Good room sizes, bad pillows for some reason. They are like stones. Really weird to have a nicely kept hotel with such bad pillows.
A disgrace to the Novotel brand
A disgrace to the Novotel brand, I’ve been to other Novotels and this one is beyond horrible and has the worst service & rudest employees of any Novotel I have stayed at. Inadequate service, failed to deliver simple requests to rooms, segregated treatment of customers and lazy & rude management with zero consideration for acceptable communication. Stay at another Novotel, this one is beyond horrible.
Good location and
Good location, few minutes walk from Hammersmith tube station. We had a room towards the central courtyard so it was no noise from traffic. Good selection in the breakfast. Carpets were a bit worn, but for London this is quite standard. Would return again
The facility is renovated
The ac didn’t seem to work. Room in serious need of refurbishment particularly the carpet needs replacing at the very least.
Take money for a security deposit and then keep it
The stay was good but it is so incredibly difficult to get your security deposit back.
The hotel itself was excellent, all of the staff were as well. The room was clean, spacious and the complimentary drinks were a nice surprise and well used. There was also a small supermarket in the hotel, I didn’t use it but it was a great addition. There was however a huge convention happening in the hotel so services like restaurant menus were reduced, it would have been good to have been made aware of this ahead of my stay as I could have made other arrangements. Check in was also very hectic because there were hundreds of people in the hotel, but I didn’t have to wait long. I had planned on having a drink in the bar with some friends I was meeting but couldn’t use the bar because it was so busy due to the convention, we had to meet elsewhere. Parking is available but the spaces are very small, it was busy but this may have been due to the convention, it was £28 for the night.
Maria made us feel right at home after a seven hour flight. She was so accommodating, the best! The hotel is only a few blocks from the Hammersmith station only 5-10 minute walk. The beds were comfortable and the maids did a good job. Very safe area with several restaurants. Visit La Petite Bretagne, the crepes are to die from! Only concern was that that Comic Con began on Friday before we left and it was too packed to enjoy the lobby or bar area. Would definitely go back.
Great hotel
Hotel was spacious and clean. Room was fine although would have been too cosy if two children over age 10 were expected to sleep in the ‘double’ sofa bed. We were disturbed by people next to us and above us until close to midnight on two of the three nights we stayed which was very frustrating. Reception did send security to ask them to be quiet but that spoiled our stay and we were very tired. Other than that it was great and breakfast was amazing.
Handy hotel, but preferred the quality of the Premier Inn nearby.
It was ok but
Very nice hotel if you are visiting for a gig in Hammersmith bit disappointed that there was not a breakfast in with the deal, and the surprise £50 deposit ( which is refunded if your room is ok) that you will need to pay was a bit of an annoyance as it caught me totally off guard, this should be advisable notice upon booking in advance wether hotel.com advice or it is written into the guide. All in all great hotel friendly staff clean lifts a bit slow but there is always the stairs.
Would definitely book again
Perfect location excellent facilities
Nice hotel, very good location. Nice and friendly welcoming by Naim, very helpful.
Nice one. We love the place and there is a nearby underground metro which is very convenient when traveling around London. We will definitely go back again.
Comfort and relaxing
Lovely comfortable stay and friendly environment.
Great venue
Great venue for the Photography Show, comfortable room, sumptuous breakfast
Hotel was very modern and clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Location is excellent.
Very impressed with the hotel, staff and location, especially for the price we paid. I will definitely use again.
The lobby and the location of the hotel are really good. The queen rooms are quite dated and my room was a good 2 minute walk to the lift. The pillows and bed were quite uncomfortable. There was mold in the bathroom. I expected a newer room but was told all queen rooms were the same. Reception staff were very cheerful and nice.
Great property close to transportation but quiet
The hotel rooms are very dated. In need of a refurbishment. We didn’t have any socket power in our room so couldn’t even charge our phones.
good breakfast.
Great location! Less than five minute walk to Hammersmith tube/bus station. Plenty of dining options also within 5-10 minute walk. Clean and fun place to stay.
Would not book again
Bed was not comfy. There was hair in the bed and on the pillows. The walls were paper thin and could hear next doors conversations. The breakfast wasn’t great. Staff were nice and welcoming. The bar staff were good.
