Charged for water in our room. Sign on the said you had to be part of Hyatt rewards, which I am. Then said it was wrong program. Hope it was worth losing any future customers over that.
Excellent.
Room was very nice and clean Breakfast could be better and a bigger area.
I have to give this hotel a 2 star rating for a very huge problem to me, and for something that's never happened in my many years of booking hotels online. Weeks in advance, I booked a double bed room and paid for it immediately. On the day I arrived, at check-in, I was given a King room, which I most definitely did NOT want, did NOT book, and did NOT pay for. I told the front desk clerk my confirmation, reservation, receipt, etc., all said DOUBLE ROOM, 2 BEDS. She was absolutely unhelpful and implied I had changed the booking (I had not). And because all the double rooms were booked I was stuck with the King room and had no explanation offered as to how this happened. That's not okay. What happened?? Additionally, there are multiple undisclosed charges on my credit card now pending for over $120, that were NOT included in ANY of my final bills or receipts (not for parking, room charge, etc). What are these for?! Nobody informed me of additional charges upon check in or check out. That being said, the hotel was otherwise pretty good. Smells nice, looks clean, great location, you can easily and comfortably walk to downtown, family friendly. Breakfast was good with many options. And even though I was given the wrong room, it had a nice view toward downtown from the top floor. I liked this hotel but after my experience with booking I probably would not stay here again.
Clean, quiet & we were able to check in early. They even upgraded our room.
Awesome night and will stay again
We chose this hotel to be close to the Alamodome and it was just 5 mins away. Location was easy to get to and parking seemed safe and secure. Staff was so nice. The room was clean and comfy. We liked that the sofa pulled out into a bed which helped with all the kids. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay again. ** this hotel is not walking distance to the tourist part of the riverwalk. I’d say this is more for the Alamodome
Great staying we will come back for sure 👍
Well maintained. Friendly staff.
Check in was easy and staff was super nice
Very nice.
Great visit, close to Riverwalk restaurants, super helpful staff, very clean updated rooms.
Never git to the property because expedia screwd me
Great location to the river walk.
Would definitely stay here again. Major attractions walkable
Staff was very helpful, hotel was well cared for and room was spacious. Nice breakfast was included. Highly recommend.
Nice location breakfast was great
Great location on riverwalk just slightly away from busy touristy area, but still close enough to be an easy walk. The only complaint-the bed was terrible(too soft)
Great!
Nice, clean, simple hotel.
Excellen!!!
Good
Staff was amazing and breakfast was great!
Loved the view. The room was fantastic. Would definitely go back again.
Clean staff friends , Will be comes back
Very clean, friendly staff greeted you upon arrival, right off river walk.
Staff are attentive with your needs and very helpful.
Great staff! Very clean rooms and excellent housekeepers!
Great hotel with friendly staff.
Nice location, nice staff, decent breakfast!
Great fireworks
New Year Eve
Occupancy incorrect
The sofa bed was way to small even for 2 small children to sleep on so the room sleeps 5 and not 6 as advertised.
This place was phenomenal, staff, service, walking (location). The rooms were gorgeous, clean and quiet. The safety was great. We preferred the short walk to King William District for gorgeous old homes and architecture!! Hyatt brand just won us over from Hilton!!
The room was clean and big. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast was good.
Fantastic stay, no problems. Very clean. Good breakfast
Clean and quiet but they had only one person taking care of everything.
Close to the river and everything
I didn't like that we had to pay for parking.
Very convinient.
Front desk lady was not polite.
Clean rooms great staff
Morning staff good night staff super bad !!
From the moment we arrived everything was great. Front desk staff did a great job welcoming us. Room was clean and comfortable.
Very nice for a quick stop in San Antonio. Not a luxury facility but surely clean and decently comfortable.
The hotel room was nice and convenient.
Good service
I liked the secured parking lot. The facility was clean and nicely kept. The staff we encountered was friendly but they weren't going out of their way to help. Breakfast was good but not enough for the amount of people staying at the hotel.
I'd love to stay again.
My son and I were in town for a wedding and the staff was so friendly and personable. They made great suggestions to us of things to check out and experience. House keeping was also very nice and readily happy to accommodate any requests for linen or a courtesy clean. The ONLY thing I have to say is the bed was hard and worn in the center. I slept rough all weekend, but the staffs friendliness outweighed the bad sleep.
The place was very nice. Jasmine was very nice and friendly at the front desk. Housekeeping was also nice and professional. Easy access to the riverwalk, pass the elevators out the double doors and down the stairs. Don't forget your key card. When I booked the room, the website didn't mention I had to pay for parking $25 a day at the hotel parking lot. They don't except cash. Kitchen personal were mean and nasty, rude and inconsiderate. If they didn't want to work on Christmas day they all should of stayed home. If you still end up at the Hyatt. You better be down for breakfast at 6am- 9:30am sharp. They didn't care that there was a line full of people. Kitchen staff wasn't bringing out any more food and no coffee. BS. It was Christmas morning. Thumbs down. My family was starving, so we ended up getting Ihop through Uber eats and dishing out $78.54 for breakfast. We checked out 10 hours early so we didn't have to deal with that mess again. Not booking this hotel next year and letting all my family and friends not to book here.
.
I don't like there were and extra charge for parking lot.
