Very nice hotel, excellent breakfast!

One and done

We asked for a crib and were given a broken playpen. When we asked for another, it never came. The walls outside our room were peeling and construction was occurring in the room next to ours. After we checked in to the hotel, none of the staff talked, greeted or provided any extra hospitality. Our room also had zero water bottles.

My experience was great! Everything was excellent everyday of my stay.

I loved the place very nice and clean the food was good but i had transportation and the gentlemen that took me was a very n8ce man and very help full i differently co.e see you all again i was very had with the transportation

Nice hotel. Complimentary breakfast is definitely a plus. Love the microwave and fridge in the room. Lots of space inside the room. Quiet and clean.

I didn’t like that i booked for a actual kitchen and the room only had a kitchenette

My teenage sons and I stayed here for a week at Christmas to attend the Christmas Day Houstons Game. I have many things to say so will start with the good. Most of the staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with the best potatoes and homemade salsa but does have little change, every day is the same. The pool is lovely and my boys enjoyed it. Now some of the bad. The front desk staff are constantly on their phones and when you ask them for help, they were usually attentive but just always standing there on their phones which I found very unprofessional. One staff member has to be mentioned and that is Talisha, she checked me out when we were leaving and was extremely snotty, she refused to take cash for my room charges because she said that a manager has to be present and there wasn't one standing there. She put those charges through without my consent on my credit card before I could have the option to pay cash and then told me that it would take days to reverse, doing this just so she did not have to deal with taking cash. While I had this interaction with her, she was constantly scrolling her phone right in front of me. Absolutely horrible customer service. This hotel has a shuttle driver that is supposed to be available to take people a distance of 3 miles but every single time we asked him to take us somewhere within those miles, he said no. This is not a service that the hotel should provide if you are not going to enforce it.

Great location and very dog-friendly

Was perfect dog-friendly location for a couple of nights in town to visit museums. Location is very convenient to the museum district as well as restaurants we had planned to go to in the Heights area and River Oaks areas. Also convenient, clean, potty area for dogs (they have large area w/ astroturf type surface and handy poop bags). Room had well appointed kitchenette. The only negative was there was no cold water-it was always very warm to hot. Would stay again.

Pretty good but not great

Hotel room was modern, large, and up to date. Check in was simple. Everything in the hotel room was spotless except for the sofa bed. It smelled like a dog… it’s a pet friendly hotel but did not expect it to smell like a dog. I made a comment to the front desk but they said I needed to schedule room cleaning and it would take 24 hours. Not a deal breaker but a little disappointing, luckily the room was large enough that the smell did not affect my family’s allergies. Not sure about the rave reviews about breakfast, it was like most hotels. Not great but good enough. Shuttle to MD Anderson was quick to be dropped off or picked up. Downside is shuttle is only available M-F. Would consider staying there again.

The best place to stay with family. Safe, clean, accessible to majority activities with kids! Absolutely loved it

Was close around where I was need to go

We enjoyed our stay, the staff was great, the morning buffet was good given you could also order off the menu too. I know other guests lost wheels in the garage which was awful.

Very close to VA hospital for business

Property is nice but not happy I had to move from room to room. I had 3 rooms in the 2 nights i was there due to the room i originally booked being given to someone else then I got placed in an accessible room with a shower and tub that were not comfortable to use and then had to get another room the following day. The frustrating part was having to take my luggage in and out of rooms and checking in and out.

Friendly shuffle drivers

The food was not good and very expensive. The front staff were not very friendly. The shuttle drivers were the highlight of the visit. We will not be back.

Excellent

This was our 4th stay at this hotel in the last year, and was the wordy out ofvthe four stays. Maids severslbtimes blasted AC so when we came back to room was an ice box. Took us hours to warm it backbup. Breakfast buffett was alwsys really good, but looks like they are trying to cut it back.

Nice place with free shuttle service

We like staying at this hotel whenever we are in that part of town. The room is clean and updated. The bed is comfortable and the restaurant offers an excellent breakfast.

I walked in and my name was on the TV saying welcome. I love it !!! I would definitely be back!!!! Everything from tge. Check in, to the room. To the elevator, to the pool. I love it all

Mattress sheets were dirty, fire sensor was flashing frequently preventing to sleep.