Good location 5 minutes walk from tube room was tired staff were very helpful
NA
Easy check in and out. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would have liked for the water to be replenished every day like mentioned but two nights we arrived without the room being made or water restocked. Also forgot a small bag with baby essentials and was never notified about it. Only found out when we arrived to our next destination.
Had a great stay in this hotel. Will be my first choice when next I'm visiting London. Very accessible to trains and buses. Not to far from city center.
Decent basic hotel but rooms require a refurb.
The Christmas decorations in the public areas were lovely however the bedroom was a little bit worn and had not been cleaned properly on arrival. The shower gel was empty and we had to request for it to be refilled twice. One of the lifts was out of order so there was often a large wait. There were none of the usual instructions in the bathroom for using the towels and saving energy.
Nice time
We had a pleasant one night stay at the hotel. Its location was ideal for main attractions in london. Thanks for a nice time
Great weekend made even better by the accommodation. Will use again when we visit London in the future.
Great
Great hotel, great location, great room, great parking
Great location the bar area and staff very helpful excellent breakfast
London Trip
Stayed for two nights. Really enjoyed stay. Breakfast was great too!
Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable and very clean. Short walk to underground.
The one night stay at the hotel was good. However, the single price/charge for breakfast - whether for coffee and toast or the full works - was not goid
Wonderful stay Property and room was excellent as were the staff
Everything that you needed was at hand Nicely decorated for Christmas The room was clean & comfortable. Staff were very polite & helpful. Would recommend highly.
Rodders
Nice large rooms. Not noisy. Everything working.
Clean room but we just got unlucky with noisy neighbours after a long haul flight…small space for four of us
For what appears to be a modern hotel, furniture is lacking. The mattress is not firm. There’s a stain on the carpet. The blackout curtains have tiny holes here & there. The bed is so close to the wall that I have to walk sideways & hit my head when getting up. Other areas of the room are clean over all. When I stay outside of my home, I expect to have equal to or better than what I have at home. I don’t have tears in my curtains & stains on the carpet. Our room is #9025 and apparently queen executive rooms are on this floor. It’s the highest and therefore you see the city scape very well. I couldn’t get the wifi to work. Pros are : slippers & robes. Bathroom is very updated which leaves me to question why the rest of the room has details not up to par. 4 pillows on the bed. A few snacks. 2 waters, 1 beer and a can of coke in the fridge complimentary. The staff is friendly & we tipped housekeeping daily We were allowed an early check in due to an overnight flight. (11 am) Location - roughly 4 miles from the theater district. Close enough to the train station if you chose to walk & don’t have mobility issues. *Housekeeping knocked and at the same time opened our room to which I yelled. That’s severely unacceptable. Personally, I wouldn’t stay again. There’s so many hotels to choose from in London. The hotel over all seems very clean and well kept. I scratch my head concerning these details. Reception wouldn’t address our concerns.
Excellent place for families. Very family orientated. Great atmosphere. Sweet cart was a big hit with our kids. Breakfasts were fantastic. Train station a 5 minute walk away. Fresh water in room every day.
Hotel was great, staff friendly and rooms had comfortable beds, perfect for short stay in London.
Nice hotel but room wasn’t ready until late
We arrived at 7.30pm and the room wasn't ready.
Very convenient (and comfortable) for concert at Eventim Hammersmith
Zero sleep poor intervention;
Staff allowed another couple staying to shout and scream most of the night next to us. Many of us had bad night. Poor intervention, care of residents.
Good location for concert at Eventim
The food was lovely, the room service was amazing the staff were nice and polite
Difficult Check in
Check in was difficult as i was checking client in. I had to come to the hotel from outside to show my credit card. This was quite inconvenient
Lobby restrooms needs attention.
Room was basic for it being an Executive room. Bed was not comfortable. Ordered breakfast for room, stated time but it was very late and had to ring to chase up.
Perfect for business as well as family stay
Walkable to Hammersmith station but you need to know exactly which exit to take. Service was indifferent, room was refurbished but bathroom was old, we had a bath towel that wasn’t clean, and the shower amenities provided was in a Rituals brand bottle but very watery and obviously diluted as if they were trying to cut costs. Left a small electronics device behind and it would have been a hassle to retrieve it as I had left the country so I was prepared to give it up, but it would still be nice if they had made an attempt to contact me and asked me what I would like to do with it.
