Excellent hotel and friendly staff

Hotel Clarendon has become my new favorite hotel to stay at in old Quebec city. My room was gorgeous and very clean! The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Staff was very friendly, the room was turned over every day, no problems with cleanliness, and the location was fabulous - right in the centre of Old Quebec and walking distance from many great restaurants.

We loved our stay at Hotel Clarendon. The room was nice, and the service and location were excellent. Convenient to everything in Old Quebec. We will stay here again on our next trip to the city.

Beautifully decorated for the holidays

The location is in the center of everything. Close to about everything that we wanted to visit. The area is very walkable and close to bus stop too

First time to Quebec City, and couldn’t have selected a better hotel. Lovely building, great location, and fantastic amenities. The heated bathroom floor was exceptionally nice in the cold! Everything you want to see is a short walk from here. Will stay here again on our next trip.

My family and I traveled from Kingston, Ontario, and upon our arrival, the hotel staff ensured our check-in was seamless. The convenience of parking right in front of the hotel and having someone immediately assist with our car was a great touch. Our bags were promptly taken care of, and the check-in process was smooth and effortless. Throughout our stay, the team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, providing exceptional service every step of the way.

Great rate for a top notch hotel with beautiful rooms in a fabulous location. Just blocks from Chateau Fontaneau which was triple the price!

We saw staff frequently cleaning areas, keeping the place up. Our room was spacious and the room attendant was right on it in the morning, having our room made up by the time we went back up after breakfast. Parking, managed by valets, was extraordinarily easily. The seating area in front of the registration area was very comfortable. Meals were excellent. The hotel is located right there in the heart of old Quebec City.

Great location and a great place to stay staff was helpful

The hotel is near the castle, very close, opposite the town center. You can choose valet parking or self-parking. Self-parking is $18 each day. It is very convenient for eating and shopping, and it is also very close to the popular brunch restaurant, so you don't need to drive at all. The room we stayed in was not big, and we could only sit on the bed after opening the suitcase.

Fantastic location. If you have a car. You can do valet parking and visit the area around on foots.

Perfect location. Right next to the Frontenac with a great room for half the price. Then we walked over for dinner to Frontenac. Staff was super friendly. If we go to QC again we will stay here.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the City

What a pleasant surprise! This property is top notch with large rooms, bathrooms (heated floors and amazing showers). Staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. The air and heat work very well. Elevator is relatively fast. The hotel restaurant and bar is always lively with ample assortments. Location is convenient to anywhere in Old Quebec City. Literally steps away from the main tour meeting site and directly across the street from one of the Christmas markets. Plenty of shopping and restaurants surround the hotel. Save your money and stay here for an upscale and luxurious experience!

Nice for tourist visit

Great Location, restaurants and Xmas Market near by... the description on your web site says " Parking available" it should say " Valet Parking" which is probably twice the price or more that if you cross the street and park it yourself in a huge underground parking and walk for 3 minutes back to the hotel....

Perfect spot

Rooms are a pleasant surprise! We booked a room with 2 king beds and it was so spacious! Closet at entry for coats and shoes with slippers and robes, secondary wardrobe for additional storage. Our room had wet bar, microwave, dishes and utensils. Rooftop indoor pool and sauna, outdoor hot tub. Along route 747 so you can hop on bus direct from the airport - get off at Drummond. Only a few blocks from metro station which made it easy to get to Old Montreal. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.

Perfect location, excellent service

Lovely stay, amazing location right in the midst of Old Quebec and steps from tons of restaurants and all the tourist spots you want to go to. Really enjoyed the service, from the reception to the concierge. The room was really comfortable, nice beds, relatively quiet. Had a nice view of the church next door and looking out away from the courtyard which made it quite peaceful. Also had breakfast at their restaurant, Mordus, which was delicious and a decent price. Definitely will stay here again.

We enjoyed the convenient location for the Christmas Market. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was small but satisfied our needs. Our room was very modern and comfortable. We had a great stay in Quebec City.

Beautiful classic hotel in downtown Quebec with helpful friendly staff/ restaurant/ parking/ within walking distance of many of the sights & restaurants. Had a room facing out on the street with high ceilings & a comfortable bed. Some rooms face inward on a courtyard. Could be smaller? Overall a good spot for a sojourn in this historic charming city.

Our room was clean, well appointed, and had a view (which we requested). It was small for two people with luggage.

Tiny rooms but clean and comfortable. Great location, lots of restaurants and felt very safe. Breakfast is delicious at the hotel. Staff very helpful from check in to the concierge. Carl was delightful. The area is also quite beautiful but we where there in Fall so the colors were amazing... I would go back...

This is one of the best hotel stays in our wide travel experience. Service from every member of staff was excellent. The hotel was spotless with great beds, linen, pillows, etc. It is a five star hotel with a 3.5 star price. Location was unbeatable!

The decor needs to be changed. Black paint and black furniture and black head boards are unattractive. Cheap furniture in lobby looks bad.

Excellent accommodations and service.

We loved Hotel Clarendon because it was a classic older hotel in great condition, centrally located in Old Quebec, and very walkable to restaurants, shopping and all the beautiful sites of the old city. Most importantly, the staff was attentive, polite and helpful. I would stay there again - a much greater value than the Chateau Frontenac!

The Clarendon is wonderfully located in the center of old Town. The staff is amazing—super friendly and helpful. My stay there was comfortable in every way. Wonderful job by everyone involved!

It’s a great location to see it all in Quebec City. Valet parking is the way to go. For $34 a day it’s a bargain. Valets were friendly and helpful. Staff very good. All spoke English well. Never ate at the restaurant. Too many other options near by. Would definitely stay again.

The room was great, beds and pillows comfortable. Would have preferred pump soap rather than bar soap.

We had an excellent stay at the Clarendon. It is a comfortable classy hotel in Quebec City.

It is the city's oldest hotel, per our guide. Beautifully remodeled. Quiet elevators and rooms. Very close to the Frontenac, but doesn't have the same problems with crowds. The views from the upper floor windows are amazing.

This was a great hotel, fantastic staff and great spot, close to everything. Only had an issue with the Valet parking. Evening staff not fully aware of how the Valet works, but did not change our score, as everything was perfect.

Amazing place best location.

Such friendly staff, accommodating and pleasant. This hotel was a gem and we were in a corner room on the 6th floor, the Chateaux Frontenac was our night light. Close to everything in Old Quebec.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was top notch. The onsite restaurant was great and had many food options. The hotel is in the heart of the city, convenient to all. We will definitely be back.

My room with 2 queen beds was very nice and the hotel is lovely. You could walk to many, many shops, restaurants, and sites in the Old town area so from a convenience perspective it was great. One thing I didn’t care for were the pillows on the bed. They are super firm and high, so it was bothering my neck. I asked housekeeping if they had other flatter pillows and when I returned to my room, they were there. Perfect! Please keep in mind there is only valet parking which is a bit pricey.
