Nice place to stay.
Great small hotel .
This a great small hotel. Two small beaches, very cozy. Very quiet and your able to get away from the noisy pool area as the beach is down some small stairs. Food is okay and staff very happy and friendly. Very Russian and Ukrainian oriented, but they were very nice too. I’d describe the hotel as a 3 star and I’d definitely stay here again.
This hotel is not a five star I don’t even rate as a two star I don’t recommend this place to anyone at all
Don't come near this resort
The resort looks amazing from the outside but the outside only. This terrible resort ruined my trip to Sharm El Sheikh. The customer server was just trash. He kept trying to steal money from me. First his said he doesn't have the reservation and I need to give him conformation number, I had the email with conformation number and everything. Then he said you have to pay extra because your reservation is for one person, I showed him the app and it says 1 room 2 people. He made me wait for like an hour just to check me in. Everyone was just trying to steal money, they send someone to the room to show me how to use the air condition, how to close the curtain and how to use the toilet like I am a kid. I think the purpose was to see where my stuff is so they can steal it when I'm not in the room. The restaurant was always crowded because this is a cheap hotel and the food was bad too. Read the other reviews people have left and stay away from this resort if you want to have fun in Sharm El Sheikh.
Old Hilton with TOO many Damn rules!
A old Hilton! they cannot even give you a juice with your dinner and bft package only water! you wanted a coffee or tea with your dinner it cost 2$ ? WHAT the? is the hilton hotels chain so cheap they cannot give a instant coffee or hot water with a cheap tea bag for bft + dinner pkge customers. The reason we choose this pckage, was because we came in at 6 pm. and left at 9 am the next morning! SO we didnt need an all inclusive deal! But what a circus. The staff are abit rude. They will charge you 100LE if you have food left over on your plate! OMG! one of the worst HILTON hotel, I'd stayed in. The people connection is lacking. They have one sliding door for entry and one for exit... What an unwelcoming feeling to start with! This was not a holiday place, but a old hotel with a million military rules! the opposite of fun!
Not worth it at all , low standard stuff, not professional, the worker at the restaurant don't clean where they cook the food..
Being your earplugs: infants accepted
Rooms are not sound insulated; but hotel accept not only children below age 12 upto 3 per room - but even infants below age 2. And not is some children-oriented area but throughout all hotel. So bring your earplugs but even with them not except deep undisturbed sleep
Staff was excellent, especially housekeeping people and the reception. They are truly 5 star level. Some facilities are bit old, and swimming pool is quite salty (maybe because of sea water usage?) Cleanliness is satisfying, and you’ll find out here as a comfortable place. If I can request, a bit more dishes for breakfast will even nicer.
Liked the rooms, quality bedding and quite. Breakfast buffet was good. We didn't do full meal plan so it was difficult to find something to eat, restaurants were closed. Didn't care for location, not swimmable beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Used beauty salon and spa, good service.
Not good but also not bad Room was good but home service is totally bad Pools also need more maintains
Family friendly
We had a very good service through out the week. It’s family friendly
The staff in the hotel are very friendly and nice..the room was large and clean except the bathroom did not look like it was properly cleaned. The used toiletries from the previously customers were still left in the bathroom and the floor towel was hanging wet on the bathtub. Hotel grounds and the pool looks lovely with the funicular offering spectacular views of the sea and the landscape. However most of the pools are not heated which is bad during the winter. The food selection was pretty bad too at the buffet, definitely not 5 star standards.
no internet in the room, facilities and room do have the feeling of old structure.
Great holiday spot
Great location and super friendly staff, the views are amazing
My Stay at the Hilton Waterfalls.
I had a magnificent stay at the Hilton Waterfalls hotel.I was very impressed with the staff especially the receptionist Miss Almany. I also liked the services three tour guides Mr. Adam Sheikh, Mr Fabio and Mr. Adam alwaz. There were also so many nice waiters whose ames are too numerous to mention. Finally, I definitely would recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives. A great and ideal place for a fun vacation.
