This hotel has a great room and also very awesome to be near all the attractions

I think the biggest issue I have is with Expedia themselves because when I reserved it, it was a lower price and then when I decided to use the money I had with Expedia on the points for some reason the price went up. I doubt that it should’ve been that much for the area, type of room, and the accommodations. It was honestly not worth it. I’m disappointed in Expedia not them per se

Cold and Noisy

Walls are thin and the highway is very loud outside the door, so it will not be quiet. The room was okay for the price, but the air system would not heat up. It would only blow cold air, so I had no heating. My room was the same temperature as outside, around 35-45 degrees Fahrenheit each night. I slept wearing socks and a jacket and was lucky to get to sleep. On the first night, staff told me they would send maintenance in the morning. Maintenance never came so the next day I told the staff again and they told me nothing. My room was never warm during my stay.

Front desk agent was an absolutely horrible. Do not recommend based solely off of the guy behind the counter.

Water leaking in bathroom. Sink not flowing properly. Breakfast just bread pretty much. No juice, no fruits

Not the cleanest

Arrived to a room that had not been cleaned. There were hairs and stains on the bed linens and something sticky on the bathroom counter. The shower was stained as well. We asked for the bedding to be changed, and to his credit, the owner came and changed the bedding himself right away, However, that bedding was also stained. The whole place felt run-down and unclean.

Mattress too hard. Bathtub cracked hot water lever not working properly. Closing breakfast at 9:00 AM on a Saturday. Checked out at 11:00. Not even coffee available!!! Room coffee old and cheap.

The entrance location is next to the merging of I10 exit and frontage road. You have to be careful at this merging. Lots of speeding cars here. Room is clean with decent breakfast. Unfortunately you can hear the noise from I-10.

This is definitely more motel than hotel. Overall it was clean and nice. It had basic continental breakfast. Floor was coming apart and had gaps.

Nice clean quiet and friendly staff

The breakfast was disgusting. The orange juice tasted like mold. I couldn't stop gagging. The bread was stale and we only showed up an hour after breakfast started. This was the only issue. Everything else was satisfactory.

The hotel had roaches everywhere on the wall in the microwave, in the bathroom, on the bed and floors. We complain at the front desk and they gave us the room next door but we also saw a few roaches. Then we notice he rented the room that had all the roaches a few hrs later.

Roaches!

Roaches in the room as soon as we walked in. I walked right back out and went to the front desk to get my security deposit and refund. Unfortunately since I booked through a third party I couldn’t get a refund right away. Hotels.com contacted the front desk and the front desk agent couldn’t approve my refund until they spoke to a manager. I’m still waiting to hear back.

San Antonio Stay

The rooms were good, clean comfortable beds. Management at desk was friendly and provided great service. Cleaning personnel did a great job maintaining cleanliness in rooms. Showers/ tub and toilet are dated but funcional. Breakfast did not have a variety; only two cold cereal and waffles,coffee, orange and apple juice. Had a small fridge but limited to only a couple (2-4) yogurts, no toast, no pastries or bagel. They could do much better in that area.

Sunken Bed and just waffle for breakfast

I decide 2 stay an extra night and I have to take everything out before 11 and checking back at 3 o'clock. Add the manager what's married route when. Yes? Tell him. Why should I check out when is and stay on the same room?

Toilet couldn’t flush very well and could not handle any toilet paper and shower head was in poor condition. Dead bugs around the room. Grimy floors and walls. Overall pretty decent for the price though

Ever Thing was good

Some part was okay but the sheets had spots the tub was old it had a sewer smell.also

Clean room. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Remote wouldn’t work with tv. Toilet clogged after first use, but there was a plunger in the bathroom. No problems after that. Breakfast selection dismal. When we got there, everything was gone.

This hotel is horrible. Their customer service needs some serious work. Their toilets don't work properly or all the time. They have people slamming doors, and kids running around at all times. I thought choice hotels was good, but they have gone down hill to one the worst places ever and this place leads in it's downfall. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to go

Not worth the savings

Filthy. Stained sheets, filthy shower, mystery grime all over. Cold AC.... LOL

When we arrived room was okay. Then we found out the door did not lock and all you had to do to get in is literally push it and it would open. Had to be moved to another room. The new room's door did lock but the toilet leaked water each time you flushed it. I had to constantly ask the girl from maintenance to give me new towels, and had to ask her to please take out the trash as they wouldn't do it while I was gone. Also, they did not change the sheets and blankets let alone did they do the beds. It does have a cocoroach problem. We saw at least 4 during our stay. The day before we left all power went out but I guess that wasn't the hotels fault it was the city. We did enjoy the pool and the location is very calm. Not the most terrible experience but not the greatest either. The price all in all isn't horrible. But they really should pay more attention to maintenance on the rooms.

Horrible hotel

Tv didnt work they wouldnt fix it or move rooms. Toilet didnt work and the bathroom door wouldnt open and had my disabbled daughter locked in it. Bed was broke. They would not accimidate us at all we left

Dirty room. No TV. Two hypodermic needles found in room. Drug deal happening outside in parking lot at night.

