Facility staff were unfriendly upon my arrival.
I enjoyed my stay. The view was amazing.
Our stay was great. I wish there were more dining options but other than that everything was great.
Very helpful staff
Room is clean and big enough . The prices is reasonable on February,2025
Clean property and friendly people.
All excellent. Great staff and great facility.
Just amazing. Everyone was amazing. I will be staying there again
Very convenient
Check in staff was extremely cold and rude.
I enjoyed being here. Front desk were very attentive. I look forward to coming back in July.
Great experience and staff. Stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and the stay here couldn’t have been better. Thanks to the kind staff who made the weekend experience even better!
I loved the water and city view. I highly recommend
All good!
Lovely property
It’s a disco style lobby and Ambassador Grill but all bathrooms were new and updated. Now they need to brighten up the dark dull hallways! We loved our view and convenient. One problem…. The towels were old and very thin! Get some plush thick towels and reupholster the couches. Grill breakfast could be improved yoo
Good staff
The service was grate check in guy was very friendly and funny also people that was walking around saying hello and wish us a great stay. But bar and dinner not so good service and all. We decided to go out and eat and we had an amazing dinner with life opera.
I’ve been staying at this property for about 35 years as it changed hands to different hands. My stay this time was my last. Rude, rude, sourpuss staff. Rooms are sparse and bland, lights didn’t work. The worst part was the attitude of the staff at the front desk. Never again.
Great location. 10 min walk to Grand Central and M42 bus stop is 3 mins away.
Great plans to stay. Not as close to the metro as I’d like it to be but still walkable. The staff in the restaurant was a little neglectful to me but it’s all good.
I had high expectations for this hotel based on its website descriptions and a phone call with a representative, but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. The primary reason for booking this hotel was the promised “lavish city view,” but what we received was far from it. The view was underwhelming, nothing like the beautifully curated photos online or the assurances given over the phone. It felt misleading and left us feeling like we had been given a less desirable room than what was advertised. However, the most disturbing part of our stay was the cleanliness—or lack thereof. Upon entering the room, the very first thing we saw was a roach. This was not only disgusting but completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that presents itself as a high-quality establishment. It immediately set a negative tone for the entire stay, making it hard to feel comfortable. Overall, this hotel did not live up to expectations in any way. The misrepresentation of the view and the glaring issue with cleanliness made for an unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.
It went well and I enjoyed it.
The view was Great
I liked the location because it was private and the view of the East river. They will charge you $35 for a food credit so make sure you use it… in the restaurant or the on site coffee shop
Beautiful view
The hotel was just so-so. It was a small room with an uncomfortable bed. The TV that could not connect to there network so we could not get movies o streaming services as we were supposed to. Tiny but clean bathroom. I will say this it did have a great view. The first front desk person let us stand there for about 7 minutes before she even acknowledged us she was very rude and short but had no problem taking my credit card. But told us we would have to wait to check in since we were there 30 minutes to early. The next guy who actually checked us in was great though and the barista was top notch and great to talk with. The hotel is old and could use some touch up. The room is very basic in function and décor. The bed was basically a poor mattress with only a cardboard material velcro thing that kept popping off to block your view of the wood and underneath the bed. For all it hype it is just okay. Not what we were promised and so not worth the price. There are better hotels closer to everything for a better price. I would not come back without so amazing discounts on the price.
Awesome
From the minute we check-in the staff was very friendly and helpful & area is super quiet.
Hilton Millenium UN
We enjoyed our stay to celebrate our anniversary. The service, especially the housekeeping did a great job with our room and our request. The front desk was very efficient too. The location of the hotel is the best, not a lot of traffic, not congested. A lot of food options around the hotel, close to St.Patrick's Cathedral where we heard mass and gave thanks.
Amazing stay
Staff were kind and friendly
My experience was great
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable with a wonderful view.
Disappointing experience
The stay was nothing short of undesirable. The room had a broken thermostat and blasted heat. We had to have the front desk send someone to the room. They could not fix the thermostat and had to disassemble the ceiling to manually shut off the heat. The TV did not work properly, the carpet was gross, the service behind the desk was slow, unresponsive and overall unhelpful. Took 30 minutes of waiting in line just to speak with someone. Because we booked through hotels.com we were unable to receive a refund for our issues and the best they could do was give us food credit during our stay. Won’t be making that mistake again or be staying at that hotel in the future The only photo I had was of the TV because I was at my limit and it became a joke at that point
Front desk Brandon was great
The room was outdated; the carpet was old and damaged, and the windows were dirty. However, if you’re going to the UN, the hotel is very well located.
Not bad. Very clean.
Loved this hotel highly recommended!
This hotel provides the best type of security and it is very quiet due to the area. The rooms have a bit of updates and it is clean. Just wish there was a fan in the bathroom as it creates a musty smell in the room after and also some of the hotel features (lamps, faucet, etc) are a bit hard to operate/weird. Overall the stay was nice, just wish the musty smell would be fixed (maybe old carpeting).
Excelent
The bed comforter was moldy, the reception was rude when I asked to speak to a manger about the matter, and they failed to disclose prior to booking that each room was required to pay $36 for their cafe and restaurant which both had very limited options
I wish the fridge in th room was a bit larger. We could only for 2 bottles of water and 1 tea in there.. it was more esthetic than anything. A better breakfast would have been nice.
Toilet doesn’t flush well
The view from my room
This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in NEW York. VERY roomy and clean. This is now my hotel when traveling to NY.
Was close to time square and a lot of other places you want to see in NYC.
