This is a great resort - we enjoyed our stay very much and will stay here again. Property is modern, clean (staff is cleaning something all the time, rooms cleaned daily, towels changed twice a day), staff members are polite and nice. We had a room with swim up pool with garden view - very nice perk that we used when it was too hot to be at the beach. Buffet restaurant had healthy choices (and plenty of them) for all meals. This resort is best for people over 40 - some entertainment but not too much partying, generally quiet, but fun vacation atmosphere. No complaints, we were sad to leave! Thank you for making our vacation so enjoyable!

This resort was very nice. The service was impeccable everyone was extremely kind, helpful, and courteous. The food was ok, it was enjoyable. The room service was through the ‘app’ and they’re not as responsive as they should be you can get assistance at the front desk at all times. Overall 9.5/10. Will definitely stay again!

We had a really enjoyable vacation! The resort has a quiet vibe and is modern with an excellent lay-out. We loved the variety of pools offered, choosing to spend our time at the quiet one. The padded lounge chairs are an added bonus as is the ample seating which do not require you to be up at the crack of dawn to secure one. All public spaces are exceptionally clean and beautifully landscaped. We had a couple of issues with our room that were handled in a timely manner. We loved the lobby area. It's a great place to spend time in the evening and the cocktails here are expertly crafted. Similar to my previous visit at this resort, we didn't love the food offerings, particularly at dinner. Tweaking of menus is needed. While we loved the presence of no smoking and personal speaker signs on each palapa, they were largely ignored. I'd love to see resort management enforce these two policies more stringently as the smoking everywhere is a huge turn-off. Serenade All-Suites is a great resort that I look forward to returning to some day!

The property was nice, room were clean. There was not a pen in the room so I didn’t know how to leave a tip exactly. My husbands fat fingers pushed the wrong numbers on the safe & the guy who came to help was very fast & good. Not being able to find seats by the pool or beach is very annoying, I don’t want to have to wake up at 6 am to get a spot when I’m on vacation.

We booked through Expedia. Good deal and our experience at the resort was great . Great place to RELAX!

Fun, clean, and relaxing

Spaghetti boy was amazing keeping the activities going!

We found the rooms were very clean and big ! (Garden view) people complain about the roosters but we found it not to be a problem . Only heard them in the morning when we came out on our deck ! Buffet was great on the adult and family ! We loved the steak house (went twice on our trip) we spent most of our time at the sunset bar which has the most amazing view with infinity pool ! Drinks were top notch along with some good pub food …fish tacos were amazing ! Adult swim up bartenders wernt the nicest and took forever to get a drink !! Overall tho , great resort !

Overall had a great experience and week, we were on the Adult only side, quiet, generally good food, would’ve like to see more options to go enjoy a drink in the evening than just the lobby area, missed opportunity to me to not have evening bar area open by the beach or the roof top bar. But overall, was a great experience if you’re looking for quiet chill vacation and would definitely consider going back.

This is a wonderful, new property. We stayed on the adult side and will definitely be back! The food was amazing. We had no issues booking for six of the seven nights at the Al a carte restaurants. The buffet was really good too, plentiful and a ton of options. Always something to do at night, either on adult side or family side. We got a free room upgrade to ocean view, which was great. Although we did not take advantage of the $72 Expedia credit because of the limitations, nice to know it was there (can only use it for late checkout, upgrade on food or beverage). We had no need to upgrade! Even Black Label scotch was included. Servers made the drinks very well, not watered down like in Mexico! Lots of A/C areas (ice cold in room) and pools were perfect temp (rooftop pool was a bit chilly, but not bad). Bed was firm but comfortable. Only complaint is that they do not stock the mini bars like they’re supposed to on a daily basis. We had to ask numerous times, not a huge deal though. Will definitely be back!!

We loved the actual property.it was beautiful. The staff in the store were just rude. They didn’t talk to us, just told us how much we owed- no thank you, nothing. We got the feeling that the staff were not welcoming. The food at Koi and the steakhouse were mediocre at best. The market buffet was good though, and the drinks were awesome!