On the Beach in Sharm El Sheik
The Hilton Waterfalls is one of the oldest Hiltons in Sharm, but it has one of the best beach/reef locations. The snorkeling off their dock is wondrous and the lounge chair area is well developed. This is not a swimming beach with lots of sandy area (which hardly exists in Sharm), so don't expect that. Egypt has suffered a large drop in tourism because of the problems of the past, but this has created great opportunities for visitors today. Can you imagine the 35 minute trip to the airport is less that 15 USD? The room cost of this hotel is another great bargain. I tend not to enjoy vacations when I have spent so much on the flight and room that everything else seems like wasted money. In Sharm today, the prices are so good that I really enjoyed and didn't stress about the cost.
Very nice resort
An excellent place for the family The sea beach needs some improvement specially for swimming
Not Hilton standard
Staff were unconcerned and inattentive. My room telephone didn't work, nobody was interested in fixing it, food was awful. The water was shut off for 5 hours without a warning, this was for scheduled maintenance. The standard of cleaning was poor.
Very nice hotel
Is an excellent resort The stuff very kind the Spa is very good ( a little expensive) The rooms are big and clean
Great hotel location with beach access, 2 big salt water pools, kids pool, one big fresh water pool, spacious room with porch area, fridge, safe, cable tv, amazing service, buffet breakfast lunch and dinner... Italian restaurant and another restaurant by the salt water pools if u like quick small portion lunch around 5$ each only, not just the price is good but the food is also great and tasty...
Amazing stay , stuff are friendly , food variety is so limited
will never go back
very bad staff, very bad food
The food was bad and not at the level of a 5 stars hotel at all.
Great Vacation made even better!
My husband and I were at Hilton Waterfall Resort for our 30th anniversary. We were very, very pleased with our room, the food and the staff. Our room was always made clean and nice and our room steward paid attention to what we used and when it needed replaced. Even gave us extra face cloths. The staff by the pool and beach were very friendly and not invasive. Restaurant staff were excellent and attentive. The only complaint I had was that the 'animation' team of four Russian girls were not very kind to the staff. They were aloof and surly to all hotel visitors that I could see except the ones from their own nationality. Granted I know this area is where a lot of them come to, tho I find it was not reason to be unkind to the national staff and other visitors.
Beautiful hotel on the beach
Staff great, very friendly. Nice place on the beach. The issue I had were the mosquitoes. Very bad inside the room.
Staff were excellent. They couldn't be more helpful. They always wanted to know if everything was ok, anything thing negative was put straight, immediately. hotel amenities are very good.
For the younger generation
The hotel has two elevators to take you to the beach and different room sections and the main lobby which has the main restaurant, walking up and down these hills is a pain especially for older folks. The front desk and front desk manager were excellent . The food was terrible and my wife got food poisoning. There is no beach and the pier to get to the reefs is a plastic pier which in high seas is very annoying and hazardous. The rooms were not well maintained as our keys worked part of the time. Rest of the employees other than the reception were cocky and a bit snappish and I really don't know why? weird. We had to move to another hotel the royal Savoy in Naima bay which was more expensive but really excellent. They also messed up our reservation as we booked half board via Expedia and they would not honor it and booked as BB and we had to pay the difference but Expedia refunded us right away.
sharming
Nice hotel excellent staff . Lots of pool options and still sun beds available after breakfast ! Most days
Great hotel
Excellent hotel and staff with great facilities. Only thing that lets the hotel down is the lack of wifi around pool areas as only within hotel reception.
An absolute headache.
