The restaurant and breakfast area is way too cold and drafty.
Staff was excellent
Front desk staff and concierge is amazingly nice.
Terrible lighting in bedrooms. Beautiful lobby.
Nice stay for a family, I found very interesting the lounge option which can allow you to chill out after a long walk in London. The room was quiet, the bathroom well renovated. Only drawback the windows that are old and allow cold and humidity to enter. We were freezing during the night.
Room toilets were not clean.
Great hotel made even better with front desk staff. In particular Mia who was absolutely amazingly friendly and helpful during our family stay. Also breakfast staff was incredible in particular Leon who took care of our requests and food needs, diet restrictions. Great stay overall. But again, thank you Mia and Leon!
Disappointing
Disappointed with the room. Very average for the price.
Very central and in a very good area. Lovely staff but the hotel is dated. Overall was a good stay.
Highly recommend this Marriot. Nicely located for easy access to tge area. Staff was extremely helpful and pleasant!
Front Desk was very helpful as was the rest of the staff. Particular shout out to Elektra. We had a room to sleep five and it worked well. Breakfast was decent and location was good.
The hotel was great as was the location. The restaurant staff was terrible They closed an hour early from posted hours so we had to go elsewhere and spent the money there They also said there was a q code on tv but we could not find it
Super nice
Was perfect
Clean modem rooms, functional a/c, but limited on storage so live out of a suitcase if longer than a couple days stay.
Walkable
A perfectly nice hotel and the staff were friendly but they didn’t set up a room for 2 guests and our request for robes, towels, water etc. for 2 was ignored. They tried to get us to pay for breakfast when it was included for exec rooms and the exec lounge was limited to times and the coffee machine was broken. Quite a walk from the tube though the noise of tube trains below is obvious on lower floors (we were on 2). Disappointing considering the cost.
The hotel itself wasn't bad, but if you're looking for a good breakfast to have at the hotel I'll give it 1 star, very limited and not the greatest.
Large room with comfy bed and pillows and nicely updated. Works well for longer stays. Great neighborhood and easy access to the tube.
Good location, nice hotel, very helpful staff.
Old and dirty
We were “ upgraded” to a room on the 1 st floor because of king size bed. The room was very old, draw was missing on cupboard, bathroom very small and it was not cleaned properly. There were hairs on bathroom floor. We were at the end of the passage and there was a fishy smell in the passage leading to the bedroom. The breakfast had unhygienic atmosphere- the fruit was old, the omelette was average and the self service coffee machine kept overflowing and not attended to in time. The tables were not cleaned on time and we ended up eating the bread and cheese which felt safer. The experience was very disappointing for the price we paid and we will not be returning to this hotel.
Good location for our needs
Best stay at the Marriott Kensington, London
The Marriott in Kensington has the best location. It is very close to the Earl’s Court train station. The hotel has a great breakfast and the staff is incredibly helpful. Ash was amazing. He planned our whole itinerary while staying in London. I will definitely go back to that Marriott!!!
The staff were amazing and the hotel was quiet and enjoyable. Very close to the Tube, so easy to navigate around town
Amazing stay
Amazing location, great for families.
Quiet, clean, near the Underground for easy access to all of London.
Great hotel.
Boutique style feel with friendly staff
The staff was so friendly and helpful. This was our first trip to London. We will definitely stay there again!
stayed at London Marriott Hotel Kensington for 6 days from 2/29/24-3/7/24. Hotel is in a great location. There’s a grocery store right across the street (Sainsbury), a laundromat right next to the grocery store, and countless places to eat and shop within walking distance. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and extremely accommodating - every time I stepped off the elevator the front desk staff had a warm smile and a hello. Concierge was awesome! That said, the one negative I can speak of is the long time it took to get food while eating in the hotel restaurant when we first arrived (and the nachos were literally a bowl of chips with a tiny bit of cheese). They did attempt to make up for the slow service by offering a complimentary glass of wine. Overall, me and my daughters had a great stay at this hotel and would most definitely stay again.
Location was great. Staff were not very friendly and seemed cold.
Location great for underground and easy walking to museums and parks. Quieter area and limited parking available. Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very enjoyable 😊
Lovely comfortable room and beds. Good breakfast and very helpful staff
A special alternative in London!
An excellent stay! The team was kind and pro active (everyone), specially Samantha, Kay, May and the manager. We stayed there for 9 nights and we felt as home. I highly recommend this hotel!