Good stsy

Great hotel for proximity to Texas medical center. Hard to walk to other locations though. Shuttle only runs during the week so you are stuck taking Uber. Restaurant didn’t open to 5pm so ver limited food options close to and at the hotel. Daily breakfast Buffet was good with plenty of options. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly.

Rude and "Care-Less" Customer Service

Check-in time is 3:00 right? My husband and I tried to chk in at 3:40, the registration person had a rude & care-less attitude telling me there were no rooms ready right now, would it be easier for me to come back later? My reply was NO, so I walked to car to let my husband know what had just happened. He went in got the same rude person and she told him the same thing, no room was available, but the Check-in person standing next to her over heard the conversation and pointed out that there is a room available, a king bed that we requested! My husband requested from her to speak with her manager's manager about her rude and unfriendly attitude and her whole demeanor changed. After getting into our room, I was washing my hands and the sink was filling up with water from extremely slow drainage. We had a hard time closing the bathroom door, it was hard and loud trying to close it each time. The breakfast was cold and tasteless - AWFUL! A hotel at this level has to do better and we deserve better.

Good stay…..

Good stay- good hotel. Had to switch rooms at first for a strong mildew smell but second room was much better! Staff was wonderful!!!!

Everyone was friendly great customer service.

This is our third or fourth time to choose this hotel for our family visits to Houston. The room is large and well equipped, clean and quiet. There was a huge group staying at the hotel but it was quiet and we slept well. The breakfast is always good with many choices.

We came in to town for a concert nearby. The hotel had self parking in the attached garage. At a charge of 15 dollars a day. Check in was quick and friendly. The hotel was quite clean and the room was very clean and fresh. I felt safe while staying.

Maintenance issues

Toilet in our first room wouldn't flush. Management came and tried to fix it and then moved us to a new room. New room toilet worked but the shower door kept sliding open. Check in wasn't great either because our room wasn't ready on time.

Everything we needed!

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel was quiet despite it being dog and kid friendly. Our room had everything we needed. It was super convenient for our trip to Texas Children’s Hospital and will be staying here again for our next trip to the hospital.

They get three stars because they charge $15.00 dollars a night for parking in addition to your room rate. Which is something they should make know during the booking process, not the last thing they tell you after checking in and getting your room key. There is not another parking option anywhere near the building so you are forced to pay the fee to use their parking garage. So whatever rate the are quoting you per night add $15.00 to it and then see if it’s still the best price.

Very nice hotel, great staff but you could hear the traffic noise.

Changed rooms twice due to marijuana smell and second smelled of mold. The third room was suitable. There was also a mix up of payment due to another customer with same last name and no one seems to be able to help with that!

Amazing free breakfast buffet with everything on it!!!!! Best I have ever seen for free. The bedding was either dirty or stained on one bed. Not sure if they wash the comforter after each guest, so if not that is why it was dirty at the top by your face.

Great staff

Second time to stay. The first was great, this one had issues. First no regular coffee Keurig cups in the room, I noticed this when checking in, and so went to the Front Desk. Second no shower gel in the shower, completely out. Third banging on our door at 8:30 for room service. We had a late night at the hospital. This seemed more like a Best Western than a Hilton property this time.

We were close to the event we were attending and the breakfast was great.

Perfect location for our visits to MD Anderson, loved being able to use the shuttle.

My stay was terrible there was off and on hot water for the shower and the bathroom door broke and I was locked in the bathroom for a long period of time before someone could come and let me out. I was very disappointed with my stay.

I loved every aspect

Great, clean, new, and well-located!

Super helpful front desk folks, nice parking structure attached to the back, and a pretty new and very clean and comfy building and room. It's pretty close to the highway so it's easy to drive from there to lots of stuff in the area, but a really short drive to the Med Center, Hermann Park, the Museum District, and Rice University.

Shuttle is a bonus!

Victor who drives the shuttle is kind and compassionate with those of us going for medical appointments. I appreciate his commitment to providing excellent service. The hotel is clean and convenient. This was my third stay-

Pleasant stay

We were only there for a night, but we had a great stay. There were things to do for our kids and we enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the restaurant.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Food was very good - ate complimentary breakfast and had dinner in restaurant teice.

It has a very nice fitness center, food is good enough so you don't feel you have to eat out. Rooms are nicely done for those for extended stays.

First time I had stayed at this particular hotel and the rooms were very nice. Loved the layout of room.