Ashifa squire
The stay was very good . Staff were really friendly and helpful x
Fair
Stayed here for many times over the past few years. Been in different types of rooms. Only the premium executive rooms are up to standard. Cleanliness is just okay. Hardware is tired and outdated. Air conditioning in summer is a joke, even in winter times room is a bit too warm. Housekeeping for the room hit and miss. Location is convenient as it’s close to two tube stations.
Quality for very reasonable prices
Directions to the hotel are nonexistent especially as the location is set around heavily trafficked roads, the hotel front of house is good, along with the bar and restaurant facilities although the bar staff were a bit unsure when specific drinks were requested. The room was minimalistic considering the spec of the room booked. Breakfast was ok although probably of the same standard of a premier Inn which to be honest is not a criticism but the cup and breakfast items needed more attention and replenishment as these were lacking and this was not a the busiest period. Overall pleasant stay but overpriced for the experience.
Great location, friendly staff and very clean. Efficient check in. Only issue, it was a nightmare getting the lift from the ground floor to the reception area when we got back to the hotel in the evening !
Had a 6-night stay at Novotel and would recommend it to anyone traveling to London. The breakfast was great and there was a wide variety to choose from. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station and local transport. There were also many accessible restaurants and shopping. All in all a great hotel
Generally the hotel is good value for money. Basic room but nice refurbished bar area although the one staff member was very slow in serving customers and would only serve coffee in takeaway cups.
Good base to explore London from
The location is convenient for travelling, just next to Hammersmith Tube Station. The hotel room is clean and roomy enough for a couple. Although it is next to a flyover, we're not disturbed by external noise, perhaps it's due to room facing away from it. The one negative is that the mini bar wasn't cooling and smelled strongly of curry. We did mention to staff but this wasn't sorted despite us staying for 4 nights. However, we will still recommend this hotel for its convenience of travel and room comfort / cleanliness.
Lovely Stay and Kind Staff :)
I enjoyed my recent stay at Novotel London West. Its is more on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. The staff were friendly and accommodating and my room was clean. It would have been nice to have a few more breakfast options but the food was nice. I’m grateful for the team for kindly giving me a discount for the car park - much an appreciated. I would stay here again if needed.
Pleasant stay in West London
Pet-friendly and conveniently located
Lovely hotel, our third time staying here. Perfect for the Royal Albert Hall, just a short bus ride away. Very friendly, polite staff. Thank you.
Was amazing
Great location, close to transport that can take you anywhere you n the city. On the direct line to the airport. Extremely comfortable beds.
The room was run down and outdated. It was expensive considering this.
A/C available but not working, was told couldn’t fix a/c and couldn’t change rooms as all rooms were hot. Free water available -asked at front desk-said they would send it up to the room- never did. Rug had stains. Bed wrinkled. Loved the location to the Apollo. Quick-easy under 5 min walk to venue
Poor behaviour from a large hotel chain
About a week before my trip I realised I had booked the wrong area of London, I promptly contacted both hotels.com and Novotel directly to ask if they could change location and if there was an extra charge for the change of location I would gladly pay the difference. Firstly a lack of response from the hotel when I contacted them directly (to this point still no response dispite stating a 72hr response) then after several lengthy attempts thru hotels.com the hotel chain said they would not change location or refund so I could rebook … this was a genuine mistake and the lack of empathy or understanding showed me a huge lack of respect from a large hotel group … disappointing …
Overall great location. Tube Station easily within walking distance.
Good location with parking. Professional and friendly staff.
Friendly, relaxed atmosphere in the bar and reception area. Family friendly, and located perfectly for the Apollo. Nice touches like complementary sweets and fruit in the reception area. Also, as a Coeliac I dread hotel stays, but there were plenty of Gluten Free options at breakfast and on the food menu. That in itself is a reason for me to return. Great stay - very pleased!
It was a decent stay.
We had an amazing stay here in Novotel and have been treated very friendly by Mr. Ryle from the Managment team. He is professional and very personable. The whole staff were polite and helpful. Rooms are very clean with fridge always full with bottled water, juice, pops… carpets are not very clean but overall, everything was clean and in great conditions. Lobby and common areas were classy and nice to enjoy your free or business time. Quick access to underground train station with a short cut right from the lobby. Restaurants were great for drinks, coffee. Food. Breakfast offered continental and English style options with great variety. My family and I felt right at home away from home. Highly recommended.
