Lovely hotel in a great location. Very good accommodations and Christmas decor!

Only 20 minutes from the Brown County Music Center and a few restaurants around to grab a quick bite before heading to the show.

Overall, we wete verg satisfied with our stay here. Our only complaint was the random trash laying around the room. There were wads of tissue in random places. There was toilet paper on one of the fire extinguisher spouts above a bathroom. The pool was perfect and very clean. Breakfast had a good variety and well maintained.

Very friendly staff. Check-in and check-out were simple and quick. The kitchen staff was very helpful and nice. Location was quaint and quiet. Just a short drive to Edinburg Outlet Mall. We will definitely stay again if in the area!

The hotel was wonderful as always. My only issue was that we had to wait an hour and 30 minutes for our room when we have a 3 o’clock check-in.

Broken elevator

Would have been an excellent stay, but they had problems with the elevator It wasn't working and being on the second floor was kind of painting the neck bringing everything down or we're getting ready to check out other than that, the place is very nice and very clean. Staff is very friendly.

The only complaint I have is the pool. Although it was very clean the chemicals were so strong it was burning my eyes and gave me a headache and I didn’t even swim. Had to make my granddaughter get out after a bit because it was making me sick.

We were on the second floor this year. A lot of noise above us. Didn't like that

This place was amazing! We will definitely be returning. Beautiful large community area. Pool, hot tub, small basketball court, grill and great outdoor seating. The room was spacious and clean. One of the nice places I’ve stay in a very long time.

Everything was great except the lady that worked in the kitchen. She was very rude to people. She yelled at my granddaughter twice. The hotel was beautiful. Front desk guy was awesome, really appreciate all his help.

Nice and spacious room but not cleaned well

The hotel overall is very nice! The only complaint is the room cleanliness. The staff was friendly, the room was very nice and spacious, bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good and breakfast staff were friendly, the location was great. The room itself appeared to have not been cleaned. I think maybe they emptied trash, put in new towels and changed sheets and that was all. We first noticed the soap tray was not cleaned and had soap all over it so we didn’t use it. After that, we noticed that surfaces were not wiped down and many parts were sticky. There was no toilet paper on holder and there was hair on bathroom floor. We ended up getting Clorox wipes before we went to dinner and I wiped everything down when we got back to the room. Very nice and spacious room but the room wasn’t cleaned well at all. Hopefully that was a rare occurrence but we’ve never stayed here before so not sure.

Nice Property in a convenient location

This property is much like one would expect from the brand. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. This property is located in a quiet area on the west end of Columbus. There are several shopping choices nearby and endless dining within 5 - 10 minutes. Nashville is about 15 minutes to the west for even more options. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. The TV had okay selection of channels, but the added streaming apps (including YouTube and Netflix) more than made up for the limited channels. There are two USB ports on the desk; I would like to see them bedside, but this is a convenient feature. Internet was quite good for hotel of this size. The pool and fitness room were clean and everything in good working order. Fitness room treadmills are in great shape, and they have dumbbells up to about 50 pounds. Small room but good enough for quick workout. Staff was all friendly, including the breakfast folks. Breakfast was pretty limited, but it is free. I am not a big fan of turkey sausage, but the eggs, oatmeal, and fresh fruit made a decently healthy breakfast. I would certainly stay here again.

Comfy in Columbus

Our week-end trip to Columbus was wonderful. Our suite was spacious and the furniture was arranged so we had lots of space. The breakfast was delicious, with the attendants constantly cleaning the surfaces. Everywhere we went in the hotel was spaoless. Our first stay will not be our last!

Very nice property and clean

Great hotel near the Brown County State Park

Everything about our stay was excellent, with one exception: the only well lit part of the room was the bathroom part. While there were lamps in all parts, the bulbs were very weak, so to read a book or map or ..., you needed to go to the bathroom, where the "furniture" was less comfortable. Otherwise, everything from cleanliness, a variety of comfortable chairs, a well designed way to watch TV, from the bed or the "living room", to the excellent bed and the excellent breakfast. If we want to go back to this scenic part of Indiana, this is good place to stay!!

Well appointed room.

The hotel was beautiful and seemed very new. The only issue was that everything in the room was pretty dusty.

We heard nothing in our room!

The staff was nice and welcoming

Hotel was nice & quite, however one lady at the desk was rude & not pleasant at all. Was also disappointed that we were there from Monday to Saturday & not once did they clean our room. So back to said lady...we butted heads about our room not being cleaned when she tried to tell me she didn't tell me that our room would be clean on Friday & never was. Will not stay again.

Great place to stay

Excellent hotel

Despite the fact the property looks decent from side with a clean welcoming lobby, the carpet in the hallways and in the rooms produce terrible odor. It was so bad that I had go in my car to fetch a cologne to spray the room to be able to sleep. It was so discomfortable!

wonderful room

Property was clean .. negative- horrible customer service and all weekend their where no towels and a big hamper full of dirty wet towels for the pool .

Property had great amenities, with a basketball sports court and a fire pit

The hotel was ok , but the part that really bothered us is we wanted to go enjoy the whirlpool Saturday and couldn’t due to a bunch of guys being very loud and disturbing!!! I didn’t feel safe going down there with them drunk, running into things, and saying inappropriate things. We really thought something would have been said but nothing was and we told the staff member at the front desk the morning after and he was just glad he wasn’t on duty.

Very clean room and nicely cooled for sleeping comfort! It’s at the outskirts of town and a little secluded area off the main thoroughfare and therefore also more safe for your vehicle!

