The location

Pictures posted in the Expedia Advertisement is equivalent to bait and switch. It's pretty much a run down motel. Room had holes in the wall, appeared to have water damage at some point. Comforter had stains appeared like nail polish hopefully. Bathtub/shower had stains like rust or decay from being old. Needed somewhere to stay overnight was there to see son graduate from Air Force Basic Training and this was close. I took pictures wish I could post them.

ROACHES!!!!

Horrible experience. The room smelled musty, restroom smelled like urin, and it had roaches. Killed about 20. Never staying there ever again.

The worst place I’ve ever been. This place needs to be closed down as soon as possible! I have never seen a place so nasty and disgusting in my life. I’ve never seen so many roaches in my life. Molded and rotted tub. The bathroom was like a scene in a horror movie. They will try not to give you your money back either. DO NOT STAY HERE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Burn marks on bed no soaps

I was very disappointed to see the room in this hotel. What is worst is that it is in Travelocity site. We have used travelocity to book many of our trips which include the hotels. This time it was a very unsatisfactory experience. The room's furniture was old scratched and with no handles on the drawers, the restroom was dirty. The room did not have a coffee pot. The whole room needed to be cleaned thoroughly and remodeled. I do not recommend this type of hotel to anyone.

Smoky smell.

Everything was good. But i did ask for a non smoking room. When i got in the room had a heavy smell of smoke. Im not a smoker so i could smell it. Not sure if it was a previous smoking room. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean.

My recent stay at the OYO Hotel was extremely disappointing and concerning. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a pervasive, funky, moldy smell that lingered throughout the entire hotel, making my stay quite unpleasant. The cleanliness of the room was far below acceptable standards. The towels and pillowcases seemed as though they had not been washed properly, and the mattress emitted a very funky odor, raising serious concerns about hygiene. The exterior of the building was equally alarming. The area was filled with individuals who appeared to be homeless, alcoholics, and drug users, making it feel very unsafe, especially for families with children. To make matters worse, there seemed to be drug dealers staying at the hotel, with suspicious people lurking in and out of the hotel area day and night. I even noticed some gang members hanging around the premises, which only heightened my sense of unease. The security measures at the hotel are severely lacking. There are numerous blind spots around the building due to an insufficient number of cameras, making the area feel even more unsafe. The staff did not help improve the experience. The check-in person was very rude and abrasive, adding to the overall negative impression of the hotel. In summary, this hotel is not a safe or comfortable place to stay, particularly for families. It requires significant improvements in cleanliness, security, and customer service to be considered a viable option for accommodation. I would strongl

Dead Roaches

The room was full of roaches. It was dead roaches under the stuck. The bathroom was in very bad shape. The bed had so many burned holes that I lost count.

This is by far the worst stay. It was dirty looking exteriorly and inside the room worse. The bath tub was painted and paint was chipping off. I had never seen anything like it before. The toilet seat was smaller rim than the actual toilet frame so it was awkward when sitting. The worst was the dirty towel provided! At first, i saw a long hair on the white towel as i looked closer i saw a coiled pubic hair!! That was disgusting!!! Luckily i had just bought a new towel and took my chances with that one! The bed sheet had multiple visible cigarette burns. The main room door was all beat up from the bottom all around. Then there was a huge fly inside. Luckily it was only 1 night and the pricing was ridiculously expensive for that stay! It wasnt as cheap as other stays ive seen. Just thinking about the dirty towel makes me gag!

I don’t blame the hotel, I blame Expedia for giving this place a 4 star rating when every other place gives a 1-2 star rating. Broken peeling walls, bugs, broken shower. We lasted about 20 minutes before we decided to leave. Felt unsafe and decided to go. Staff was nice.

Literally sketch and musty - don’t do it

Did we see men suspiciously huddled outside by a rusty truck holding handguns watching us walk to our room? Yes. Did we smell a lot of weed? Also yes. Did the manager have his dog in a small fenced section by the entrance to the lobby? Yes. Was our room musty? Yes. Were the sheets dirty? Also, again, another yes. Did we feel safe? No. Did we leave, jump ship, and checkout an hour after check in? Yes.

Quick check in

It was nothing like what was described on the photos. The room was filthy, the blankets were dirty, the front office was rude and didn’t wanna help with the complaints we had. It also had small mold in certain areas of the room

Don’t waste your time/money!

