The hotel is dirty, the staff is not friendly, the beds are very uncomfortable. When my partner brought his concerns to the staff and manager we were treated like we were just complaining. We checked out a day earlier than planned, and still have not received any money back for the nights we booked on advance. Complimentary coffee, is less then normal. Nothing plus about this hotel.
Unclean and uncomfortable
Within the first hour of being there I could spot some unexpected visitors and would see them regularly. The pillows at the bed were also very uncomfortable.
After staying here for just one night, I can easily say this is a 2 star hotel. Unfortunately from the moment my family and I arrived it was inconvenience after inconvenience. Elevator wasn't working, one of our beds had no sheets, no shampoo in the bathroom, and the wifi didn't even work. Anything related to bedding (extra pillows, sheets, etc) weren't available until morning which defeats the purpose of being a hotel. At least our truck was still there when we checked out. For $70 a night, I feel like we payed way too much for bare bones accomodations. If you just need somewhere to stay the night and that's it, Red Roof might be an option for you. Otherwise would avoid.
The motel looked like a creepy motel from a movie. I didn’t feel safe at all, but they did have security circulating around, so I guess that made me feel a little better. But I slept with all my luggage and baggage pushed against the door. The rooms that are on the pictures. Don’t look like the pictures at all the bathtub was filthy. It was dirty out five stars I will write these two stars, the hotel staff was nice and friendly. Book here as a last resort in my opinion. also, the hotel rate was way more than it needed to be due to the properties, appeal and cleanliness. Those rooms shouldn’t go more than $30 a day. The rooms are overpriced for what you get. In the location is only by waffle House nothing conveniently was around there.

1. There was no hot water. 2. No wifi. 3. The halls smelled like spoiled Chinese food and dirty dogs. 4. The room looked like a dorm room when you first move in. This place used to be really nice but they just let it go.
nice hotel for a quick stay in West houston
Sketchy hotel, elevator looked beat up, weird people hanging outside the hotel felt like I was in the projects for a second, we were put in the third floor and the second the elevator doors open the stench of cigarettes hit your nose. Now for the room it just smelled moist/humid goes away after a while but if you leave and come back in the smell is definitely still there. Covers were dirty on the bed and even had cigarette burns on them. Avoid this place like the plague!

The General Manager should be managing a large scale Marriott or a Hilton Hotel. Brandy is extremely professional and know how to handle guest. Inspite of the norm of balancing a hotel, she don’t wear it on her face or take it out on the guest. I applaud this lady to the utmost. Front desk staff was nice as well.
Chair unsafe
It’s just not great. No lock on the doors other than the mechanical locks for the key card, I imagine that’s because of the clientele staying there. Cosmetically the rooms look good, but the new coat of paint they put on the property does not cover the absolutely filthy bathrooms. Speaking of bathrooms, there is no hot water. Which is just not fun. I understand it’s cheap, but good God guys, When did staying in hotels get this bad? When did this become the standard?

Awfully dirty. Room gets cleaned once in a week and sheets don’t get replaced in days. The routine cleaning service personnel only shows up to pick trash and throw in a tiny bar of soap. The walkways are dingy and stinky and the property in general desperately needs an overhaul.

Unethical advertising
hotel falsely advertised available rooms at a time when 2 million people were without power in the greater houston area due to hurricane impacts. overall hotel room availability in the greater houston area was near zero, so we jumped on the room when we saw it was available. prepaid. showed up to hotel and they informed us they overbooked. no availability.
No phone in room to call front desk. Towel rack in bathroom sagging out of wall. No ready access to “DO NO DISTURB” placards to hang on room door. Quiet and spacious room. Ok in a pinch.
It had good A/C and a big tv.
Ac wasnt working and they couldnt fix it till the morning at that no one came to fix it still. I checked out sweating. It felt better outside than it did inside.
Hotel was over booked by 80 according to staff that thought it was funny. That people were left stranded in the middle of the night without anywhere to go. Was not able to stay and was turned away. So this was a nightmare that i will never forget.
The room was average (I believe it was advertised as a superior room). The location was near all the entertainment (movies, shopping, eating). What stood out the most was the service. My check in was easy. The person who checked me was personable and suggested places to. But the standout was the Mgr (owner?) My trip was ending on the day hurricane Beryl would hit Houston. After bringing some of my travel concerns to the Mgr she offered to extend my stay, at no extra cost. She was very concerned, and empathetic. I really appreciated that. The room wreaked of smoke and was very unclean. There were some very strange and unkept looking people staying in the facility. I felt very unsafe and the facility itself was not very clean.

