Don't book a Suite

Was apparently upgraded to a junior suite but was the smallest suite I have ever seen, if this is a suite then definitely don't bother (Room 406). We had originally booked a 2 Double Bed room but they "upgraded" us and so one of us had to then sleep on a sofa bed. Shower dribbled, literally no pressure. Bed was comfy, location was good for Pier 39.

Staff was great, room was clean. Outside fire places were awesome, they give marshmallow kit to make smores.

A start to our cruise vacation.

We arrived early and they gave us an early check in, a bottle of wine and $15 credit so we will do the breakfast here. Very clean and lovely room.

They did not registered my party’s names even when I asked for so they had issues trying to reprogram room keys. On top of that they did not clean our rooms but they knew we need it because they asked during the checkin process. Seems like they just want to do the bear minimum for the guests.

The staff was very friendly, helped make our whole trip so much easier the hotel was so fun and felt very cozy.

The Hotel Zoe is nice, clean. It’s advertised with parking, although it’s valet parking for $65 or a public parking garage for $30. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was good but for 2 people $300 seems expensive. Over all, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean

It was great. The door didn't latch correctly and we had issues with the lock releasing to get in or out. Ittook us five tries before the lock would release, but the hotel didn't seem to care. The blinds broke and nearly hit my wife in the head. That was fixed quickly. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

I had to call almost every night to ask for whater (bottles). Body wash run out and I had to get out of the shower and ask for it. VIP should cover all that with out asking. Cleaning lady and valet parking personal and some of the front desk were phenomenal.

Fires outside were super fun!

Great place to stay… All the staff was friendly and accommodating…. I will return when visiting SF..

A step above at the Wharf.

Comfortable. Cool new furnishings. On a very loud street but my room faced an inner courtyard so was very quiet. Nice amenities.

Everything was great

Good clean hotel. Easily accessible to the tram and main areas in SF. Was there for a conference in Union Square and liked being away from the rush, but close enough. Dining options were nearby and loved that there was a trader Joe's right by the hotel. Tram stop was around the corner. Great stay!

Nice hotel.

Hotel is great. Good location. Only bad feed back is went in morning for breakfast and found out they only had brunch. It cost $61.00. Not worth it. You couldn’t order on menu.

Easy to walk everywhere.

Nice hotel, fun touristy area. They gave me a free room upgrade which was nice. Unfortunately I saw that my shower hadn’t been cleaned, there was hair still in it the evening when I went to bathe, which kind of grossed me out.

They say they are giving you a credit for their restaurant. Then the restaurant adds twice the amount of your drinks to your tab for a mandatory service fee.

Hotel Zoe a SF Favorite

My 2nd time staying at Hotel Zoe. Cozy comfortable room in excellent condition. Nice quiet neighborhood close to Fisherman's Wharf and North Beach. Friendly, helpful staff.

We were put on the bottom floor because qe have a pet.Room was ok.Charged $224 on top of room fee for parking $70,$40 just because and get this a ridiculous $100 pet fee qhich we were not indormed of.This place is a blatant rip off dont stay here.

Treated us exceptionally well. Hospitality was great. Hotel was close to everything we went out there for! Lost my watch and they brought it straight to the front. Love it

I didnt like the daily 74 dollar charge for parking at a place I stayed nor resort fees. SAN Francisco is rediculous to live in and if I could I would like a rebate on the parking

The best thing about this hotel is the location which is right at Pier 39, very close to Big Bus first stop and public transportation as well. The room was clean and nice but a bit small which I guess is expected in expensive city like SF. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

Hotel with a nice vibe and great location

Had a great stay at Zoe's. The location is great around Fisherman's Wharf & easy access to public transport to get around San Francisco. The food at the onsite restaurant (Pescatore) was delicious and the restaurant staff were wonderful. The hotel is clean and has a nice vibe. As a VIP with hotels.com we were entitled to some perks and had been confirmed on our booking. Unfortunately I needed to ask for them the next day. It is so much nicer to be offered upon check-in.

Central & convenient

The Hotel is neatly located centrally and has valet parking at a hefty fee. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Everything seemed to be an “up charge” at this hotel but the staff was friendly and professional.

I have never experienced such a friendly and accommodating hotel staff! This was our second stay here and we will be back in March! Tha k you!