Stay clear of this spot. Room was not clean. Paid for a non-smoking room. When entered room there was a distinct smell of cigarette and whatever else. An ash tray on the dresser. Cigarette burns in the bedding. The Bible was desecrated. Foul language written on/ in it. A dirty pot/lid was found in the fridge with someone’s leftover beans. The filth under the beds was unreal.

I was scared for my life walking in the parking lot. People hanging out everywhere. People living in the rooms cooking outside their rooms.

The cleaning lady was so nice and so was the front desk. The room was not ready when we got there but they lady tryed her best to fix it for us.

Overall ok rooms

It was overall ok. The only downfall was they put me in a smoking room and i had to deal with the awful smell . Im pretty it made it seem 10 times worse since im pregnant. I wanted a non smoke room but they said unfortunelty thats all they had and i had booked in over a week ago. The room was comfortable to stay and sleep in. They did come in and clean and redo our beds etc.

Do not stay at this hotel.

The ad said it was quiet and safe. I felt neither was correct. Very noisy. I felt very uncomfortable. I tried fit two hours to get out of the stay but was unable too. The people at the desk said to hotels.com they did not know me. I gave up and stayed. The door had cracks around it. You could see daylight. The front door had been bashed in and also the bathroom door. The tile was peeling off the walls. I was extremely uncomfortable. The linens were clean. I checked out at 9 am the day we were to leave and several hours later they tried to charge us another night. We lost the one key and they charged us $5 to replace it and I see they charged us another $23 after we left. I have no knowledge of what that was for because I received nothing extra other than the extra key I paid cash for. This is the first time I have stayed at an OYO Hotel and I will never, NEVER stay at one again. Also, it is very inconvenient to locate. Not good for those visiting Seaworld. The pool was clean but very cold. No hot tub and no breakfast.

Nightmare from Hell

We booked this hotel for a two double bed room and received a king size bed, hotel looks like it was built in the 60's with the same floors, tiles, no recent updates on the property. The floors were dirty and sticky. The smell was overpowering of a flowery cleaner smell. There was a cigarette butt behind the toilet. I could not get my children in the tub because of the looks of it. There was only soap provided, no shampoo or conditioner. The description said breakfast was included, but not provided. HOTELS.COM should remove this listing from there web site.

Oyo Motel

This was a terrible place to stay. The room was not cleaned. The AC unit was about to come off the wall. There was no customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was a locate that look like drug deals happen. Do not stay here at all.

DONT STAY HERE

Place is trash. Stray dogs running around the parking lot, seems like the owners dogs. You have to pay $20 deposit just to get the remote to the tv. Owner was very rude and disrespectful. My mother had passed away the same day and her showing a little kindness wouldve went a long way, instead she was ugly and rude. You never know what someone is going through, you should always be kind to people. Especially paying customers. Would NOT recommend.

Stay away this place is horrible

Absolutely the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at. So bad I left 1 hour in to a 2 day stay. Door l9ck non functional. Only light in room that worked was bathroom. Filthy bedding. Just overall nasty looking place. I gave up 2 days of paid room it was so nasty.

Perverts and Occupied Room

We arrived and the receptionist was hitting on me and disrespecting my girlfriend. He gave us a room key with “109” on it and told me to ignore the number and that it was “106.” We went to room 106 after he gave more nasty remarks and the room was already occupied. We left.

This place is HORRIBLE AND DIRTY. if you want to feel like you are leaving with bed bugs THIS PLACE IS IT!!!! disgusting and no accommodations for their guests. Oh and all rooms smell like cigarettes even if it says no smoking :) also, there’s guys outside getting drunk. you feel very unsafe, unclean, and rude customer service. a disgrace I had to leave earlier then what I paid for. And no refund

I have been in the same room since October 31st and I payed the $40 deposit and booked for another day November 1-2 and yet had to pay $20 early check-in when I am in the same room which did not need to be cleaned or serviced then I payed in person before checkout time and was charged another $20 deposited on same room so I booked and payed a 3 day stay online pay in full with at Hotel com for 3-6 and was still in the same room and still woken up by staff to pay another $20 early check in when I am in the same room and have spent $60 plus every night since I used Hotel. com but if pay in person I will only pay for cost of stay so it is better to pay in person but yet I will not receive a stamp so I am wondering how I can go about this issue that has me confused over all rules are rules so I guess since I am limited in my fund will not be using Hotel. com anymore unless I could be remembered

Not a remodeled hotel for sure.