From the moment I arrived, nothing went smoothly. I had to change rooms 3 times due to ant/ lizard infestations. When I finally settled into a room I discovered pubic hair on th bathroom floor and small insects, by this point it was 10pm and I'd had a 7 hour flight. There were cup marks on tables and the floors were dirty. Something had leaked from the minibar which obviously hadnt been cleaned in a long while. Staff were generally rude and made everything seem like an effort. My breakfast was cleared away before I'd finished and no apology when I returned to find a new coupl being introduced to the table. Booked a taxi to go to the airport 24 hours before needed - half an hour later than the time I booked it for no sign, staff member didn't seem to want to help, in the end I was given a 20person van because the 'other car was not available' ridiculous. Remote ran out of battery. Food uncooked/ room service food arrived cold and stale. Told to leave tray outside room and NINE hours later it was collected. Recieved a phone call at 830am when I had a do not disturb sign up on my first morning asking to clean the room.. Really dissatisfied. Loud music playing late Thursday night without any warning. I feel for ALL the inconvenience I suffered, a complimentary meal would've been a nice gesture. definitely will not be returning here. Hope my experience was a one off!! The one member of staff I did find helpful was Mohamed. He had a nice attitude and genuinely wanted to help
Lovely Hotel with House Reef
Stayed 1 week, it's a lovely hotel right on the beach with floating jetty over the coral providing access to the "house reef", scuba diving available at the hotel However saw many more fish just snorkeling. Food is basic and samey, but there is plenty of if, you get what you pay for! And I would say this is great value for money. Staff are very helpful and pleasant, rooms clean if decor a little tired.
Beautiful Hotel
Initially, our six month old reservation was recorded incorrectly due to a 'systems error' but the hotel made up for this by apologising, sending us baskets of fruit to both rooms and upgrading us to a free sea view room. We were happy with this. The rooms are great, especially the sea view rooms and they are kept clean. The air conditioning works well and the food was fine in that it was edible and did not make us ill. The views are spectacular.
Perfect
Firstly, the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on - very disappointed with my own when I got home! Very clean, great staff, plenty of space, lots to do for all ages. It did seem that the majority of people were on a full board basis. We were bed and breakfast. I don't tend to like the whole buffet set up in these hotels so we ate in the al a carte restaurants which were very reasonably priced, had a good range of choice and were very tasty. The room service menu choice is also excellent. If you stay there, do go out on the speedboat snorkelling trip - a great fun afternoon and we were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins. My son had a go at the para-sailing which was a bit of a rip off - quite a lot of money for about 5 minutes. Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are diving with Ocean College - we have already booked to go back next May.
Very nice hotel with private Red sea beach
The hotel is very nice and very clean. The staff are always helpful and smiling. The food is good for the first few days but it lacks variety so you end up getting fed up with it especially if you're staying there for over a week and you have paid for all-inclusive deal. They have seven restaurants there but the food is basically the same. So my advice is don't pay for a deal which includes food, try some other restaurants out of the hotel. Everything else is excellent, perfect. The pools are clean. The ocean is nearby. I may need to mention sous chef Mohamed Gomaa and Restaurant Manager Mohamed Gamar who went out of their way to make us feel at home.
Close to the beach
Nice hotel but too close to sewage works. Evening smell overpowering. Would put a queasy stomach off their food. Something needs to be done about the smell.
Think twice ......
On the surface , a 5 star establishment. But after a while you begin to notice the hotel needs a thorough upgrade eg old water damage noticed, grout coming away . One of the hotel " piers " should be shut down. An accident waiting to happen, and a health and safety risk. After recent terrorist events in Tunisia , i expected increased , and stringent security measures in place here in Sharm. Maybe , as ex British military , i cast a very critical eye on the standard of Egyptian check points, roadblocks etc. The personnel seemed more interested in relaxing in the shade than doing a thorough security job. Did not feel a sense of safety at all.
Fantastic Resort
Great large resort with plenty to do. Lovely pools, friendly, helpful staff. Nice little bars dotted about the resort. Good variety of food but is repeated quite abit over the week. We often ended up going out for dinner. All inclusive is a good option, especially if you have alcholic drinks.