There is no USB charging ports in the room.
Perfect location, but hotel is old and need renovation.
Clean and friendly
Nice and easy process and friendly staff from start to finish of our stay. Clean and well appointed room. Could not have asked for much more. I would stay here again.
Very convenient next to the tube, easy to get around
Easy check in. Helpful front desk. Room was dated and needed some TLC when we first arrived.
Have used this hotel several times, mainly due to the fact their holds the London Anime Convention. While the service has improved the rooms are somewhat dour and grey, and the rooms and hallways could really do with freshening up, they are a bit gloomy. That being said the bar area and the outside bar area are very pleasant despite the constant 'music' !
Customer service at the hotel was great especially making the kids feel extra special! Restaurant and bar were good, rooms are clean but a little dated.
Excellent property I love it and come back again
Helpful staff, nice room, good facilities. WIll come back.
Room was nice with enough space for two of us. The front desk gentleman whose name starts with W is the best! He went above and beyond being helpful. The only issue was, the bathroom smelled bad even though it was cleaned (I assume) on the days, we were just too tired from touring to complain or request moving to another room, and we were not even sure if moving to another room would be different.
Super chill place
Good property, needs updating though
Just OK
Location of hotel was excellent. Air conditioning was pretty much nonexistent, and it was very warm attempting to sleep at night. This would be my biggest complaint. Floor needed cleaning as the rug was tattered and dirty.
Front desk and room service workers were great. Polite and friendly. Very close to the tube. Can get anywhere. Convenient location. Safe neighborhood My only things i didn't like. Housekeeping was lacking. Had to call down multiple times to get towels and toilet paper that they never refilled while cleaning Breakfast was laacking. Save your money and eat elsewhere
Poor condition rooms
Good reception and restaurant. Rooom was in need of repair and refurbishment, Broken skirting held on with tape. Shower fittings broken. Kids bed defective. Nowhere near worth the cost...Needs urgent renovation or halve the price
Not first time in this hotel. Everything is good here. Breakfast in this hotel very diverse for England
We did have a slight problem with 1 of my rooms I booked, but the lovely receptionist’s sorted it and gave us complementary drinks on the bar etc 👏👏👏
Very good hotel with easy access to subway
Huge hotel!! Didn’t expect for it to be this big, I love the compliantary water in the rooms at the lobby, also the snacking candy! Also the mini shop in the lobby was very useful and came in handy for quick toiletries needed. The staff was very helpful as my flight landed @ 0700hrs and I arrived to the hotel around 0820hrs and they had a room available for me to do early check in at no extra cost, this was a huge plus as I had a 12hr flight from USA. The bar also served great drinks, I would stay here again, walking distance to coffee shops food spots & the tube
very good family friendly hotel
Not great, service poor, room was less than I was expecting. Restaurant food poor. Great location
Mixed review
Couldnt fault the room ..very difficult to park as no clear instructions..we chose this hotel as was just 1 mile to our venue ..on the ground floor we asked if we could book a cab to be told it was £40!! For one mile yes! ..we declined ..then asked reception on the 1st floor who booked us one and said £10..how can the first man justify booking us one at £40 ..something not right with that..otherwise hotel and room was great ..did not like the fact that the bars were all cashless ..
Worn out bathroom which is in desperate need of renovation. My friend’s room was also in the same condition as mine. Showers power very low; not nice at all if you expect a good proper shower after an exhausting day. Apart from the reception area, this doesn’t meet the expectations for “Novotel” considering the money you paid. I won’t use this hotel again despite the fact that it’s very close to Tube Station.
Best Breakfast!
Very clean and comfortable room and the Best Breakfast ever! The only downside was the shower - the lip to the walk in shower wasn't high enough so all the shower water ran out over the bathroom floor and under the door to the room - we had to use all the towels to soak it up!

Sketchy location but good inside.
The location of the hotel was a bit odd, although it was close to the Hammersmith tube station which worked well. It didn’t feel walker friendly as there are lots of roads intersecting near and around the hotel but I managed. Good news is that there is a taxi queue right outside which was convenient. The registration desk is on the first floor not the street level ground floor which can cause confusion. The sleeping rooms are basic but the bed was very comfortable. Food from the restaurants and room service was quite good as well.