An enjoyable vacation. The pools were great- especially appreciated the quiet pool. Rooms were roomy with good facilities. Food options were more than adequate. Staff generally helpful and friendly. Definitely value for money!

The property.. pools and beach are kept really nice. Not so much for the actual hotel rooms.. there was a water bug that sat in the hallway all day and the walls look like they were lifting from water damage . the first room was dirty and the door was broken so they put me in another room which was beautiful except the door got broken on that one as well. It seems they’re very cheaply put together. There was a bug in my bed and the guys downstairs said they don’t know how they got there because that’s from the country. I got sick from the water from a salad that I ate and they were not very accommodating. They didn’t have things listed on the room service menu and when I went downstairs to tell them, I wasn’t feeling well. They told me I could not take a plate out of the dining room and I had to eat there. The spa was really nice and the service of body scrub was great. They were very limited with bottles of water and even when I told them I wasn’t feeling well. They made me walk all the way down to the beach pool in order to get one. The food was not great, and the restaurants were not open most days so choices were limited. I never complain unless something is really not good. Previously I had been to the hard rock years back, and that was great, but I figured I would try something new. Next time I go back to the hard rock..

Excellent service

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at Serenade All Suites. The food, the drinks, the people, all amazing! The entertainment staff, Spaghetti and Pineapple were so much fun to interact with. We look forward to a future stay very soon

The hotel was very clean. The beach and pool areas were very nice. The hotel has great potential, but due to the poor service and overall experience, we would not return.

Staff was extremely friendly and management was hands on. Disappointed that the Brazilian and Gourmet Tasting were both closed. Steak House was very disappointing meals were hit and miss. Buffet had amazing food choices and tasty however everything was cold. Need to find a way to keep things hot/warm. All in all it was a great stay!

My time at Serenade was wonderful. The food was good, the facilities were clean, and the staff were helpful. I would stay here again in a heart beat. I’ll definitely be back!

We chose this resort based on the reviews as well as the pricing. It was more than we expected. The resort was clean and well cared for, our room was great and the extras were much appreciated. We enjoyed the buffets as well as the dinners we had at the three restaurants we tried, hibachi being our favorite. The staff was always happy to assist and always there with a smile. They all seemed to love their jobs. We’ll definitely return.

We enjoyed the food, cleanliness, service and access to the family side if we wanted. It was very close to the airport and going on excursions outside of the resort was easy to do.

Would have given this 5, BUT , Staff as a whole need to be trained to do a better job at making you feel welcome and appreciated! Rooftop Lounge and Bar area is special! Jose is great! This was our second time staying at an adults only, all inclusive. The resort layout was great, pools from the back of the lobby all the way to the beach! It was extremely clean both the room and shared areas. The staff were very friendly and the drinks were great! The food was mediocre but we were able to find something at each meal that we liked. We definitely didnt' starve! We would return to the Serenades All Suites for either the adult only or a family vacation.

Staff was super friendly. We enjoyed our room. The beach was pretty and convenient to excursions (dolphins are next door). We walked back from Scuba Doos. The property had about a dozen power flashes while we’re there and several false fire alarms. We ordered a tomahawk steak for an extra $72 and were GREATLY disappointed. It took 90 minutes to come out and when it did, it was the most mangled piece of meat that I’ve ever seen. The bartenders were awesome and we got to try some new drinks. My wife now has a new favorite drink.

Over all We are satisfied. Location good and the Beach most enjoyable.

Pros: Resort is clean, room was very comfortable. Beach was great, we liked the shallow (chest deep max) calm swim area. Water was very clear, seaweed on beach cleared every morning. The food was above average, Koi was our favorite restaurant. There are no butlers here and honestly we were good with that. We had no trouble making restaurant and excursion reservations with the concierge. Loved the coffee bar in the morning and the lobby bar before dinner. We liked the size of the resort, very walkable. Cons: Service not great, staff not very friendly. Lack of activities. Almost non existent on the adult side. More on the family side but it was not on the app or posted anywhere on our side. You have to walk over to that side to check the board. Overall, if you are over 40 and looking for a relaxing resort with a nice swim up bar I would recommend. If you want more party atmosphere or nightly shows this is not the place.

