This hotel advertises free parking on their website. They will not honor, gentlemen at the counter communicated with the manager in an attempt to honor it, however, he was unsuccessful. I won’t ever book this hotel again!
For a property around a big airport, this is decent and money’s worth. Good amenities for an airport hotel.

Great place to stay.
Bar and restaurant doesn't open till 5, nowhere close to get lunch. Nothing to do close by the hotel. Breakfast buffet was very good. A bit pricy, but they gave is a free breakfast voucher.

Sonesta Lousy Stay
The pool wasnt heated as stated, the hot tub didnt work at all, they wouldnt give me an ice bucket and suggested i buy my own ice and cooler. The rooms werent made up nice and they stunk really bad. Asked to be accommodated for my poor stay but was refused.
Name change within last 4 months, making updates. Friendly staff, on-site bar and restaurant open until 10 pm

I only gave it 4 stars because it's an older property with some wear and tear. Other than that the price was great, the room was nice and check in/check out was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend.
I like the mint I wall in the resestions lady was pilot and I like that the ceiling was tall and like the restaurant to.

Checkin at reception took longer than I would expect. Not sure why Husband while in the shower discovered that there was no body soap, shampoo or conditioner I reported to reception I was told they would give us some if asked. Too late as he was in the shower Shuttle to airport was very good
Staff was unhelpful. No transportation to the airport provided. Hot tub broken, no toiletries in bathroom, room phone broken, only one ice machine works on the 3rd floor, 8 floors total. Room dirty, specially ceiling area around the air vent. Do not recommend this property at this price point, definitely not for people traveling on red eye flights

Love, the fact that they accepted cash deposit. It was an easy check-in and checkout process. However, the bedding could use better blankets maybe ones without feathers that poke you while you sleep. And there was no hot water whenever we took a shower just warm. Other than that great would definitely stay again
We booked a nonsmoking room but in the night me and my child couldn’t sleep because of smoking smell. Not sure where it was coming from. Maybe from a next room
I’m not going to lie, the reviews before did make me a bit nervous. The hotel is newly renamed. There is a security guard at the entrance of the parking lot, Room was cleaned and quiet. No issues with check in or check out.
Security stopped and asked if I were a guest each time I would enter the property. Kinda annoy. MAINLY THE HOT DIDNT WORK AND STAFF WAS NO HELPFUL

The property was false advertisement. The amenities did not work , pool , jacuzzi freezing. Coffee machine in room didn’t work and we could not get free coffee from hotel. Air was broken so we had to sleep In a freezing room all weekend. Locked out of room and had to go back to desk to get new keys. Hotel is not as advertised online.

Hot tub broken. Had to find out myself. Glad I didn’t get my suit on before finding out and wondering outside! Front desk was not informative. Had to ask about breakfast and where to find my room. Restaurant on site was a dump. Only very limited selection of alcohol. Nothing on tap. No change, card only. Wasn’t about to try the food. Did this place just open? I won’t be back.

The service was terrible from the time we checked in until leaving the people at the front desk must’ve all been new it was the worst service. Every front desk person was always in their cell phones talking or texting as if doing their job was an inconvenience. This was our first time staying and no one offered to show us or even point us to any of the amenities or other spaces we could go. Where do we go to eat and drink and what times? Is there a pool? A smoking area? A patio somewhere to just sit outside who knows?! Such a disappointment for charging over $100 a night … long story short we left here and paid $65 a night at palace inn that was nicer, cleaner, & had great customer service!
Can't say anything about the stay - by the time the airport shuttle was 1 1/2 hours late and the hotel stopped answering their phones I caught a cab to another hotel. I will be suing Sonesta, Hotels com and Expedia over this mess - first time I have been treated this incredibly badly - and someone is going to pay!!!!!
I read some of the previous reviews and was a little concerned, however, I think that they exaggerated. I think security was amazing and I felt totally safe. It is on the edge of a declining area, but we are talking about most areas that are affordable.

Outdate hotel that needs refurbished. Every ice maker on each floor was broken. Hot tub was broken. Took 2 hours to check in due to computer issues. Toilet float kept sticking.
I wish I knew I wasn’t gonna have a microwave. I had one in my reservation but when I came it wasn’t none. I even asked about it and nobody did nothing.
I couldnt justify payimg the 22 dollara for the breakfast that was offered.
Home keeping service is not good & Also front desk employees always busy in their personal phone calls & they don’t care about the customers

Well , the hotel itself was very nice. I was picked up by a shuttle bus. But , I was taken to the wrong Sonesta Hotel. So ,at around 10pm I took Uber to the right one. So this wasn’t fun. I also was hoping that the hotel is right by the airport ( since it mentioned that)

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The property offered inaccessible services. Free shuttle service to and from airport but not for disabled customers. Need an ADA room? Sorry this hotel will not go through the trouble of changing the room for you. The ramps were extremely unsafe and the staff seemed uninterested in providing assistance. On top of that, they didn’t even offer basic amenities like access to water. When I asked for drinking water, I was met with rude responses and no help at all. The entire atmosphere was unwelcoming, and the lack of care from the staff made the experience worse. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially if you need basic accommodations or expect any level of customer service. A truly bad stay.

