Poor Cleanliness and dishonest inn keeper
I ask the inn keeper for early check price. He quoted $30 but charged my card $60. I was told I would get reimbursed for $30 in a couple of days and has not happened. The hall rugs were filthy with no signs of rug shampoo in decades The rest room rod was hanging on its last screw and bath tub filthy when we got the room.
Dirty Room and squeaky bed.
The room was dirty curtains were torn and barely hanging from the rod, bathroom was dirty we were so tired or else we would of asked for a different room. The bed was so squeaky and uncomfortable.
Filthy place
When we arrived, they were not using my passport as I. D when we finally got in after paying cash and losing our money from Expedia. The room was so disgusting. I almost didn't stay, but I had already lost enough money through Expedia. And paying another deposit in room rent. So it cost me double to stay. There was no towels in the. Room, there was no remote for the TV and the cleanliness was just disgusting. Then
The room smelled like bleach. One bedspread was like a quilt. The other looked like a shower curtain. There was no toilet paper in the room. I spent one night because I'd been traveling all day. I went to another hotel for the rest of the week.

Worst place to stay didn’t even stay the night it was dirty and had a horrible smell. Went to ask for a different room and was in the same condition person at front desk told me I will be receiving refund until this day nothing. Save your money don’t stay here!!!
The carpets looked old and dingy. The number over my room was written in pencil.
This hotel needs to be reported to the health department for the filth and the condition of the building. To be honest the hotel honor is just making money off of people that can’t afford better.

It’s was awful I changed the hotel right away it’s was so insecure and dirty , the doors didn’t close , the restrooms was dirty and it’s was so awkward people over there a car even hit another car on purpose when we got there , and the marihuana smelled I can’t even explain, so disappointed

Sheets were dirty, loud noises from A.C. we couldn't sleep, rude staff/front desk. It wasn't time for check out 20 minutes before staff knocking on the door asking to check out.
TERRIBLE PLACE
(930pm) Soon as you walk by rooms smells like everyone is smoking weed. Front desk said the room was a brand-new renovated room. Wires hanging, no light over sink. Maintenance man was notified to fix smoke alarm. He never came back to replace battery so it stayed beeping and hanging (10pm). No office chair provided so we had to improvise with a laundry basket and towel just to sit down. Cable was down and HDMI was broken and bent in so couldn't connect PS4. Electric stove, we were told we could not use our own pots and pans and they had none to provide so we couldn't cook in kitchen. My daughter (7yrs) yelled sitting on toilet, seat was broken so she slid off. My wife turned on shower so she could bathe and water started to rise. It was clogged. Enough was enough we left from second floor carrying our heavy belongings since there was no cart available. My daughter's were overboard tired and my wife had work the next day and we had no idea where to go...
Bad experience with Red Roof.
We reserved a king size bed, but we got a queen size. I told the desk attendant it was a queen and he said it was a king. I asked tobco.e to the room and see for himself. He still insisted it was a king. The key he gave me did not work on the door. The room was close to the main entrance so he came and opened the door. I told him i needed the card to work. He said he would open it every time we needed to go in the room. My wife was in the room while i was with the attendant, when she was in the room she slipped and fell cause there was some kind of powder on the floor that made easy to slip. While with the attendant I asked him if he had another room, he said that was the last room he had. So he asked me if I wanted the stay to be cancelled and for 3 to 5 days for credit for the room. I was very disappointed with the service he provided. Had to look for another hotel close by for which I have a very good review for. Thank You.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! The rooms are dirty and in disrepair, the AC doesn’t work, TV doesn’t work and rooms are roach infested.The staff is rude and unknowledgable. There were at least 6 other guests that were having same issues as me when I was speaking with Mgr about my issues. The Mgr, Lupe, said there was nothing she could do and would not cancel and refund my booking even after speaking with Expedia Rep who authorized it. Mgr stated that the owner, Patel Properties, does not allow bookings to be cancelled before their 4 am room audit as it affects them negatively. Owners prefer to have Expedia refund the customer, so Mgr cannot process a refund in house. There is fraud going on with their business practices. One guest who arrived paid cash for his stay and after being given several unacceptable rooms, asked to cancel his booking and was told he would have to wait for refund to process thru business and they'd send him a refund check...he just handed them cash...why could they not cancel booking and return his cash???? Shady business, thats why. The entire property is filthy and in disrepair. The carpets throughout are disgusting, stained and smell of mold. THIS IS A DISHONEST BUSINESS. Mgr complained about staff being paid under the table and that's why their work is done so poorly and she is the one who gets blamed. She said to wait for Expedia to handle it for me. I have photos of room conditions & video of Mgr stating she could not cancel my booking and refund me
Not Family Friendly!
Room was not clean, pee stains on toilet, nasty white fluid on lamp, shower/tub falling apart with rust, and the entire floor smelled like a crack/weed house. Not family friendly AT ALL!

I’ve been to red roof hotels in New York City and this hotel is way below the standards of the hotel chain. The first day we checked in we were given a room that had a lot of dust and we had to do some dusting ourselves before settling in. Janitorial services picked up after a few days thanks to Jessica and her mom. The staff in general were courteous , friendly and responsive to our requests. This is not the Red Roof standards that I know and accustomed to. There is much room for improvement.
Scammers and a dirty area.
Sheets were stained, roaches in property inside and outside, doors dont deadbolt , found a recluse spider in my shower drain. Overall would not recommend. Place needs remodel and pest removal.
I didn't like that i had to go to the desk everyday to get my key recharged Also they didn't tell me that at check-in so for the first 2 days I climbed 3 flights of stairs before i found me key didn't work
Was not what we expected.
They gave us the wrong room. There was no fridge or kitchenette. The second room they gave us had terrible wiring problems. It took them two days to get us new sheets because they're cleaners leave before checkin they proceeded to forget to bring sheets and then blamed it on me.