So close to the pier and the staff is amazing. The beds were comfortable, and i love they pillows are different in firmness so there ia always a pillow right for you

The hotel is centric very clean property excellent staff and very helpful at all times. Walking distance to all the famous pier 39, china town, little Italy, fisherman’s wharf , the cable cars…. It is at a great location and also walking distance to rental cars.

Great location for Fisherman’s Whart and Pier 39 and on and off bus.

Small but very nicely designed room. Ask for a high floor and you will have a nice view. Very clean and well maintained. Nice lobby with TV and place to hang out. Restaurant is expensive and not very good. There are so many better options nearby. Trader Joe’s is one block away. Try Boudin’s.

VERY GOOD HOTEL

The employees were amazing-especially Ben who went out of his way to make or stay great. He made a point to always great or 3yr old daughter and made sure she could push the elevator buttons and door buttons. When she got excited and ran into the door trying to say hi to him, he made sure to get her some s’mores to make sure she was ok.

The property was just average. Nothing exceptional. The room was small and had a window that looked out on a brick wall. Door staff was friendly front desk staff was not.

Lots of extra fees were added. The description did not include a $65 a night parking fee and this is not a resort there should not be additional fees. It is in a great location staff could’ve been friendlier the restaurant attached charged me $20 for a vodka drink, ridiculous

Great place. Really centric. Two blocks away from Fisherman’s Wharf. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was nice although it only has carpeted rooms which I do not like. But it was clean, so no huge deal. Nice patio area

The room was smaller than on previous stays. The mattress was lumpy and the bathroom was too small.

Loved our stay The only thing was having to pay $40.That we didn't ask for to get a $15 off.Room credit for room service and free hour.Bike ride that we've didn't use but other than that , it was really good

Really liked the room and the restaurant was decent too! But the $40 add on for ebikes is just ridiculous. Let people rent them if they like. That $40 also gave us a $15 food credit. So what. We didnt eat at the hotel every day, nor should anyone expect us to. I dont like getting gouged for extra money when i am already paying for the room.

Terrific location and staff! This property is located very close to the pier and many tourist attractions. The rooms could use an update, but overall comfy!

Nice location, but hidden fees

Loved our room but was blindsided by the "resort fees" $45 a day to get coffee in the lobby, smorse at night, and $15 credit at thier restaurant. That didn't even cover parking. Besides the hidden fees, tge actual property was nice and in a great location l.

S’mores and ambiance

It was a great little getaway for my cousins and aunt and I… the ambiance was great! We were making s’mores on the resorts community patio but it closed down a little early! (10pm) Otherwise it was perfect! We took our s’mores inside the lobby and finished cooking with the fireplace inside… it worked out really well.

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zoe as we were transmitting through San Fransisco for a night. The hotel is well located in Fisherman’s wharf which is one of the safer areas in the city. Room was clean with good facilities. Plenty of dining options available nearby. We were charged for taking from the minibar which was not the case, however was easily refunded from the hotel staff with minimal fuss. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Great location for sightseeing

Pros:Great location, close to Fisherman’s Wharf, tour pickup spots, cable cars, 7-11 store. Free morning coffee in the lounge and luggage storage was appreciated. Cons: Security deposit of $300 was processed on our account and was not returned for approx 10 days though we had been advised it would only be held as security.

Most rooms don’t have much view

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Especially the valet attendant who asked if we needed any directions as we were checking out. I would absolutely stay here again. The only little complaint I have is that there was no coffee maker in the room. I’m a little cranky without my first cup right away but that’s a me problem.

Overall, the stay was just fine. The rooms are incredibly small and for some reason I was put in an ADA room. The bed was OK to sleep in, I thought it was kinda strange that they didnt have a fitted sheet on the bed - just a top sheet to cover the mattress. The pillows were a little flat and the comforter was stiff and thin. The room was clean. Overall, I would rate this hotel a 6.5/10. Nothing special and very expensive.

Convenient and clean, but poor wifi and cold lobby. No hair dryer in room.

Girls Trip Success

My daughter and I flew in for a concert and then walked around the Pier area the next day. The hotel was perfect and safe. They kept our luggage safe for us the next day. It was a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zoe, the location is great, short walk to the waterfront and Fishermans Wharf. Very good service at check in and out. The courtyard was a great place to relax by the fire in the evening.
