The resort is beautiful and the staff is really friendly. They have events each day and evening, but it can get confusing what is happening when. The signs were wrong and we were told to go to wrong place by a few people, so I would recommend going to reception and asking vs asking staff members on the grounds. I don’t think everyone knows what all is going on event wise. I did have an issue with being overcharged for shirts in the gift shop. They have a sign on the wall saying 1 for $18 and then 3 for whatever. I converted money so paid in pesos and wasn’t given receipt. When I checked the conversion I saw I was charged $74 for 2 shirts. When I went back to return the girl refused return, started throwing the tag on the shirt in my face ver aggressively, when I pointed to the sign she said it’s not for these shirts, which is right under it, I asked to speak to a manager she said she is the manager, I said for the whole hotel? She just looked at me. So I said I was going up to reception to talk to the hotel manager and picked up the bag. She then ripped it out of my hands, threw it down, and yelled at me. I’m fairly certain she was scamming. I did get my refund, but it was unpleasant. I did go speak to guest services and they did advise it is a third party but they went down immediately to address. So beware of the gift shop. Other than that, this place is beautiful and relaxing. I don’t think you would regret going here.

All adult all inclusive was perfect for what we wanted.

Staff were very welcoming and inviting. The place was one of the best I have stayed at if you a looking for more boutique semi quiet adult atmosphere.

Great property and our butler Ronaldo was amazing! So many different activities throughout the day! Excursions were amazing! The food was amazing, it has so many restaurants to choose from! The cleaning service was awesome! Entire staff was friendly and provided excellent service!

Live Aqua is a gorgeous property. The number of pools and access to a quiet beach were amazing. The staff is kind, friendly, accommodating, and professional. (Especially Adrian and Cristal, the bartenders in the lobby, and Darlin, the cocktail server.) Overall, the food is good but not great. However, each restaurant serves some outstanding dishes. It took a little trial and error, but we soon learned the go-to options. Look for the local, fresh dishes. Our favorite restaurants were Miraflores (Latin, fresh seafood) and Huzur (Mediterranean), both of which are located near the main pool and beach. Each has outside seating, so you can soak in the sea breeze and beach views. (Lunch only for both.) Liberi, the breakfast spot, was outstanding. It offers a huge variety of options that cater to folks from all over the world. Fresh omelets and local foods were my faves. Areas for Improvement: 1) Do not put guests in "garden view" rooms that face a construction site. I get it; it stinks for this hotel when a new hotel is going up right next door. We asked to change rooms and were accommodated. The right thing to do would be (a) not use those rooms until construction is done or (b) be upfront about the situation and offer a steep discount. 2) Offer more chairs with shade for the beach and main pool. There's plenty of space to build more palapas for the beach and in-ground umbrellas for the pool. Folks felt rushed to "claim" their spots early in the morning or be left out.

Quiet and relaxing, good food options.

My friends and I had an amazing time here the staff was absolutely amazing. The welcome at Live aqua was absolutely refreshing. Upon your arrival you are seated in the aqua lounge where you are served any beverage of your choice, then you are greeted by the spa team, which gives you a very relaxing hand massage. The Buttler service is on point. Butler service comes with the swim up rooms. We had two butlers Ishmael and Pedro. They were amazing. The bar in the aqua lounge serves top shelf liquor. The bartenders are absolutely observant, and will remember your orders. There are several bartenders all amazing but the one that served us the most was Rouse she was absolutely a gem. I would definitely recommend Live aqua.

Live Aqua is beautiful! The staff is amazing ! EVERYONE was so friendly.the welcome team was so helpful and check in was so smooth. The housekeeping staff kept my room clean and kept it stocked with water and snacks. The maintenance crew helped me unlock my safe after we forgot the code 😅 the bartenders , waiters, pool and beach team were amazing. The hairdresser braided my hair so beautifully. The tour crew set us up with a triple adventure which was a blast. The entertainment team from DJ to set up crew were so energetic and I always ended up on the dance floor . The little activities that were scheduled daily were so much fun. I loved everything about this place. I give it 5 stars 10/10 to everything. I will definitely be going back.

The entertainment staff, Jesus, Gilver, Luis, Mirielli, and Priscila, were absolutely incredible! They love their jobs and love for free! Just great and so attentive! I would really suggest they open the main buffet foe dinner as the breakfast and lunch in there was superb!!

There were select butlers and attendants that went above and beyond and some did not. The food was better than expected, but the seafood restaurant by the beach was the worst experience I’ve had..ever.

Great option

Would recommend the property in regards to a wide variety of issues that could arise, they are handled in a proper matter. They will make sure to make any and all things right before you leave. We are happy with results of staying here.

Amazing staff and gorgeous property. Spectacular beach. Came to celebrate my honeymoon and felt pampered. Got the Swim-Up garden view with the Butler. Aqua club has all the top shelf liquor and private check in entrance.