Big resort lots of activities
We stayed for 7 days at the Hilton waterfalls hotel and enjoyed our stay. The resort is very big with many facilities and activities for all ages. The staff are very kind and friendly and a wide variety of food. However I think the bathrooms are in need of renovation and this would improve the hotel.
Brilliant hotel
excellent hotel very welcoming staff and lovely resort.
Amazing hotel
This hotel and staff made our holiday very special, the hotel is amazing, the view was beautiful, if you are thinking of visiting sharm el sheik then this hotel must be your choice, I have never seen a better resort than this,
Amazing hotel
When we arrived we were upgraded to a sea view room which was stunning. The balcony had a view of all the pools and the sea, it was breathtaking. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially a man called A.keshk. He booked our massage treatments and introduced us to all the staff to book our excursions. The massages and body scrub in the health club were the best treatments we've ever had. I would recommend everyone to have the cleopatra treatment. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast food was nice. Thank you Hilton and A.keshk for making our experience in sharm el sheikh so lovely. We're definitely going back!
1 word AMAZING!!
everything was just perfect. from the hotel, the facilities to the excellent staff.
Fantastic all round hotel
Probably one of the best hotels in Sharm in my opinion. Three beautiful swimming pools with amazing views of the Red Sea. Food also very very nice. Best thing about this hotel is the snorkelling by the sea. Good coral reefs Staff were attentive and we were never found wanting
Great price, room, and facilities. Make sure you opt for the all inclusive package. The food isn't great but it's still worth it. The snorkeling is great and my next trip I'll stay long enough to enjoy some scuba diving.
Good weather, close to reef
Gr8 salt water pools, excellent snorkelling off hotel beach. Didnt like having to complain everyday for 3 days to get WIFI in room fixed! Beautiful grounds and well kept. Gr8 views
Everything we wished for - fully as described.
The staff simply couldn't do enough to ensure we got the very most out of our holiday. From our very first interaction with the security post and right through our entire experience we were made to feel very special. There are a lot of establishments in the UK that could learn much about Customer Service from the staff at this resort - truly wonderful. Accommodation - clean, spacious, comfortable. Food & Drink - good variety, good quality Service - simply first class!
Good hotel but heated pool not working!!
Good hotel but heated pool wasn't working which is a big NEGATIVE in winter. This should be communicated on it's websites so that people know this before booking their stay. I would not have booked if I had known this.
Great Snorkelling location
Amazing location for snorkelling, helpful staff, HUGE hotel complex with loads to do
Nice hotel and good value for money
We stayed for 6 nights from 19th December. We had a Deluxe room with a sea view which is well worth the extra cost. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Although we didn't opt for the all inclusive option but still ended up having most of our meals in the buffet restaurant. Apart from one meal where the choice was poor, we found the food was of excellent quality with good variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our daughter loved going to the kids club. We were particularly impressed with Natali in the kids club who took good care of our daughter and seemed to get on well with all the children. The only disappointing thing was that there was only one available pool that was heated. Overall the hotel was good value for money.
Ok hotel
Horrible rooms given at 1st then changed once we kicked off
Very nice Place
Awesome, great resort
Nice Family Resort for cheap
We visited Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort for 4 nights with our 3 year old daughter. Arrival and checkin was simple. Your bags have to be scanned prior to entering the resort and no cars can drive right up to the door so that was a nice security benefit. We didn't leave the resort in our short time there but we noted many shops in a close walking distance when we were driving. We were able to quickly register for meals at the special restaurant and overall the food variety was nice. Not much 'American' food but a good variety and very clean and fresh. They have a kids menu available at every meal also. Our room was in the same building as reception, it didn't seem worth an extra money to upgrade to a ocean view. The room itself was spacious, clean and in general good shape. They had a problem with ants and mosquitoes so bring insect repellant! The pools were a bit cold for the season but they had a few heated pools which were very nice. The spa was very reasonably priced and a nice experience. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Not much scheduled activities to do in the early evening. Pools all close at sunset along with beach areas and beach bars. I'd prefer to be able to go to those areas in the evening with nice lightening. Overall good experience and you can not beat the price, we would visit again.
