Staff was nice. Unfortunately found roaches in my room

Poor quality room, i had to clear the room before I could unpack. The sofa have some much trash in it. I got a rash. The toilet was stopped up and i was told i had to unstop it myself. I have given a plunger to do the work. Mangers or staff where never at the front desk. This is a place that needs better care in management. Pictures online are not the same. They list hot tub but there is not one. Washer machine and dryer don't work. I wanted my money back and was told not available. My vacation to Taxes was a nightmare. If you have a family this place is not for them.

Coffee machine has mold. Bugs in the bed. Charging plug next to the bed does not work.

My room was clean, but the carpet was wet, I think there was a small flooding issue in the hallway outside my room. I had an assisted room and the shower had a handheld spray but no fixed showerhead, so it was very awkward to use. The hose was very short. The continental breakfast was very simple with just the basics, no fruit and only regular bread to toast.

Plenty of dining establishments near the property, as well as shopping. But our room had bed bugs. It also felt humid and damp.

The room smelled, it had baby roaches, top sheet was stained and the breakfast was only cereal, waffles, toast and some orange juice that my kids wouldn’t drink it.

Checking in was very easy. Received my room right away. Very clean rooms.

The room was filthy the staff was horrible to me and my family refusing us help and extra blankets for the pull out bed. There was literally a used condominium in the couch when I pulled it out.

Stayed here for 4 nights, most of the reviews are true. Staff is amazing but the place is run down, my line in the sand for leaving was roaches but i didn't see any and i definitely left food out to test. Saving grace for this place is location, on/off highway and plenty of food places to walk to, Starbucks is literally next door. If you're just looking for a place to sleep after you're done exploring this is the place, you want a place with a awesome pool and amenities keep looking.

Terrible! Nasty! Smelly, breakfast horrible just cereal , stains on mattress and floors and ceilings , please don’t go here unless u really need to u will regret it

Soft bed Saw a roach didn’t want to bring my things inside cause I didn’t want to bring any home. But for the price it’s half way expected. Breakfast doesn’t have a lot of options. If I haddddd to I would properly stay there but will wouldn’t take anything inside with me

Good inexpensive hotel

The room was filthy and there were roaches on the wall upon entrance.

It says that continental breakfast and was nothing on the breakfast just some bread and jelly but nothing else

This hotel accomplished what I needed in a hotel for the days I stayed there; it has everything my family needed at the time and not far from any additional amenities we needed if we had to go out for a while.

I couldn't have asked for any better. Totally satisfied.

So many roaches. We had to leave the room and the front desk guy was beyond rude and inconsiderate. There were reviews we saw after saying there were roaches in room 310 and they gave us room 310 knowing full well it was infested. Disgusting

We chose the room with jetted tub. Jets were full of hair. Breakfast was rotten apples, there was one grape jelly, and the mix to make waffles was like water.

Room was horrible. Water leaking from bathroom vent. Duct tape holding shower tile together. Red stains on carpet. Pool lounge chairs broken. Hot tub doesnt work. Ice machine dirty.

Nothing was unique, the area was convenient and that is all. Lady at the front desk which I assume is property manager makes her own deposit pricing. They had roaches in the room and took two days to move to another room. They tried to get over on us with charges and overall the experience was not good at all.

worst hotel stay i have ever had. the lack of cleanliness was unbearable. i literally had roaches (plurral) running across the night stand in the middle of the night. for your sake pay thee extra 25 dollars a night to stay in another hotel

Excelent customer service

Amazing room for an amazing price

My stay was amazing check in was quick and easy as well the check out the hotel was close to everything I was near restaurants, a Starbucks a dollar tree, a Ross and the highway. As well the breakfast was a plus that saved me abit of money since they offered free breakfast daily 6am-9am. My room also had a microwave which was useful not like other hotels that I gotta walk to the front desk but overall it was an amazing experience

We stayed four nights in this property. What we like most was the hotel staff and other guests including young children were courteous and quiet which made our stay pleasant.