The staff was friendly but we experienced seeing little bugs in our room upon arrival. Also, the food was not good.

The property was very nice and clean. The food was great and most of the staff was friendly. The elevators did not always work, none of the ice machines worked and alarms went off at various times during the day. The resort told me I could only use my Expedia credit for late check out, not for food or beverages as stated on my Expedia reservation.

My wife and I just got back from out trip. This was our first all-inclusive resort. The trip was a getaway to relax and we didn't book any extra excursions. We booked a swim out pool side room. Whatever we paid extra for the swim out room was definitely worth it! We were also close to the La Palapas bar/restaurant (Luis & Junior were a couple of the main bartenders during our stay and were excellent) so that was a perfect place to get drinks and lunch. The on-site entertainment was also in this area, which was great to watch from our room/pool. The beach is where we spent most of the afternoons. There's a lot of seaweed but they have workers constantly digging out the swimming area. We loved being able to walk the beach and the shallow areas. The room itself did not blow me away (quality of tile/finish work and the tub didn't have a drain plug, water drained out of the shower door easily), but the design and layout was outstanding. The food was delicious. We mostly ate breakfast at the buffet, which had a great selection of fruit and someone making smoothies and omelets. We ate mostly appetizers at La Palapas during lunchtime and made dinner reservations at the three restaurants; steakhouse, sushi bar and hibachi. We enjoyed the hibachi the most. I think you'll be more than satisfied with your stay here if you're looking for a quiet relaxing getaway for a very fair price!

We had such an enjoyable stay at Serenade All Suites! Great service. Highly recommend this resort. We had a pool-view Junior Suite and it was gorgeous. Modern, cozy and clean! The grounds were also well maintained. Very relaxing on the beautiful beach. Even though there was some sea grass, staff worked hard all day every day to keep it clean. Tons of events happening in the evenings throughout the week; don’t miss out on the White Party. The staff at the pool swim-up bar were a hoot! Our favourite restaurant was La Palapa for lunch and dinners. Thanks to the staff for helping to make our vacay so great.

Everything was great. The only thing that was lacking was there were no full length mirrors in the rooms.

Rooms are spacious, entertainment is excellent, food is fresh with a variety of options.

The private beach was the best part and where I spent most of my time. I loved the different restaurant options and how available the staff were for different requests. Everyone was very attentive and I felt well taken care of the whole time!

The resort overall was great. Food was solid and drinks were good. Multiple pools to go to and never had to get up early to get loungers at any of them. The beach is nice but the water does not get deep so you can’t actually swim in it which was disappointing. We were a group of 6 and never had an issue getting a table together for any of our meals. For dinners, we used guest services to make reservations and we got meals 5/7 nights in the a La carte restaurants. Steak house was our favorite. The only thing that would stop me from coming back is the beach, otherwise I would come back in a heartbeat.

Swim out suites were nice, pools were awesome and staff was friendly. Seaweed in ocean bad. Communication regarding the nighttime shows and activities were poor and their app didn’t provide enough information. Food at the buffet was average but the Koi restaurant was good.

Will definitely stay again

The resort and room was absolutely beautiful and VERY clean they have many restaurants and 2 gift shops one on the family side and adult i didn’t try any of the restaurants on the family side except the sports bar which is opened the latest (2am) The family side is extremely quiet my bf and I ( 21&20) were def the youngest there. CONS It is IMPOSSIBLE to get chairs by the adult side we got there at 10am and every single one has a towel on it so that was annoying, the cleaning lady knocked on the door everyday at 9AM despite the dnd sign and the food was very mid the habachi was the most appetizing. If you like quiet beautiful resorts i will recommend.

