None of the outlets worked on the headboard. Only other outlet was in the bathroom. Tub had rust by the drain. Hall getting off of the elevator smelled like marijuana. Only received one room key card. I usually dont say anything if i dont have something nice to say but this was ridiculous.
Not bad area … staff little slow though..
Don’t recommend
The cleanliness of the hotel was poor. Upon arrival there was loud noise as if the furniture was being moved around. Couldn’t nap at all. There were long hairs on the floor and in the towels, and a dead roach in the refrigerator.
Lady was on the phone the whole time I was checking in and gave me a room key told me the room number and expecting me to memorize it and failed to provide me with a receipt etc….I got this room on Travelocity truck driver in all states I have no idea how I ended up in the most terrible spot…
Room and was clean and ac worked great
Oh well, you get what you pay for
That’s what I kept telling myself. My husband dogs and I stayed, he was having a medical procedure. I requested a dog friendly room on the 1st floor. Unfortunately that was not honored. Pets are only allowed on the 3rd floor. We aren’t too picky and managed of course with the elevator. I booked a double bed room and only noted 1 person staying. When I checked in I was charged an additional $10 per night since there were two of us. I had never experienced that, I was not aware of this being a charge when booking the room. The room itself was okay. Sticky floors, mismatched pillows and towels. At least the beds were clean. Each bed had two small pillows. With my husband was having a procedure done we needed a couple more. When I went down to ask the front desk an older man was at the front desk. I greeted the man and asked for the pillows. He then asked me how many my beds came with and said the two should be enough. He then told me my dogs better not be sleeping on the bed or the pillows. I kindly let him know my dogs are kennel trained and more behaved than most children, they were fine staying in their kennels most of the day. The gentleman which I later found out is the owner is very rude. No smile, no greeting ever when I would pass by. Believe me I tried, no response from him just glares when I would take my dogs out to do their business. My room card key also kept shutting off, due to it being next to my phone. He seemed to be annoyed when he had to switch it back on.
Avoid if you can.
The management/front desk was rude and short. The cleaning ladies were at least nice. This place is run down and stinks. It looks like the attempted a bit of an upgrade, however it is a horrible job. A handy man that has no idea about construction probably was the one who they hired. While I understand and appreciate security lights in the front drive, I don’t think they need to be visible inside the room. If the blackout curtains did the proper job it might not have been an issue. It was like it was daytime the 2 days I was there. Now I know what it would be like if I lived in Alaska…NO THANK YOU!! I think I’ve had better sleep on an air mattress compared to their mattress. Would not recommend this place, I guess it was worth the price.
Strong lingering smell of spices. Room floor needs attention: an occasional mop is good

Staycation. …
Stayed here for a week or so the people were very friendly and the location was nice. Plenty of options to walk to.
In the ghetto they have roaches and you’ll have to make the bed yourself cause it has blood and urine
Great place to stay
The room is too small
It was the cheapest place but very clean. It is close to HEB. Within walking distance. It’s good.
I had read previous reviews and was skeptical. I was right and should’ve canceled. The rooms were hot. Smelled clean but hot. The pillows were lumpy like they had been over used. Pillowcases were yellowed looked very old. We immediately checked out and found another hotel.
They did not leave the light on. Worth the stay for the price.
No closet for my clothing
It deserves its current rating..
Never again!
Creepy crawleys (the most gross) kind- bed sheets were not clean- hair on several bathroom areas and smelly room like cigarettes we booked a non- smoking room. Front desk said take it up w the 3rd party you booked with :/ and thats all we have we are completely booked. NeVER AGAIN! Oh and mattres omg so gross!
All good
I only stayed here one night, but overall the room was clean. However whenever I was about to climb into bed, I noticed a hair on the top blanket. The guy at the front wasn’t the friendliest but at least you were able to check in and get to your room. I probably won’t stay here again but it is a good place to stay if you are on a budget or were able to book it for free using your points like I did.
Excellent service! Will definitely be back!
