This place was kid friendly. Easy access to attractions as well. If I could do anything different, I would choose a different city view but other than that, everything was beautiful. Staff was so friendly and respectful.
We were told that we would be accommodated for some inconveniences during check in and have yet to be refunded, communicated with or anything. Basically lied to and sent on our way. Now we can’t get a returned phone call, email, or text.
Unique, nice, and clean.
Great
The stay was great. Room was great and clean. Only issue we had was the elevators. Only 2 were working and not able to keep up with the demand. We didn't let it ruin our stay.
It was ok
Check in was easy. Had an issue with the tv - called front desk and was put on hold for 20 minutes. My partner came across concierge while waiting for front desk attendant who finally helped . Breakfast buffet - the servers ignored us - had to ask for water and glasses were slammed down. Had to argue to get the check liked that the hotel was hooked to the mall - that was different. Rooms were clean . I’m not sure if I would stay again .
Na
Rooms are really nice! Very convenient location!!
Brunch on Saturday was terrible (service and food both) but better on Sunday. Way over priced. There was some kind of disturbance in our hall late Saturday and when I opened the door there was a group of men (5-6) who may have been security telling others to quiet down. There was pot smoke in the air. Wondered why the trouble makers weren’t escorted out… Water pressure was very poor. Front desk staff was very friendly. Loved that it was attached to a mall but wondered about trouble makers having such easy access to our hallways. The floor access button in the elevator wasn’t activated.
Great place
Good
We loved the staff at The Hyatt!
One of the BEST I’ve stayed in
My stay at the Hyatt was the best! I can’t find one thing I’d complain about. From walking in till I walked out it was a great experience. I’d recommend this place to anyone!
A very nice hotel with a great breakfast but staff communication was entirely lacking
The convenience to the mall
Cracked tiles everywhere, vinyl flooring lifting up, no hand towels in bathrooms, no blankets.. Biggest joke of a hotel I’ve ever seen.
It was connected to the mall
Well kept hotel
great hotel
Yok we s
In need of a serious update first room had a very strong odor broken lamp shade dirty walls tv out dated furniture needs replacing change room same thing has a old musty smell gave me motel or a Inn vibe not luxury at all this most definitely not what i expected
It doesn’t look updated. There was nothing plush about the experience. It’s a place to sleep, but no extras. The checkin experience and location were really nice. No continental breakfast. It was ok. Might stay there again, but not any time soon. I’m actually heading to Birmingham again this weekend, but will make other lodging arrangements.
Getting run down! Have stayed here numerous times in the past but it needs a lot of work!
We loved this property and would consider coming back just to stay here! From the moment we stepped out of the car the staff was hospitable. Every person at every level was nice, friendly, polite, and helpful. The hotel was first-class and comfortable. Excellence is the word that describes it best.
Don’t stay if you have a pet
If I had known that the pet fee was $100, I would not have booked this hotel. I only paid $105 for the room with breakfast. This hotel is NOT pet friendly. There were no pet amenities but the pet fee was outrageous.
Amazing
Everything was great there!
Love the ease of everything. Enjoyed being connected to the mall. Everything was great. The plugs are lose and your chargers fall out but overall a great property.
Lavinia was awesome! She went out of her way to be hospitable and show kindness.
Hotel was not clean and my room only had one towel.
Loud AC, wasn’t able to checkin until 5pm
great service
Hyatt Birmingham
Friendly customer service. Room was very nice & clean. Would have appreciated a microwave.
Drury Inn off I-65 in B’ham
Hotel was nice, breakfast same as other hotels and clean room and breakfast area. Check-in lady was exceptional, went the extra mile.
I did not stay at the Hyatt
We liked everything and the hospitality
Upon checking in there were only two people to service people checking in and out although the two ladies were very nice I'm sure they were overwhelmed they should may think about having more people especially if they are having events going on around in the city. The parking garage is a structural joke coming in and leaving if you have a larger vehicle it would be best to just use valet. I booked two rooms together on the same reservation thinking that we would be closer on the same floor we were not we were on separate floors which was not a big deal but I just assumed since I booked them together that would be an option for us to stay close together for the night. The room was fine except there was still food items left in the refrigerator from the last occupying guest but overall the stay was decent the beds were comfortable and staff was accommodating just a few small things other than the parking that would need to be addressed
The staff is always very friendly. It's very convenient to get to other areas of Birmingham.