This resort was a decent experience, especially for first time travellers and couples who want a weekend getaway. Interactions with staff were great, room service is a hit or miss and the beach is mid at best - a lot of seaweed despite staff trying very hard to keep it clean. We used their app to navigate and book reservations which was quite convenient. The drinks were well made and very well proportioned. We enjoyed our little private pool but found the closing times on the beach and public pools a bit early. Would recommend for those who want to relax for vacay!

The food was amazing and the hotel was very clean. However a lot of staff was not friendly and willing to help. Some staff was nice like the gentleman who assisted us when we checked in but other staff like the bartenders ignored us multiple times

The room was great - huge - clean. the bed was ok - The beach was beautiful, there were enough beach chairs and the pool was great. But, the many of the staff were almost rude - it was hard to get reservations for dinner, and there was no communication about events - the power went out regularly in our room (not all of it, but outlets that charged phones, internet, etc.)

I got very sick and tested positive for salmonella when I returned. The chicken was not completely cooked and I was unaware when I ate it.

Very nice resort

The resort overall was clean and seemed well cared for. Our housekeeping staff was lovely and attentive. However there was a serious domestic violence incident that occurred near our room that the hotel did not appear to take seriously. We were very concerned for the persons safety and we did not feel it was handled well. As well, there was not much entertainment unless you went across to the sister resort next door. Not many restaurants or snacks available in the evening either. Our main concern was that the pools were not heated and were so cold that we couldn’t use them at all. We also paid for a swim out room that was ice cold and we were unable to use at all.

Enjoyed my week here. Was very enjoyable and no issues with checking in or check out and the staff were all great.

Lovely resort customer service could be a little better. Server forgot my drink a few times. And the food could be better. Loved the overall resort though.

The only suggestion that we have the pool water could have been warmer and there could be an actual hot tub where the water is hot other than that had a wonderful time

Beautiful resort! Exactly like the photos. Staff were amazing. Beach area is small but clean and well kept. Pools are fabulous and lots of chairs. Rooms are super comfortable, spacious and quiet! Food was good but not great. Lots of options though. Communication could improve too. Hard to know what entertainment was happening on the adult side each day as app didn’t update the whole time we were there. And it was complicated to reserve dinners at first but went to guest services and got it resolved quickly! So a few kinks to work out but overall we had a fabulous time and would totally recommend!!

Food -Two thumbs and big toes down .

The overall stay was good, however the food was horrible. The market place buffet was nasty for breakfast lunch and dinner. The papala was at best ok. The ocean restaurants was mediocre. The best restaurants on the resort was the Koi restaurant. Overall, the stay was satisfactory, although the dining experience was disappointing. The buffet restaurant offered mediocre meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. the ocean restaurant was unremarkable. The only truly exceptional dining experience on the resort was at the Koi restaurant. The Valentine’s dinner was so bad that all four courses were disguising so much so that by the time our entree’s came we were disgusted . The steak for out entree was cooked so hard and the lobster was mushy. We sent it back and left before the last course was served. The entertainment for the valentine’s dinner was the best part of the dinning experience.

It is a really sleepy resort. If you are looking for entertainment on the resort, this is not the resort you should visit. If you want rest and quiet relaxation, this is the resort for you. The a joining family resort has a little more action, but not enough.

Property was nice. Pools options are great. We found the entertainment was not in the app and never knew what was going on as a result we missed some. The restaurants are nice but way too bright which makes them lack the ambience. Nice to be able to use the family side but not all their restaurants are open for us to use. Roof top pool and bar are a tad underwhelming. Food was good. We had a great time overall and would consider retuning if the price is right.

