High rated hotel but the can improve food quality.

We had a great time during our 7-day stay at Hard Rock Punta Cana. I thought the staff was excellent across the board. Eating at The Market was very convenient. The only thing that was annoying was how loud the music was and how chilly the air conditioning was in the main building with all the restaurants and shops. Overall, though, I thought the grounds, facilities, and staff were wonderful.

Very beautiful place with great employees and nice facilities. Only complaint is the check in and check out process. Very long and unnecessary. Not sure why this problem is not getting addressed.

Place is amazing! The service was good, food is ok

Pros: Nice size rooms, recently renovated, a lot of activities to do in the property, big beach area and a lot of pools to hangout. Cons: artificial juice at breakfast, try to sell you a share time, bad food in pool areas, average dinner food. Long waiting for dinner restaurant. Average service Verdict: You will have fun but the best food and service is not there.

The trams make it easy to get around or you can walk for exercise but waking gets old after a while. We actually preferred being up near the main restaurants and shops area because that’s where most of the stuff is. Lots of food everywhere including food trucks all around the beach and water park. Staff always says hola to everyone and keep the grounds clean and neat. Also, bring your nice outfits because at night you’ll feel underdressed with just a tshirt and shorts as guest take it up a notch. Yes I would go again

I liked the different pools for the kids . They said we were going to get some benefits but were never received

Good place to stay

The staff was not friendly. We were on spring break and I feel like we were not treated as well as people who were older or with families. There were instances where we were denied certain drinks or were told things weren't available. There was one time when we requested a shot and were told we couldn't have it. We saw other people being served shots. We also had a waitress at the steak restaurant that after she took our order, we never saw her again. The resort is beautiful but not return due to the unfriendly staff

Great property but check in an out was not good. Check in lobby had loud music and couldn’t hear anything. They were only interested in selling us a membership. Place is huge and no briefing on the trolley system which would have helped greatly. Was not told that we needed a ticket to check out and give the bellman before they would let you leave. Almost didn’t make our transport to the airport because we had to wait in line for this ticket. Also would not let in one of our excursion drivers because they didn’t pay the front gate for access. Other than that, it was great.

Excellent family holiday!

We loved our stay here. Our whole family enjoyed the food overall - some was hit or miss but overall very good. Recommend Ipanema, Zen, Toro and Los Gallos restaurants and the food at the market was generally very good. Service was prompt and friendly with staff eager to help. The beach was nice but water was very challenging (impossible) to swim in with the currents.

Rooms were nice. Cleaned daily. Lots of choices for pools and meals. Staff was very friendly.

Clean, friendly and safe. Good drinks with ok food. Very large and pools were packed. Needed to get out by 7:30am to get a pool chair you want...if not..no chairs by 10am.

Great resort. Lots to do, good food, good drink. Lots of activities to keep the kids busy and having a kids club the kids wanted to be dropped off at was great.

Property was beautiful and clean. The staff was awesome.

Was honestly looking forward to a great long weekend, vacation ! I couldn’t reach anyone at the front desk to get extra blankets for the pullout couch on the first two nights.. then there was a terrible mold, smell coming out of the AC system and every night that I spent in the room I would wake up with a crazy throat ache… I would leave the room and everything would be fine. There was mould all the way around the shower and they even folded my towels that I had left on the floor for change up and put them back.

The resort is very Nice. I hadn’t problem with then. There some points that can be improcedente. Cleaning —> pool restroom Needs to be improved.

Everything is close and just a bit of a walk which is nice. I like to stretch my legs and move around.

Every about this place is fabulous nonetheless the resort food is horrible I ate fruits n veg for five day

Best resort all inclusive in Punta Cana

Excellent amenities and great service.

The resort needs an update, lots of little issues here and there. Resort was overall nice, but there was a significant issue with wait times for drinks and for restaurants. The Legendary Vacation Club sales tactics were atrocious. Pressure was ridiculous. Our room was a Rock Family suite and the air conditioning went out for a couple of days, totally not expecting that.

Went here with my 5 best friends from college- we are all 19 or 20, had the best time ever. best staff, so much to do, overall amazing. no complaints.

I’ve stayed at the Hard Rock in numerous countries and states and this has to be the worst. The food was horrible which is understandable since they have to feed thousands of people on a daily, but do not reheat leftovers or add water to drinks in front of consumers. The rooms were not cleaned properly at all!! Found hair throughout the room as well as the shower.

Lots to do. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

I think it had lot great things to do and the tube outside is nice touch. I do believe they don’t clean everything good, example: they would come “clean” everyday but the sink and the mirrors and the tube outside had same water stains the whole week. The elevators were not working at all in my building. Come to find out most buildings were like that and to get to the main lobby you need to take the stairs. The time we went the elevator to go up was broken so maybe it’s not as wheelchair accessible which is a bit sad. As I do have a sister who is disabled and if we would took her on this trip it would just been a workout and very unpleasant. Other than that I did have a good time and don’t listen to everyone. There isn’t lot free things to do there you have to pay for the bowling, or to go to one of there clubs, Laser tag etc. you can still have a good time though if you are with the right people!

