clean & great customer service
Comfortable suite type room.
The hotel is where we regularly stay when in town. Nice clean rooms and the kitchen is really nice if you want to prepare something. The mattress was so so and they pillows were limp, would be nice if they provided varying firmness pillows. If you stay in the back side of the hotel the trash pickup in the condos behind the hotel was happening at 2:30am and was loud and annoying.
Happy with the accommodation. Location is convenient and safe. Property did show its age.
This was the second time staying here and we really enjoyed it. Only thing I don’t care for much is that they allow animals and dogs would bark as you walked down the hallway. Like that it’s located near restaurant’s and grocery stores.
No hot water
No hot water. Let the front desk know but nothing was done to fix it.
Horrible
Guna is very DISRESPECTFUL! She charged me $200 for incidentals for an 2 night stay. and they don’t have any in the room. Last time we visited this hotel, they only charged me $40 for incidentals for the 2 night stay. The first room she gave us was 2nd floor and I had requested a found floor room. The room didn’t work for us as my daughter is disabled and needs bars in the bathroom. We then had to wait an hour for a clean room. It was raining and rain came in the room by the bed. I contacted the office but they did nothing but gave me towels. I paid over $300 dollars for a room where I had to keep cleaning the floor so the water wouldn’t get underneath the bed.
all good
Clean and quiet location that has a grocery store just a 2 minute walk from the hotel and if your driving a gas station is just across the street or EV charging station near by
9/10…well worth the price!
The room was truly charming, resembling a cozy studio apartment with thoughtful design elements that made it feel welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring a delightful array of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot options that catered to all tastes. The ADA-compliant bathroom was especially beneficial for my daughter, providing the accessibility she requires due to her disability, with grab bars and ample space for maneuvering her walker. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The carpeted floor posed a significant challenge for my daughter, making it difficult for her to navigate with her walker, as the transition from the kitchen and bathroom which did not have carpet impeded her movement due to the humps. Additionally, the couch in the living area had an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of urine, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere of the room. Overall, it was a great experience and I we will return again.
Just a normal hotel nothing fancy, clean with enough amenities, and the staff was very pleasant
I didn't go and didn't get refund, There were major fires going on in the area and Expedia wouldn't even give me a credit for later date
Convenient location near restaurants and stores, as well as the freeways. As always, the service by staff was excellent, particularly by Diamond.
Reviews of Residence Inn Anaheim
They have a GREAT service. Breakfast is good with GREAT touch of service and cleanliness. The room was good, but walls need some cleaning, especially in the bathroom. The AC was noisy every time that it started. The room needed a face lift.he business center has only one PC and located in the alley. The hotel did not have any tourist/promotional flyers/booklets for use.
Awful
A dirty, rundown hotel. Needs major restoration. Asked for a fresh up after 3 days, 3 times in one day, never showed up. Finally told we had to go pick up towels. In 7 days never had service. Last day water was out from 11:30 until at least 5:00 when we left to shower at our son’s house.
The property is well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and secure.
Place was nice. Air conditioning could use an upgrade, it’s very loud
This is an excellent property. It was very clean, staff was excellent, and the daily breakfast was also very good. We will stay at this property again!
Low Flow Shower Pressure
The shower pressure was horrible! I understand low flow shower heads, but this was absolutely ridiculous. I am all about being eco-friendly and saving water, recyling...etc, but I could not have a shower in the morning. I tried to adjust the adjustable shower flow, but it did not make any difference. It was a bad experience.
Really clean and incredibly sweet and helpful staff. Right next to a nice shopping center and a walking trail!
Really nice area, Clean too. shopping center is 5mins away if needed to go grocery shopping or anything else. There’s like a Ralph’s in the shopping center that’s open till 1am which is pretty dope. Shoutout to Isaiah he’s cool
Clean facility, spacious room, good breakfast.
The breakfast was great! The staff was nice, free parking and free breakfast was wonderful! The rooms itself need some attention. The bed was very comfortable! However in the bathroom there is a lot of rust, also one of the tiles from the bathroom floor was loose.
Good place to a quick stay. Breakfast was usual. Room was comfortable and bed was great. We had an issue with a shower, but they promptly moved us to another room.
It was safe quiet and convenient.