The man i met on the check in date was good. But then another lady took over. When they wont clean my toom, i tried to call ther attention but the lady was rude. That was why i left the hotel

Location is very convenient. Parking lot was well lit. Rooms were a good size. Staff was very friendly.

No hot tub

The property was good for the price. I was not happy that the hot tub was not heating because they were "waiting for parts". I would stay there again as long as the prices stay where they are.

It was quiet and I got a good deal

Room was clean,but ac didnt work properly. It wasnt cooling and staff provided fan. Light in restroom was flickering on and off my whole stay.

There was a hostage situation so we couldn’t check in on time, the room had a very bad mold smell, there was roaches, the housekeeping wasn’t available until after you checked out, and it was very hot and stuffy in the hallway and only one ice machine that barely worked on the first floor we was on the third floor, the pool wasn’t cleaned…. It was a very bad experience and the night staff was rude and the food wasn’t fully cooked

I liked the fact that it was close to the shops

first room they offered had a very bad mold smell. they switched the room but the next day we had a mold smell too. we figured it out to be the the air conditioning unit. service was great and the breakfast was decent.

Wrong room was booked and management was very rude about accommodating me despite being able to see the correct booking in my phone. TV in room did not work and pool was half the size of what is pictured online. Ended up leaving an entire day early.

The desk attendant at check in was not friendly at all. The place is filthy and the hallway carpets have stains all over and so did the sofa in our room. Absolutely gross! Candy on the floor (not ours) stains on the sheets, just a horrible place. Wouldn’t let me dog stay there!

Horrible service and Hospitality

The service here at this location was horrible. My Two daughters and I evacuated here, due to Hurricane Ida. The rates went up from previous checking,the front desk concerned was collecting funds,more than hospitality. The housekeeping service was horrible,(never had Two things that match). The housekeepers didn’t understand clear English well. The pool didn’t get cleaned through the entire Five day stay!! Just pathetic. The owner came in, call my room to ask to come get broken fridge,which was working. She didn’t accommodated me at all, and seen I had food,meat,etc… in fridge. Instead when asked for another room, she charged me a additional $15. Air conditioners leaking water fast!! The worse out of my Two week stay in Houston,due to storm.

The place was a bit disappointing. I would have given worst rating if the front desk guy was not somewhat helpful. After checking in, I saw that the towels were not changed and used soap was still there in the bathtub; These were taken care of after I reported. Later at the night, I saw that the bedsheet was crumpled everywhere. When I reported the problem, the front desk girl told me to come down, take the bedsheet and pillow cover, and then make the bed by myself! The room had a strong chemical odor, and I could get the air freshener on the next day after following up several times. I stayed in the hotel for 7 days in total. The breakfast was almost the same every day and sometimes not fresh enough. It was hard to get basic services at times as the hotel was understaffed. The trash from the room was not cleaned every day and so people were piling trash in the hallway. The bathroom in my room was cleaned only once in seven days. There are blackout drapes in the rooms, but those do not cover the whole length. The sides of the door have wide gaps to make the room bright at night; light also comes in through the eyehole. The rooms are not soundproof as advertised and it was quite a disturbance at times. The Wi-Fi is free but does not work always; there is a limit on how many users can login at the same time. The plug point in the bathroom was not working and the problem not solved at all after reporting.

After booking with hotels.com, I got to the property and they informed me that they did not have any vacancy.

Satisfied with our stay

Building was in complete remodel and there was no parking.

It was not the best because the toilet wasn’t flushing, my baby found a bug in the room, the pool stay freezing cold, the spa tub never got hot. The employees were slow to respond but they were short staffed.