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The positives: The beach area is beautiful, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The negatives: The noise level was too much—there were crowds everywhere. The area with restaurants and shops felt more like a cold, dark, and unwelcoming mall than a relaxing resort. The food was shocking, with basically the same dishes served across every restaurant. It was impossible to book a restaurant or a reasonable dining time, and the food at the Zen restaurant, advertised as sushi, turned out to be just Cantonese rice with meat options. We grew really tired of the repetitive food and constant queuing. The staff were consistently unhelpful and grumpy, which was very disappointing. I had an especially poor experience at the Posh salon, where I had a manicure and pedicure. Not only was I charged more than expected for a bad mani/pedi but to make matters worse, I developed an infection from the pedicure. To top it off, I booked during Black Friday, taking advantage of a promotion that included a $200 daily resort credit. However, this was not honoured at checkout. The staff dismissed my concerns very rudely and just decided to stop talking entirely (Emmanuel and Genesis) and I was forced to pay the full amount. I escalated the issue to Expedia, but they acknowledged the problem and ultimately provided no support, closing the case without further action. This hotel is entirely overpriced and they are much better option out there.

Great stay, family friendly resort

It was nearly impossible to get into the restaurants that require reservations as they were booked before we checked in. You need to make reservations before you arrive. Room service food is not great. But overall experience is SPECTACULAR

Had high expectations but was poorly disappointed. 1. the door sensor to our room stopped working and had to wait next to the door for 1.5 hours before someone came to fix it, even after multiple trips and phone calls to the front desk. 2. there were way too many golf carts/buses/trains for transportation. They were ignorant and rude to walkers. Majority did not have lights or use horns to alert they were there. Multiple times almost getting hit, especially around corners. 3. food options were pathetic when on the beach/campus. Hardly anywhere to eat except the main building. (Although main building food was all phenomenal). Not to mention there was not a single ice cream/dessert truck on the beach/pools. Couldn’t even get fruit. 4. there was lack of lighting at night. It was so dark, pitiful lighting on the paths which did not make us feel safe to walk at night. 5. disliked the pool hours. They open very late morning and close very early evening. Typically 10-5, meanwhile sun rises at 7 am and sets at 6:30 pm in Feb. Poor overall experience, would not stay again.

Great hotel the food excellent and the staff was great the staff make our vacation the best

It is a great place for families with lots to do for the kids and grandkids. The water park and the beach are 2 of the many highlights

Great pools, ok food.

The pools for the kids were fantastic. Lots of different slides in addition to shall parts for toddlers. The pools also never felt crowded even though I believe the resort was sold out. The staff was extremely friendly, every single one of them. The only drawback is the food is just ok. I also wish there was a chicken fingers option in the food trucks and buffets (all of the time). There were also several occasions in the buffets where the food was cold even though they were new trays. I would have also liked an option for a second show time - the only show each night is 9pm and that was too late for my kids (4 and 2).

Everything perfect except staff not helpful at all for lost luggage; would not assist and had to liaise with airport on own to arrange bag delivery.

The property is clean and safe and offer a variety of things to do.

Enjoyable experience with lots to do. Expansive property to explore with good food. Sales pitch upon arrival was incredibly irritating and a bad start. Failed to pick up luggage for checkout so I had to hoof it myself.

Property was good. No “latin” bars. Club played house music and another bar played American music. Did not like the fact that some of the reps seemed more like sales people. They tried to sell me stays when I arrived and also as soon as I checked out.

Rude staff

A lot of different areas, multiple pools beautiful long walks great place

The lights attached to our bed faulty anytime you bump the headboard. One of the lights will turn on the fridge in our room smelled so bad like vomit although some staff was friendly some were rude and not helpful. The property wasn’t well kept, there was trash in the pond, in the sand at the beach. We got to see the same hairnet right by our room for like three days while we were there. It didn’t even seem like tipping helped grab the staff’s attention. If you wanted a drink or a snack you had to get up from your area and walk to the nearest bar, food truck or drink truck. The hotel was so massive that if we did not spend the extra money renting the golf cart, it would’ve been miserable walking around from area to area.

Excelente hotel con millones de amenidades, diversión para toda la familia. Deben mejorar urgentemente su fuerza de ventas, son muy insistentes a nivel de 7 personas para una presentación que se supone era de 90 minutos y duró mas de 2 horas y media. La comida excelente, la gran mayoría del staff da la milla extra. El licor no es consistente en todos los bares, eso puede mejorar! Lastima no recibimos upgrade de habitación y tampoco nos pudieron dar el late check out. Repetiremos igualmente este hotel.

The hotel was clean, food was not no good only food that was good was from restaurants Zen. The people they have at the hotel selling property they insist to much they don't let you enjoy the hotel. The hotel is not bad but i was expecting more for example a night club! They don't have not night club and the drinks had bad taste all times i only could drink water.

