We stayed at the Sea Breeze luxury collection - and the view of the sea from our room was like being in a fairytale! The beach was magical and that was our #1 reason for the trip. We really loved and appreciated the staff from Check in - to the restaurants - to the Cleaning crew and the beach activities. We met quite a few recurring visitors which is a big clue as to what a zen resort this is. Only 3 choices of restaurants for dinner - but the menu changes. We’d love to go back.
Stunning resort for family and couples!
My stay was very good and would stay there again
property was generally clean/well kept, however the food left something to be desired. in particular, going to the non-buffet restaurants required booking 2 days in advance. One night we had scheduled to go to the 'fancy' restaurant, but due to extenuating circumstances we could not attend our 830 reservation. We asked if we could switch to another time, we were refused. kind of funny given the restaurant tables were half seated at most every night. the food in the 'mohegan' buffet was hit and miss, some of it good, some of it edible, some of it disgusting. all in all im not unhappy with my stay, but if you are a foody I'd keep looking elsewhere.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful beach. 2 room suite on 5th floor was wonderful.
We really enjoyed our stay and location on the beach! Only complaints are hit or miss hot water in shower and food options are repetitious.
Not quite the luxury experience we were expecting however we eventually had a great holiday once we accepted the food and organisation were not going to be up to our standards (given the price we paid). We travelled mid January -the hotel was reasonably busy but not greatly so. The catering staff are not independent thinkers. We believe they get many products pre-prepared and struggle to make adjustments to cater for diet. Despite letting the managers know about the dietary requirements when booking restaurants - the chef/servers frequently complained (to us) that they were not informed and therefore they could do nothing. One restaurant - the Mahogany did have a great chef/staff in for breakfast and lunch so the hotel redeemed itself here and we were very happy with the efforts they put in. However it took 2 days to reach that point. The positives - rum sours - phew! the sea front room was just gorgeous. The lap pool was usually empty and we mostly got a beach/pool bed when we wanted one, but you had to be early. Despite the signs around the property, the adults area was prone to reservations in the german style with towels and clips. The kids pool was actually really nice too. We walked into Oistins and took the local mini-buse to the broadwalk and then walked into Bridgetown. The area outside the hotel has plenty of bars and restaurents, street food and public beaches. The sea was rough due to wind, common for January we were unable to swim there due to red flags.
The room was exactly as shown in the pictures. Definitely worth upgrading to the luxury collection.
Some of the staff were fabulous. The others treat you like you were are not important. They need to weed out the rude staffs. Seems as though they are only nice when you tip them, but you are already paying a lot of money for the service. The hotel was beautiful… food was okay, but not tasty. …. I’ll visit again… but won’t be my first choice.
The property is at a good location. The food selection for an all inclusive resort is average compared to other Caribbean resorts. Sraff is friendly.
Amazing property and amazing staff
Beautiful property, beautiful spot on the beach. The food was good and there was always food available somewhere if we slept in and missed breakfast or missed the lunch hour at the main restaurant. Very comfortable and beautiful room in the luxury suite collection; would definitely go back. Very helpful staff
The room was very nice and the beach and water were beautiful. I found some of the staff to be slow and unfriendly.
We ( family of 4) only stayed 2 nights after 5 days of exploring the island so our time was really for some R&R/beach time so unfortunately we didn't explore beyond the complex but Oistins is so so close, and I heard the fish fry is a great time. If you like quiet, a great beach and more boutique style hotel with everything centrally located this is great stay. Staff were very pleasant and kind! Their independence day celebration was wonderful! Beach is beautiful and the 3 pools were warm and not overly crowded - my complaint goes out to rude entitled guests - please show a little bit more couth.
The Sea Breeze was absolutely amazing. The staff was courteous on and off the resort. Seen a few workers outside of the resort and they spotted us and made sure we was ok while we were on the island. More resorts should do this. Special thanks to Junior, Jerome, Rohan, Joanna, Prince Corey and Danielle. You guys were Amazing !!!
My Guest had only good things to say about the hotel and the amenities. But couple of bad moments worth mentioning. Most of the staff was very kind, warm and professional. Concierge service at Check in and at the restaurant definitely needs retraining…. Late check in at 4pm having arrived 1230pm and Totally unacceptable to be waiting 90 mins for dinner with a very unwelcoming condescending tone from the seating attendant. Couple of employees can really tarnish the reputation of a lovely resort and future Business
Really beautiful place. The food needs to be improved based on the variety, quantity amd quality. Hated having to reserve a restaurant for dinner each night. Crazy! The pools and beach areas were great.
Overall good hotel. Intimate property with good hospitality and good food.
I love the architecture and decor. The staff were also friendly especially those at the Mahogony restaurant.
