We thought that the property was very nice, well maintained and comfortable. Everything exceeded our expectations with the exception of daily housekeeping of our room and restocking of the mini bar. These services were somewhat unpredictable and we had to contact them on two occasions to make sure that our room was cleaned.

I would have given a five star, however, the sound proofing is not very good. You can hear everything from the outside, from conversations to service carts. I did not sleep well at all. If you are a heavy sleeper then this resort is for you as everything else is top notch. The food, amenities and recreational team are great.

Hotel reception staff was beyond rude and disrespectful. I had a guest for one of my 5 nights and in his license was held for the night. Him And I walked through the lobby and a staff member approached us and demanded payment for my guest for the entire stay. Him and I were on our way to a dinner reservation and security held us and wouldn’t let us leave until the whole stay was paid for for my guest. He asked for his license back and they wouldn’t give that either. Several employees stood near us refusing to let us leave and they used walkie-talkies to speak with the security gate to not allow a cab to come get us. Horrible, horrible situation being held against our will in a foreign country!!!

Hotel, staff great-food horrendous

I was very disappointed in the restaurants food quality. The hotel, pool and staff were all great. Beach chair sitch sux someone needs a better way to figure out people and the towel/chair “save” thing but that’s it. The food is what makes the price and the food for me this time was terrible. Went last year and enjoyed but won’t go back next year.

We had a great time at Hilton Cancun Mar Caribe Resort. The room was great, very spacious and with everything we need, I just wish we had more space to hang dry our swimsuits. The bed was 10/10, minibar too. The hotel was amazing, very pretty. The only turn off was the dining options, the buffet wasn’t that good, but the Italian and the steakhouse were pretty decent. The coffee shop was very nice, very convenient. I just expected more from such a nice hotel. One more thing, the bar by the pool was closed by 6pm. Too early. The kids space was very fun, my daughter loved it. Overall, our experience was very good and I would totally come back. It was perfect for 4 nights. We also went out to visit Chichen Itza, Tulum and Cancun downtown.

We went to grab a snack at 1pm, was gone for 15 minutes we left our towels and drinks at the pool chairs. We came back to all of our stuff gone and the chairs packed away for an event they had at 3pm!!! there were other people all around us but they were allowed to stay, ours was packed up bc we got up! crazy. When confronting the employees none of them spoke english at all, usually resorts have good english speaking employees but this one barley had any. it goes to show how low class they are they don’t pay for decent employees. Very bad experience, also they have bed bugs me and my wife have bites all over our legs and i’ve never experienced so many bugs at a hotel. I frequent cancun 4-5x a year and will never stay at a hilton again. I’ve had best experience and Riu’s. and hyatt.

This is a great property for families! Lots of food options. The kids club was amazing and my children did not want to leave. Always events going on around the pool and unique experiences like drink mixing/tastings and ceviche making for an added bonus. The whole hotel was recently renovated so is very modern. One of my favorite things had to have been wristbands that worked as door keys

The purpose of the trip was to celebrate my son's birthday however they did nothing to make his day special. We updgraded to the Enclave but that means nothing to them. We requested a reservation at the Steak house for his birthday and the concierge told us he would take care of it. The morning of his birthday, the concierge comes to us and tells us that our reservation had been cancelled by one of us in their app which was not true - he forgot to make the reservation and tried blaming us then he blamed the other concierge. They did not offer any special decorations or even send him a cake to the room which I thought was poor service as many other resorts have gone above and beyond to make his birthday extra special. Needless to say, we won't be going back. Another downside, they only have one buffett area and limited dining options. Their nightly entertainment was really bad. Needless to say, we won't be going back there.

I booked a 3-night stay in a 2 Queen Bed room through Expedia because I was traveling with my child and specifically needed two beds. I arrived at the hotel around 5 PM, but the check-in process was extremely slow—I had to wait in line for an hour. The front desk then told me they were "upgrading" me to a larger room, but when I entered the room, it only had one king bed. I went back to the front desk and queued again to request the two-bed room I had booked. They reassigned me another room, but once again, it was a king bed. At this point, I felt like they were just messing with me. When I returned to the front desk for the third time, they finally admitted that they didn’t have any rooms of the same category with two beds and told me to check again the next day. They also blamed Expedia, saying that while Expedia lists the room as having two beds, their own website states it could be either one king or two queens. So does that mean I need to cross-check every booking on the hotel’s own website before using Expedia? The next day, I went to the front desk again, only to be told the same thing—there were no two-bed rooms of the same category available. But this time, I caught the difference in their wording: they weren’t saying there were no two-bed rooms at all, just none in the same category. So why couldn’t they offer me a different category? After a long discussion, they finally agreed to give me a two-bed room in a different category.