Great location
Booked my son and his wife with my 3 granddaughters in when they visited London to see Frozen in the West End. They raved about the hotel and the suite I booked. Well done Marriott 👏
Nice option for London stay
This hotel is in a great location with rooms that are larger thank many other options in London. Beds are comfortable and great water pressure in the shower! Appreciate tge room service option too.
Ash @ CONCEIRGE absolutely made our trip - made all our arrangements over the phone while we were in Canada - and had everything f waiting for us on arrival - thanks Ash
Located in Kensington a very liveable and fancy area. Near from bus and metro stations. The room is modern and clean although a little small for two people. O strongly recommend this hotel.
Amazing hotel
Hotel is decent... No late night bar. Staff a little slow!
What I didn't like is I paid extra for the room (high floor) but didn't get what I expect and instead assigned me to the 2nd floor which is the lowest floor. I asked the front desk, and he explained that all floors after the ground floor are considered high floor. So, what is the point of paying extra? Although, in fairness the hotel is clean and safe. Thank you.
Clean and close to the tube
Expected a better room for the rate. I had to ask for slippers and bathroom accessories were very poor. The carpet needs to be changed
We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful and kind. The staff at the door especially Kadi were wonderful. Our room was fine. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
Nice place but not great places to eat close by Staff were terrific, and proximity to airport good
Accessible to many attractions. Hotel was peaceful and quiet allowing me needed rest. Room was attractively furnished and the bed was comfortable
.
I likes so much
good hotel, good location. rooms are small like most London hotels. executive lounge is very pleasant, good breakfasts and evening appies, ( you can actually have dinner there:))) very nice touch is that beer and wine is avalaible from 5.30-9.30, many guests very happy about that. Breakfast items like scrambled eggs and sausages tend to run out roughly twenty minutes before closing, and surprisingly, they don't replenish. Other than that and the room cost, very good.
This is my 7th time a the Kensington Marriott and I was not disappointed. The post pandemic property is good and I will be back to London and I will stay at the Marriott!
Welcoming staff on reception. The hotel was letdown by the bar services in the evening. Long wait for service and poor selection of gin.
Thanks

This is one of the few hotels with 2 queen beds which was perfect for our family of 4. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice of view. The underground was about 12 min walk which was reasonable. I wished the hotel would have had a water bottle filler or water in the lobby available. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent, friendly staff.
Location was close to train and bus lines, room was spacious for a family of 5, and breakfast and evening snacks were included. We loved it and highly recommend!
Spacious and comfortable
Our family is spending six months in Europe and this hotel was the first American style comfort we've had. We chose it because of the location (easy access to Gloucester and Earls Court stations), and an affinity for Marriott. The price was the top of our budget for this three night stay, but we've had some bad experiences in big city hotels and thought paying a little more might help. I was nervous when I saw some poor reviews online, but I think those are based on expecting a Four Seasons or JW Marriott level of service. I wanted clean, quiet, odorless, and comfortable - this hotel was all that and, as a bonus, was spacious. Our few interactions with the staff were easy and straightforward- we had one charge removed from the bill, got a bandaid, room was cleaned every day, and we had some tasty breakfasts. The heater is loud, but we mostly kept it off as the hotel was quite warm on its own. My only real negative was that there was no refrigerator, only a cooler that looks like a refrigerator.
Staff was great, rooms nice, breakfast was great! Water was out for 2 straight days. Then air conditioning broke for 2 days.
Great London hotel
Lovely hotel. Good location First rate staff Good food Very good room Better than expected
Excellent
Modern property with well designed comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Numerous bars and restaurants in area and hotel is short elk from the tube. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Beautiful new hotel 5 minutes walk from Kensington High Street and all the shops and restaurants.
Junior suite fit our family of 5 perfectly. We were very happy with the space and comfort. Great hotel, convenient to everything. And a nice breakfast too!
Excellent Customer Service
The staff was really great. Friendly and helpful. From the front desk through to housekeeping. Always looking to be of assistance and always quick to respond. Highly recommend the Executive Room option.
Great location! More detail needed with housekeeping as 3 adults in suite and water, toiletries, towels were always replenished for two.
This property is on a very busy, noisy street. We got assigned a ground level room and our request for a change (because of noise) got denied. Room cleaning crew did not refill toilet paper on one out of 3 days.
Excellent staff and clean property
The property was well kept, very clean. The staff was very professional and friendly.
1. Quiet area. Good location. Walking distances to Nature history Museum, Science Museum and V&A. Very close to two tube stations. 2. Nice staff. 3. Good breakfast.
It’s centrally located, near public transport. The staff was nice and pleasant.
Lovely staff. Great location. Room a bit small but had everything.