If you have the opportunity to go to Barbados please stay here! Upon arrival I was a tad skeptical because of the surrounding area …within minutes we were greeted by the most gracious staff and they continued to welcome us all week! I cannot say enough about the good people of Barbados! The property was exactly what we wanted…everything was easily accessible and the food…the food was amazing! We had a blast! We made so many new friends! When you arrive in Barbados I recommend an island tour…ask for Tyrone…don’t wait for the day before you leave like we did…you will not be disappointed. Find Deniko and give him a hug for me!
The stay was fantastic. Beautiful people. Amazing food. My only complaint would be the one day i wanted to use or go sailing they didn’t have enough beachstaff to have the small catamaran operational.
Nil
Rooms are very nice but be careful on what price you pay. We stayed for £600 per night all inclusive and this should have been £200-250 per night. Food choice and quality is poor, limited variety at breakfast with queues always at the egg station. This is a 3 star resort at best so be mindful of this.
Just spent 5 nights at Seabreeze Luxury for a getaway with my spouse. Overall a very pleasant stay. Property is well maintained. Rooms are right on the beach and really spacious. Food was great, but repetitive (menu barely changes). Main issue would have to be the staff. Not sure if it’s a ‘Barbados thing’, but we have been to many islands and the people at this resort just weren’t friendly in general. Service was slow and unresponsive at times. A couple times we felt like the people who were taking our orders were upset with us. You know that feeling… There were a couple bright spots and I wish I was better with names, but the younger gentleman and woman who greeted us at dinner a few nights, and seemed to manage things to a degree, were super friendly and welcoming. Like I said, we have been to many islands and yes the beaches and hotels may be a little different on each one, but it’s really the people who bring you back to a specific resort.
Staff were friendly and helpful and we had a good room with view of beach (some of the rooms are not as nice). The food was disappointing in quality considering the cost. The common areas are smaller and rather less luxurious than appears in the pictures. The property has limited land round it and is quite close to more rustic areas.
The property was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant. The downside of this resort is there is limited to no entertainment. You must go into town if you want entertainment. If you are looking for a lively crowd/pool bar/music/etc then this isn’t the place for you. If you want absolute quiet then this is what you want.
Beautiful Maxwell Beach Resort
This is a fantastic new resort with just a few areas for improvement. First, the positive! Upon arrival we were met with very friendly staff who offered a delicious rum punch. The resort itself wraps along a beautiful white sand beach with calm turquoise waters. Views from every angle were stunning. There are multiple beach areas with chairs set out, as well as a pool area. Our room was very large with a huge seating area and king size bed, all directly overlooking the ocean with private balcony. The TV had many options and conveniently laid out multiple events for the upcoming week - including classes, yoga, wine tasting, mixers, etc. outside the staff set up a special BBQ with lights and music for the evening - this was fun and got us in the mood! Dinner at the fine dining restaurant was inventive and delicious. Now, for the areas for improvement. While dinner was delicious, some of the other restaurants had merely ok food offerings. The wine list was extremely limited and amounted to a standard “Chardonnay” or “sparkling”. There were also a few service hickups: our luggage took over an hour to arrive at our room; the host at the fine dining restaurant somewhat rudely told us to eat in the other restaurant, when we did in fact have a reservation (fixed by concierge - and we received friendly service thereafter); finally the taxi to the airport we had pre ordered and which was confirmed by concierge did not arrive on time; turns out they didn’t confi
We were looking forward to our stay at this property and while we did make the best of it for the week we stayed, it fell massively short of our expectations. Our bathroom shower had a leak the whole week, our snacks were never replenished even though we asked, the food was edible but not good. Some staff were friendly but the overall resort vibe wasn’t as friendly as we expected. We booked a king room and got 2 doubles instead and it wasn’t mentioned to us until we got into the room and saw it ourselves, at which point, we inquired and were told that it wasn’t ready but if one becomes available the next day, they would let us know. We stayed for 7 days and no one ever contacted us about this at all. Our rooms were cleaned to the bare minimum requirement. We had crackers that spilled on the bench at the end of the bed on the second day and those cracker crumbs remained on the bench until we checked out. Also note for others, you have to reserve a restaurant for dinner and this means you can only eat at one place. Which would be normally fine but there isn’t a great variety of food so we went to bed hungry many nights because we got tired of eating the same things every night. There’s no late night snack options available which doesn’t bode well for consuming alcohol. Overall, the resort was not worth the money we paid and I would not recommend it to others.
I loved this hotel, the rooms are modern and beautiful. Very clean
Resort was clean, room was beautiful with amazing view. Many food options. Will definitely visit again!
