Won’t consider this place.
The coffee was cold and the tops didn’t fit the cups. Breakfast was missing some dishes and it took a while to cook more. I skipped breakfast in the end. The room was ok.
Great beds
Great location to airport.
Everything good excellent.
Very pleased with this hotel Will definitely stay again Clean, close to airport, dining was excellent
Exception stay due to exceptional staff.
My stay was exceptional.
Great stay
The room was very clean and smelled good. Up to date fixtures and plenty of linen. Went to the front desk for bedding for the pull out and was accommodated immediately.
Good hotel near airport
Stay was good. I enjoyed it. But the room had stains on the floors in the bathroom was not clean on the floors. I did get sick eating in the café, which was not good.
Small term gain can lead to long term loss
It was confirmed by the hotel staff that the restaurant will be open until 11.00 PM. I arrived at 9.30 and the restaurant had already closed. Why is this hotel claiming to have a restaurant on premises Same thing in the morning. I had to take the 6.30 shuttle and went for breakfast that I paid for but the restaurant doors were locked
Always close, quiet and clean near airport
It was a short layover stay and it’s close to the airport making it a short quick trip to catch our flight.
The location was great and the check in process was smooth with a very friendly and helpful staff. The room itself…the bed was terrible. It was so soft and lumpy. A person without back issues would have them after that bed! It made for a very uncomfortable night.
There is no water boiler in the room.

Don’t stay here
Top Staff in the industry. Great hotel!
Absolutely top marks to every member of your team. The kindness you’ve shown along with professionalism you should all be assured that you are top notch in the hotel industry. My background in travel & tourism is corporate and you guys are five star for the service you provide. Thank you so very much.
Simple spacious room. Just what we needed before a night of travel. Well lit parking lot. Great staff!
Front desk staff could sometime be inpatient when you call to find out information.
Comfortable and functional
Hotel was fine. Room was very comfortable and functional. Parking and ease of access to the property were issues. Not major issues, but minor inconveniences.
The restaurant
Convenient
Things were dated. Room was clean but needed upgrading. Front desk staff very nice and professional.
Nice to have shuttle to the airport.
Availability and quiet comfortable and affordable!
I waited almost an hour for the shuttle which never came. I ended up having to take an Uber car to get to the hotel. Very very sad when it was late and I had another flight out in the morning. Because of the shuttle problem, I took another uber in the morning to get to the airport.
Muy bien ubicado y tiene muy bien restaurante y mucha seguridad
Desk staff rued, restaurant service pitifully.
A night stop was very adequate.
I reserved two rooms. Me and my family stayed in 409, the bathroom had no commodities (small shampoo, conditioner, lotion) there was hair in the sink and bathtub. The toilet looked as if it was not cleaned all the way. We only recieved 1 towel. There were stains on the seating area under the mirror. Room 407 had 2 towels and Commodities and was cleaned way better than 409. I have stayed at this hotel several times and never had issues. Disappointed.
Night shift was extraordinary helpful. She was quick and very nice. Very appropriate. I would go back there at anytime
Comfortable bed, lousy hotel
Upon arrival, hotel lobby was FILLED with drunk male guests. My 17 year old daughter and I were traveling alone and felt extremely vulnerable. The line for checkin was long and people kept cutting, known to the attendants, and nothing was said. The place was dirty & the hallway to our room was eery. Had we not been in a pinch to rest before our am flight, we would have left. That being said, once in our room, we felt safer and the bed was surprisingly comfortable! Ok room, nice bed, gross atmosphere.
The resturant connected is nice addition
Excellent service, transportation Excellent location Clean
Beds were very comfortable. Restaurant staff was very accommodating for our late night arrival. Our room had trash on the floor, behind a chair, and in a drawer from prior guests. Restrooms downstairs only had 1 stall with toilet paper and one of the toilets was running constantly and “bubbling”. Pool was out of commission for maintenance or something. Lady at the front desk in the morning was not very friendly.
Close to airport, convenient shuttle. Clean but older hotel. Friendly staff
There was no room available when i get there
Cool a/c. A musty smell. The people checking me told me to stand to the side at 3 pm because they weren’t ready. I complied. 40 minutes later. There’s a group of people. They aren’t really communicating what’s going on.
When I walked in there was 30 ppl waiting to check in, but they moved fast ! And was really organized. My tv wouldn’t turn on, but Jose the electrician went out of his way to fix it !! TWICE !!! Everyone is super friendly! From olis in check in to the workers at the restaurant! Everyone is extremely nice !! We didn’t have power and came here for two days to cold down !! I would give it 100 stars if I could !!