You get what you pay for. From the entrance the lady asked my name for the reservation . She then said oh ok it a 1 bed room. I said no i booked a 2 bed room and she started to tell me that was impossible to get that price for her hotel. She gave me a 5 minute spill of how much she charges for a single bed. When i showed her my reservation details on my phone she still was saying that was wrong. I told her i needed my room and she needed to figure out pri e issues with hotels.com as i am just the customer that booked it online. She finally gave in an said sure whatever. Room smelled instantly walking in. Like jesus i swear your great..great ...great grandmothers house dont smells this rancid. Then the room was vedy humid even with ac on. Bathroom tub looked like it was from 1980 it was peeling everywhere and yellow. Sink wasnt draining and toilet wouldnt flush. Youd have to fill it up from sink water to be able to flush. Under the beds and around had some white powder sprinkled all over. Im assuming it was some insecticide. Not appealing at all. Just overall gross.

For the price of the room I would have liked to be in a fresh cleaned room. Don't use your points for this property as I did. I would have thought John Wayne stayed there and 60 years later I stayed there. The room had 30 year old carpet and the floors was lumpy. Needs to be shut down and knockdown and rebuilted

I didn't expect much from a 2.8 rating, but this is terrible place to stay. Hallway is dark and dirty, room is smelly, pillow has dark stain, bathroom is terrible, bathtub coating all peeled off with cigarette burn everywhere. I was never so eager to leave the place next morning.

I am not mean. But it’s old. It’s not remodeled. It’s repainted. Everything is old and bad snd dirty. Tiles are old and bathtubs were painted and the rooms smell bad. I couldn’t do it and left. Send somebody there! And there are ash trays in both rooms I saw. It stinks in there.

Great price

It was clean and shockingly quiet. I had been there with previous owners and they sure have changed this place for the better. The bedding looked washed and crispy white. No fear of dirty linen

We could not stay there due to the dirty nasty rooms. Cockroaches everywhere. Lights didn’t work either. Gang signs on doors. Burn marks on tub, toilet and comforter in a non-smoker room. We did not check in nor did we stay. I recommend going anywhere but Oyo I am waiting for my refund.

Horrible hotel needs removal

I want a full refund more and more I have been using Hotels.com I have been getting horrible service. I checked in on time the room was used and filthy. The microwave had an old burger inside. The floor had nail clippings. No towels were available. The shower was filthy. Overall, the room was so poor. The condition was so unsafe. I'm afraid it will callapse any day. The building is not up to code. The area was not safe, it was dangerous for my family.

Front Desk was not helpful when checking in

Intended to spend my night here since they provided a very good price. However, it became a nightmare to me when they said my booking was cancelled, they couldnot do anything and asked me to make a direct reservation with them. You could imagine how struggling I were at 10PM with my 2.5y daughter in car and the fact that NO WHERE for her to sleep. This might be the first and last time I choose OYO as my rest place.

Bad experience, dirty, they put only one towel in the bathroom and when they go to cleaning the room, they stole my husband insulin that’s a shame. The room looks like you need paid lees than fifty dollars

Disappointing road trip

The hotel was over booked and we had to drive 2 hours back home . Staff was unapologetic and eager for me to leave.

Too many rules for not so good place

We paid for a double bed and they said they didnt have any available so they gave us a king size. We all had to sleep crammed up since it was very late and were tired. There was also a lot of activity of people walking back and forth that you could actually hear all the movements so we didnt sleep much. By the way, they will charge U extra if you are past check out time even its 5 min. U have to go turn in the remote to tv and key at the front office you'll get charged too if you don't. By the way there's an addt'l $50 deposit which will.be returned to you at check out.

Room was dirty missing tile on floors bed spread had cigarettes burns matress was all worn out could feel the metal wires flies in room,door didnt lock good and while showering dry peeling paint from shower was falling on my hair, guest across from us were arguing around 4 am only good thing was the receptionist lady was really nice and the air condition was cold stayed there 1 night only all other hotels were sold out due to the fiesta texas thats why we chose this one will i stay here again defenetly NO

OYO hotel is not a good place to stay for Expedia customers. That place doesn't seem very safe, moreover the guests staying there look at the way they walk and talk… I don't think it's a normal group of people. What's more important is that the Management at OYO is not being honest with Expedia, prove this, that I paid you, but when I arrived they said there was no room available!?! Why, why did you chảged to my credit card, but there's no room for me?