I loved my stay here it was clean and quiet will definitely stay here
I was thrilled with/ my stay overall. I booked the night before and still had a nice room overlooking the parking lot and a shopping center. My room thermostat worked great as someone who prefers a warmer setting. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaints were that the phone in the room didn't work and the cover was not thick enough. The staff in the dining room was very friendly, and I enjoyed them! Will stay again!
Mary J Blige Concert
I booked the room for the Mary J Blige concert. The parking situation is interesting. The check in process was efficient. The room was nice and clean.
Good service
Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Nice for the price of the property.
Great stay!
Very friendly staff and rooms were amazing
!
Yikes indeed
Stay
Great stay, friendly staff
Easy access to shopping and food options. Easy parking, convenient area.
I have no complaints. Very clean.
This is the best customer service I have experienced in a long time all around. Great valet, front door and restaurant staff! They are the model of how sercice needs to be in this country. Excellent location with shopping connected to the hotel. Highly recommend!
Overall great property
The property was very nice on the inside. They have valle parking in the front, or you can pay to park in a parking garage. The room was nice. The only draw back was the tub made a cracking sound while taking a shower. Overall, a nice place to stay.
The front desk associates were SOOOO unbelievably nice when I checked in. There was an extremely helpful bellman that helped take up Our luggage. This was such a pleasant experience all the way around!!
Overall good
Ok
Fun
Every thing was very nice . The staff was very helpful
The property was centrally located for our family to go to and from a volleyball tournament. We also had some business meetings while there it worked out great.
Wonderful
Quick over night trip was wonderful from the easy check until the easy check out!
Date night
Great stay for a weekend with the hubs.
Ok stay
Stay wasn't anything special. Worn around the edges. Hairdryer was disgusting. Smelled like it was used in an industrial setting and was filthy. Our view was right down on the pool, and although I understand some maintenance was going on..it was a mess. Housekeeping only made one bed randomly.
The only hotel to stay at
I'd rate this hotel 10 stars if i could. I felt like royalty the moment i hit the property. The valets were so sweet and helpful. The ladies at the front desk got me checked in and out quickly and efficiently. The room itself was worth every penny and more. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was luxurious. I could have spent hours in the shower, especially since they had this great smelling soap. I had a great view of the city from my window and were so close to a lot of really cool venues. This is the only hotel I'll be staying at when i go to birmingham. 100/10
Beds were very hard, wrong size sheets on bed (too small and not even a fitted sheet), came off or bunched up every night. Otherwise clean but average at best.
Hotel was great but had to switch rooms at 11 a clock at night because the heat wouldn't working it alest 70 degree in there it was already like 30 degree outside if i didn't go to the front desk (after i call down for them to tell me that the Maintenance. Man is busy) if wasn't for the other nice service said we will just move u my lil girl birthday trip could have been put on froze
Had issues with checking in on time
Enjoyed our stay
The parking it awful and the price to psrk is ridiculous high..only way you get through that park garage is if you drive a pinto...it way to small and vallet too high...Ill never book that hotel again due to that awful parking
One night stay
Stay was short, but good. Only thing, and I mean only thing, was the dresser where the tv sat had vents under it that was really dusty. Looked like it hadn’t been touched in a while. Front desk staff was absolutely amazing! And the parking garage….. 👍👍
Overnight stay
It was a one night stay. It was connected to a mall, which was cool! Hotel rooms were clean. Front desk was very nice. I was having an issue with the parking but it was settled immediately!
Excellent stay. Everything was great! I understand some of the comments about the entrance to the parking and almost let that discourage me from reserving here. So glad I didn’t. It’s a bit narrow but not extreme. Room was clean and comfortable. Great mattress. Great breakfast. The staff was so friendly and helpful in the restaurant and at the front desk. I’ve noticed many positive comments about the valets. We didn’t use this service at all but I was so impressed with their friendliness when I ran into them in various elevator rides. It was noticeable.
The hotel had a funny mildew smell on the carpet, through out the hotel, that gave me a really bad headache. Otherwise my stay was wonderful.