I didn’t like the fact that they’re not any microwaves in the room you have to go to the 1st floor to use one Other then that the stay was 10/10
Kindness of strangers
I will say that the kindness and understanding the good folks here had, came at a time when I was at a low point. The place is lovely, clean and well maintained. The only bummer was the dryer was not working so I had soggy clothes but even that little hiccup did not take away from the good experience I had overall.
Noce place not bad at all.
This hotel had lots of large dogs and noisy children in hallways at all times. Staff was very short and not friendly.
TV was stuck in emergency alert mode the entire time period I called them from the room phone and they said they were busy at the moment and offered to give me a discount.
ok
The need better communication services at front desk. I couldn’t hear the man in the glass box
Perfecto
Property is horrendous and so is the staff. Room 224 has roaches. Make sure you tell them before check in. Look at room nene check on. Idk how. Because once you check in. You will not get refund.
Was nice not that bad just a few detail cleaning and excellent
Wouldn’t let me get a room without paying 50 dollar cash deposit. When I said it didn’t say that and I don’t carry cash they wouldn’t let me in. The front desk person was mad that I checked in in the middle of her show.
It was small and very quiet. The restroom was not very clean we bought some clorox wipes to clean it ourselves
Don’t do it
Bed sheets burned my skin I had to sleep dressed Place smells and is dirty It’s a dive
The bath tub was dirty. The sheets had hair on them. Pillows smelled gross and clearly dirty.
No review other than ratings above.
It was good but the elevators smelled a lot like marihuana
Front desk asked me for $50 in cash three times as a "deposit" and insisted she would only accept cash. I refused and she did not press any further. I had to clean up the tub to use it.
It was decent
there was trash on under the beds. never swept or vacuumed. bathroom had toothbrush in shower, no coffee maker, no microwave. no do not disturb sign.
Great location, easy to get to. Clean, convenient. Facilities look good. Very good value for your travel dollar. The only thing they can improve is the refrigerator set in the room-was a bit worn and hard to open.
small and VERY dirty floors. You get what you pay for but I’ve stayed at better motel 6’s. Location was just convenient
Not staying again
Not impressed, normally don’t stay at these locations but it’s the only thing I could find near the airport available. Smelled weird and not cleaned very well. Bed was uncomfortable and lots of traffic in and out of the hotel with loud noises. Seemed like there weren’t walls it was so loud.
Some of the staff was rude and the room was damaged and dirty.
Clerk was very rude and had an attitude. Jeans and a dirty t-shirt are not appropriate attire for checking in guests. So much more but nothing will happen, anyway, so why waste my time.
Very very dirty. Cockroaches and flies in the bathroom
I was told that the pool was ready. Asked several times as to when pool was going to be clean. Water was very green. Then one of the staff members stated that the pool was broke and not working. We asked if pool was working or ready for use before booking a room. And they stated that it was. The pool was never ready.
I
There was hair on the sheets.
Very barebones motel. Asked for extra pillow but told none available twice. No soaps or shampoos in bathroom. Refrigerator was unplugged & moldy Hallways reeked strongly of skunk & curry Smoke detector coved by plastic. Not safe Trash all over grounds surrounding Unfriendly personnel who struggled to communicate behind slab of bulletproof glass without holes to talk through
Great all around
Been there before. Earlier the place reeked of marijuana in the hallways and the desk clerk was kind of rude. Plus the TV was on the blink and there was no coffee. This time it didn't smell so much like Weed and the desk clerk was more polite. Plus this time the TV worked and there was coffee both mornings. Only two dings I can give was the water pressure in the shower could be better & the door closest to where I parked in back wasn't able to be entered from outside going in,only inside going out.
Not up to satisfactory as Motel 6 policy upholds
Room was not clean. Found stains on the walls. Damages on the doors and walls. Fire detector was covered in plastic. Window was never cleaned. Had forehead grease marks still on it. Asked for non-smoking and could smell cigarettes in my room from down the hall. Pillows were flat and felt like it was just stuffed with towels. Sheet's and covers on the bed were not clean. Had stains on them. Was charged $50 for my service dog and had to make sure that they knew ahead of time that the damages were captured on phone before we committed to the room, that it was not my service animal. Very unsatisfied with my stay.