My room was like those of a Motel
NO basic amenities in the room (hand soap, keened). Hair strands on lamp shades. Bathtub was horrible. Room was generally rundown. This is the most disappointing place I've stayed at in a long time.

Sheets had black hair in them. The card key wouldn’t open the door. Had to call the front desk for toilet paper. Took the maids 10 days to change the sheets. Elevator broke down. The whole place is seedy.
Nice staff
Very bad for family. I did not see it as mentioned in website. No hair dryer , no iron, no hanger . I asked for hair dryer but they did not give me. I will not recommend this to any family stay.

The front desk staff was very polite and welcoming. My only complaint about the stay was that housekeeping did not conduct a full service cleaning. The beds were not made, the toiletries were not replenished, and the trash was not removed. They only replaced our towels.

No issues during my stay
The curtain had holes. There were several spots of something mysterious on the floor. No light in bathroom. The sprinkler was propped up with toilet paper. The room smelled musty/moldy.
Do not stay here. Place is in need of repairs. Claim to be a non smoking property but first room smelled of smoke. 2nd room had bed bugs. Was not a good stay.
Morning shift front desk lady needs to find another job. Talks to people like they are beneath her and she is the one that comes across as lazy and not caring about the hospitality part of her job. is lazy. She chooses to work there, we chose to find a good rate for whatever reason we wannt to. I will write a letter to the ownership about actions and it was with mulitple guests.
Staff is nice. The bed sheets were stained and dirty. Ac did not work, woke up multiple times at night sweating. Shower did not have hot water it was barely warm.
Certain rooms don’t come with a microwave (never heard that before) and the toilet lid had something nasty and sticky on top!! So disgusting!
Location was convenient for us. The only thing was that there was no refrigerator in the room, it could’ve been cleaner, and we had no chair to sit down. We tried to upgrade to another room but it was too late and there was no other room available.
It could be improved
The staff was friendly and polite. However the room was disppointing, the blanket had couple holes in it, the coutains were broken, and cleanliness could be improved.

We walked in and the room smelled great. I thought everything was okay until I opened the bathroom door. There was a family of roaches all over the place. Went to the front desk, they told me they might be able to give me one night refund of my TWO night stay. I wasnt satisfied with that and was told to contact expedia. They said they would try to get the refund. Its now two days later and they couldnt get ahold of anyone so im pretty much SOL on any return. I was just expected to stay in the room with the roaches. Disgusting .

ROACHES! **OWNERS SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES. This place would FAIL INSPECTIONS and should be shut down for improvements!!** I wasn’t expecting the best for the price, but I don’t think I’m expecting too much by assuming my room would be roach-free. There was a dead roach on the floor when we walked in. And my whole 2-day stay, I was greeted by roaches when I went to the bathroom. At night, when the lights were off I noticed a 1/2 inch gap between the front door and the floor. To my horror, I could see about 3 roaches moving into my room from the light outside. I killed them and put a towel under the door to block them and give myself peace of mind. These were not the cockroaches that travel alone. It’s the kind that live by 1000s and reproduce like crazy in the walls. Additionally, the tub was so gross with mildew stains. Hairs were in the microwave, AC was shotty, and the hall and rooms smelled like smoke. I requested a new room because of this but that room smelled like smoke too and the front desk rep said “maybe it’s something they clean with?”. She was nice and accommodating, but not much she could do with the property being garbage. I should of spent $20 more a night for better options. the first room I had included A plush comforter blanket. The room I moved to only had a thin sheet and a cheap, thin decorative sheet that went on top. NO COMFORTER. I asked for one but only some rooms have it. I paid for a “DELUXE” room!!

Nothing was good or unique about the property. I didn't stay at it at all. One staff member was rude, disrespectful and racist. Managment didn't do anything but make up lies. Me and my family did not stay at property.