Won’t stay here again
The hotel was nice, the parking was not. Breakfast was not included in our stay and was incredibly overpriced. The eggs were super wet and gross. The buffet was not worth 22$
The ice machine on my floor was not working. I book the room and was told it had free hot brbreabreakfast, but i had to pay for the breakfast.
The staff we're very professional. Room nice and neat. I love the bath towels And robes
This hotel was amazing! We came down for my daughter's birthday and she had a blast everything was coinvent and close to shopping.
Oh..."It's the little things". At first glance, it's great; clean, quiet, nice area, etc. But... We never did get any hot water so a shower was out of the question. We got 3 bath towels, 2 washcloths, but no hand towels, had to dry out hands on a washcloth. The coffee maker had 4 coffee pods, 6 sugars, but only 1 creamer that didn't even change the color of the coffee. There was no ice in the ice maker on our 14th floor, had to go to the 12th floor to find ice. There is a clock in the bathroom mirror (which is great!), but it had the wrong time. Also, there was no fan in the bathroom, but with no hot water, we didn't need one. And, the kicker, when booking this hotel on Expedia, there was no mention that when we arrived we had to pay $22 extra to drive ourselves down to the parking garage in the basement! $28 for valet. Like I said, it's the little things you remember. We won't be back.
This has become our favorite place to atay
I really enjoyed the top-notched service provided at this hotel. The fact each employee made you feel special was endearing. Also, the fact I could walk from the girl lobby directly into the mall was one of best selling points. This will definitely be my hotel of choice the next time I'm in the Birmingham area.
We love how nice this facility is. It is also very easy to get from the rooms to the parking gagrage. The attached mall is a bonus
Love it here!!!!
Accepting of pets, not pet friendly.
Pet friendly and accepts pets are very different. Surprised by a $100 fee at the counter for traveling with our pet.
Pretty ritzy. Self parking seems daunting at first but it's pretty easy to access the elevator.
Near the mall
Great
Great hotel
Amazing. Early check-in was very accommodating.
Decent stay. Only complaint I have is the access to parking garage. If you have a SUV, good luck with getting your vehicle in and out of the access point with hotel card...very tight.
I absolutely love this hotel
The property and the staff are great. The breakfast is fair, my stay was for 7 nights. Three of the breakfast meals were Mexican food (breakfast), and it was horrible. I went out for breakfast on those mornings. My stay was for the week of Christmas and it was cold. I arrived at a room that was 62 degrees, and the heating system is horrible. It took about 8 hours for the temperature to get up to 71. The thermostat limit is 72, and the room reaches 72 one time in 7 days. Never could feel any warm air blowing. The HVAC system is inadequate . The room always felt cool. Probably would not stay there again in the winter, and thinking the rooms may feel warm in the heat of the summer
Not as dog friendly as described. No free breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay; however, we ate at the restaurant inside the hotel and the food was overpriced for the quality. Our bartender was an angel though. I had the pasta & I couldn’t eat it. I felt with the prices it would’ve been divine, but wasn’t. I was sick about the amount we paid for our food. It was terrible. Our room was clean and nice but we were disappointed that the fridge we had wasn’t really working and we didn’t have a microwave in it either. I will say we did not have our car valeted, but the staff there was super nice.
Everything was beautiful room was clean the only thing i didnt care for was the fact that one of the lamps didn't work and both plugs on one side of the room wasnt working other than that my stay was wonderful
Excellent and helpful staff. Stayed last minute and they were very helpful
We checked in at 7 pm, and the room was not ready? Not sure how that is possible. We’re told we would receive a text when the room was ready. It is now 8:45 pm. Still no text . . . . . .
The place was easy to get too, staff was great, and our room was super nice.
Great spot
Good stay
Christine ( I think that was her name; long dark hair) was very welcoming and professional. She was kind enough to give us a voucher for breakfast. :). The young valet lady was super nice and very helpful also. Offered to get us ice and turned on the lights and brought all our things in.
Thank you
Weekend Shopper
Front desk staff professional and friendly. Room looked clean but had an unpleasant odor. Breakfast was great.
Very clean and pretty

Disappointed stay
Clogged bathroom sink. Just not my ex experiencing from staying in many high Regency hotels it’s my hotel preference but this was a disappointment.