Nice reeort
Nice resort. Good private beach. Excellent restaurants.
Good Hotel...Bad Food
It was a nice hotel but the food is aweful.
Good customer service very professional
We enjoyed our stay very friendly and helpful you feel like home
Brilliant resort
I'm really upset I didn't spend more time at the resort! It is an amazing resort and has a range of pools including a private beach! It has a variety of restaurants and the staff are so lovely welcoming! With this hotel you wouldn't have to go and eat anywhere else! Special treatment for our anniversary too!
Beautiful Views
I enjoyed having the option of pools or beach. The car service at the hotel was very responsive and helpful. Food was OK - not a 5-star restaurant but enjoyed the food at the Shis Bish restaurant and the shisha after. Spa was OK too - very enthusiastic staff. Had a great facial. Wish I had longer to stay and explore the shopping and local restaurants more.
Peaceful beautiful resort
We really loved Sharm, the weather and the people. It was really a fantastic experience for us. This resort was lovely and the Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a slight hiccup the day we arrived. As we arrived on the day of a really bad storm, therefore the room we were allocated was wet. When we spoke to reception we were automatically moved to a better and bigger room, this was much appreciated. Our room was located near the main restaurant which was perfect to make our way to eat and to the lifts to get to the main pool area. The hotel had different restaurants, roughly about seven. The main restaurant served a buffet menu which was decent and the Staff extremely polite and helpful. I would recommend going all inclusive if you plan to just stay at the resort. We organised our quad bikes and water activities with the hotel which was really good and we felt more secure and safe organising with them.
A very luxurious hotel on the beach.
An excellent one except for some maintenance and clearness concerns.
Lovely setting close to beach
Had a great week straight after Christmas. Pools and beach were very nice. All of the staff were incredible; wouldn't hesitate in recommending. Hope to go back later this year.
The hotel is in a quite location but....
hotel is in a quite location (from busy naama bay),yet there's plenty of things to do around. The king delux room was very nice and clean and definetly better than in photos, the matresses were really comfortable, However the all-inclusive in the hotel is not really all-inclusive at all,you have to pay extra money for imported drinks...etc, you can go dine every night at the main restaurant, however to go to any other a la carte restaurant you have to book 2 days in advance,We upgraded to all-inclusive for only 2 days and couldn't find a reservation at the italian restautant for the two days, whenever you go to the beach bar or anywhere else for that matter the waiters have to sell something which is not in the all inclusive menu, another downside to it is that people there try to sell you all kind of stuff, from massage, beauty salon,treatments,excursions....etc..., Regarding the food at the main restaurant, the breakfast was the same everyday but it was ok,the dinner on both nights were terrible though with so little variety...the staff there ranges from being good and polite and helpful especially at the main restaurant and most had a smile on their face,to being not that helpful/hospitable with no smile on their face like in the beach bar....the hotel facilities and the views in the hotel was very nice though...however if you really want a true all inclusive hotel that exceeds all the qualities offered at the hilton,Rixos Hotel is a must try(delicious food, beautiful staff...etc

Fantastic hotel and staff
Just absolutely fantastic, best holiday in a long time.
Nice hotel forvacation
hiegh standard stylish with wide beach presentabl pools
Doesn't live up to expectations
The hotel itself is lovely, well laid out, clean and well maintained. The food, as part of the all inclusive option is disappointing. There is very little variety in the all inclusive menu and at every turn they try to persuade you to upgrade and choose from the a la carte menu, with two of the restaurants giving a discount off the cost for all inclusive guests and one not providing a discount (so you end up paying twice for your evening meal). Most guests we spoke to had tummy problems, regardless of how careful they were. Also, no free wifi which is disappointing in this day and age. Plus my so call luxury pedicure was brutal, so much so that I screamed in pain and I refused the second free pedicure!
