The staff were great but the room must have been the least popular in the Hotel. It is next to the reception and offices with the staff exit from the 2nd. floor stairs right outside my window. I could tell the staff were doing everything they could not to make any noise. I have had great visits there before but never in room 123 before.

I didnt like being mislead with pictures of beautiful rooms, to find out on arroval that im in the tiniest room I've ever seen and no hot tub either.

Water hub at reception good. Air Conditioning not working, toilet taking ages to refill after flush. Pillows poor but not advised of others available until read the following day.

Friendly staff Close to trust arena Walls thin and a bit noisy

Convenient location, basic but tidy. Fustrating we had to keep asking for towels. No fan in the bathroom. Kettle but no kitchenette sink so needed to use the bathroom which was a bit odd. But staff were friendly and it was clean.

There was a young intern learning the reception ropes.he saqy husband struggling wirh the clothing trolly.He immediatelty jimperd in qnd helped.took. everything to the room. Very pleasant younger man

Only stayed a night and was what you expect.

I am sorry to give this rating but as a guest who could not travel to the hotel due to circumstances outside of our control (Auckland Fog) the management were insistent on charging for a room that could not be occupied. This was in spite of our group attending, occupying and paying for numerous rooms on the night. Quality Hotels are no longer an option when we travel in the future.

A microwave in the room would’ve been ideal other than in the foyer

I stayed 1 night with 2 children and we loved the room we were in. Bed was super comfy.

Got a room with a water pump next to us that made a lot of noise all night so not much sleep plus could hear the other side of the room people very clearly. Room was tidy bed was ok spare pillow had no case on it tho And didn’t know I had to put $100 deposit down as well as paying the price of the room so had less money for the night out plus have to wait til Monday /Tuesday to get it back

Nothing amazing but had what you needed.

Easy check in, clean rooms, friendly staff. Guests talking in the hallway into the early morning hours on the first night was the only distraction. Would happily stay again.

Had everything we needed. Lovely and local to Trusts Arena where we were attending a gig. Comfy bed and such easy and accessible parking.

Very expensive for such a tiny room. No running water in the room apart from the sink in the bathroom. A sign says if you want water to go to reception. Walls are very thin so quite noisy. Gastropub next doof is fantastic.

Good but not excellent.

The reasons we didn't go 5 stars on all categories are because of a little mould in the bathroom, the room was a little bit shabby (the sofa in the room was like something from student digs - it should be renewed with a better looking newer one). It was noisy from the nearby busy main road. To be fair to the management they offered to move us to a quieter room but it would mean a downgrade from Superior room to regular double, so we declined the offer. The room and hotel was essentially 'good' or 'fair', just not 'very good' or 'excellent' in our view. We loved having the kitchenette and the space that the Superior Room gave us. The balcony would be great in hot weather (if a little noisy from traffic).

Second stay here as the netball centre straight across the road, so no driving required. The complex is a bit dated but very clean and tidy and eateries are a short walk away.

Staff were friendly and amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly! Towels large and fluffy. Free parking absolute bonus. Convenient to the motorway. The Gastropub had delicious food, and great staff. Stayed there about 15 years ago, loved it then. The place has improved immensely. Will definitely stay there again if I’m ever in Auckland.

Stayed at Quality Inn whilst visiting Auckland for an event, Good location near Trusts Arena. Our Deluxe Double Room with 2 Queen beds was lovely and spacious! Check in was easy and staff were lovely. Down fall was its lacking in room facilities, like having no kettle or microwave in the rooms, no door stop and having no window in the bathroom.

Good sized rooms, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to motorway. Nice park and playground across the street. Rooms a little dated. But very clean.

Lobby had interesting local books. Near public bus wait stops. Staff friendly but not helpful with information. Nothing "wow" about the location, even local drivers got lost using their gps.

The coffee machine was broken so we needed to go elsewhere for breakfast; I wondered why it was not fixed?. There was no-where to see my Uncle when he visited as there was no lounge so I had to ask to borrow a chair temporarily.

Handy for where our event was being held. Run down property, staff very friendly but only one person at reception at a time causing delays (not the fault of that staff member).

Our room was big with lots of space. The location was perfect - close to the stadium. The only recommendation would be to have a recycling bin in the room. We really enjoyed our stay - very comfortable!