The views were incredible
Had a great visit. Check in staff was very efficient, courteous and friendly.
Spectacular views!
Everything is good The views are spectacular!
I purchase stay in the city views corner room , no blankets to sleep in , no cups , tv was broken .. complain and reported what was going on , they switch my room which was actually a downgrade went from 39th floor to 29th floor with a building blocking my view now I’m in the “new” they put me in sink clogged up overall a terrible experience wouldn’t recommend at the price point I spent isn’t worth it a motel would have been better at that point
They charge you a resort fee when the rooms are terrible! They won’t even give you water! I would not recommend this hotel not even to someone that does not have place where to stay!
What I like is the water front which you can see from your room window. I hotel is very nice. It’s my 3rd stay here at the hotel and I really enjoyed the city views.
Great bed, large room, view over city, clean
The staff were very friendly but too many hidden fees that are ferociously high. For how much I paid, I’d expected the rooms to be more modernized.
Excellent checkin agreed to all of our special requests
Check in clerk did not advise us of the food and beverage credit at check in
For the price and added fee’s, you’d think the hotel rooms would be more updated & clean. We upgraded to a corner/king room with a view. The bathroom was actually really gross & not clean. There was residue on the toilet, rust/mold/dust in the bathtub. Shower heads also had black mold. Even the shower curtain was completely stained & disgusting. I have tons of pics to prove it.
great view, clean slace
I purposely booked a deluxe room because of the city views it had with floor to ceiling windows according to the pics. Unfortunately the room looked NOTHING like what I thought I booked
its not same room
I was not as impressed with the first room I was offered. Room 3236. It was dirty and dusty. Stains on the curtains and sofa and one on the bed. Furniture was outdated and really beat up. I asked front desk for a different room shortly after and got room 4037. The room was up to Hilton standards! I was impressed with the cleanliness and spectacular view of the city. This is what I paid for and expected from Hilton. I appreciated the staff and location and the amenities. I will gladly stay here again if I get a room similar to 4037 again
Loved the entire experience.
Convenient Location
Will definitely come back!
The Hilton always have the best mattresses! Brandon at the front desk was the best! And the 1st morning there, a lady in the coffee shop made me the best iced coffee I've probably ever had! (I am a starbz snob) It was that good! I'll definitely come back, preferably when it's warmer!
The staff, including the manager Nikemil, were fantastic. We had a few housekeeping issues with our rooms upon check in, but they were very apologetic and met our needs when things went wrong. It was an enjoyable stay over the Christmas period.
Nice
The view we had in our room
I liked that the property was safe and had access to taxis
Great for a quick getaway
Great stay, quick and easy, very practical location.
Very nice place
O! The fees.
Went for 2 nights to see Broadway shows. Was hit with $100/night parking fee and mandatory $100/night fee for incidentals ($65/night would be reimbursed). If you think of visiting for shows, it's about a 30 minute walk to Times Square. The hotel itself is average, maybe a little dated, but the staff in attentive and informative.
Room was dirty. Gunk stuck to the walls. Shower had a strange smell. Rugs looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in ages. Fridge had black mold in it. Body wash in the shower was empty. Couch was covered in huge dark stains. Towels were threadbare and gray.
Very quiet and no traffic
Rooms were excellent and service was amazing. Good space in the room / closet / bathroom. The city view was spectacular. Plenty of local cafes and food places. Good walking distance to transport. Cafe was nice but overpriced. Dining/breakfast was rubbish and definitely overpriced.
I wish my room had a microwave in it
This is terrible hotel no one helped me with luggage i got two kids was feeling so helpless.
The staff was polite and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I was unhappy with the room, the door did not lock properly and the latch to prevent an intruder from coming in was halfway hanging on the wall. The carpet is very old and should be removed or replaced to rid the stale odor in the room.
Nice staff
we love everything the overall experience stays at millennium hilton hotel
Would never stay here again. Music played from 7pm to almost 4am. Had to travel the next day and got almost no sleep. No ice buckets or ice. No room service.
Very safe place to stay with friendly staff
The corner city view room was breathtaking, whenever booking a hotel, of course you’re unsure of what it will really be. But the pictures are exact, very beautiful.
Everything
Upper level with good view
Very safe and convenient. Especially there is a K9 on duty all the time.
Great

The serene environment
Hotel is tired and was not particularly clean. Interactions with staff at the front desk were hostile. The rooms are basic and ours wasn't very clean. Dust everywhere. The views are great though.
Nice for when traveling from Grand Central . Walkable
I was disappointed. Hilton should pride themselves with excellence, however, they lost their passion for that. Outside of the paper thin walls, , which you can hear everyone and everything! The hotel was just average. For the money you spend, you would expect excellence.
Next door was very loud 24hours when I stayed. Other than that very nice.
Great location midtown! We walked everywhere. Bed was super comfortable. Would stay here again and recommend it as well.
Greay
Absolutely fantastic! Accommodating in all aspects
Nice view of the water, and city.
Very nice hotel. Only issue we had was at night it was hard to get a drink. Other wise it is a nice hotel
Wonderful stay and will be returning on our next BYC visit!
Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza | Hotel in New York | Travala.com
Globally ok. Hotel is old and requires refreshing. Not a small desk in the room: surprising. Main complain: I was proposed by Front Desk they send to me my Restaurant bill by e-mail and I needed 3 days and many e-mails with "Hotel Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza sent you a message" to get my invoice. Very unpleasant e-mails and person: I was asked 10 times my e-mail while I answered with this e-mail and it was in my registration !