I love the Hilton waterfall resort
The hotel was beautiful, from the private beach to the pools the upkeep was amazing. Staff were always friendly and helpful, room service was very fast and equally helpful whenever we needed something. I would definitely visit again, it's suitable for families as well as couples or friend groups, there's something for everyone.
Just fantastic
We have now stayed at this hotel 3 times, with each visit as good as the previous! You just can't beat the service, or standards at the hotel! It's got something for everyone too... From swim up pool bar, to scuba diving & tennis, films, wifi and on and on!! The Russians are the only turn off, who can be a bit abrasive at times.... But it doesn't worry us to much to be honest!
great hotel for every one
very helpful staff. good facilties for all including children. we did not have full board as that would have been repetitive...most of the other guests had full board and whilst they were very pleased with their arrangement, they thought the food was repetitive. Excellent hotel for us and by all accounts for others too.
Not bad for the Price
Staff were very nice, but the hotel places too much emphasis on selling extras such as internet access and meal promotions. The rooms were nice, but need some renovation. The restaurants were ok. Great location.
Nice Hotel, Not 5 stars, Bad food, No Wifi in room
I use Hotels.com and love it. This is a nice hotel but not 5 stars. Large rooms. The room needed some basic repairs and a good painting. Nice people and great seafront location but you have to use Taxis to go anywhere. The food was really tasteless! shame as it was bouffe. Not free Wifi in this time and age is a real shame.
Good
the hotel has a perfect location
A wonderful time by the Red Sea..
The hotel was grand!. manicured lawns, beautiful landscaping and great food and service makes this property one of the best beach-side resorts we've experienced. Highly recommended.
grate hotel to recomend friends n family
good location paivate beach ex.view frm room not going up n down in lift was grate
A perfect choice in Sharm
This is one of the best hotels in Sharm El Sheikh. We alwais stay in here while in Egypt
Very nice place for families
Great for families and good entertainment place the location is great and very professional staff with nice recreational centre and easy access to mOst of locations in sharm
Location not good Plus hidden extras
Hotel Room badly needed refurbishing and Tiled Floor needs replacing Cleaned every day but Staff fighting loosing battle as badly needs updating.Cheapest Wine £20.00 a bottle on Wine List Egytian White but added to this was Service charge 12% plus Local Taxes 1.25% nearly £23.00 per bottle. Same Wine at Supermarket £7.00 Hotel has strict policy not to bring food or drink into Hotel. We were Bed and Breakfast ,Food very good and plenty at Breakfast.Evening Meals which we had was of a good Standard but all prices subject to Serve charge plus local taxes.Would we stay here again No.
no wifi in room
NO Wi FI in room, only public areas at USD3.00 per 15 minutes, one time log on ( logon for 1 minute, cost US$3.00. not enough umbrellas at pool. food is fair and beer is $5.00 small size. hotel taxi is 50% more than street taxi, walk outside and get taxi. lot's of mosquetos in June, do not know about other times.
Disappointing
The hotel setup is good and the staff is very nice and helpful but then again Egytians in general are mostly nice and friendly. However the hotel facility and room quality is not a five stars standard and certainly below what one expect for the price paid. The breakfast buffet is disapointing and the same every day. Everything in the hotel is expensive and nothing is free. By the time one finish paying for everything the daily room rate would have doubled. One can get better value for money at half price in 4 stars hotels in Sharm.
This hotel is amazing!!!
I went to this hotel on my trip to Egypt, and it definately made my stay the best that it could be! The rooms were high quality, and I must say, the food was fantastic! However, the Tipsy Turtle Bar was a bit too tipsy for me :-P Hahahahahahahaha! Besides that, this hotel rocks!