Overall the hotel is great. Great stuff, food, service. However the drinking water quality as well as orange juice quality is questionable. The water and juice is served in the restaraunt. Bottled water is much better. Also, the hot tubs are not actually hot.

Nice family resort, food is good, staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty activities for kids and even has a drop in option with awesome activities. Nice spa for couples too. My only complaint it was the rooms needs update - stained walls, worn out showers. Cleanliness could have been better..but we also have been there in the busiest week of the year. All being said, I would still go back and definitely recommend to families. The ups supercedes the downs.

The beach was definitely the best part. Beautiful water, cool beach bar, and lots of seating. The pools were also great with the swim up bar. Hibachi was my favorite dinner for sure. The Brazilian steak house was also awesome. I will be returning

We've been to Cancun over 40 times and try different resorts each time. We decided to splurge and do the Hilton Resort. Big mistake. Food was bland. Bars close at 11 PM. Be prepared to wait in long lines for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of empty tables but very slow staff seating you. You will wait upwards of 30 minutes in lines going out the door to get a seat at one of the 50 open tables! Just doesn't measure up to our stays at different Riu resorts!

We stayed in this property for 3 nights in February. We really liked the property in general, and there are some really good restaurants on the property. Everything was good except for the day we were about to leave the property; we found peanuts in our oats at breakfast. Now, both my kids have serious life-threatening issues with tree nuts and peanuts, and the restaurant also made it clear when we placed the order. Looking at the nuts in the oats made us realize that even after making it clear that we need nut-free food, the restaurant was not careful. When we asked them, they said it happened by mistake. Their mistake could have cost us a lot in this life. My kids were about to eat the oats, and by God's grace, I just noticed. I would suggest this property to people who don't have any food allergies, but definitely not to those who do. They clearly are not very cautious in that area. We stayed in another property before this one, and the staff was very careful in handling our food requests.

I would say that generally we had a good time - our small family of 4 with two kids under 6. The property is nicely updated, and rooms are very clean and comfortable - we stayed in one of the ocean front rooms with a Juliet balcony and it was plenty good for our family. The waterpark was small but perfect for the kids, and the "enclave" status allowed us to get access to the roof top pools which was great for our little kids since they were shallower, and a nice quiet break overall. The service was generally good, though the check-in process was confusing and unorganized - it seemed as though they were trying to avoid the perception of a line for the "enclave" status crowd, and it just ended up taking more time to check-in - I think a bit more clarity on the process - maybe a greeter letting you in on the ropes - would have been helpful. The food was the only truly disappointing part of the vacation - the reservation-only restaurants were good, but it was very difficult to get reservations for most of them even 3 days ahead, and there was only 1 other restaurant option with a buffet that was TERRIBLE. The food there felt recycled and there was not sufficient variety - overall very poor quality. There was an additional ice cream shop (which was a fan favorite for our kids) and then a hamburger area on the pool deck which was not very good and a ceviche spot on the roof top area which was also not great. Generally I expected more for the money and for a Hilton property

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Amazing Stay! Our experience at the Hilton Mar Caribe in Cancún was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The hotel is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and beautifully maintained facilities. The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with super comfortable beds that made it hard to leave in the morning! The food was good—whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was enjoyable. Now to the beach, the location is unbeatable. The water is crystal clear, and the hotel provides plenty of loungers, so we never had to worry about finding a spot. The pool area was also fantastic, with great service and a relaxing vibe. What really made our stay memorable was the hospitality of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect vacation. Whether it was restaurant recommendations, booking excursions, or simply greeting us with a smile, their service was top-notch. We can’t wait to come back! I have stayed at other resorts in Cancun and this was my first time staying at Hilton. Very disappointing experience, staff were overwhelmed not friendly at all and don’t speak basic English for example at the rest we asked for a fork and a bowl was brought to us.. dinning places would run out of food 2 to 3hrs before closing and huge line to get into breakfast place.. room service horrible had to wait over two hours to have a small meal delivered. Cleanness okay could’ve been better. Overall not worth the money spend on this resort! Would not recommend it to anyone single or a family.