Stay was fine but the SURPRISE 25.00 a night Parking WAS NOT COOL Won’t stay there again
Nice, but desceiption is deceptive
It was a nice hotel, however, it is not disclosed here that we have to pay for parking even as residents of the hotel. Also, there is no microwave in the room.
Very nice and clean property. Close to the riverwalk and restaurants
Plenty if parking, but u have to pay 25 dollars per stay, but it makes up for it when they have security outside. Breakfast was really good, fresh and plenty of it. Facility was clean and plenty of staff.
The staff did such a fantastic job can't hardly believe it the best hotel ever
Good breakfast choices.
Staff was very helpful and attentive. Room was very clean. Was within reasonable walking distance to the river walk.
This hotel is within walking distance of Alamodome and the cost of the parking lot (within the hotel property) is already included on your rate. This is pretty convenience if you know what the parking lots on San Antonio cost. This hotel is also within walking distance of San Antonio River walk. The rate includes a breakfast buffet (eggs, protein, coffee, waffles, bread, etc). Note: The clean plates and cups for the breakfast buffet are set up like in no other buffet, you will know what i mean when you see it.
San Antonio
Great hotel right on the river
Was nice
It was terrific location on the riverwalk.
When we got here the staff was very helpful. Gave us good information about the area and was very pleasant. The staff from the desk to the cleaning people had a good attitude all around. I would recommend this hotel anytime!!!
Staffs are kind and caring.
It was a great experience.
This is a great hotel, except the bathroom was ridiculously small.
Good stay
It was very good
Had great stay
Good, but not great.
The rooms were recently remodeled and not a hair or smudge in sight! I walked around barefoot and my feet stayed clean. A/C and heat were great. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast is over promptly at 930. They actually shut the doors at 924am today. They do offer Starbucks, but there's not complimentary coffee all day in the lounge. The coffee offered in the rooms is nasty. Beds are not very comfy at all, but the towels were large and soft. Bathroom is tiny and if you shut the door, it feels very claustrophobic. No microwave or complimentary lotions / face cleansers. You might have to ask for those items, but was not stocked in the room. We would stay there again if we had to, but only bc it was SUPER clean and the staff was excellent.
Overall excellent stay.
We enjoyed our stay. The place was very well secure - we felt safe. However, it wasn't overbearing. It was evident they thought through how to keep non-hotel residents from wandering through the hotel. Also the complimentary breakfast was very nice - even my picky-eating 8yr old found a few things to eat. That was a pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this hotel. One brief mention - the hotel is 'technically' on the River Walk. However, it was about a 10-15 minute walk before you reach any of the River Walk shops. However, it was a nice November weather day to walk and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the river. It also allowed us the opportunity to walk-off the food we ate as we headed back to the room. We all got good steps in and able to take plenty of scenic pictures along the way.
Walking distance to the Riverwalk, shopping and a variety of dining options.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Excellent!
Friendly and helpful
Hyatt quality
It was perfect for this trip. I needed something close enough to walk and enjoy the city in a decent range price. Breakfast was the average Hyatt place, good. This is one of my reasons to choose Hyatt.
Nice Property and met all of our needs.
Good place to stay at
The room was a little dirty and the toilet was leaking
Nice breakfast every morning. Room was cleaned they day.
Good
Good property, charging 25 bucks for parking seemed a tad too much
I would definitely stay here again. The river was right behind the hotel which made a short distance to the Riverwalk. Very clean and staff was polite. The breakfast was delicious
Nice clean updates hotel within walking distance of the Riverwalk either by street or along the river. Free breakfast was good. My only negative would be the bathroom lights stay on by motion sensor but it doesn’t recognize movement in the shower so we had complete darkness in the bathroom during our showers at least three times.
Great service from the front desk secretary. Room had ants. My bathroom was not all the way clean. Could tell on the toilet it was used prior to me getting into the room. Wont go back.
not what we expected from this hotel
.
River walk
Nice place close to everything
Love the area. Was able to walk everywhere
Everyone was very friendly and the hotel was very convenient to get to where we needed to go
Very organized and friendly staff
Everything was average, breakfast sucks plus not enough sitting area to eat
I stayed for 5 days to attend a conference. The hotel was walking distance to the conference center, Southtown shops and restaurants, and the Riverwalk.
Located on the River. Great breakfast. Walkable to downtown attractions and shopping. In and out parking at a reasonable cost. Large, nicely furnished rooms with good layout. Quiet. Very friendly and professional staff.
The only problem we had was that the hotel had oversold in King rooms. They gave us a room with 2 Queens. The room was clean, spacious.
The breakfast food was cold. The room was hot.
Nice hotel but the Riverwalk and a short walk to the main Riverwalk area and all its restaurants. Breakfast was typical due that style of hotel and OK. The room wasn't cleaned until very late, after I'd already returned from being out all day at work on 2 of the 5 nights.
My concern is that they don't bring the towels to your room, you have to go back to the lobby and if you’re alone with kids it’s a bit difficult for that. Need to offer better service for that. And when you're going to buy something like chips or water they take your card somewhere else to charge you, I just don’t trust when they do that.
(Mina) was “WONDERFUL” & the entire Staff was courteous, professional, & helpful . . . I’d definitely stay at this hotel (again) if I return to San Antonio!!
The staff could not have been friendlier, and the pool, fitness center, great breakfast and access to the Riverwalk were great perks! The parking price seemed extreme and should have been included in the price of the room.