Not Marriott Standard

Not Marriott standard we are used to. (Caveat- first stay since covid). First room had cleanliness issues around shower, not full dishes stocked and toilet seat snapped in half during use. Staff didn’t apologize for issue but did swap rooms due to maintenance being off for Thanksgiving. Acted somewhat like it was a normal experience. Heat would turn off in middle of day (between normal check out and check-in times) like there was an override somewhere in the main office. The greeting upon arrival after waiting about 5-10 mins for someone to come to the desk (around 3:30pn) was to tell my kids the pool is open but be sure only to use 1 pool towel (we are respectful and had never stayed here before and maybe they had an issue before but its an odd way to great guests at a Marriott. The nets at the basketball court were missing or falling off as well (not a big deal but indication of general status of place. Breakfast was decent but machines were broken and some food like eggs were often cold. I will attach some pictures below. I would say this is an average hotel for a more rural area bur just not whats expected from a Marriott property. Studio is not full kitchen BTW just cooktop- no oven.

My wife is gluten free so traveling takes extra thought. The kitchenette with full fridge (and dishwasher) was nice! All for the equivalent cost of a normal hotel room.

Very clean, quiet. Jaccuzi was awesome but the pool was a little chilly. The breakfast was ok.

Nice place to stay

We enjoyed our stay. The lady at the desk was very nice, the room was very clean and confortable. The only downside was the breakfast was very sparse. Scrambled eggs and turkey sausage first morning and scrambled eggs and pork sausage the second. Also some fruit and dry cereal and pastries.

No ice machine. Need to turn on frig ice maker. Suite was spacious with great kitchen.

Outstanding stay!!

Outstanding service, friendly staff, clean facility and the accommodations were second to none. Highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely be staying here any time that I am in Columbus.

Easy to find, comfortable stay!

Great location. Across from several pizza places and right next to CVS. Easy to find and convenient. Easy check in/out. Room was nice, comfortable beds, nice pillows. Had a concern with the pillow in the bag for the pull out bed. They gave us new, see the photo. Breakfast was par...not really friendly staff or much excitement. The pool and hot tub was great! We would stay again, it's on the higher end $ wise of other places.

Tired of Covid being used as an excuse.

Disappointed and tired of "Covid" being used as an excuse to provide the amenities that customers are paying for, but not receiving. An example is not providing room service but once a week. Changing towels twice a week. Breakfast. Coffee cups were provided for coffee, but if you wanted orange juice or milk, you had to ask for it. The breakfast seating was blocked off causing people to sit in the lobby. What makes the difference? Someone still has to clean up the area and the area was not set up to "social distance". I believe the hospitality industry is taking advantage of people under the premiss of "Covid". If we are not going to receive the services that we are paying for then the prices should be adjusted.

Friendly staff and nice accommodations. We had plenty of room and it was comfortable and clean.

Enjoyed our stay. Liked the large room suite with 2 baths/bedrooms and sofa sleeper in living room/kitchen area. Wish the pool/hot tub had been open later. Liked sitting by the fire pit to unwind. We will stay there again.

Loved the pool, hot tub, fire pit, grill that was available, and the basket ball court. Most of all it was clean and the staff was absolutely the most friendliest and the kindest of people!

The staff were very friendly. Gave us information and places to eat and what to see. The room was very clean. Had covid-19 guidelines in place. Sanitizer was everywhere. They weren't doing housekeeping everyday, but all you had to do was request it. I will definitely stay there again.

Excellent place for families

We had to temporarily stay there before our move in to new place. This hotel was excellent and it provided such a comfort. Front desk representatives were really helpful and nice. Breakfast was also good and mainly the room was very neat and tidy.

Great stay for the price! Our carpet had some stains but otherwise it was great! My friends and I have stayed here twice and I would absolutely book again if/when heading to Columbus.

The staff us always friendly. The place is always clean and this place offers alot for the price. Would recommend anyone to stay there. I always see things I could complain about at most places but not here. I cant speak to quality of the breakfast because currently they are limited due to covid but if it's like the rest it will be great too once they are able to lift limitations

Roaches and crumbs

The room was awesome until we saw a roach crawling in the dining area. Then we saw another on the bar and found chip pieces under the counter in the living area. When I told the guy at the counter about the roaches all he said was that I’ve never seen any. At least the two ladies in the morning said they’d have the room cleaned good but that didn’t help our experience. Just hope it will for whomever stays next.

Very clean hotel that offered a hot breakfast option in this time of COVID. They packaged it all for you to take to your room which I thought was thoughtful.

The property was next to an open field which was great for walking our dogs. It was also close to Brown County State park, ideal location.

Found a long black hair on the sheets when we turned the bed down.....

Beyond our expectations

The staff was courteous and helpful. Gave us good ideas on places to visit as we were there to see the fall leaves in Brown County. Met some interesting people in IL, IN, and other places. Good food, clean facility.

Great stay - rooms clean and houskeeping a hughe help

Shower door did not shut completely. Bathroom door very sqeaky! Coffee maker very dirty.

Would stay again. My only complaint is that it said there was free breakfast but it didn’t open until seven and we had to be out the door before then. It would be nice if there was a to go option.

Vacation stay

Considering with Virus issues, we had a very nice room. Breakfast was different, but again due to the Virus. I would definitely stay again.

Clean and spacious

Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel public areas have a very nice vibe. Our room was huge and would be great for an extended stay. Kitchen area was well stocked and very clean. The only two things I can say that are less than stellar are that we could not get our tv to work and I didn't find the mattress very comfortable. We didn't report the tv issue since it was later in the evening.