Good access to Tube, locale average, limited dining outside hotel. Not an upmarket area but the hotel is very good. Staff helpful and pleasant.
Great location, reasonably large room, good for families with kids.
This is a nice hotel and very convenient to the Earl's Court tube. Kensington High Street is within walking distance. The hotel itself is a little older but the rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a room facing the street and it was extremely quiet. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. It's not right in the nicest part of Kensington but the area felt safe and it's close enough to get pretty much anywhere.
Lovely hotel, beautifully furnished. We were in a family room for 4, and it was generously sized and comfortable.
Excellent location, and excellent staff. Our room was modern, very comfortable, and roomy. Perfect space to spend for a family of 4. Both the front desk and concierge were very helpful!
We arrived A day late because of flight and then did not have a room. We booked through Expedia , won’t do that again, as they can’t transfer funds . The lovely girl at the desk advocated for us with the manager to get our family a room. I am thankful for her . She made our stay great just by caring. I will continue to give Marriott my business because of this girl. Hire more like her . She worked that day with a young man Sven that was not sure what to do with my tears , she stepped in and took care of us. I did not get her name .
Good sized room with basic amenities for families. AC not working as good as we would like but luckily it was cool weather outside. Breakfast was a good surprise and good eats. Certain staff are great while others are marginal with their info and help. Overall decent stay for the price.
The property was located in a nice neighborhood that was conveniently located near the tube and dining options. Our room was clean and very spacious.
We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay very much!! We loved the restaurant and bar area. Everyone was very friendly.
Beautiful hotel. Great family rooms and very modern. Exceptional service accommodating early checkins and late checkouts.
The hotel team were delightful and couldn´t be more helpful. And there was a real sense of team work that made it a pleasure to stay there. Thanks for taking great care of us!
Room for improvement in room 604
Carpet in the room was rather grubby, the enamel in the bath chipped in places, the shower hose had a circular washer hanging off exposing pipes and then coffee cups in the room were take away cups.
Friendly helpful staff
Nice hotel close to two tube stations as well as a McDonalds, which is useful for cheap breakfasts. The hotel is also directly opposite a Sainsburys which is really convenient.
Location okay, near tube station. Lack of recycling on rooms as I find in most London hotels. Staff very friendly and helpful. Expensive for what you get.
I wasn’t giving the room I order every, I was giving snack as of a compensation
Concierge was amazing and helpful. The location is great for walking. The rooms were clean and well made up everyday by their lovely cleaning staff. Great staff in their restaurant and front desk. The room was a good size and felt safe.
Property was in a great location close to underground stations. Was also within walking distance of Kensington Palace and Kensington Gardens. Hotel was very quiet—I don’t think we heard another occupant the entire stay. The junior suite comfortably slept my family of 5. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again next time we are in London.
It was a nice stay! Perfect for our family with a very fiendly staff.
Pricey but lovely
Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable, good facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. A little on the pricey side but then you get what you pay for.
Stayed for one night. Check in was fine and hotel looked nice and new. Room looked okay but found that bin in bathroom hadnt been emptied and was full to the top. Soap on side in bathroom has been used. Carpet looked quite dirty and made me feel uncomfortable at what else hadnt been cleaned. Bed was rock hard and pillows awful. Have sat with a heat wrap on since i got home as caused me pain in my neck from sleeping on them. Hotel was very noisy on our floor and banging from room above and the window sound proofing is poor as could hear sirens and delivery trucks. Cleaner banged on door at 9am wanting to know when we were checking out so she could clean the room even though check out is 12. Felt like we were being rushed. Breakfast was okay. Continental was good but the english breakfast was luke warm at best and the fried eggs stone cold. Overall for the money it wasnt worth it and spoilt the weekend really. To be honest i think a premier inn would generally have been better and definitely much cheaper. Glad we only stayed the one night.
Very comfortable and convenient
Wonderful location, so convenient to Underground. Room very attractive and comfortable. Staff was very attentive. I would definitely stay here again
Very enjoyable stay with the staff being very much on the ball room was so comfortable and shower was powerful which is normally one of my issues with hotel rooms 😃
Excellent staff, very clean and very well located
Such friendly staff - the bubbly receptionist, the guy in the executive lounge and the youngish female chef serving breakfast. Beautifully refurbished - highest quality designer furniture and immaculate interior design - faultless. Great location just mins from Natural History Museum etc. Tiny niggles - no liners in bins, 2 paper cups for tea/coffee, cold mushrooms, kitchen couldn’t find butter or brown sauce (Sainsburys over the road?) Would have no hesitation in returning.
The staff was so amazing
Nice room and ammenities