Why advertise a kitchenette when you have no pots, pans, plates, cups, or utensils of any sort?!?! Also, no in-room coffeemaker. Very disappointed. This post-COVID policy of only weekly cleaning appalls me! I'm also embarrassed to have to beg for every roll of tp!

Stayed here for two nights to see the eclipse on April 8. Aside from ink stains, blood stains and other (?) stains on the sheets, we noticed damage on the walls and furniture all over the room and the curtain rod was bent down. There was a gap under the door and the walls were very thin, we could hear everything outside. We saw numerous bugs in the room and after my wife killed a roach that was it. There are a lot of hotels in San Antonio, stay somewhere else.

Don’t recommend!
Stayed for 2 months. No housekeeping, cockroaches, lots of broken stuff that they said were going to fix but never did, no hot water for over 2 weeks so we left early. Had to keep getting our card swiped every morning. This place is disgusting.
The water heater was broken so there was no hot water for 3 days. No one cleaned the room the week we were there. I had to go get towles from the front desk, there were none in the room. Windows open and there was no screen, on a second story room. The floors were sticky, and there were stains on the sheets. The whole hotel smelled like Marijuana.
The rooms are nothing like the advertised pictures & it sounded like someone was playing with my door
The WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
My rooms i booked were given away. Then they charged me more money for different rooms then after we checked in the room was dirty, no cable, no hot water, the following day when i got back to the room. Nobody cleaned my room and still no hot water. After i was told it would be fixed. And they kept lying to me. And even when i complained about my room not being cleaned. They said wait till the next day and once again no cleaned room. And the office doesn't care. I will never stay there ever. I guess before you check in go check and make sure everything works
Terrible stay
There was no hot water, when I mentioned the water …clerk said it’s been like that for several days. They didn’t mentioned that when we checked in, sheets on the bed had blood stains. We asked for extra towels and the said the laundry was closed, no effort to try to help. And the elevator was broken down !
I pull up and drove right off. People were fighting in the parking lot. Homeless people hanging around. Cats in people windows.

Nothing worked. Elevator broken. Soda machine broken. Water dispenser broken. Manual door lock broken. Bathtub stopper missing. TV broken. Front desk wouldn’t give 3rd towel for 3 people. Paint on sheets
The hotel had NO HOT WATER they could not move me rooms because they claim the booking doesn’t include hot water. Also DID NOT PROVIDE TOWELS!!!!
Cheap, but missing most basic amenities
The room was comfortable, but there was no weather stripping around the door so pollen and dust got in. I found two roaches in the room, one live and the other dead. There was an ironing board but no iron, there was no hair dryer, there was no coffee maker or coffee, the bathtub was gray when it should have been white, there was no hot water for the last three days, the Internet did not work, thank you to the Nissan dealership next door for having an open network I could use for work, the floors were dirty my feet and socks turned gray walking on the floors, the people next door were loud into the wee hours. The card key only worked once a day and then you had to get the front desk to recode it. On the plus side the bed was comfortable, the large refrigerator and freezer were nice as was the microwave. The front desk people were always very nice.
Would not recommend for family. Is manly for out of town working guys! The pictures are very deceiving not at all what we expected.

Disgusting Hotel
Waiting for 20 minutes to check in.I reserved 2 rooms 1st room was king bed got 2 queens, dirty sheets, dirt in shower, Floor was filthy SMELLED OF WEED. 2nd room the beds werent even made, wiped toilet with towel it was filthy.Hole in the wall.Gathered my stuff went another hotel paid addtl money but felt safe and clean Do not recommend unfortunately this reflects on Expedia

I arrived at night and the area seemed very sketchy and smelled heavily of Marijuana. There were no food places close by and nothing within walking distance. The room was clean, but there were roaches. I only stayed the first night out of 3.

Dirty , all around worse hotel experience ever
I picked this motel bc it was cheap and we were only planning to be in town for one night just to sleep and then visit with family the next day. Upon arrival, my fiancé told me he spotted many red flags around the parking lot and we hadn’t even checked in yet! When we actually got to the room, there were stains on the sheets and the tv didn’t work. When I called the front desk to tell them, it seemed like they picked up and hung up quickly. We tried to sleep, but after two hours we decided that wasn’t going to happen. There was so much foot traffic (if you know you know), people slamming doors and yelling, the smell of marijuana would waft into our room every few minutes which me very nauseous and my dog very anxious. That’s another thing. They say they are pet friendly, but the elevator was broken so we had to carry our elderly dog up the stairs and there very little grass for him to do his business. We stayed at this hotel for all of maybe 3 hours before we said it was enough. My fiancé went to the desk to try to get a refund, but he found the front desk guy asleep in the back room. I believe his response to our complaints was “and what? You should have said something in the first few minutes to get refund” so we left at 3am and found a much nicer place to stay.

They’re was no water, cockroaches all over the room, the blankets had blood stains, I asked for clean ones and they said they didn’t had the keys to get cleaned blankets. They didn’t had the room that I had reserved over a week, the room smelled like cigarettes, it has been the worst place I’ve ever stayed in
