Great location
This hotel is in a great location to walk to the Domain. The layout of the hotel room was nice and spacious, however the overall condition of the hotel and grounds was a bit lacking.
would recommend
Just stayed overnight, room service was not required. The check in and check out was super easy and the room was clean
Very nice and clean
The front desk people we really nice and helpful when we asked about the area
Poor room condition
One room could not be locked. The heater was broken. The wifi connection in another room was poor.
The staff is very courteous. The hotel was really clean and affordable. It is centrally located and it’s in a very nice area!
The staff is very friendly, rooms nice and clean.
Check in was quick, very friendly.
Super Friendly Staff
Our room was clean and comfortable and our experience with the staff at check-in was outstanding. The only reason for my less than excellent rating is because I found the breakfast less than outstanding. While I really loved the choice of bacon, I would have appreciated some more bread/pastry items and there were no fruit options. I think my main problem is with the layout of the serving line. Everything is spread out all over the place.
Good location
Super friendly lady at check-in. Made all the difference after such a long travel day
- The elevator I took to my room was 2 years out of date from inspection. - My fire alarm was completely detached from the wall - Fire Alarm went off around 4am - Freezer looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time
All was great
Car Broken Into
The hotel was wonderful. The only problem was that my window was punched out. Five other cars had windows damaged as well, including the car of the security guard.
When checking in, the front desk clerk was nice and informative. However the staff at the front desk when checking out did not greet me; not very welcoming. They made me feel like I was bothering them from whatever they were doing on the computers (the clerk did not even look at me when speaking to me or when I was peaking to her). Also, it looked like something was scratched in the headboard. The wall next to the headboard had paint coming off, the bathroom doors could use some tlc too. The room was overall clean, bed was comfotable but could use some touch ups here and there. One huge downside was the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways specifically around/in the elevator.
Staff wasn’t particularly friendly, and my room didn’t feel clean. I found a gummy bear on the ground, which was strange. TV had some issues connecting to the chromecast. Remote control was a little grimy, but could have just been worn. Bathtub also had some weird white stain near the drain. Fire alarm went off at 2am on my last night on the property. No explanation, other than it was a a false alarm. All in all, not the worst experience, but could’ve been much better. Photos look better than in person.
The toilet wasn’t flushing correctly, and the sink didn’t work, I got a late check in and didn’t have time to have to move rooms, but between the toilet, the sink, not a good experience. The lady when I checked in was awesome.
Very peaceful. Exactly what we wanted.
Good
Best choice and reasonable price.
This was the best choice in Austin, great location, great value and very well managed and clean. It was half the cost and offered twice the quality of stay. Great place and grewat price.
This unfortunately was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was for the most part okay but some members were rude. The property was clean for the most part but there were some nasty areas, such as stains on the mattress and tons of dirt and dust in corners of the room. Our room had multiple broken items (such as the toilet seat and the fridge). The elevator was terrifying and according to the certificate, was 2 years late on an inspection, and hadn’t been serviced since 2022. Our room keys stopped working 3 different times throughout the week for no reason, and we needed to replace them each time. Overall, we had a very very poor experience and I’m sick that we spent as much money as we did for this stay.
Great Stay
Awesome place
The a/c made noise all night. The toilet did not flush in the am. Hot water in shower was amazing. customer service was good.
Truly a 3rd class stay
Though staff was polite, and the stay quiet, the tarnished finishes and worn-out fixtures counterbalance the stay. This hotel is tired, and it shows.
Lost water for a few hours. Lost Internet in the room for almost 24 hours. The responsible maintenance crew did not fix the problem properly the first time.
Friendly staff and our room was really nice. Pet friendly. Clean and dining area smelled amazing.
Friendly staff. Clean and perfect location. I extended my stay and the process was smooth.
Great
Wish there were more breakfast options, room wasn’t getting cold until the last night there. Some towels and bed sheets had stains
You get what you Paid for
The overall Hotel was fine, Got what we expected for the caliber of hotel we booked. The only problems we had was the mattress in the room was worn out and had notable low spot, and the shower in our room leaked water into the bathroom and bedroom. We turned it into the front desk so hopefully they fix it.