Staff was friendly and easy check-in/check-out process!
We’ve been staying here every year for the past ten years. Our first visits were comfortable and rewarding. However, this property has gone downhill since 2020. The front desk staff and others staff have always been stellar and friendly and competent. The property has aged poorly. Some upgrades in the rooms but also some old non-updated issues such as the bathrooms, showers and general wear on areas in the hallways. Housekeeping will only clean your room if the stay is three or more days. Our stays have been generally for two days and with no housekeeping the rooms look junky and the unseemly. The complementary breakfast has also declined since 2020. Not bad but not the five star we used to experience. Properly staff told us these lack of improvements are due to Covid restrictions that the company has never reversed. We used to give this Marriot property 5 stars. This visit in October 2024 rates a mediocre 3 stars for property issues.
When we got there they gave us the worst room bec it was the only one left but we ask for another room the next night and they happily gave us a much better room. They seems to be accommodating which is I like about the place.
Room was spacious & surrounding area quiet
I’ll continue to stay at this property when visiting family in the area.
No bar or cafe with light snacks
When we drove up to the property it was very beautiful. The front desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, roomy and restful. The room was the best thing about our trip. I would sincerely recommend this property to anyone.
We absolutely loved our stay. Very clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely be returning !
Great stay, except loud alarms.
We visited Anaheim from the valley to see a Dodgers game at Angels stadium. After a lot of research, this hotel had the best reviews. Overall it was clean, not full of guests, great customer service. Didn’t get a chance to try the free breakfast, but there was free parking! We got a suite with full size fridge, stove, microwave. Shower water pressure was great, plenty of towels. No hand soap anywhere though. We saw few guests using the pool, there was a free basketball court, and we used the gym which was open 24 hours and clean. There’s a huge plaza right across with plenty shops, grocery, and food. The only bad part: On our third day there, fire alarms were going off from multiple locations for HOURS. There was no warning of an actual emergency, or of the loud sudden alarms at all. We got a paper slipped through the door on our last day, apologizing for the fire alarm system test they were running from 9am-5pm for two of the days. The alarms were very loud and sudden, some beeps louder and longer than others. Couldn’t tell if it was a real emergency or not, which was a little concerning. I’d say I love this hotel but the alarms could be really bad for elderly, children, or those with sensitive to noise.
We had a great state in the Residence Inn Anaheim Hills Yorba Linda. The staff was very helpful. The room was amazing. Spacious and clean. We had a great time staying in the hotel.
Great Stay
Great experience. The room was spacious. Felt like small apartment. The pool was heated and perfect. Spa. Even had a basketball court i used. Small minus was we thought they were coming by 3rd day of 4 night stay but they never did. Ran out of towels and tp. And cable guide was off so never knew what was on. Bout a half hour from amusement parks. All around great hotel.
Bathroom issues
Bathroom... the floor was destroyed. Tile grout was pullung up and had chunks on the floor. The water was either warm/hot to scalding, zero cold water.
Amazing
Property was nice and quiet, very good neighborhood, and convenient to walk to grocery store. Breakfast was pretty good as well!
.
Good location especially for my trip!
Property is a little older but good for the price if booked well in advance.
Carpet was dirty in the room
We have stayed here multiple times and again, have nothing negative to say. Safe area, lots of parking, quiet, tucked away, helpful and friendly staff, clean property and rooms!
All good 👍
Liked the large, open, comfortable room with kitchenette. Had everything we needed, property was well kept. Only thing we didn't like was the party of young people in the room next to us. The bed was extremely comfortable.
Enjoyable
The room was very clean. It was also comfortable and had all that I needed for a relaxing stay.
Excellent
The bed had a big dip . Woke up with back and hip pain. Might be time to refresh up furniture. Also no exhuast ventilation in bathroom. Stuffy and moldy in ceieling and door.
Needs updating badly
We were staying with our cat while our home was being fumigated. We booked a suite so we could spread out and be comfortable as well as have separate room for the cat to sleep in. What we got was a room that was very small. The smallest hotel suite that I’ve ever stayed in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable albeit smaller than expected. The room very dated and dark. The layout was awkward. The furniture had been well used and was showing it. The couch and hide a bed were extremely uncomfortable. It was difficult to sit and watch tv. I would not book a suite at the hotel again
Great place for surrounding areas.