I had made a reservation letting the place know how many people would be staying and my room was still not set up for our arrival. When we contacted the front desk they said they wouldn’t bring us the missing items till the next morning. Morning came and they still didn’t arrive so we asked at the desk & they wouldn’t give the needed items to us, they said they had to bring it to us.

Nice

This place was very nice easy checkin .We were on the 9th floor nice view and quiet.Had a shuttle to take you to NRG arena that was great .The only part I didn’t like was the sheets were worn had beads on them made my husband help me flip the sheets to the back side that was much better and the AC was noisy maid a bumping noise but it was ok for one night.

Only 5 minutes from a medical appointment

Hotel was clean and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was well worth the price and it’s great for a walk on the trails by the room.

The staff was extremely helpful and very kind. Great location and a very nice, spacious and comfortable room for a multi-night stay.

CLEAN AND CONFORT

Super good location, clean and great breakfast. All you need for a confortable vist to museums or Healt reasons, it is close to the medical area as well.

The room was nice, breakfast buffet was good. Only real issue was the price for dinner in the restaurant. The food we had for dinner was good but in my opinion over priced. It was $21 for the cheeseburger with fries.

Clean and nice staff

Not a good stay.

I reserved an accessible room but when I got there I was informed that none were available. They said because I booked through a “third party” instead of directly with Hilton that I booked a room when none were actually available. When asked they did provide a portable shower seat. They were very rude when I expressed my displeasure with the situation. I was kind and respectful, but they were not. They acted like my reservation was not a priority to them since it was not booked directly with Hilton. Basically they said I was lucky they had another room to accommodate the reservation eventhough it was not accessible. They also tried to use the situation to offer me the “opportunity” to become a member of their rewards program. The property was also dirty this time with cigarette butts in the area right outside the entrances, and trash in common area and hallways. The breakfast was stale, hard pastries. Just a disappointment all the way around.

Likes: Staff was awesome, very helpful and friendly. Food was great. Dislikes: No water pressure and housekeeping did not show on requested days. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Pet allergies Beware

This is a pet friendly hotel and pet owners are catered to. However, if you have pet allergies BeWare!! We were put in a pet friendly room and my allergies went crazy. So be sure to ask for a room where pets have not been. It is a lovely hotel and a nice environment whether you bring your pets or not. The location is great if you need access to the Medical Center.

Close and Comfortable

We needed to be close to the medical center for dental procedures and lived about 1.5 hours north of the area. Getting a hotel close by was a brilliant choice. We saved lots of gas and traffic stress by staying here. It was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast was excellent. It was also immaculate and the personnel were kind and efficient. We will be back!!

Great property - love staying here!!

I absolutely LOVE the staff here. They're kind, accommodating, and personable. The breakfast that they offer is also fantastic.

This is near MD Anderson. It has breakfast and pay breakfast for special ordering. It has dinner it’s expensive. Has bar. Check in and out easy. Shuttle to MD Anderson available. Parking 15$ a day no matter we’re you park on hotel property. They have two spaces in front of hotel that is handicapped need more. Less15 minute hotel registers only parking. Cleaning people don’t speak English. If you want something call the desk and ask for it. They clean when you ask not on everyday unless you request it. The pillows are alternative filling so mushy. The chairs at the table are hard plastic with knob bumps on them. Sit on a pillow put towel over it an it works. Desk chair hydraulic is shot it goes down. Tv is kind of hard to know. Click round bottom at top. The click left arrow to entertainment. Click ok. Click down arrow twice to live tv. Press ok. It gives guide in alphabetical order. Be careful it’s touchy as you are clicking down the guide channel selection it will stop at one. Go back to the guide by simply clicking up arrow. If you get a no signal pretty painting picture on the tv you have to call down for instructions on how to plug and unplug box. Yep just to watch tv. The bathroom is fine except the shower it has glass doors hard to get in and out of with no real safety bars they have one on the other side on the shower wall. Tiny quarter shaped shelves for shampoo and soap on. Shower head gets pointed to wall if you can reach turn it before shower head might come off.

Unkempt

My stay overall was fine because I only stayed for one night but when I walked in, the bed was not made up and there were towels on the ground from the previous people that were there.

Great family property! Comfy beds, convenient and safe location. Really close to zoo and childrens museum. Safe covered parking offered for extra cost but worth it. Overall great hotel!