The description of this hotel was NOT accurate. Granted we were only staying one night, but the beds were lumpy and too hard; the smoke detector chirped all night long; there was a roach in the bathroom when I woke up the next morning; the breakfast was literally a banana and a muffin...no waffles as the pics showed, no boiled eggs, nothing. We were placed in a handicapable room and the shower head was not adjustable. The hotel is under construction apparently. The night person was friendly. The only good thing about this hotel is that it sits behind a Starbucks. Yes it was a cheap stay of $70 but even for that price I would hope that bugs wouldn’t be an issue.

Big Rooms for the price

The room was nice and spacious. They are undergoing construction on the first floor so it was unsightly in some parts. I would stay here again though.

I wouldn’t stay here again

The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit raggedy and was given a little “face lift” with some paint and a few upgrades. There weren’t consistent features amongst rooms, like the blow dryers, clocks and phones. I think because it was a pet friendly & an old hotel, it had an odor to my room when it became a little too warm.

When I checked in there was no soap and only a half roll of toilet paper. I was told if I wanted fresh towels to bring dirty towels to front desk I order to get fresh ones. Not happy about that at all. Said no linen service due to coronavirus virus. I was staying three days. Unbelievable!

There were roaches, I will never stay there again.

The price was good. The manager was absolutely horrible. He was rude and disrespectful and threatening to the point we had to involve the police. He caused us to have a miserable start to our trip and added expense and an injury to my back from having to move to a different hotel. I will never go back and niether will my fellow employees. I know have charges on my credit card that so far have taken a total of 2 hours to get straightened.

It started off great until the next morning the desk agent tried to get more money out of us after we had already paid threw hotels.com a month in advance saying my card wasn't going threw and she going to cancel the hotel.com reservation and book threw them and call them later to get my money back when i called hotels.com they looked angry especially when i said they was calling them and it went threw our first room the tv was falling over we had to change then my water came out Brown then the next morning i opened my door and was met with a cloud of smoke when the housekeeper opened up the door across from me that also had a No smoking sign on it then we come back my nephew and cousin door knobs feel off while they was trying to enter their rooms it was truly a weekend of what's going to happen next

First let me say that the front desk workers were very friendly and they allowed us a later check-out. Also, I appreciate the hotel being near a few food places. Now the room on the other hand....the beds wee comfy, but I didn't trust the top comforter. The carpet and couch were horribly stained. We got a smokers room, however when we walked in and the entire time the room reeked of some odor. It reminded me of a urine smell or like transients stayed in the room. The smell came from the carpet mostly, which I smelled as soon as I rolled over in bed in the morning. The area that it is located and some of the people in the area were definitely questionable. When we requested towels in the morning, they never brought them up so we went and got them ourselves. We missed breakfast because the front desk clerk said they stop at 10, however they stopped serving at 9. Huge disappointment when u wake up hungry. Overall i give the Hotel a 3 and it most likely would not be my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice to stay in next time.

All was good except the stairwell smells like pee.

I liked that it was cheap and clean. I did not like the weird smell and my AC made this terribly annoying sound - I ended up having to just cut it off. Thank God I checked in at night and checked out early morning; other wise no AC would have been a terrible inconvenience.

The bed felt like heaven. I loved the room.

The staff was great and the breakfast was nice. The pool and in room safe however were broken and the hotel was a bit aged. It was acceptable but my boys were super sad about the pool.

The staff were so friendly and helpful!! Anything I needed the front desk helped a lot!! Will definitely be back if I take a trip to Houston again!

There were stains on the sofa cover. The chair’s leather was completely torn. Bathroom was clean. We could not sit neither on the chair nor on the sofa because of the terrible condition they were in

Accommodating!

It is a decent hotel located in an okay location. Didn’t really feel safe but also not threatening.

overall it was good, AC was leaking so it made the floor by the bed wet.

Hotel was decent stay for the great price. Really could not ask for more with how much we paid.

Listing said family friendly but it definitely was not! My husband called ahead just to make sure pool was working and we were told it was, when we got there it was green! Five days later pool was still unusable! Will definitely not be staying here again!