Quiet, affordable, clean and in a good location.
Clean
The dirtiest room I’ve ever stayed in, and that is saying a lot, because I’ve stayed in some rough places. There were pubic hairs all over the toilet and in the tub. It looked like someone had trimmed their beard, as there was hair all over and in the sink (separate from the pubic hairs). There were also hairs on the pillows. The toilet flush handle was broken. The room was musty and smelled like cigarettes. I brought this up to the staff and they declined to put me in another room, and instead sent the cleaning lady to my room, who took pictures of what I started the issues were, gave a half-hearted attempt at cleaning (by this I mean she took about 30 seconds to look at the issues and then didn’t do anything about it). The room was so dirty that I slept on top of the bed and didn’t even shower. Also, the chain is dog friendly, however the individuals running this location are not. I was scolded by the older gentleman who worked at the front desk when I brought in my leashed service dog, because he is a large breed. I am not a person who complains, and I understand that this is a budget motel chain, but this was ridiculous. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. DO NOT stay here, if there are no other places available, stay in your car and save your money.
Clean and quiet
Nope
Extremely rude front desk, had to continuously ask housekeeping for stuff. They charge a $5 non refundable fee on top of their $50 deposit that you have to pay everyday. Not accommodating at all. As a disabled person they put me on their top floor with their barely functional elevator. It’s a motel 6 so I didn’t expect much but literally every person at the front desk was rude. Confused why they got into the hospitality business in the first place.
After a bad experience this hotel was really refreshing, clean and quite place. The only problem was that the room didn't have microwave.
No coffee in room, no hair dryer or iron or ironing board. Had to go to front desk to get a hairdryer and had to return within a short time.
Ac didn’t work, front desk didn’t have an extra pillow, no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, hair in the shower, bed was super hard. Outside was a mess, over all didn’t measure up to other motel 6s.
Hallway was not air conditioning, the property had a real strong curry smell, the sheets weren't changed out from the last visitor, stained and front desk wanted me to change it. Very disappointing.
It is what it is Motel 6. Front desk is rude in every way possible. They don’t even want to give you a bar of soap lol.
It was not bad, I just wish they wouldve told us for the extra fees that were added, I had to pay 300$ when my cost was just 170 to begin with.
Burns and dirty sheets, blood on ground
Cheap but dirty and had hair in towels and in sink. Also they had the worlds tiniest pillows with absolutely nothing on the walls but wholes.
Ok
Nothing
Everything was alright. The only problem was that I was always being watched and looked at like if I was gunna steal free breakfast.
The front desk staff was rude.
It was ok.
Good
Terrible customer service, people in the front desk would get mad if questions were asked
Often, a direct experience is less important than how an organization responds to to a users exp., We understand mistakes are not only probable but easy to make; in my previous review i shared exp i had regarding this property, today, im sharing the subsequent phase of my exp. to update the predecessor, The young woman I referenced in the previous review(Ms. Sally) Arrived yesterday A.M & promised to correct the situation upon checkout. Ms. Sally was able to restore my faith in humanity, she was on the situation like glue, she was cordial, concise & assuring. This makes all the difference. Today id like to share a more stable reflection of the property, Consistency matters, the cleaning ladies are great; I believe, as far as cost VS reward, this property is in a sweetspot of the two, it is the cleanest & most suitable for anyone w/ standards, at the fairest rates. Thank You Ms. Sally I appreciate your help.
Too much going on during the night.
Walls are extremely thin. Could hear the neighbor snoring next room. The room above mine was very noisy at night and during the night. Dropping heavy things. Sounded like they were moving furniture around. Room Doors slamming during the night. Just very noisy overall.
