The serene environment
Hotel is tired and was not particularly clean. Interactions with staff at the front desk were hostile. The rooms are basic and ours wasn't very clean. Dust everywhere. The views are great though.
Nice for when traveling from Grand Central . Walkable
I was disappointed. Hilton should pride themselves with excellence, however, they lost their passion for that. Outside of the paper thin walls, , which you can hear everyone and everything! The hotel was just average. For the money you spend, you would expect excellence.
Next door was very loud 24hours when I stayed. Other than that very nice.
Great location midtown! We walked everywhere. Bed was super comfortable. Would stay here again and recommend it as well.
Greay
Absolutely fantastic! Accommodating in all aspects
Nice view of the water, and city.
Very nice hotel. Only issue we had was at night it was hard to get a drink. Other wise it is a nice hotel
Wonderful stay and will be returning on our next BYC visit!
It is ridiculous hotels especially Hilton doesnt have room service
Rude stuff behavior the room is not clean totally bad experience
A nice view & staycation
Overall the check-in was easy. room was very spacious and the view was gorgeous! Only thing was I could see the counters and walls weren’t deeply cleaned. I saw marks and hairs. Other than that, loved the credit towards the restaurant and cafe and bed was pretty comfortable! I’d do a staycation here again!
Good view of the river but the room was dirty. I opened the fridge to find an open half empty beer can, some carrots and a cheese stick. Plus there was metal beer caps around the bottom of the fridge and some more trash debris behind the trashcan. Im guessing someone pretending to play basketball with the trashcan and missed and didnt bother picking it up. (Neither did the room service people). Room wasnt vacumned prior to us arriving. Plus inside the coffee machine was dirty. The hotel provides a 35$ per day food and beverage credit but charge 10$ for a water lol. Wouldnt stay here again.
Next to stay again
There is a good location. Nice view. Beside of UN / Unicef. Recommend to stay here.
Older hotel but good sized rooms for Manhattan
Very comfortable, clean and spacious. Although most of the staff were very kind and helpful, the delivery and luggage services were poor.
Our Stay was Nice. Room was properly cleaned, seems like it’s in need of a facelift. Also the little things count like no Lotion, or no spare trash bag on the room or bathroom. And the price for breakfast at the hotel to me was a little steep.
Excellent location. However, dated furnishings, poor quality towels, empty soap dispenser and tissues not replaced. Bar hours not practical.
Really great experience
Loved the stay. We opted for the corner room and had a wonderful view of the city. The staff were so energetic and polite, as well as the cleaning staff. Would definitely recommend. You’re only a quick 5min walk from grand central station so everything is accessible, but if New York feels overwhelming you’re isolated enough to get a reprieve.
Terrific stay
Our stay was phenomenal. I was extremely impressed with cleanliness and how nice the entire staff was. Room was much bigger than anticipated with being in NYC. 0.4 miles to nearest subway stop (grand central).
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It is very clean, well designed, with great staff. The one shortcoming was that my room was close to the elevator, and the noise of the elevator motors repeat constantly from early morning to the wee hours of the night. I dealt with it by turning on white-noise on my phone, but it would have been good had I been made aware of it at the outset.
They were able to get us an early check in and late checkout . The staff in the restaurant were very kind as well .
Amazing hotel and best value for money on any hotel I’ve stayed in New York. Food was expensive but very nice. Only negative I have is they charged me twice for check out fees, they refunded straight away but have been told this may take 2 weeks to go back into my account
Excellent service from check in to check out!
Nice
I’d say it’s good hotel overall and good location to stuff if you don’t mind walking. The rooms could do with some tech updates but they were spacious. Staff were lovely
Loved the service
Everything was wonderful; especially the great surprise of a daily $35 allowance at the cafe/bistro ... we used that and were very appreciative. The only problem we had, was the thermostat in the room didn't appear to work, we could only choose "heat/cold" ... but setting a target temperature had no effect :(
Good location, $35 daily credit towards food with multiple options on the property. Bed/pillows weren’t great, and I woke up with neck pain the first night. Also heard a lot of creaking/noises like there were mice in the walls.
Staff was amazing. View was 10/10
It was a nice location
Beautiful hotel
Very high end place.
Ibwont return to this hotel, front desk was not good, they didn't care about guests!
Hotel is good Lobby is dated and so is the bar/resturant But still good
Upscale and great checkin experience
We’ll maintained property
Absolutely love our stay here
Kinda far from everything be prepared to walk, good views from the room
First time in a while, if you don’t mind walking towards the most popular areas, it’s a good place to stay quiet not too much traffic in that area, Not much options in the restaurant bar area, no big deal But I could’ve eating in the hotel
Staff was rude
I like the lobby seating area
.
Ya
It was a very calm stay even for one night. We needed a place close to a lot and to our venue at the MET. I loved the rooms and the staff were all very friendly as well. I felt very safe at this location and welcomed.
Bedbugs or equivalent bit my wife's legs twice
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful during my visit. Would recommend this hotel to others.