I booked this is hotel while it was a Hyatt and they recently sold it to Sonesta. There was one person checking people in and the line was 10 deep. The poor employee didn’t know what she was doing and line wasn’t moving. I waited 30 minutes and left. The place also looks like a dump.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any hotel. It started out with us waiting two hours for the shuttle (that never showed up), to people not answering phones, to items being broken, and then always a reason for the poor service. We were told it was due to the hotel just being bought, cleaning not being in, or that they were sooooo busy. Never again will I stay at this property nor do I want to stay with the Hyatt that I originally planned on staying with. I even talked to corporate the day before we flew out and no one conveniently said anything.
Stayed here during a convention also held at the hotel . It was during the management change so checking in was a little long but overall it was a nice hotel and a nice stay.
Great night stay
Nice upkeep BUT I had to pay for an Uber because they didn’t answer my CALLS (more than an hour; a NUMBER of times) requesting their advertised free shuttle. AND, I almost didn’t get a room because the hotel changed ownership (Sonoma is the new owner) and it seemed they weren’t going to honor paid for reservations. I had to wait more than an hour for the verdict on my fate. I got to the hotel about 12:30 am ( started calling the shuttle a few hours before that; about 10:40 pm) but didn’t get a room until about 2:00 am!! How do I go about being reimbursed for my Uber charges???
My key wouldn't work to room, and i had to get key card redone twice. House keeping didn't clean room, and when i called for clean towels nobody showed up so i had to go to front desk again. An event was going on at the hotel, and there was no reserved parking for hotel guests.

I love that the location is quiet and safe to stay in. I didn't like that the waterfall didn't work at the pool and well as not constantly maintained. Side not, not many stores around the area. You will need a bike or car to get food and basic items

Refrigerator didn’t work and no microwave
Poor front desk and room service. The phones don’t work either so you have to go down to the front desk to put in a request ( if they are there), the place is clean other than that nothing else shows it’s a 4 star hotel. I didn’t enjoy my experience there, I was expecting something better
I checked in at 10 and checked out at 3 this hotel is less than 2 stars a waste of money i called for a shuttle and waited over an hour i had to call 3 times the hotel is 17 min away and the driver said it was no traffic i requested towels because for some reason it made sense to have 1 towel for 2 ppl and the lady working the desk said she couldnt bring me any the service sucked the tub waa stopped up just dont waste ur money or time by staying here

Took too long to be picked up from the airport I called a hour before I arrived I called when I arrived and it took me calling every 15 minutes for the airport shuttle to arrive after a hour of waiting. Then the front desk usually take about 3-5 minutes to check me in this time it took 20 minutes and it was the hardest bed I slept on there
The hotel was old and out of date and can benefit from a complete remodel. The hot water turned brown and I'm not sure if this is an issue with the city or property. Friendly staff and the food was decent.
Terrible and dirty hotel
My goodness, what has happened to the Hyatt? Your better off staying at the Fairfield in or any other motel/Inn in the Houston area. This hotel was dirty, dilapidated, poor all around maintainable. Terrible smell. You can see that this Hyatt hotel was neglected. It will ruin your trip because it is an eyesore. We were so disappointed we tried booking a different hotel last minute. The hotel looks absolutely different from the pictures

I’m flying standby with my 75 year old Mother so we picked this Hyatt because it was closer to the airport since our flight was 5 am the next morning. We waited at the airport for over an hour because no one at the hotel would answer the telephone. The phone was picked up twice and the staff hung up both times. At one time I had 2 telephones ringing at the same time and they never picked up after over 6 minutes. When I arrived, there was an older gentleman that was very rude both times I encountered him. He brushed me off so I dealt with Wesley who tried to help. Unfortunately offering breakfast the next day when the flight left at 5 am was not helpful. I was very disappointed and I’m always referring a Hyatt Hotel to friends and family. By the way, the older middle eastern man did not give me his name.
Dissatisfied
The building is in dire need of deep cleaning and perhaps gutting. Its looks dated and the rooms are gloomy and the front desk staff is laxed in their service. Roaches, dirty towles, chipped furniture and exterior is not welcoming.
Nice and clam place
I didn’t like that there was a “hidden fee” of $50 for property use. I’m already paying almost $200 for a night’s stay and you get there and don’t have an option than pay the $50. The thing is, I didn’t know why was the extra money for. The service at the counter was not so great. The room was noisy and sounded like people were working all day and night making noise and hammering things. Then personnel tried to enter my room three different times in the morning, even after I told them I didn’t need room service. That was very annoying! The second day I asked a staff member to hold my bags and when I came back to pick them up there was a black staff member that assisted me right away, she was very professional, and helped me with my bags, she was amazing and I’m really grateful for her kindness.

When I booked the hotel I was told the pool was up and running. When we checked in they kept telling us that it would open the next day and never did. Finally spoke to someone and they told us that it would be down for the next week. They never answered the phone when we called because our AC unit would not work. The room smelled of old smoke and mold. Overall the hotel needs to be updated and better employed. We decided to check out early and was informed that we would receive our money back and now they are informing us that we will not be refunded.... If you stay here good luck it was a mistake on our part.

Breakfast isn’t included they want 22.99 a person! Surrounding neighborhood is run down. Jets in the hot tub didn’t work. Rooms,hallway and lobby were nice and clean though.

This property is bad if you are going to stay at this hotel be prepared because you are going to arrive by car but who knows if you leave in your car there is a lot of theft and the staff does nothing to maintain security for their guests they broke my windows from my truck and they do nothing