Do Not reserve here, they have stolen from me. The individuals who dp the room cleaning are nice, the individuals who are front desk have immigrated from india & are entirely predatory. I reserved & rebooked on Expedia & the woman at the front was frustrated by this as ‘my card had to keep being run’ she requested i help make things easier for her & use a cash deposit. I navigated to the front desk to check in & explained to the elder man who was now at the front desk that id be doing a cash deposit this time, as requested, i only had a $100 bill with me, the gentleman accepted & told me i could pick it up after 3 days, he took the bill, wrote a small note & attached it. I arrived sunday to acquire my cash deposit & was yelled at, accused of forgetting, essentially every reaction an immature person in the wrong would give... ‘you picked it up and forgot’ (wow) this man whom i handed my money to & hoped i could trust was now telling me I remembered incorrectly & that i was incorrect, treated me like a clown, not once did i raise my voice or step outside myself, when he saw me walk in, he knew why i was present & made me stand while he sat on his phone for 5 minutes, then angrily got up, ready to steal from me, he/they are theives. Do not leave these ‘ppl’ with a cash deposit, they will steal it and pretend your misremembering & yell that ‘something must be wrong with you’ ..the absurdity is far too high for myself to even process in the moment. Dont reserve this location.
One night stay
Good for it's purpose of n overnight stay
No large bath towels the first night. AC/Heat had intermittent operation.
1st stay at a Motel 6
Clean comfortable room.
Its a good stay for the money you pay for..
Bare bones motel
The room was very affordable, but had zero amenities. NO shampoo, lotion, mouth wash, etc. Two small bars of soap. No facial tissues. Thin, thin towels. Small refrigerator. No coffee maker or microwave oven. No coffee, no breakfast, nothing. Clean room with a TV and that was it. Comfortable bed. It was walking distance to a great restaurant, the Pacific Moon, and to a Whataburger and HEB. If you just want to watch TV and sleep, it was great. Cost me $56.00 for the night in northwester San Antonio near 1604 and 281.
very clean but no microwave or clock. staff seemed indifferent. I had to replace batteries in remote (TV) and it was still awkward as to how to controll it. I would stay again but tech and basic utilities would be nice if provided/upgraded. Also, small fridge had no freezer which I like as I create ice chuncks for my small cooler instead of grabbing buckets of ice from ice machines. Overall... I'd stay again due to cleanliness, but for a slight increase of fee would like in room microwave and coffee maker. *and advance notice I have to put a deposit down upfront for possible dammages.
It was in a decent area, and easy to get to,but my TV was stuck on ONE channel that I couldn't change either with the Remote or on the TV itself. Also smelled a lot of Weed in the hallways?
Very confortable
At site deposited on budget friendly rooms
It was ok the reason for the stay was not for enjoyment but to handle some personal issues no one bothers me but one thing did I continue to get hit with room deposits and it’s never listed with hotels dot com why are you not fire warning ppl that this is at least a possibility
Extremely noisy No hairdryer
Sheets were dirty.
Wifi was good, room was clean. Location was convenient
Excellent!!!
Excellent place!!
Worst hotel ever stayed in. Room was musty and dual. When arrived ac wasn’t even on took our stay to come to a end quit early departure.
Cigarette burns all over bedspread dirty nothing like the pictures
One towel on the rack was dirty. Toilet paper was almost out on the roll.
No what I expected and it had a bad smell too it .
It was ok.. but they asked gor a $50 deposit.. Not happy about Other places never ask... But i explained i wasa frequent visitor and tgey waived it..
Affordable, quite area. My dog and I had no issues or complaints.
Could hear tvs on both sides neighbors were killing a big roach that was in there room and out in the hallways he claimed there was more. Hair dryer was also sparking when drying my hair.
Choose a different hotel
The elevator was broken and I had 4 very heavy bags. They put me on the 3rd floor. The bedspread looked like it had a bloodstain and the outlet by the bed did not work. I know Motel 6 isn’t the Ritz, but I I expected at minimum a functioning property.

Staff was rude. We got in a bit early and tried to check our bags and they do not offer this, not even for additional fee which we offered. Staff was very rude and said 'We've had bad experiences." There was actually a water bottle with a singular sunflower in it at the lobby desk, very gross property with rude staff. Would not recomend.