Pictures looked better online. When we arrived my wife found hairs in the bed and everything felt very dirty. Area was questionable and could smell marijuana as soon as we opened our room door to outside. We left the same day....
Did not get the room I booked. No pots, pans, or dishes in the kitchen.

As I drove in, I noticed two men exchanging packets size bags and money! They were businessmen for certain. Then, as as drove around the building, I smelled the distinctive smell of marijuana (weed), and noticed a few men with distinctive appearance of those whom can’t go nor can’t afford to visit more upscale places. Therefore, I decided to cancel my stay, for which I called Hotels.com. I most have told the man who answer the call I wanted to cancel, but instead, he kept asking questions and delay the cancellation. He proceeded to place me on hold, which made his immediate reaction to cancellation delay even more. At this time, I had already been through waiting 15 minutes waiting for them to answer, approximately 6 minutes trying to convince him all I wanted was to cancel, but he kept insisting, which made me angry! After placing me on hold, he came back to tell me the motel (which looked like a gathering for those undesirable guests, shady windows that looked like they were stained with cigarettes smoke and unclean appearance) and, that they would not issue a refund either. That made me angry because I had called on time to cancel the reservation, but instead, he fallowed his script preventing me from canceling and rail rode me through nonessential services to delay my request. At that point, I was creally upset and called the motel front desk to talk, but the woman phone attitude was truly rude and unfriendly from the start, which made the conversation even worse.
The price of the property was ok but my room had a few roaches in it. I would really like a refund honestly.
The tv wasnt working, so i asked the lady what was the best solution to the problem, she said “i dont have a solution” i asked her to put me in another room she said she couldnt do that.

First negative review for hotel I’ve ever done
Awful, I used to come here often because I’ve had no issues matter fact I’ve never had a negative review for a hotel until now, then to top it off my deposit, which was the last of my money says it was pending because you’re supposed to get it back if there’s no damages and after no damages They decided they wanted to pull it and not give it back so I now have had to call the bank, and at this point it was a fraudulent charge, took plenty of pictures of how the room was not clean that I was discussing and took a video of them, allowing people to come back from partying, and be loud and keep myself and my child up, the cat on the side of the bathtub is someone else’s trash that was there before us that they didn’t pick up. The refrigerator that was there before because I’ve stayed here. Many times was missing no microwave literally nothing to keep any drinks or food good. Then was too lazy to accommodate me and move me to the rooms that I normally stay in which is the inside part, even after I said, that I have trauma from recently getting broken into from the outside rooms. But I guess moving rooms to make my child and I am more comfortable and safe feeling it was too much because they would have to clean the room that they already didn’t clean. It was a mess when we went in.
The rooms are inexpensive and we had an accessable room. However, there wasn't a chair to sit on in order to remove shoes, etc. Had to sit on bed (too high) or the toilet. The covers on the bed was too light weight for the cold weather. We were continually killing bugs. Will not stay there again.
Very nice for the price. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful area for walking dogs! Only negatives: no in-room coffee maker and the bedspread is little more than a sheet and no blankets were in the room.

The staff is nice, but they seemed to need more hospitality training. I didn't care for the lobby, the elevator was scary and I felt like the hallways and rooms could be cleaner. There was definitely an odor in the hallway.

Roaches crawling nearly everywhere , and horrible smelling rooms
Only ice machine was a small portable in the lobby. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. Had to be keyed into my room because the electric lock would not unlock even with staff key. Check in clerk gave me a parking pass for security. Night clerk stated that no security on property.
The rooms and hallways had cockroaches everywhere!!!! The water for the bathroom was pouring yellow dirty water out! They didn’t even have a option to fix the problem.
Definitely not a stay I will be coming back too.
A geeat place to stay once upon a time .
This was a great place to. Stay ,but not anymore this place has down graded alot,our recent stay was not a pleasant onephone in room not working ,no refrigerator in roomm, no toilet paper holderin place,dirty shower tub,bed mattresses very uncomfortable need to be in the dumpster and replaced, was not worth the money last time that we will stay in that Redroof plus on i-10 in katy,tx