Several things to mention, personnel are very friendly, and all the time are pending of attending any need from your side, this is a place to rest and have very good moment with family in the beach or pool. The food on the restaurants is also something will make the different in your travel, is very good and with good variety every day in the three restaurants they´ve. The facilities are also all the time very clean, and the personnel is always working on keep it in this way. In summary me and my family had a wonderful experience in this hotel.
We were disappinted with our stay, we did not find value for the nightly rate. We reserved a luxury room with a kong bed and a queen sofa bed, when we were brought to our room, we were advised because 'we booked late' and our room type was not available. No king bed, no sofa-it was a standard room. We paid for a room that was not available, so we were downgraded with no compensation. We ate at the fine dining restaurant on our first evening that was pre-booked, there were only 4 options on the menu and quality of food was not great. Last but not least, the coffee maker in our room was broken.
Staff was friendly, rooms were beautiful and clean. Food was good just lacked variety for breakfast, they also cut off having food to early for an all inclusive and lastly more hotel activities should be organized, for guess who plan to stay onnthe compound.
Our suite was great! Clean and beautiful rooms with a gorgeous view. Staff went above and beyond and everyone was so friendly! Would def recommend staying here! Hope to return again!
Overall the staff were great from everyone at reception, guest services and in all of the bars and restaurants, they were all very friendly and went out of their way to help. One night we pulled out the sofa bed in our room And it still had the previous guests bed sheets on it and a chunk of hair on the floor, the large mat in the room was also Soaking wet when we arrived. Unfortunately for us, there was a sea weed issue on the beach, meaning the water wasn’t as clear as usual and it was quite smelly. Other hotels on the same strip didn’t seem to have the same issue, or they got their staff to clean it up at midnight ready for the guests to use a pristine clean beach the next day. The hotel did put off complimentary shuttle buses to a lovely beach about 20 minutes a day, however this was only for 2-3 days during our 7 day stay. We chose the hotel due to the number of restaurants offered on site due to having dietary restrictions (gluten free) and whilst they could accommodate this, at least one of their restaurants was closed each night we stayed there, minimising our options available, sometimes the only gluten free dessert option was ice cream, which was less than ideal after a couple of nights, however, the plating of the food in the restaurants was great, and the food overall was delicious! Overall we had a nice stay however we paid a lot for the holiday and don’t feel we got the value we expected associated with the price
Everything on everybody was beautiful..... worker willing to help you in every way ... It's hard to explain you ofto experience it for yourself.... They're peaceful and relaxing....
We had an absolutely amazing time at Sea Breeze Beach House! The accomodations were incredible, but the Staff truly made our experience a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back!
Superb property and service
Worth every penny for luxurious environment but lacked local traditional cuisines
Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and drinks. Wonderful place for a vacation. Will certainly recommend.
Sea Breeze stay.
Nice place!! Most guests are from the UK. When I booked, I didn’t know it was all inclusive. We usually don’t stay at all inc places as the food usually sucks. Not here though!! The Cerulean rest was fabulous. My wife is Vegan and they accommodated her nicely. I def recommend this hotel. Great lounge entertainment as well
We love the "all inclusive " concept.
Perfect!
Attentiveness of all the staff. Variety of dining options. Dislike was availability of beach chairs which were broken and not functional.
No value for money
Not a four star place. No value for money. Food was below average and always tasted stale. Same menu and food in all the restaurants. Did not clean the rooms everyday and when asked they tried to charge for it. Was able to get it cleaned once. We were traveling with baby and poop diapers, along with sand from beach made the place really smelly. How can a 4 star place not provide a daily cleaning. No taxi service to and from airport as “it was not the part of the package”. We were not provided the room we booked and did not get any response when we asked. Room service came before our intended time of checkout and woke up the baby. Overall not a luxury experience. Stay away from the place.
We enjoyed the property and overall were very pleased.? Where we think there is an opportunity to improve would be centered around the food and drinks.
Loved everything about this place, very well managed. Good business processes. Food was excellent. The resort is compact in a great way. All amenities are quick to get to. The entertainment was top notch. If I had to offer a suggestion for improvement it would be to bar services. They ran out of lemons and limes and had no mint. An improvement to just top this place over the edge would be to have a selection of fresh fruit for blender drinks and ensure limes and mint were plentiful.
I liked that it was nice and quiet, very relaxing. It could have advertised things to do around the area
Wonderful and relaxing stay
Amazing hotel, with wonderful staff and great facilities. All the staff are so professional, friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. I was in an ocean front room which was really large, clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was really comfortable as well. The food is really good, although it would be nice to have some more bajan cuisine, as most of it was catered to european/british tastes. However, the resturants are great and offer a lot of variety. The beach is wonderful. Pure white sand and clear blue water. The beach is clean and quite large for the hotel area, so it didnt feel crowded. Very relaxing place and I was sad to leave.