San Antonio I10

The room looked decent enough in the picture. But once there, the bathroom was smelly and very dirty. It hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Crusty stuff on the door, carpet by the bed hadn't been cleaned. Would not stay again. Even for the price. Room service- took the dirty towels, left the trash and no clean towels.

Sitting down to eat at the table and a cockroach crawling out of the coffee maker was great. Had dogs with me and all of the grass Was just pure burrs and stickers they had to pee on rocks and the curbs. Horrible people above me just banging and stomping for 90 mins. I called front desk and I think they took care of it after 45 mins. From 1am-240am noise noise noise

Bar of soap left in tub from previous guest. Upon entering the room it had a musty odor, found air freshener sitting on a/c unit. The main door to the room was dirty from what appears people closing the door with their feet. The room was equipped with only two body towels and a floor towel. Television was unreliable, click on antenna picture come on but frozen with no sound and channel will not change. Tried Netflix and sound worked but no picture and same issue with YouTube service. Spoke with management and they explained they recently took over the property and trying to get it fixed, but television issue wasn't resolved in the 4 day stay. Staff was short handed, made the bed nicely but still only left two body towels.

Worst hotel i’ve ever stayed in my life, our z2 rooms were dirty full of ROACHES and bugs, toilet never flushed so my kids were not even able to use the restroom. When mentioned my concerns to the lady that was working the front desk, she was so rude, she sidnt care at all and ignored me. Staff is very rude and there’s no way you can communicate with them, when checking in the guy asked me to talk to a cellphone to use a translator since the guy didn’t speak english.

The rooms were a bit dirty, the pool was green.

It was okay for a night, for the price. The room could be a little bit cleaner, but I have seen worse. The breakfast had very few choices. I have no complains for the staff, the only thing was they did not open the side door and we had to walk all around to the front door to enter the lobby it was a good thing that it was not raining when we nedded to go to the lobby. Overall if you just want a cheap room to sleep this place would be okay.

Nasty Hotel

Our stay was terrible. The room was filthy. Lots of roaches. The linen was nasty. The bathroom was beyond nasty. The walls and the ceilings were nasty.

Great everything but too much pressure in shower

Everything great. The eco friendly rating is because the faucet in the tub/shower was full blast with no speed control. The water came out stinging the skin. When I got out the shower, the entire unit was wet from humidity including the slippery floors. If the pressure would be adjusted, that would solve the issue. Otherwise everything else was great and would definitely come here again.

We came here from a beautiful La Quinta. My daughter was a bit concerned because the La Quinta was a beautiful hotel. The parking outside our room was a HUGE benefit. Then, we were able to stream our own streaming subscriptions. This moved Quality in into a whole new realm of stay. We stay in hotels at least 10 nights a year for Scottish Festivals. So price and convenience are important. This stay fit the bill. The floors could be a bit less dusty, but as an overall stay we will certainly be back.

The room and the bathroom was very dirty. Only bed sheets were changed before our stay.

Overall it was a decent place for the price we paid. The breakfast was minimal-waffles, juice, yogert, cereal, apples, and coffee, but the waffles were the Texas waffles!!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room needed more attention while cleaning- there were spiderwebs in the ceiling corners. There was dust and dirt in other corners. The bathtub had hair in it. And the bathroom smelled like urine.

Just passing through….

First and foremost Friendly staff and great location in regards to Fiesta TX!!! Bed was comfy and pillows extra soft! Breakfast choices very minimal (waffles, cereal, yogurt, fruit and coffee/juices) that ends promptly at 9am. Now the other side :/ room had a lingering odor, I bought air freshener. I had cleaning issues first night but hotel staff took care of it ASAP. I also did have to battle little critters, I probably killed about 4-5 small roaches :/ Also no safety latches on doors.

I had to stay here due to a last minute cancellation of previously arranged accommodation and was pretty disappointed. The room was not clean (stained comforter, bugs, shower not clean) and there are busted up, broken down cars in the parking lot. The staff was friendly but aside from that I would not recommend staying here.

GPS with your link sent us 8 miles past the motel and showed the motel in the middle of the highway.

It was good for working guys

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I booked with Expedia and paid in full a week prior to my travel plans. I live 4 hours away, so a hotel was necessary - and I was only truly interested in a safe room with a clean bed. When I was ready to check in, it was 11pm. They say there is a $100 deposit that is refunded after my stay. I didnt understand so I reminded them that I've paid in full and can show them my Expedia reservation itinerary. Apparently it's a non expedia on site fee that is refundable after you check out and staff confirm there arent any missing room fixtures. I didnt know about the fee nor was it advertised as part of the hotel policy. It was in the email receipt I received AFTER paying for the room. When I arrived, it was past the window to cancel. After a lot of back and forth, I contacted the Expedia Virtual Chat agent, who was less helpful. After the back and forth with hotel staff and the chat agent, an hour has passed and Im dead tired. I decide that I will give in, pay the deposit and file a claim with Expedia at a later date. Upon entry to the room, it seems clean. Flushing the toilet rattled the pipes. A roach crawled out of the new unwrapped toilet paper roll inside the bathroom and turning on the water faucet to wash my hands rattled the pipes some more. The light from the street framed the curtains and the foot traffic from the room upstairs made it hard to fall asleep. Oh...and the towels had stains.