Very comfortable and clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable, I slept like a baby!
Not happy
I would not recommened this place. They do not clean your room unless you beg for it. The free wifi does not work. The tv would shut off on its own. They charge $4.00 dollars for the washer an dryer.
Awesome place and stay, super recomended
We stayed for two weeks including Christmas and New Years, we had a great time, place was always clean, breakfast included and great variety. Staff was extraordinary, specially Guia at the front desk. This is our second year staying at the same hotel and we definitely will stay again, super family friendly
Clean and friendly.
The heated pool and hot tub. So needed at the end of a day in Disneyland.
Very nice, quiet & clean property...
Not family friendly
We were traveling with a new born and were given one of the pet friendly rooms which was dirty, carpet seemed to be decade old , dark shade to hide the mess. Bathroom exhaust was not working. I asked to change the room and I was told that no other room was available. When I wrote a formal email to Marriott I immediately got a call that a new room was available which I declined as it was too late.
Clean, attractive, spacious, nice views from the property, good breakfast buffet with lots of options and good coffee, helpful friendly professional staff. I would stay here again.
The staff was very nice and professional!
The fire alarm went off at 8 am two days in a row (false alarms) and our key card was deactivated 1.5 hours before it was supposed to. Other than that things were clean, breakfast was good. And staff was nice.
Nice quite place
Very convenient and nicely maintained property
Elizabeth was great!!! The staff was amazing :)
Very good
Nice place
The room was great, and the staff was very nice and helpful
The suite was as advertised. They provide free hot breakfast which had sufficient variety for everyone in our family. Kitchen had basic utensils which is probably all you need for a short stay. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
Great location, close to restaurants and main freeways.
Restaurant convenient.
Close to shops and restaurants walking distance!
Excellent
Fun fun fun , we held our 1st family reunion in the property. The staff was so accommodating Diamond the front desk associate, as well as the morning breakfast associate gave us excellent 5 stars service. We were all so Harper boom it again next year. Place has all the right accommodation for families, outdoor gas bbq, basketball courts, and a pool. Felt just like home there!! Great job residence marriott!
The room was so big my 8yo gasped and said she wanted to “explore” it. Full-size fridge and freezer. Incredibly clean. Very comfortable bed (though the fold-out couch mattress was past the end of its life and was like sleeping on a trampoline, my 8yo said). Lots of usb plugs. Breakfast was lavish: sausage, eggs (scrambled and hard boiled), potatoes, waffles with several different toppings, fruit, bagels and cream cheese, pastries, coffee, juice…lots of indoor places to sit. Also nice seating at tables by the pool. I sat there for a long phone call and it was pleasant and relaxing. There’s a Target across the street. We stayed here to go to Disneyland. Free parking here, and it took 22 minutes to drive to the Toy Story parking lot. Highly recommend- if you’re going to drive, be comfortable! They serve breakfast starting so early, we are at 6:30 am on a weekday before heading to the park.
Unusual Difficulties with Otherwise Lovely Hotel
We’ve stayed here often and never before had the issues getting our room that we had this time. My husband got there at 3pm and there was a line of at least 10 people waiting and only one front desk person. Then the manager came out and said check in time would be 4 but our reservation said it was 3. At 4:15 when we came back, another line of about 8 people and almost 45 minutes b4 we got room. The front desk person was NOT to blame —- she was working fast and was courteous and diligent. The computer system didn’t cooperate and she should have had another person helping her check in. Why wasn’t there more help for her and for housekeeping that was behind apparently bc the night before had been completely full? Why did the manager lie about check in time instead of helping the check in person or housekeeping?
Stay away
Absolutely horrible. Closet was broken, doors wouldn’t open. Worse part was that housekeeping was supposed to be coming every other day. I was staying for two weeks. The skipped my last three scheduled cleaning. When I called to ask of housekeeping would be coming by I was told that housekeeping was done for the day and they wouldn’t come to my room. But they could send towels if I wanted. Same thing every time. Not even an apology! To top it all off, I woke up next to what I hope was a spider and not a bed bug.
Old furniture and hallway. Nice staff, quiet and safe area. Needs improvements in daily breakfast.