What i liked was the price, but thats not the end of it. We were treated so bad, the receptionist was extremely condensending treating me and my wife so poorly. We complained about the room and she was not having it. Paid for 3 nights and even though we were in the room for less than 5 minutes we only got 2 night back after complaining that the room smelled like an ashtray even though i booked a non smoking room, the lights didnt work and the restroom looked dirty. They also advertise "breakfast included" and when I asked about it they said they dont include it. Pretry much stay away if you can. The lady that was rude was upset because we complained but she let us know we were lying and that we should know that its an "80 year old hotel" and we should expect it to be how it was.

The hotel was dilapidated and broken down. The bathtub had cracks and the shower head was disgusting. There were tons of bugs and there were holes everywhere. The bed had burnt holes from cigarettes. The microwave even had expired food still inside it. Terrible experience and I don’t want to ever go back. Their advertisement said they have breakfast included but that’s false advertisement.

horrible place and a scandal rip off

Upon arrival i was asked to pay a deposit of 40 dollars which it should of had it included when i paid on line when checking out they wouldn't give me my deposit back cause the guy working up front said we checked out at 12:00 house keeping never came around the refrigerator was leaking what a rip off i will never stay there again 2 thumbs down very disappointed i wouldn't recommend it to no one motel 6 is alot better then the oyo hotel

This hotel sucks

The absolute worst hotel experience ever!!! After 9hours of driving, we arrive at the hotel. We proceed to walk in lobby and say we have a reservation. The guy just hands me a slip of paper and says you have to call this number. The hotel had been overbooked and they cancelled our room. They then proceeded to charge my account at $25 cancellation fee. After 2 days, i finally got the refund. I will never use this hotel chain again. We ended up having to drive another hour and a half to find another hotel

I like the service they were very help full i just didnt like the guest that stayed their very geto but over all place was great as far as service goes

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in we walked in we sat on the bed open the refrigerator which had mold in Old food the walls look like they had been kicked in and just painted over the pool had no chairs the parking lot was gated like it was a prison we decided rather than staying there to just drive back home to Houston it was so bad and the bathroom was disgusting nothing you don't even take a bath in looked very very shady by time we left at 9 at night you could tell that the hotel was therefore illicit Behavior I would never recommend not even worth a one-

Hotel Dirty

The place looked nothing like it’s pictures, definitely got hotel-fished. Door and walls have noticeable damage and discoloration. Bathroom door refused to move and the room had a strong stench of cigarette smoke. We didn’t stay the night. Ownership refuses refunds past ten minutes of check in but check in starts at the moment they access the booking not after the lengthy check in process that ensures you don’t have enough time to see the room and promptly return to leave. We were frustrated that we ended up having to eat the cost but happy we didn’t stay here. I understand that you get what you pay for but this place wasn’t worth it still.

Being ex military I’ve stayed in low end third world accommodations that were VASTLY superior to this DUMP. There was graffiti on the bathroom door on both sides! There was a baggie of what looked like drugs under one of the beds. We had four people in two rooms NONE of us was Brave enough to use the bathrooms, they were THAT bad.

The parking was horrible. The location was not safe at all. His customer service was HORRIBLE!! We never got off our auto, went back to front desk and he refused to give me a refund. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

This the most terrible experience I ever had in a hotel everything was broken from the doors to the chest and the beds. The front door lock is broken the bathroom door won’t close the top of the chest is broken and the best are very old color brown and it have a lots of stains on them terrible very terrible.

When you want cheap... that’s exactly what you get! Some military dorms are much nicer, but I got what I paid for... 2 nights $112.

Honestly I’m not used to staying at places like this and I know why. At check in the worker was rude. My reservation was for a 2 bed and she slid my ID to me and said we don’t have 2 beds.

Don’t stay here

If you’re looking for a place to get your head and shower that’s reasonably clean then look elsewhere. Room was filthy with Stains all over the doors and walls, room stank of cigarettes despite being non smoking and the bathroom was the worst I’ve ever seen - disgusting. We opted to try to just get our heads down anyway as we checked in late - BIG MISTAKE! We were woken at 1am by the room next door having a party. Music on full, load voices etc. Not ideal considering we had a 2 year old. I walked to reception around 130am to tell them and they eventually (and reluctantly) called security for the room and said we could switch rooms. Switching rooms with a sleeping 2 year old, crib, luggage etc is no fun. No apology from the hotel in the morning, just barely a grunt from the person at reception. Please don’t take the risk staying here because it’s cheap - it’s not worth your health and sanity!