It was OK, didn't really impress us.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. The only complain was the food. They need to work on their menu. My favorite restaurant was the ceviche one but was only open from 12-5.

The staff is extremely friendly as well as accommodating and efficient. They let us know every option we had and didn’t know we had. Also gave us updates on the day to day activities. I definitely recommend this place. Alexis(our butler) communicated with us everyday and yahaira was an excellent concierge as we walked into the resort taking us to our vip checkin. This is a wonderful place to stay especially the entertainment staff.

My husband and I stayed at this Resort for his mother's 60th birthday this resort is so beautiful and very clean, every employee that you come in contact with is so friendly. You are truly treated like royalty. my husband had a server name Sarah and Vanessa they were amazing.

The property and staff were amazing . Jose, junior on the butler staff. Lucia at VIP. Red from entertainment. Angelo at the VIP beach bar . All in all a phenomenal experience . Beach was beautiful . Pool and beach was not overpacked, always seemed to be able to find a chair . Food was excellent.

I would highly recommend staying at this resort. My husband and I were there for seven days and we had no complaints at all. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The resort itself was peaceful and very clean. As for the food, there are tons of delicious options. 10/10 recommend!

It’s my first time going to an all inclusive hotel as an adult. The experience while on property was great. The staff were very tentative, they never said no to me which is something I am not accustomed to. The resort is so well maintained that it appeared as if only a hand full of people were sharing the same areas. The bed sheets were a bit uncomfortable, I wouldn’t say it felt dirty but, it felt damp. It could be that I’m used to cotton and the bed sheets there are linen or some other fabric. I slept fully clothed my stay. The location is a bit inconvenient, because it is quite a drive to where the majority of bars, restaurants, etc are at. It could just be a “me” thing because I like to explore outside of the resort as well.

The staff was fantastic. The drinks were plentiful and convenient. The setting was incredible. The entertainment was exciting. A truly wonderful weekend. Will stay longer next time.

Everything was outstanding... Kudos to Red and Salvador, also our room cleaning lady (unfortunately I don't remember her name) outstanding... Every one was great! Definitely coming back.

The lunch and dinner options were excellent. We also really enjoyed the pool activities that occurred throughout the day. The furniture in the rooms were quite worn and the landscaping was a bit overgrown. All and all, it was a great option.

Our trip was both very short and lovely. Warning for future traveller’s. Double check with the venue (or any) to confirm your view does not include construction. Staff, grounds, bars… all in point!

Imagine having a great vacation and at the end of all have that feeling taken away. 2 people chose to have you escorted off the property with your luggage because the transportation that you booked through the hotel was no longer an accepted transportation service. Mind you the same transportation company was allowed on the property to drop us off however when it was time to be picked up to go home, I was told that it was a mistake that they were allowed on the property in the first place. The driver that we had through the car service mentioned that she was there 3 times the day before. I am struggling to understand the disconnect and how the property felt it was acceptable to tell their guest upon departure that they need to get off their property to be able to access their scheduled ride service. Their idea of "off the property" was the side of the main street while there are other guests arriving and departing witnessing our luggage being placed on the street. It was one of the most hamulating times in my lifetime. The scheduled driver was uneasy to assist us because while waiting for us to resolve the situation she was threatened by the security guard with physical harm to the point where a bystander needed to remind the guard that he was speaking to a lady and was told that the police would be called if she stayed any longer. I wrote to the hotel in their survey about what happened and to their FB account and they never reached out to us to rectify or explain.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. We have been to Hard Rock two years in a row and wanted to try a different one. The size was good. Buffet was excellent. A la cart restaurants were a notch below the buffet. Construction around the property was a small distraction. Jose was our butler and he was great. Overall loved it and would stay there again.

This property is very elegant and just the right size (for us). Not too big and not too small. Staff is great, food is good, beach is beautiful and property is very clean. Would definitely go back.

Great I loved it

Overall, this was my favorite all inclusive property that I’ve stayed at and I’ve been to plenty of all inclusive hotels. The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The lobby is also very nice and has a nice aroma scent. The spa was awesome. The hydro-therapy pool, sauna and showers are very relaxing. The rooms are set up perfectly with plenty of space, large shower, private stall and double sinks. Our room was poolside in the second level so we had a balcony with a bed and whirlpool tub. The tub is also large and comfortable for a relaxing tub in the evening. The pools are very well maintained and have plenty of seating. My only complaint is the pool bar is shaded most of the day but we just took advantage of the waitress service at our chairs along side the pool. The beach is beautiful and has plenty of seating. My only complaint is it was very windy this week so the water was a little rough. If not windy, the beach is very nice. The breakfast buffet is great with plenty of options. For lunch, we didn’t care for the food at the wonderpool but there are some good options at the grill area inside where they have the buffet. For dinner, our favorite restaurants were the French and Italian. The salmon at the French restaurant is delicious and believe it or not the lasagna at the Italian restaurant is delicious and I am Italian. One other point, if you get Expedia credits. Understand the limitations. For example, you can only use $100 for a spa.