A little frustrating having no utensils (bar teaspoons) or cloth / teatowel in the kitchenette. The initial customer service person on the phone was abrupt and unhelpful but the person we dealt with upon arrival made up for it, she was lovely

Great location for the Trust Arena for our National Tournament. Supermarkets and fast foods places within walking distance. The staff were amazing, extremely helpful. Our room was lovely and clean, comfortable and the price was on point. Would happily stay again and definitely recommend staying here.

Not affordable

Didnt like breakfast... should consider cooked food options. Lovely reception staff... friendly and kind. Loved the cleanliness. However, one of the staff at goodhome was very rude and told us to go and eat elsewhere. We told him we have a concert to attend and how long was the wait. He said we are busy. Which is okay but some things he should not have said. He should have chosen his words wisely and be kinder. He was arrogant and rude.. indian guy.. around 4pm on Saturday 24th June. He needs to be taught good customer service skills, others wont tolerate his behavior. We are kind and humble so just walked out.

I booked several months in advance and asked for a room with a Bathtub ( and I paid top dollars for thebest - they give the option. ) On arrival I got a room WITHOUT A BATHTUB. I need this for health reasons. When I asked for a room with a bath I had to evacuate and stay outside hotel for a day, only to find that it was a Much much smaller room in a VERY VERY noisy block and still WITHOUT A BATHTUB !! It had the bottom of the shower partially higher but that's not a BATHTUB and nothing like their advertising. Then for two full days and nights they allowed a group of 12 or 15 people to have a party day and night up to 2am !! People screaming, shouting, swearing !! Terribly rude and when I asked them to do something about it they did nothing. So for most of the time it was an absolute terrible terrible experience, leaving me terribly tired with hardly any sleep. Furthermore the Breakfast is absolutely pathetic with a few jars with dry cereal and white bread for toast. Also an empty bowl of canned fruitsalad. Yikes. Had I known these horrible conditions I would never have booked there and certainly never again !

Handy to activities in West Auckland

The room is very pleasant with comfortable bed, nice linen and a good armchair. The bathroom has been renovated and perfectly adequate but its the area I'm not as happy with. Still we've stayed here 6 or more times when visiting family in Glen Eden. Access is easy and parking is free. There's an elevator if you dont like stairs. This time in addition to our prepayment made when booking, they take a $100 on a credit card in case you damage the room -and the tell you in advance they do that - and a first they took a copy of my drivers licence. I asked for it back when i checked out and they gave it to me. The deposit has always been refunded prompty too. Ill stay here again no doubt.

Property was tidy and clean got rushed in morning as. CLeaner had just opened door to come in when I had jusgot out of shower wasn't imprest as stil had 40 mins to. CHeck out otherwise couldn't complain

Advertised as ‘with’ Pool which is why we picked it for kids and there is no Pool on property rather directed with a free pass 10mins drive away at city pools - false advertising

Great location. Very friendly staff. Large rooms. Nice verandah. Handy to bistro and bottle shop next door. Many shops nearby.

The place was kept neat and tidy, only downside for us was we asked for a late checkout by just an hour and didn’t get a response at all.

The staff are very hospitable and helpful. The spaces are well-kept and feel like a home away from home. There are enough places to eat out nearby should you want to explore other options for a change. I'll definitely visit again and encourage others to try this gorgeous place.

Curtains in my room (235) could do with a proper hemming. Not a problem, but the catch on the window was faulty and wouldn't close.

Stayed for two nights. Lovely staff. Room was clean and spacious for two people. Very close to food options, bar and bottle store Only thing is there was no cutlery, bowls, or plates. Only teaspoons, mugs and glasses. Never come across this before. Would stay there again.

It was a fine place to stay. Not amazing but not terrible. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance. Laundry was great to have, only a couple doors down from our room. The only annoying thing was the $1 coins needed for the machines - the hotel sent me to the pub for change, the pub wouldn’t only give $10 worth (the equivalent of 1 was and 1 dry with a couple bucks left).

Our room looked newly decorated. Well designed setup, roomy bathroom, friendly front desk. We were really happy with our stay, well-priced.

No complaints what so ever. I do not know when I will be back in Auckland

while the property was convenient for us, we felt the staff were not engaged with us, and gave us minimal information about accessing our room and using the card system. We were also not informed that the breakfast facility was available despite the slide show on the TV saying it was not.