I’ve been coming here 3 years now Twice on regular side first on adults only The buffet a little smaller but plenty full and clean!!! Visited regular side for buffet and what a disaster Recommendation would be to add more staff at that buffet to keep clean and to change utensils more frequently to keep up with cleaning! Always nice to see the regular staff inside and outside! Extraordinary staff would be Nilda and Blandio and Louis at the regular side pool!! Looking forward to seeing you next year💕

The resort needs to do a better job of staffing their facility at the bars, buffets, restaurants and pool areas. The staff was extremely slow to fill water glasses and/or deliver beverages we requested. Food coming of the grills was very good. The food in the self serve areas were not kept warm enough. The staff for the pool area was extremely slow. The resort was clean and the staff was friendly. Zero sense of urgency was the norm.

Poor lighting configuration: all lights on to go to bathroom instead of a separate lighting system bathtub used as divider-instead of a wall or divider. water in private pool balcony cool not comfortable swim dip.. pools cool water swimable but not for long LOVED the buffet plus restaurant choices...ASIA superb hibachi!!!!

Great trip, would totally go back to the property!

Our experience at Serenade All Suites - Adults Only was far from what we expected. While the rooms were spacious and clean, several major issues made our stay frustrating and disappointing. Negatives: Nightlife & Entertainment: Virtually nonexistent, making it a major letdown for an adults-only resort. The nightclub was dull, with poor DJs and no crowd engagement. Discriminatory Treatment: Some staff were polite, but it was clear that Americans and Canadians received better treatment than Hispanic guests. We were denied restaurant access for “lack of a reservation,” yet saw non-Hispanic guests let in without one. As Hispanic Americans, it was upsetting to feel like second-class citizens. Aggressive Sales Tactics: Their timeshare pitch was misleading and relentless. We were told a resort tour would grant us VIP access, only to find out we already had it. A supposed 20 minute chat turned into a long, high-pressure sales pitch. One manager, Mauricio, was rude and condescending, implying we shouldn’t have agreed if we “couldn’t afford it.” After mentioning him in a survey, he confronted us at the front desk—completely unprofessional. Retaliation & Unethical Practices: After complaining, guest services offered a free late checkout but later to find out that they required us to sign a waiver preventing honest reviews and future complaints. When we refused, manager Jose told us to “take it or leave it.” We chose to pay for late checkout rather than sign such an unethical document.

Had the best time of my life would definitely recommend

Unfortunately got food poisoning on the second day and didn't leave the room much. Beach is very nice and condition of the rooms and facilities are like new. Added bonus is the resort is only a few minutes from the airport. Booking dinner reservations can be a little hokey, but we met with the reservation lady the first morning and she set us up. Unfortunately like I mentioned I was only able to eat 2 dinners.

Beware of the Timeshare Pitch! Upon arrival, staff will strongly suggest that you meet with someone in the office to the left of the lobby, claiming it’s necessary to access the hotel app for dinner reservations. However, this is simply a sales pitch for their timeshare. Once we realized that, we walked away, and my husband was able to find the app online without any issues. Avoid this scam at all costs! Room & Amenities Our room was clean, spacious, and featured a swim-out patio overlooking the main pool. Light snacks and a limited selection of drinks were provided in the fridge and restocked daily. However, one day we left a $2 tip on the bed, only to find it taken—without the room being cleaned or the bed made. Given reports from other guests about belongings being stolen from the safes, we opted to use our luggage lock instead. On a positive note, the AC worked great, keeping the room cool and comfortable. Dining Experience The resort offers a variety of restaurants across both properties, including a sports bar. I was initially skeptical about the buffet, as many dishes lacked flavor, but I managed to find something decent each day. That said, the food presentation and attention to detail were impressive. As for dinner reservations, we had no issues booking in advance. On a couple of occasions, we discovered restaurants we wanted to try last-minute, and despite not having a reservation, the hostesses accommodated us.

The property was beautiful! We missed 1 1/2 days due to delayed flights which the hotel refused to refund us for the night we missed. Other than that and losing power, (not hotels fault) we had a great time there! Made great memories!

The grounds and beach here are amazing. The food is okay. Customer service was very hit or miss and cleanliness in our room was poor. Speaking to multiple other guests they felt the same way. Overall it was not a bad holiday but I would never return to this location again for the price.