Over all, it was satisfactory for the price. You get what you pay for. Breakfast not good but room was clean.. I was in San Antonio for a medical appointment. My appointment was at 10:30 am 10 Minutes away. I asked for a late 1pm check out, as I was with family members. They said that they could only give me until 12:30 am at an extra charge of $25.00. If I was late they would charge my card an extra night. Needless to say I took my family and they waited outside in the car for an hour and a half. I left the appointment at 12:25 am... I will not stay again.

It was mediocre. The young lady at the counter was nice but the room wasn’t cleaned very well and there were bugs in the room as well. The “breakfast” had very little options. Overall it was just mediocre.

Door didn’t close correctly, water pressure to high, bathtub very dirty , smell very bad, bath extractor didn’t work. Pictures shows very different quality than it is. Thank You.

Sugary breakfast

Nice large room, comfortable. But the bathtub was full of hair and dirt. The flooring had gaps. The worst breakfast I can remember in decades, nothing but waffles, sweetened cereal or packaged sweet pastries, no protein options. Sign is not lighted so hard to see the place at night, we had to take the frontage loop twice before we found it.

Not the best of conditions

Poor AC conditions. The machine was loud and made strange noises all night. Sounded like it was struggling to get air. Wasn’t able to sleep at all because of this. Turned the ac off and the room temperature sky rocketed. Was not a comfortable night at all.

The bathtub had dry piss marks. The sink had pubic hair, it’s impossible to pair to the tvs in the room because the only control that works for them is held in the front office. Overall one of the nastiest panda sketchiest places to stay in San Antonio.

Rooms are dusty and the toilet is not clean at all

Service was great but the room wasn’t clean. An old soap bar was in the tub, dead bugs, and counters were not wiped down.

This property was HELL. The “walk in shower” leaked water all OVER THE HOTEL ROOM AND RUINED OUR BELONGINGS. Not to mention my mother is CRIPPLE and she couldn’t even get to the restroom. They offered a mop and towels to clean it up ourselves!?! And when I got to the lobby they said either a mop or towels.. took the towels because the mop wouldn’t do much with the amount of water thrown. The towels were dingy and DIRTY with God knows what. Red stains and makeup remover. THE AC DIDNT WORK. And made the room smell HORRIBLE. It was hot and a miserable smelly night. I mean I do NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS PLACE IS STILL RUNNING. It was last minute for us so that’s how we ended up in this hot mess. Please DO NOT GO. I’m still sick from it. It was THAT BAD. Also I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY $100 DEPOSIT BACK!!!!!!!!

Ended up in a handicap room again. Seems to happen a lot with Hotels.com reservations. No counter space in bathroom and the bed was less than desirable. Breakfast was very sparse. Location was close to our destination.

Very disappointed with overall cleanliness of the hotel. The floors, walls and beds were dirty with stains on them. The bathroom had urine stains all over the walls and wreaked of urine. Definitely overpaid for this hotel…

I liked nothing about it . The room had a old funky smell to it and it was dirty . The sheets looked clean but had hair on them and when ever someone used their shower or bathroom from the room upstairs and on the side , you could hear the pipes rattling and making a loud noise. I got no sleep.. Never ever again and I do not recommend at all .. to any one……

Nightmares do come true. Awful

This is one of the worse stays in all my travels as a reviewer. Toilet did not work all the time. For hot water you need to let run the water for about 5 minutes just to get luck warm water. The sheets were dirty. The breakfast if you want to call it that, was awful. Only one toaster for the whole facility and one waffle maker. I can not find words to describe how horrendous this place is. For the money i got rip-off. If you cherish your family you wont pick this place.

Horrible Place!

There was only 1 toilet paper roll, and it was halfway. We were a family of four. Around 11pm, the person next door had the TV all the way up with the door being open and close, more like slamming. There was only 2 bath towels to use, the rest were the small hand towels. Bathroom door couldn't close completely. No hand soap at all. A teeny tiny soap and conditioner they had, which seemed they were halfway already. Thank goodness we always carry with our own toiletries. There was hair in the tub. The bathroom vent was ON the whole time, the switch was broken so no way to turn it off. Then in the morning we see SEVERAL pieces of tortillas all over our vehicle and around it. Never staying here again!

Magnuson House of Mediocrity

Not the best, not the worst. The room was clean and so was the sheets. When we first got into the room there was a very strong odor of what seemed like Asian food. The TV did not have any national channels(ABC, CBS,Fox, etc.) very disappointing. And the soap provided for the bathroom was a joke. And for the grand finale when you flushed the toilet there was this horrendous noise coming from the tank (provably a pressure pump going bad). And the breakfast, cereal, waffles and apple juice (even when you selected orange juice). So there you have it, that was my experience in a nut shell. Not recommended. But for $79.00 whos complaining. I got what I paid for.

Breakfast consists of honey buns, cinnamon buns and coffee cakes. It’s horrible at night due to traffic and you can literally hear every vehicle pass by. The walls were dirty, our tv didn’t work, and we didn’t have a phone.