Wonderful place where you have no worries other than picking from their restaurant options and the amazing buffet. The only non-issue was that sometimes it was a bit hard to find clean towels, but then the staff would assist in finding you some.

The staff was very accomidating, nice rooms and the pools were great. Beach was pristine and well groomed. A little too much of trinket sales on the beach but not unbearable. Would go again

The property was very nice. Love the smallness of it but it still had alot of dining options and always something to do.

The staff, cleanliness and updated decor makes this resort our #1 favorite. We will be back in June. Yuery in the main lobby and Alexander in the aqua club bar are the best! Josue at the pool also made the vacation memorable!

We arrived with a group. We were over charged. They call the manager a very impolite lady. I don't recommend at all. Unprofessional service.

Amazing resort! We would absolutely return in the future! The food was mostly great. The breakfast buffet leaves a bit to be desired but otherwise it was amazing.

We would return without question to this resort. The staff went out of their way to engage with guests and ask how they could make our experience better. I have been using a cane this year and there were several times that employees on a golf cart offered a ride to the beach which was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. I learned a lot about the local foods and basic spanish phrases from employees who gladly engaged in conversations with us during our stay. The rooms were clean, the pools were wiped by hand every morning, the iced tea we were offered upon arrival, the fresh fruit, lattes, and the mangu and omelette at breakfast were delicious. It was a trip to remember fondly.

The garden walkway was a view to die for. Had a great time!

It is has limited guests and no need to wait in lines or make reservations. All staff are incredibly kind and go above and beyond to make your stay as perfect as possible. This is our second visit and would not hestitate to return in near future.

Butler service was top notch

Quiet, pristine property with a gorgeous beach and pool area. The staff are lovely and so kind. The food was mostly very good with only a handful of misses. The best food was at Chez Rose and the food stations at the buffet. Water was plentiful at all meals and our room.

While we were staying at the resort, the main pool was under construction. No mention of this when we booked, or when we were checking in. Not the biggest deal, but it was a bummer for us. The beach was gorgeous. Lined with tall palm trees and beautiful sand. Plenty of loungers to enjoy, and having a server coming by for drink/food while lounging was great. The restaurants were average at best. Nothing really stood out or wowed us. The drinks were strong and delicious. The grounds are lovely. This has so much potential to be a 5 star resort. Just a few things held it back from being a top tier resort.

This property is beautiful. Gated and when you drive up, large doors open into a modern lobby with infinity pools all over. The welcome crew is amazing. You’re offered drinks, appetizers and a hand massage upon check-in. The property is large for a boutique hotel. You’re taken by golf cart to your room and introduced to your butlers. The butlers are AMAZING! They are there for you anytime to make sure you have everything you need. We stayed for 10 days in a swim up suite. The first five days we unfortunately had a suite facing the construction next door. It was a bit noisy and not great to look at. The worst part was that at times I’d look up and the workers would be looking down at me. We asked if we could have another room and the staff was very apologetic and were able to move us to the other side of the property for the last 5 days of our trip. After that, we had the best time! They have shows or events each night. Don’t miss out on the Michael Jackson experience, that was our favorite! Stop by the Italian restaurant for their Caesar salad… yummm! The hibachi was also amazing. When you’re lounging at the beach, check out the bar in the sand for a tropical drink :) Overall an enjoyable stay… we would definitely like to check out some of their other properties. And if you end up staying here, tell Jahaira we say hello! She’s on the welcome committee and couldn’t be sweeter :)

Room was very nice. Most staff was very nice. However, unlike some in Mexico there were some very unfriendly staff members. Non welcoming, poor service. Example, main lobby bar, hostess at Mediterranean restaurant ( never visited that particular restaurant due to unfriendliness), miserable waiter at French Restaurant. The food was mediocre, not bad, bit definitely unremarkable. Many other guests had similar views,

The service was excellent and the rooms were modern spacious and very clean. The restaurants were good without needing reservations (although at full capacity perhaps more waits than what we had). There is a large construction project happening next door so the outdoor space on the rooms facing that side is pretty much unusable due to noise... It also can be heard inside. The hotel was able to accommodate a switch of rooms for us which was excellent. It would have been nice to know upfront about the situation. The outdoor spaces were great with warm pools and a well cared for beach. We never had problems finding a spot on the beach or the smaller pools which also had ample shady spots for those that wanted. Overall a delightful experience and would recommend for a luxurious quiet relaxing break.

Not a fan of their food or drinks. Its very mediocre. The drinks are either too light, too strong, or too sweet, the daiquiris are not made with fresh fruits. The food is not 5 star quality either. But i think the value is good for its price. So i will recommend for a budget trip.