Ac was set on lowest setting and still wouldn’t turn on. Can on sporadically and room never cooled. Also, it was 40 degrees outside so I can’t imagine what that room would be like in the Summer! Mold in tub and rust stains on the wall. Cleaner than some places I have stayed but the warm room and highway noise cost me a nights sleep.
Hotel has recurring issues with water supply. Both cold and hot. A couple of neighbors were screaming late at night. The only plus is closeness to the Domain. Everything else is poor.
Great
Water was turned off. Then when water came back on, no hot water
Recommend
Good great location…
It was OK. Have stayed at much nicer properties in the past.
The location is great especially if you’re there for a show at the comedy club. Everything is within a mile or 2
I liked that it was super close to where I needed to go daily. I didn't like the strong perfume / fragrance in the lobby and the room.
Great choice c for another side of Austin .
The room was pleasantly appointed and there was a very upscale mall around the corner. We had a great meal just around the corner. As an added bonus, there was a nice dog park just a few blocks away.
No hot water during the morning hours. Was told everyone might be taking showers and I needed to wait 10 minutes. I waited and it never got hot. We had to take cold showers.
There was no hot water. The problem started in the evening on the second day of my stay and was not resolved the following morning so I had to check out and ask for a refund.
The pool was not open.. my toilet did not work.. no lock on my bathroom. Vending machines take zero cash. No sleep.. very uncomfortable bed and pillows.
Been in this hotel several times, the price and the location are great.
Everything was nice, but the room we had the bed had a dent in it and it gave my partner Charlie horse in his back so bad that he wanted to go to the hospital. It also gave me some back pain. Other than that everything was delightful! I would stay here again just in a different room of course.
There was no hot water during the entirety of my three-day stay. The internet had intermittent outages. Nearly all equipment in the fitness room was broken. The air conditioning didn't cool to temperature.
Room smelled really bad, and there was no hot water. Had to shower in cold water.
Location and staff are great. But I dislike the property at its condition. I got bed bug. My back turned red after the first night forward. I stayed for 3 nights. 2 out of 3 nights there was no hot water
There was no hot water the entire time and it was a known problem and we were never notified
Bueno
Is super easy
Beautiful structure, and awesome customer service
Domain is a great location
The room was very nice, clean, comfortable, unique. The breakfast was not good, unorganized, trash not picked up, no juice, no napkins, empty containers until someone complained. The staff seemed inconvenienced with any needs. But, the room was nice and very affordable.
Kudos to the check in lady (Toby??). She was extremely helpful and organized. Lack of ice machines. 1 in entire property. Room clean and nice. Breakfast was ok. All in all, a pleasant experience.
Clean & convenient
The hotel is definitely old and in need of updates - specially the furnishings. However, it was clean, and the check-in/out process was pretty smooth. If you're looking for something basic and don't mind the outdated feel, it's a good option.
Domain So So
Older property in the Domain.
great
Everything was nice. The customer service was good. The beds were comfortable Hotel was clean. The lobby was inviting. We didn’t try the breakfast because it didn’t start till seven on the weekend. The rooms were really close to each other. You can hear at the door when somebody was coming and going, but other than that, that was fine.
If you enjoy comfort, don't stay here!
My stay was terrible. I was skeptical about staying at a La Quinta Inn, and I should have trusted my instinct. When I checked in, the employee at the desk had a very stale disposition. I was given no instruction amenities. I put a card on file for incidentals, but that was obsolete. I attempted to charge a bottled water to my room but was told it had to be paid for separately. Apparently, the card I put on file was to be charged only if there are damages to the room. I got to my room and opened the door to a furnace. It was so extremely hot in the room, but the heat was only set on 74 degrees. It was 44 degrees outside, but I had to switch it to the A/C to get the room to cool off to a comfortable temperature. The picture on the tv was also distorted. I called and asked to change rooms. My request was accommodated, but I had to lug all of my personal items downstairs instead of an associate bringing me a key. I got to the second room, and the temperature was so cold; I tried the thermostat on the wall and the one on the unit. I called to change rooms again and asked for the key to be brought to me. After almost 10 minutes, the heat came on just as the employee was approaching my room. I opted to stay in the same room. The bed was hard, the pillows were cheap, and I slept horribly. Never again.
We were very comfortable.
The location was very good and customer service was great
Very clean, pet friendly, well lite parking area
Great location
Well the breakfast was horrible I stay a different hotels and this breakfast was won of the worst ones. They really need to improve
.