We stayed for a week, and durning the week it was wonderful but towards the end of our stay we saw other guest not being treated right, witch gave us a different outlook, i understand that it’s a non smoking hotel, but i feel like if you have one smoking area you should have others as well. when we first got there my fiancé looked the safe and redid the code and wouldn’t work and when we asked for help they kept sending a new person up, then the guy that got there told my fiancé he was going to be charged for opening it. not sure what the deal is with the pool closing at 8 but i feel like that a little too early when you pay all that money to stay there. I’m not sure if we will be returning there again.

Room service was never picked up and was left for 3 days until we checked. I paid for a Valentine's day suprise for decoration and desserts in the room and it was never delivered. Card charved twice also. Frigidaire was broke. And would keep cold the entire trip

We asked no less than 4 times to have the toilet fixed without resolution or even the opportunity to have a different room. Because of that we had to use the lobby restroom …. Unacceptable!

I stayed for 5 days with my 3 kids ages 5, 4 and 2. The kids spent most of their time in the pool and at kids club. Our room was great, it was on the ground floor with a balcony directly across the north pool, super convenient however a bit noisy. This is the pool where all the day time activities take place so it got very loud for nap but we managed. One of the main reasons i picked this hotel was because of the kids water slides, however my kids only went the first day and didn't care to go back as the water was too cold there. All pools are 5ft except for the kiddy pool which is hardly knee deep, but cold. The kids club was great, they had amazing activities, i wish i remebered their names, but most of them were great with the kids. My 5 yo loved that they had nintendo switch for their use. My only complain was their open hrs were different everyday. I wish they had more entertainment for adults like pool tables, boardgames etc, **** food. This was a tricky one for us that i didnt expect to be this hard. We only eat halal meat so we hoped to have enough seafood options. There was a few instances where there was only ONE small option of shrimp at the buffet restaurant. One day my kids just had pasta for lunch. The snacks by the pool were limited to veggie or cheese pizza because the other options were burger or hot dogs. Book restaurants in advance. Maxal and noriku were great. The steak food at vela buffet looked good but we couldnt have it.

My friend and I had a great time. The room was perfect, with comfortable beds and a spectacular sea view, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The pool gymnastics were fun, and, although we didn't spend much time on the beach, it was beautiful. We tried all the dining options and each was better than the last. We were very pleased that we chose this hotel and would choose it again!

This was our first time at this Hilton resort and it was nothing short of amazing. The food was great at every restaurant and the service was top notch. All of the workers hustled and made sure we were taken care of. As a family, we loved the pool and all of the entertainment and activities throughout the day. We truly loved our stay and will certainly be going back!

The resort is nice and staff is friendly. I would probably not book this again for an extended stay. This is simply because I prefer an all adult location. If you're traveling with children, this could be an acceptable destination. There are multiple pools and multiple options for food and drink. However, be mindful of the time of day because most of them closed by 8:00 PM There was a 24/7 snack bar, but it too was very limited on offerings. If you happened to miss any of the buffets or restaurants, the resort offered 24/7 room service with a pretty big list of items.

Stayed at the property 2nd week of February. Traveled with my wife and our 3 year old boy. Beach was beautiful, very blue. I’m not sure if it’s always like this but it was rough during our stay. Huge waves. No one was really swimming in the water except a few brave people. Food was ok at the resort. The Buffett was actually better than I expected. The line for breakfast was too long so after we tried it the first day we just ordered room service breakfast the remainder of the trip. That was much better. Our favorite meal with our boy was at the teppanyaki. It was entertaining. Of note: the portions are on the smaller side at the restaurants. Smaller than American portions of that’s what you’re used to. The splash pad area was great for little ones. Lots of people with small kids around. Entertainment at the hotel was better than expected! Dance party every night at Chala Bar. Before that, they have live music in the lobby which was good. The twins group was really fun they had one night in the lobby. All the staff was nice, no complaints there. The hotel needs to add hand sanitizer stations to the buffet areas! Also, in case you’re wondering. We booked private transportation to and from the hotel. Once inside the hotel zone we used uber to get around. No problems. Took the xcaret ferry to isla Mujeres one day and explored on a golf cart there. The water on the west side of the island is absolutely beautiful. All in all, it’s a good, clean, and safe resort to take a family.