Property is older
I liked that the food at the centennial breakfast was excellent. However, I didn't particularly appreciate that the elevator broke on the last day I stayed on the fourth floor with heavy bags, but they planned to fix it quickly.
Great accomodations! Super helpful staff, very nice breakfast.
Great location as a base for the Anaheim Convention Centre and also for leisure time in the nearby hills
The Hot tub was not working, and I was not told in advance, The AC thermostat was way off. We set it to 70, and it was like 85 in the room. We ended up setting it to 62 to get it to 70. We tried logging into Netflix on the TV, but it was not letting us log in. The pool was not clean at all. We really wanted to chill and relax in the hot tub and then watch some Netflix. I just killed are plans
The rooms were very spacious and had full kitchens, which are great for longer stays. The breakfast dining area was nice and had a good variety of offerings. We did not have time to use the amenities, but will enjoy using them another time, when we travel to the area again.
Nice and spacious
Check in was easy. The food was good. The staff in the restaurant was friendly. Thebroom setup was very roomy
This is our 4th time staying here and again, zero complaints. Stayed here for 3 nights and we decided to extend our trip and stayed an extra night. All 4 nights we didn’t hear a peep and we stayed on first floor near entrance door. We have 2 young kids, so we would hear everything, but didn’t hear a thing. Area is super quiet and safe. Will definitely be coming back.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
This property rips people off. They lie about things they tell customers and pocket your money.
Visiting family
Great location.. loved full kitchen.. plus open floor plan.. free breakfast was awesome.. only negative was uncomfortable bed/mattress..
The hotel is kept up very nicely. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom spotless and the front desk staff professional and very friendly
Home away from home
I had a family emergency and needed to find a place quickly, with my dog- and also didn’t know how long I would need accommodations. I’m a diamond member with Hilton, tried them first and had a poor experience with one of the staff at a Hampton Inn. So I decided to try this Marriott because it was getting late. I came in late my first night, Justin was very kind and got me in my room right away. I ended extending my stay a few times because the accommodations and service were just what I needed. Guia and Elizabeth were so cheerful, kind and helpful- very accommodating each time I extended my stay. Even the employees that were working on the grounds or providing the housekeeping services were nice. Everyone here made it feel like a home away from home.
Stayed here for a Disney visit in Dec 2022, and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was quiet and had everything we needed for a family of 5. The staff was super friendly and the top things for me were: (1) hot breakfast (2) free parking (3) close to Target and restaurants (4) close to Tesla superchargers. We hope to stay again. Excellent!
It a beautiful hotel immaculate & very comfortable! Staff friendly & go the extra mile! I stay here always when I come to yorba linda
Great property
Staff were really nice and helpful.
Good place to stay
Great place, friendly staff. Very clean. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely worth the price. Only issue I had was when I heard a manager (male) raise his voice to a cleaning lady over something ridiculous. I was 3 doors down
Thx U 4 Being AWESOME!! 😊
Thank You, TO ALL the Staff, from the Front Desk, Ceceila, Elizabeth, Giua, & Bfast Staff & the AWESOME Housekeeping, Precious & Selena. Thx U ALL SO MUCH!! SOO APPRECIATED! ❤️ Wendy
Everything was great.
Excellent Hotel
Everything was great from check-in to check-out. No complaints. Friendly staff, spacious suite, and convenient parking! All around excellence! Highly recommended!!
Location has a nice view and friendly staff. However, this hotel feels more like a motel. There was so much rust in the shower, it was gross. No warm water, either piping hot or cold in the shower. We had spiders and fruit flies. Sheets had stains when we first arrived so we had to ask for new ones. There were holes on top of the bed which made us feel very uncomfortable so we covered them with papers. I would definitely not stay here again nor do I recommend it, but that’s based on the room we had.
Kind of run down and not as clean as could be. Ants. Sink dirty and didnt drain properly. Booked king bed, got queen. Jacuzzi jets didnt work. All staff was very nice, professional and friendly... helped and did all they could.
It was very nice, except for a few minor things. The room and door entry system was very difficult to activate. In the room itself, the tv remote was very difficult to get to work and the fridge wasn’t connected to make ice cubes. The toilet was exceptionally loud to flush, and the in room air conditioner was very loud coming on and off many times during the night.

Had a wonderful stay