Excellent
We had a truly unforgettable experience, starting with the arrangements Shady made for airport pickup at after long flight. We got first class treatment from Ossama & Shady during checkin, as we upgraded to all inclusive and in relocating our son. We ended up with rooms 1117 & 1118, very clean, well appointed, great location and great views. The staff were warm, very polite and made every effort to assist. Junior Sous chef Mohamed Gomaa got the prize for going the extra mile (GEM)- when my wife complained about not seeing cheese cake, in ten minutes he came back with 2 nicely garnished plates with cheese cake. We are ready to go back
housam m almhdi abdou

very nice hotel, friendly staff. I enjoyed my staying there.
Hilton Waterfalls Resort - Only worth 3 stars
This should not be a 5 star hotel at all. I've had better nights in 3 star hotels. Where to begin.... - Tried 2 different rooms, but the service was so bad changing rooms that I didn't want to try moving again - AC in room was barely working - TV had no reception (even for the hotel's own self promotion channel didn't work, although somehow the staff tried to blame that on the cable company even though it was all delivered by satelight) - The bed was hard as a rock (my ribs are still sore from sleeping on it) - The pool table/foosball/darts were all either broken or so poorly maintained it was embarrasing - Service in the restaurants/bar was abysmal and the quality of the food was pretty poor - Room service was twice the price of local restaurants (expected for a 5 star hotel) but tasted HORRIBLE and was cold 2 of the 3 times we ordered from it - The lift to the pools was so slow it was faster to just take the stairs not to mentioned it was broken more times than I think it worked - No good organization for the sports facilities (difficult to get balls, etc) - No organization for the pool tables/table tennis (people could hog the table for hours without letting others play - they should at least have ground rules for others to join the play or challenge the other players like you have in almost any other place you go!) - How hard would it be to add a couple more table tennis tables? - The beach was tiny and the area that you can swim in so restrictive and small it is hardly worth even counting it as being on the ocean It does have a lovely setting however. I'm sure when it was first built it was likely as good as it was intended, but clearly poor maintenance, poor service, poor equipment and ultimately poor management has left this hotel feeling more like a 3 or 4 star. If you really want a good hotel I'd probably check out the Ritz or one of the many other newer hotels poping up all over Sharm as they would likely be in much better condition.
Beach closed!
I stayed at this hotel in the end of January 2011 and was surprised to arrive and learn the beach was closed. I found nothing about this when reading on the hotels website where it instead said there was snorkling on site. So if you want to snorkel and swim in the sea check somewhere else if the beach there and in the rest of Sharm is open or not. I took a boat to Tiran Island where I was able to snorkel.
Not more than 2 days
We stayed two nights at the hotel after backpacking through Egypt. We wanted to relax a few days at the beach. For that, the hotel was perfect. Culturally it is however cero. Nothing to do with Egypt, as all of Sharm. The hotel was good for 2 days, we would however not stay longer. Just good for people that like to do nothing during their holidays, and people that are afraid of getting in touch with a foreing culture.
Good service, bad food
The hotel was great and staff friendly. The major problem of the hotel is food which was tasteless. We had enough after 2 days. The hotel is a great location for diving with it's own diving school or even better Camel Diving Centre in the hotel next to Waterfalls.
best location
i was there for 6 days with my wife and my 3 year's old kid we realy enjoy very nice place very friendly pepol we will go back soon ...
Beautiful water, could use more beach
Lots to do, snorkel, dive, glass bottom boat, get a lot of sun by the beach (not very much sand space) or lay by the many pools to choose from. The buffet food was not that great, but there were other restaurants to choose from, which I highly suggest. The staff was great and very friendly. Our room had an ocean view from every room. Good for family trips.
Very nice hotel outside, great
Very nice hotel outside, great watterfalls, pools, etc. The rooms are very big, spacious, but a little bit old - not too much, but for a 5 star hotel should be renovated soon. Minus is also the beach. You have great opportunity for snorkelling, but almost no chance to swim. Otherwise nice hotel, good ( not perfect) food, very nice loby, not to expensive.
