We booked this stay through hotels.com. we booked and prepaid for a king room with walk in shower because my husband has a disability and cannot step into a tub. Instead of that room we were given a double queen room with a tub. When my husband requested to be changed to a walk in shower he was told that they couldn't do that. We should have been notified either by hotels.com or the hotel itself that what we requested was not available. This was a huge inconvenience because my husband was ubable to shower the whole weekend.

Very good service from the welcoming to the restaurant and bar. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned and spotless. We had a very good weekend very comfortable and drinks were so good.

The hotel was very nice and clean! The front desk employee also recommended my family a good restaurant to eat. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at a nice hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Two cars were broken into last night

Great service. The entire staff was so helpful. It’s located near EVERYTHING!!

The hotel was clean, and quiet. However the parking area was small. The back parking area had Big Trash Bins for construction in the way. There wasn't a sign in the back that directed you to the entrance of the building through the back parking area. Otherwise the stay way great!

They overcharged me almost $300 for a room that had a strong smoke odor, even though I had requested a room change due to the smell.

One of the best hotels I’ve visited! They have a nice bar and the bartender is one of the best I’ve met Tim, he’s great! The rooms have everything you need including microwaves and mini fridge. Friendly staff!

I booked the room through Hotels.com. I checked in, got the room keys, and put $20.00 down for incidentals. The next morning, they tried to enter the room, said we were a no show, and that we hadn’t paid. After several minutes and getting the manager involved, it was resolved.

The room was okay condition. There was old French fries under chair, curtains were falling apart, other then that very comfortable.

The staff were very nice. However, the bathroom lighting was very bad, there was no shower soap, and the sink leaked.

Staff was amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. They did what they could with the fact that they were under staffed. Hotel was a bit run down but that’s the corporation’s fault, along with the short staff and most likely underpaid employees.

Great staff. Clean rooms. Only real complaint is the shower which only was capable of cold and colder and had no labeling and two levers.

The property is very nice and well maintained. It's in a great location with plenty of shopping centers, theatres, and restaurants. The manager, Kevin-something, immediately emailed me after booking the room and when I asked a question (via email), he immediately responded back. Great job there! Also, the front-desk staff here was very friendly and eager to help when any issue arose. We had no issues getting help when we needed it. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. We were able to hook up our computer to the TV and watch YouTube/Amazon. We were also able to use DoorDash to get food delivered straight to our door. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The breakfast buffet was pretty good too (delicious Huevos Rancheros). My only advice when staying here is to bring your own soap and shampoo/conditioner. The ones provided by the hotel are a bit rough on the skin. But that's par for the course for many hotels. The only issues we had were 1) expensive breakfast, $13 per-day/per-person, 2) no full size fridge and/or freezer - only a mini fridge, and 3) it takes a several minutes for hot water to start coming out of the shower. These were minor issues for me. Otherwise, it was a fantastic places to stay.

Our stay was fine, we had no issues other than loud music coming from the bar across the parking lot late into the night.

Everything was great for a prepaid 1 night stay, except for checkout. Upon check out, the associate could not find me in the system. It appears they never checked me in, even thou i filled a hand written form and placed a 20 dollar incidental fee, amd was issued a room and a electronic door key.

The police where called three times to this location, The room smell musty or like wet dog, we went to the bar for a drink the bar was sticky and the bar tender wiped the bar with a dirty rag that smelled like vomit, The breakfast buffet was the worst we have ever had the eggs were cold the sausage was a white grey color.

The employee in the reception was super rude and not welcoming at all. I was going to extend my stay another night. I think I will go to another hotel instead

The nerve to send this request for feedback when our room was given away and we were left without a room to stay in the night before a wedding. We weren't even offered the courtesy of helping us find another accommodation for the night. Truly a disappointing experience that has soured our opinion of this hotel brand. Our reservation was given away without notice. Will never stay at this hotel.

We are used to booking Holiday Inn Express with our breakfast included, but that was not the case at this location. Happy hour was 5-7 but that section was closed. When we got into our room, there was a smell of pee. It was so strong that I sprayed quite a bit of my perfume. My husband asked me to let staff know but we were there to visit family so we weren’t going to be in there for too long. Overall, we were disappointed with this location because we’ve never had an issue with this chain. We just won’t return to this particular location. Thank you.

Nice hotel close to food and the city

I loved everything about the hotel and my four-day stay with my parents for a relaxing vacation. It's a quiet area with a great breakfast option and amenities. I paid for the morning buffet and it was worth it with homemade salsa in molcajete which is way better than store-bought salsa. Staff were all attentive to our needs when we requested it and everything smelled great and clean. Check-in and check out were both very smooth and hassle free. I highly recommend it for its location as well; it's 30 minutes away from Guadalupe River state park and 5 minutes away from shopping centers and plazas. I loved it and have now found my favorite San Antonio hotel.

The hotel was overall good for the price. It’s actually better than the pictures online. It’s clean. The only issue I had was the pub close by. I’m a light sleeper. So I could the hear the music.

The location was great. The breakfast was not included and it was $26.00 for 2. Everything was cold not many choices. And almost all of the items offered sucked not worth $10.00 the cereal and orange juice was great.

The rooms were very big but awkwardly furnished. The bed was so far from the TV it was hard to watch. It was conveniently located close to USCIS and that was the only reason we stayed there ahead of my early morning interview. I felt it was a little expensive for what the property offered.

Holiday Inn on Redland Rd in San Antonio is a great property and a real bargain. There is an on site restaurant and bar which is very convenient.

Overall the place was good. I had a problem with getting a remote for the tv in the gym area. I requested a remote and was given the wrong remote. When I returned the remote I was given an other, that did not work. It did not have batteries. When I returned the remote to the front desk and requested batteries I was told none were available and that they would find some and take them to the gym. I was there for about 45 and never recieved the batteries.

I stayed there twice. I found that the front desk staff is very hard to find after 10PM. I also was not able to get a hole of any staff at the resturant during working hours (evening hours). I had to chase both front desk and restaurant staff during both of my stays.