Great views!
Views were incredible from the 33rd floor corner king! Service was great and everybody was very friendly. Only issue was our mini-fridge wasn't plugged in and didn't appear to be working. There was no ice machine either (which may just be an NYC thing). Would highly recommend though!
no microwave and no ice machine
Best Service
Someone got stabbed day light outside the hotel As they say watch your back
Overall great stay for quick work trip
I booked a two double bed room and got a one queen bed room. I asked them to change and they couldn’t. So I ended up paying a for another room. Worst experience ever.
The rooms where clean, bathrooms clean , i will definitely stay here again for my next visit. I love it
Excellent! Amazing views will def come back
Excellent all round. Fantastic staff.
I’ve been a Hilton Honors Member since 1998 and I’m shocked that the Millennial has such sub par service. Clearly does not measure up to the Hilton brand name I had 3 rooms with 4 different employees staying there for almost 3 weeks and they all agreed that the service from start to end was a major disappointment. This is very surprising considering that they are across the street from the United Nations building. On several other occasions, I asked to speak with a Manager at the Concierge and was told that none was working after 5pm A major disappointment
I liked it
I liked everything
I booked the hotel for the beautiful city view it offered, from the time I arrived to the time I left I was in absolute awe at how beautiful it was and the super comfy king size bed is just what I needed after a long work week!!!
Love Frank
Just okay. The area is safe and there’s plenty to eat nearby. Also, most of the staff were nice. Otherwise, the rooms were really small and facilities need some upgrading. Also, they charge $35/night as a food credit whether you use it or not. That’s odd. I don’t think I would stay here again.
Great property!
The bathroom was dirty. No tv control. Rude front desk staff
Loved view. Staff was wonderful. Room needs updating. Refrigerator not working, tv remote not working, shower and sink drain very slowly. Actually enjoyed my stay and would consider returning.
Walking distance to touristy areas. Great view from room!
Great front desk service! Great view from the west side of the building. Can’t wait to come back .
Location and staff was excellent. The room had some wear and tear but it was clean.
Great stay
Dust inside room
Amy had an attitude when we asked to receive our original booking which were two full beds. When we checked in they gave us a handicap room and one king bed. We called the front desk immediately and told them this is not what we paid for. Smh
Place was super clean and close to everything ! The room was perfect and the view breathtaking
Nice view!
Staff was absolutely rude - absolutely unhelpful and not interested in doing their jobs No water provided Wanted to do breakfast, placed order and then later was told kitchen is closed Worst experience - will never stay here
Great times and will stay again!
Lift was too slow. Lounge is too small for the size of this hotel
Great property! Only slight complaint is the bathroom smelled a little bit.
I had an exceptional stay at the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza! The hotel offers stunning views of the East River and iconic landmarks, providing a perfect backdrop for both business and leisure. The rooms are spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring every need was met. Located in a prime spot, it's just a short walk to popular attractions like Times Square and the Empire State Building. Highly recommend for anyone visiting New York!
The room carpet needed cleaning and was quite dirty. Otherwise it was okay.
Second Time Staying Here
Amazing experience as always. Courteous staff and clean rooms.
Rooms were good size for NYC
Great
Not as booked or advertised
Hotel was advertised as having parking included. Parking was not included, valet was 100 a day. Street parking was very minimal. I booked a room with double beds and was given a king bed and told no other rooms available. Keys did not work when first given, had to be reset.
Loved it
Just wanted to write an amazing review for Nick, as well as the rest of the great staff at the Millennium Hilton UN Plaza. We recently stayed here for our marriage ceremony in Central Park and there was a mistake with the room we booked through Expedia. Nick went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay on our special trip. We didn’t get the exact room that we booked, but ended up with what I believe to have been an even better one because Nick. He was very kind, personable, as well as accommodating. We just wanted to give him and the rest of the staff including Yomi, Adina, all the bell men, and everyone else there a huge thank you! We highly recommend. The rooms we stayed in were very unique & extremely spacious for any city, but especially for NYC! We will definitely be back to stay again! We also loved and will miss their EDD dogs Maliki and the other cuties that we saw and got to say hi to everyday & night!
Highly recommend
Great hotel with amazing service
Nice room
Everything seems alright. However, I don't understand about the expense of 35$ a day. What is it for?
Excellent location
I have been visiting this hotel for over 15 years. As always, the staff were terrific, kind and helpful. The location - across the street from the UN - is perfect. The views of the city skyline and the East River are, as ever, spectacular. Unfortunately, we had to ask a lot of the staff: the safe in the room was broken, one of the lamps was broken and the coffee brewer for all coffee drinks was broken downstairs in the Cafe. The restaurant has been the same for over a decade and felt kind of sad.
Great
Beautiful views!
Great
Good location. Clean & comfortable. Breakfast option included with room rate is good value.
Location
Hotel is nice and clean. The only unpleasant part is the front desk people which don’t know nothing about the hospitality business.