Big rooms
Nice location but old style bathroom doors
Elevator was working a lil funny. Other than that stay was nice
The staff we encountered at check-in were not personable at all. When we asked questions, they made it clear we were wasting their time. Breakfast staff also did a poor job at replenishing and maintaining cleanliness of the breakfast stations. Aside from those areas, this is a great property to stay. Beds and rooms are clean and comfortable. Great location. Plenty of convenient parking.
It’s decent but some areas lack of hygiene and I think they have a roach infestation.
Great location , free breakfast , room was clean.
Close to the domain. Nice area. Quiet. Ideal for a short stay
One night there was a loud confrontation outside the building between the security and a homeless person. Aside from that it was quiet.
The breakfast is delicious
.
The room was r updated looks old and difty, the foucet was close and hard to open the room small and the beds small tv no Netflix BUT MOST OF SLL TBE STAFF IS NOT FRIENDLY IAT THE FRONT DESK
Location is awesome. The Wifi internet is pretty bad.
Clean
Breakfast was fresh and tasty
Next time I will ask for a room away from Mopac. Too noisy. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.
Our family rented 3 rooms and each room had seperate issues with cleanliness. Rm 108 had a few bath towels with stains on them. Rm 109 had some soiled comforter stains and a used straw under the desk Rm 130 and 108 had ants. I mentioned the ants to the front desk clerk. Hopefully it will be addressed. There was an issue with the front desk clerk Vanessa. This young lady could use some training in the hospitality business. Over all I was pleased With the area but our family woukd not recommend the stay cleanliness
This Laquita lobby was really nice, the room was fine, but seemed a little outdated and like it could use a deeper cleaning, not just the every day cleaning they do. Overall it was a good stay for what was paid and for how convenient it was to walk to the domain. The two front desk girls were amazing though.
The property requires significant renovation, particularly in the lobby and elevators. Unfortunately, the staff was unwelcoming and rude during our stay. We also struggled to find a cart to transport our belongings upstairs. Additionally, the sink in our room was clogged, which has now happened to us twice at La Quinta. This is clearly an ongoing issue that needs to be addressed.
There were bugs in my room and it had a broken shower with black mold in it.
Not clean
The linens were dirty they had white spots and so did the TV screen.
It's near The Domain a trendy upscale "village area" filled with great shops and cool restaurants. The hotel also located near a main highway for easy access. Great neighborhood!
Average
Great location, not very appealing
Location is amazing. Located in the Domain. The room, elevator and gym need major upgrades. Elevator smelled awful, and was missing hardware. Room also smelled musky. Air condition was extremely loud. Kept waking us up. No vent in the restroom. You could hear everything in the next rooms. Most the weights in the gym facility were missing, as well as a treadmill not working.
Good for price
Nice staff. Rooms could use a little updating but overall ok
Loved the location and all of the great shopping and dining options close by. The property and our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was also very helpful and friendly. We will be back!
Congrats
Na
Good value for the price and a convenient location next to major thoroughfares.
Repeat Suite stay
Stay here almost every Christmas it’s close to family for the holidays
The only suggestions i would havr since it was Christmas the breakfast was serve later
Disappointed
The key wouldn’t work. Every time I left the room I would have to go downstairs to have it programmed again. Then door to enter wouldn’t close right. Bathroom door wouldn’t close either. Told the lady and was given attitude every time. I told her I better not be charged damage as I told her that first night when I ask for another room. She said no I put you there. Worse stay ever.
The property is very run down, for the location. There were ants in our room all over the place and the beds were super small & uncomfortable.
For our purposes the hotel was in a wonderful location. The staff were great! The only thing that we wish was better was the bed but then one's own bed is always better than a hotel bed unless you can afford a 5-star hotel.

C+ hotel with potential, not the best or worst
TL:DR—C+ hotel, in a great and convenient location close to The Domain, close to the highway and affordable. The staff was accommodating for a late check in after midnight, a great budget option overall Pros: highway access, close to the domain for shopping and eating, affordability, great staff and service Cons: felt cheap, 20” non-smart TV, beds are small (at least on the 2nd floor), breakfast is subpar, water doesn’t get hot in the bathrooms