Dr.Emad
excellent
fantastic resort
the venue and location were awesome.we rearly enjoyed ourselves but the pools should have been opened a bit longer. Closing at 6pm in that location with the heat in summer was dissappoiting and evening swimming would have been great.
Not the holiday for the disabled, or the elderly.
Not the hotel for disabled, or elderly. For safety reasons, no taxis allowed inside gates, so fair walk to hotel reception. Hotel is built on a very steep hill, and the venecular railway provides the only access to all amenities, but they stop at 11pm and then you ask for a hotel buggy. Venecular was not working the week before we arrived, but luckily one was ok , or we would have had to have gone to another Hotel. Buffet breakfast was very good but when we tried to book for one of the other 3 restuarants on site for an evening meal they were "fully booked". Very isolated, nearest town taxi ride away.. although reasonable in price. The Ocean College Diving Center was excellent. very friendly, helpful, reliable and professional. We had great fun time on boats. Brillant holiday for young, active people who only want the pools, sea and food!
relaxing
hotel is about 10 years old and is starting to show some signs of wear, both beds were decidely sunk in the middle, cleaning was very average, seems to consist of emptying water on the floors and squeeging out the residue.Chef at live cooking station for breakfast refused to give anybody any of the eggs he was cooking indicating they should be taked from chafing dish instead where they were all hard and dried up, if you want a sunnyside up egg you need to bung the waiter a couple of pounds.Food choices in lebanese restaurant for paying guest very poor. Chose not to eat in the hotel except breakfast, must cheaper and better outside of hotel. I would stay here agin however but certainly would not award it 5 star more like 3.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel
We had a lovely stay at this hotel over christmas and new year. The service was always very friendly and food better than I was expecting from a buffet type situation. The hotel is situated a short drive from the main areas but the private reef with good snorkelling made up for this for us.
Great, friendly hotel
The Hilton Waterfalls is about 30 mins from the airport and once there we didn't need to leave. We stayed for two nights and just wanted to relax. We were really pleased with the levels of service - very friendly staff and the hotel facilities were very good and clean. There are several restaurants and pools. I recommend the massage by the pool and also snorkling off the hotel jetty! There is a furnicular (sideways lift) from the pool to the main restuarant/lobby area which is quite different. This resort, like many in Sharm el Sheikh, is big and quite busy. If you want to get a lounger you need to be by the pool by 9.30 for example. There is a small (touristy) bazaar and a cinema type complex within walking distance and a shuttle bus to Naama bay though we didn't try the latter two, they may be a good option for a longer stay.
Genuinly Brilliant
The hotel could not have been more perfect and we were really very pleasently suprised. The staff were amazingly friendly and would bend over backwards to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were huge and had plenty of space and were always extremely clean. Our maid even made sculptures out of towls for us everyday e.g. a swan, turtle etc!! The only slight downer i could put on this hotel would be the food, breakfast was brilliant but lunch and dinner rely to much on a buffet every night which isn't always to everyones taste, although, that said, there was always plently of choice. To sum up, i'd definately stay here again and i would not hesitate to recommend it to friends, thank you Hilton for a lovely stay!
great hotel, beautiful views water etc.
I enjoyed my stay it was s beautiful, hot weather be aware of the weather before you go. Bring mosquito repelant. The location was great good food great hospitality.Clean nice rooms everything you need and a great location.Sea is beautiful and right there.Diving and all sports right there.Great stores in il mercado great stores with great egyptian stuff cool prices buy from the store with these big statues they look expensive but they carry everything and will work with you on prices (it is kind of in the corner they are soo nice across from hardees)
Sharming
Good hotel in a good location (about 10/15 minutes from Naama bay and about 25 mins from the Airport). Lots of swimming pools and good snorkling access from the hotel beach. The beach itself is, however, very small. Depending on your room can take about ten minutes to get to reception/main restaurant or the beech. Staff very friendly and helpful. Old Market and Il Mercato shopping nearby

Everything was great! Nice hotel with good location!