Reservation cancelled by Hotel
The hotel cancelled my reservation and did not have the decency to inform me. I will never use Holiday Inn again. Sleeping in our car at the airport.
The cleaners are few and rooms not cleaned
We arrived at 3:30pm, and there was total caos in the Hotel, we saw cops in the aisle. The vibe wasn't very friendly. We got our room key / card and whenever we arrived to our room, there was someone else in there. We went to talk to the hotel manager and they gave us another room, two hours later someone was trying to get into our room.... That's why I gave such a bad review to this Hotel.
Old hotel, needs updating
Manager made the impossible to get me a room, Thx!
Check in was quick and easy
We made the reservation on Expedia but when we arrived the power was out and we were told there’s no running water, no electricity to even charge our phones. Expedia says no refunds if I cancel or arrive late but nothing about the obligation of the hotel. This blows, I’ll skip Expedia next time
Will not stay here again
We will not stay here again. This was our third time staying here. Check in was fairly smooth and we were placed on the 5th floor. When we opened the elevator and entered the hall there was a strong smell of paint. Sure enough, some workers were on that floor painting. It was also pretty warm on the floor and the AC had a time cooling our room…. And then the electricity went out for a couple hours. Another guest said the electricity went out for 8 hours the day before. When we turned down the bed the sheets had mascara and blood on them. Gross. And there was a blood stain on the couch cushion. It was as if the room had not been cleaned after the previous guest. The toilet didn’t flush well and smelled of old urine. The water that came from the sink faucet was extremely cloudy and dirty. Water pressure was really low too. We were really disappointed in our stay and will look elsewhere for lodging the next time we fly out of Houston.
Exceded expectations.
The hotel is clean and located close to the highway and airport. Mos of the staff is friendly and looking to help. Nevertheless I had a bad experience with a shuttle young driver, he parked blocking the way out in front of the lobby, when I gently asked him to move the van so me and other persons could leave we walked out took a look and just reply to me, " you can go that way" which is narrowed way in. I considered this a lack of interest on your guests safety and service attitude.
Property was very nice
Very clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Definitely stay
We arrived after getting off our cruise in Galveston. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and we were able to check in early. Beds were super comfy and rooms were clean
I appreciated The Office/Front Desk Clerk Paige she helped me even when Expedia had my Reservations wrong, Kudos to Paige.
Nice hotel for early air fryer
Stains in tub and not very clean…stuff was helpful & kind.
Downstairs level going towards the pool, smelled like cigarettes & was quite noisy like a party going on & pool area chairs were all dirty & you couldn’t sit anywhere unless you used a towel to sit on.
Loud traffic
Great stay, I would book it again!
It’s an older hotel could use some upgrades toilet wasn’t working so good. Service was fine
The front desk staff were excellent and friendly. That was the only positive. We experienced delays and cancellation with overnight flights, and needed these rooms at the last minute at 3 AM due to exhaustion. The rooms had a terrible odor, I couldn’t tell if it was chemical or mold, but it was overpowering and gave us a headache. The restaurant staff for breakfast were extremely rude. My group had two rooms and two vouchers for breakfast each for two people, but she was argumentative about us wanting three meals, although we were entitled to four. My 13-year-old daughter was wearing socks to the breakfast buffet, and the waitress waited until after we had our plates and sat down to eat. She came over and insisted my daughter could not finish her meal unless she went back to the room and put shoes on. my daughter went all the way to the fourth floor, but our other guest had locked the security lock so she couldn’t get in to get her shoes. She came back, and I insisted that the waitress allow her to eat her food and we would leave right after. The waitress demanded our room number because her “manager” needs to know. I refused to give it to her, it wasn’t necessary. She kept asking and I finally told her if the manager needs our room numbers, he/she can come ask for them. We ate quickly and left.
The sheets were dirty, hair on them.
Very friendly and helpful staff
The property is old. I have less towels. The towels were very old and needed to be changed. The hallway carpet is old... .suttle service driver was not friendly. I waited over one hour but the shuttle didn't come to the airport.. is very sad you paid over 100 dollars for a hotel that you cannot enjoy or feel comfortable in.....sad
We had a lot of people checking in all at once from the shuttle. Though there was a wait, the front desk staff was efficient in getting us checked in. I liked that the hotel had a shuttle and wasn't far from the airport. The hotel should replace the filter in the water fountain in the gym, though.