Great family trip

Weather was perfect and we had an amazing time. The only thing I thought could be better was the bed size. Their “queen” beds were really like a large twin. They were tiny. My other son had to use the pullout couch because the beds were so small. Other than that it’s a great place. Super big and a lot to do.

horrible stay

I have never had such a bad experience, it took them 2 hours to take our luggage and another two hours to pick us up in the trolley to go to dinner, it was under repair and they did not let us sleep, we asked for a caprese salad and they brought us bread with tomato, a real shame. The staff was rude and overbearing.

Beautiful property, well cared for and clean. Very spread out but the golf cart shuttles arrived often enough to make it easy to get around. Nice beach and multiple pools. All servers were friendly and helpful.

The staffs are very unfriendly The shower water is too low it feels like didnt took a shower The foods are very limited and not so tasty the meat were so hard to chew there were not much seafood

Summary: Great hotel, rude staff. The property facilities are clean and well-maintained. The night shows and entertainment are exceptional, with a talented cast. Food and drinks are high quality and enjoyable. The spa experience was excellent. Areas for Improvement: 1. Room Cleanliness: The balcony was poorly maintained (larvae on the wall, bird droppings on the chairs, and dirty tub with rusted handles). The minibar was not stocked upon arrival. 2. Housekeeping Service: Daily cleaning was inconsistent. I had to request room cleaning every day as my room was still unclean by 3 PM, even after being out all day. 3. Staff Attitude: While the spa staff were wonderful, interactions with other staff members fell short of expectations. The receptionist was rude and uncommunicative, and a server near the pool openly expressed dissatisfaction with their job, creating an uncomfortable environment for guests. 4. Checkout Experience: During checkout, the receptionist rudely asked why we were checking out late, despite us having reserved a late checkout the day before. After we explained, the receptionist changed their tone, but the initial interaction was very unpleasant. While the hotel has great strengths, significant improvements are needed in room cleanliness and general staff professionalism. These issues impacted my overall experience, which is especially disappointing. I would personally not return to a Hard Rock Hotel and would not recommend it.

The washroom showers are horrible along with the room given AC didn’t work and can see signs of mold and damage to the ceiling.

The concierge was too concerned about getting us to sit at a club sales meeting, the food wasn’t all that beat except for El Toro restaurant, All staff members were absolutely great

So much to do you can never be bored. Lovely beach area, shopping, casino, so many restaurant options!

Place is huuuuuge!! Need shuttles to get around but need to wait approximately 20 min to get one.getting into restaurants was miserable 30 minutes. Foid was mediocre. Staff not helpful. Bern to havari and majestic much better. Will mot return to hardrock

We really love the stay in Hard Rock Hotel.

The property is nice but most of the staff is racial and rude and the fact that it is all inclusive and you still have to pay for bowling and all other games and also you have to pay for drinks at the disco and some of the pools are only for VIP guest . So for me it’s too expensive compared to sandals where everything is included in the price .

Very nice resort, lot of activities to do within complex. Food not so good, at least not what you expect for a 5 star resort.

Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Especially my Mayordomo (Eliezer) I gave him five Stars ⭐️ The facilities were top-notch. The pools, spa, and casino were all well-maintained and offered a variety of activities to keep guests entertained. I did enjoy the Michael Jackson Show. The resort is located in a beautiful in area in Punta Cana that feels safe and quiet, making it perfect for relaxation. I appreciated the variety of shopping and dining options available on-site. Each restaurant offered a unique experience, and the food was delicious! Especially the Marketplace. My Only Complaint: The only issue I encountered was with the jacuzzi. While it had hot water, it didn’t produce bubbles, so I couldn’t enjoy a proper bubble bath. Despite this, everything else was very well maintained and clean. Overall, I highly recommend Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana for anyone looking for a luxurious and enjoyable all-inclusive experience. I can't wait to return! My next trip will be in December! It is a great resort

Too big of a property to get from point A to point B, too many kids, staff was noisy in the room hallways everyday. Food was ok. My stuff got taken on the lounge chair at the pool and when i made a report they didnt empathize with me and were rude. However 2 hrs later they called my room to tell me they found it. We had a bad experience and wont be coming back to this property. Although we love Hard Rock hotels in general well stick with Cancun!

Perfect place for adults and children

I truly enjoyed every part of my stay from the cleanliness of the property, the large rooms and the special nights with the activities!

Very friendly staff

We had Christmas and New Year at Hard Rock. Loved it! Although a huge resort, the facilities and range of dining options are terrific, though sometimes the queues at eating establishments, where you cannot book, are a bit frustrating. All of the staff were super friendly, laid back and helpful.

Two of the three rooms didnt have air conditioning for large portions of 2 days. Hot water was not available in the afternoon for 2-3 hours. The air filter should have been changed many months ago. A sewer line broke with sewage spreading across one of the walkways. The New Year's entertainment was unbelievably bad and the concept of needing to purchase a bottle of liquor/champagne for $150.00 in order to sit at a table was just plain pitiful! The best part of staying at the Hard Rock hotel was the personable and helpful staff working there. They were great!
