really enjoyed. And found it relaxing. Food was good although it was challenging to get reservations for dinner at times. A few things we noticed that was different than other resorts we have been to, there wasn’t much for night time entertainment. There also wasn’t much service around the pool or bench area. If you wanted a drink, you needed to go up to the bars for the most part. Both of these didn’t bother us but wanted to call out for those that this may be important.

Many staff speak no English so be prepared with google translate if you don’t speak Spanish! Resort was clean, drinks and food were good. Gym was spacious and lots of equipment. You get pestered to purchase excursions or time shares in the resort and on the beach.