We booked last minute due to airline flights being cancelled. Staff was swamped but I couldn't have been more impressed with the professional additude and compassion
Friends, helpful, eager to serve.
Great spacious room with comfortable beds and pillows. Only negative was asked for the room to be cleaned, and when I arrived back, it was not.
The room they gave me was not cleaned from the previous hotel guests. All I asked for was fresh towels and after waiting for an hour, I went and sought out the towels myself at the front desk.
The check-in was disorganized as staff debated where to place me and the first room the door would not open even when the green light came on... the second room had no hot water for my shower and the third room was not much better. I was moved 3 times in 3-day stay. Onsite restaurant staff were excellent and food was very tasty. Shuttle did not run in time for my 5 a.m. departure had to order Uber.
Restaurant was nice.
Overnight In Houston
Being close to the airport was a plus.
Will stay there again
Property needs an upgrade
Ony regret is that the shuttle didn't run as consistently as other locations. Otherwise great stay. Tank, at the front desk was exceptionally helpful.
Hotel was clean and comfortable, beds were very comfy. Hotel staff, particularly "Tank," went above and beyond to be helpful. The shuttle doesn't run with the same 24-hour frequency as other Holiday Inns, so I just rode with Lyft. Overall, great stay.
Convenient to the airport and the shuttle service was excellent. Nice to have the restaurant at the hotel. Food and service there were excellent. Rooms and hallways could use some updating but the hotel lobby was quite inviting. The tiny, thin bars of soap were the pits. Not hardly big enough to hold on to. Seemed rather chintzy.
Nice and clean.
Water was not working, no shower and no toilet … they didn’t give us breakfast we paid for..and it smells awful in there
Water didn’t work, no shower, no toilet, no breakfast that I paid for.. had no o take a shower in another room.
Property needs attention
Upon entering the room, there was a very strong odor of mothballs. Stayed here 3 weeks before and none of the icemakers were working. Disappointed to find that none were working, yet, and one of the elevators is now out of service. The second elevator seemed to be struggling, too. I had to give a lower rating this time due to the fact that between the two visits it just appears that the property is being allowed to decline.
Enjoyed my stay would definitely stay again only down fall was the bathroom lighting was very dim.
The grounds were a bit grubby. Bottles and cigarette butts. Restaurant staff were outstanding. Food was surprisingly good, and affordable.
The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was noisy. There was no coffee maker and I had to call twice (12 am and 7 am) to get one. There was no toothbrush or comb or deodorant (I was stranded here by United Airlines and not given my luggage) and even though someone was bringing up the coffee maker, I had to go down to the lobby to get those. The hotel is large and I was put all the way in the back, so it was about 1/8 of a mile walk. The restaurant was closed and there are no restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance.
When we were parking an suv had a window busted out and it had just happened. Maybe should invest in security
It was clean and quiet.
shower water is too little. there are no shampo. expensive for this condition.
All is great
The staff was very courteous during the check in process, but the condition of the room was a bit dirty, as well as the hallways to the rooms.
From start to finish our 1 night stay pre cruise from Galveston was very enjoyable. Airport shuttle was convenient. The adjoining restaurant was great for dinner & breakfast.
Room was clean and comfortable. Airport shuttle bus never arrived at airport after a one hour wait. Had to get an Uber at an additional $25 cost.
Shuttle to airport service was excellent Bath was horrific all scratched
Close to airport. Newly remodeled.
The staff was friendly..the tub was filthy..no room service and no free breakfast like CheapTickets stated
A lady staff member house cleaner, went above and beyond to help me get ice, and the maintenance man who helped with A/C was an absolute gem. The bar guy was very kind and overall I was very impressed .
Got stuck at Newark. Not able to get my room A disaster trip
Short stay, but staff was extremely helpful and kind and checked me in early, as well. The room was clean and spacious. Everything was great!
Airport transportation was super easy, staff very friendly, beds very nice and comfortable.
We really enjoyed the sports area. Nice basketball court and volleyball are. Great stay for family or sports teams! There’s a restaurant located in the hotel which is very convenient
I checked in at 6am and they allowed me to get my room
You can stay there one night. Don’t use the shower. Don’t let them move you from room to room. I ended up in one about a km from the lobby

Need text option
We were placed under incredibly noisy guests. There needs to be a way to notify the front desk in the middle of the night without making a loud phone call or going down. Other hotels let you text the front desk. We would appreciate this option as well.