Not many hassle agent/salesman around. No time share. Love the clean and modern look of the room. Doesn't smell like mold or wetness like other AI I have been to. Beach water was the highlight. Different varieties of food for everyone. Tons of activities for kids. It was a relaxing trip and making memories with our love one.

Not impressed.

Not very clean. You would see empty glasses and plates all over the place and not picked up for 2 to 3 days. Public bathrooms would be missing paper towels quite often. Didn't get any room service one day.

While the properties facilities and cleanliness are good, the quality of food and service in the restaurants was below par for the price we paid. Most of the waiters served with no interest and it seemed like a chore to them. Only Daniel at La Luce and Coolio at Noriko were good. Even though the buffet breakfast was supposed to be open till 11 am- there were 2 days when we were told that we couldn’t get extra tea around 10:45am saying they were closing up. Same happened 3 days in a row at Coco bar which closes at 5pm. One day we asked for a daiquiri at 4:30 and we were told that all drinks that required a blender to make were not available as they were cleaning up. Another day we asked for a Aperol spritz at 4:40 and were told that only beer was available. The quality of food at the buffets breakfast and lunch were repititive. There were no labels by the food so didn’t know what meat’s they were- beef, pork, chicken all looked same. Overall a 4 for the property but 3 for food. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here.

I did not like the fact that there was not a chair in the hotel room- so I’m lounging by the pool and then when I’m in the room there is an uncomfortable bench. Also I would have loved a room where I had a balcony to sit out on- I had a small balcony. I also had no idea about anything going on at the hotel- usually you get a notice. I would come back but with a definite reservation requesting a balcony

Front desk and conceirge service was okay, can do better. Food was average in the buffet. Dine-in restaurant options and night shows were good. Location is great and beach area is also very nice. Enclave rooms were farther from majority of the main activity area. They recently changed their policy and didn’t allow us to extend check-out without additional charge even though we had kids and our flight was in the evening

Restaurants were very understsffed during peak season (christmas), servers were running around the whole time but it took forever to get us water and utensils. Expect to wait 2.5hrs minimum to get into restaurants unless 1) you are ok with having buffet for every meal. Or 2) you are ok with lining up 30mins prior to resraueant opening hours.

The Hilton was a nice place on the ocean. The beach was one of the nicest we’ve been too. The facility is still working out some kinks. Nothing major but small things like room service not restocking simple items. (Coffee, sugar, shampoo, mini bar) The buffee restaurant was over crowded with long lines just to get a table for breakfast, didn’t make sense why there would ever be a line but again a small thing. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

The staff are exceptionally good. They were all friendly, attentive and helpful. The room we had with the balcony was comfortable and well stocked. The only issue was the rooftop bar party every night was really loud and right below our room outside the pool area. It ended around 11 pm. We couldn’t hear the TV. If we were in our room before the party, music or band ended. It was mainly an issue the first night cause we had traveled that day and been up very early. The pools and ground areas were very pretty and maintained well. Easy access to the beach from the pool, too. We enjoyed the hibachi restaurant and the buffet at breakfast and the dinner buffet with the Brazilian meat skewers. I wasn’t very fond of the Italian restaurant and the steak house restaurant was just ok. The spa was relaxing and well equipped. My facial was very thorough. Overall a very nice place. It had a lot of families with young children so if you’re looking for a more adult inclusive resort this wouldn’t be the best choice for you.

Excellent Hotel. Some of the Employee were very good about excellent. On the other hand, some of the Employee did not met that expectation. overall, very good Hotel. I noticed some of the Employee expecting tips for the excellent service , that should not be the case. overall, this is a very good hotel and will definitely go back.
