AC in the room was noisy. And the pool was horrible. The whole first floor smelled like chlorine. The room was comfortable and clean.
The location was great. Easy to get to six flags and shopping centers. The staff was so kind and helpful.

I’m a bed snob and this room had a very comfortable bed. What else is there? Little noisy with kids playing upstairs during spring break but it is what it is. I’d stay again if I needed to be in the area
There was hair in my shower. I tried to get a room near my family and they couldn't do it. Would stay somewhere else next time.

Only thing I noticed with cleanliness was one long hair on the top of the bed. Could have been the cleaning crew that left it there. I didn't freak out but I did look at the sheets. They looked alright.

There was a cockroach in the room. The following day, the room wasn't cleaned as requested. The receptionist did come up to pick up the cockroach that instant.

My review for our two night stay
We did not have a pleasant stay. The carpet and toilet were dirty, there are plugs on only one side of the room, condensation on celing of bathroom was yellow after showering, and housekeeping never went to our room. We had to go to front desk and ask for clean towels.
Hampton Inn San Antonio
First, the address that navigation takes you to is nowhere near the actual hotel. When we called the hotel for exact directions and location, the gentleman on the other end, couldn’t speak English very well, and so it was difficult to understand where he was telling us to go. He told us to enter through a side street that ran behind the Tesla dealership and that there was a gate there there was open that we could come in. When we got there, the gate was locked so we had to turn around and go all the way back out. The only way to get there was to go all the way down the interstate to the next major intersection and take the U-turn and come back up the freeway, which all in all probably was about another 3 to 4 miles. The hotel is very difficult to get to. When we finally got there, I made that reference to that gentleman that checked us in. And he wasn’t aware that the back gate was closed that he told us to enter. The room was clean, but we had no hot water in our shower. Both there were two sinks in the room and both sinks seem to get hot water relatively quickly. But the shower I stood in for almost 10 minutes and never got hot water. Will probably never stay there again

Issues: the bathrooms had no fans so you would smell everyone’s poop. You couldn’t take a hot shower because no vents. The shower layout door was incorrect and facing inwards when open. The property its self was not bad but you notice little things here and there. Cracks, dirty spots. Etc… the elevator had a liquid stain on the ground and instead of staff cleaning it, they put a watch your step sign for the evening leading to the next morning instead of cleaning it. It was such a simple clean. Besides that, front staff were nice and polite. The rooms are nice and looked and felt clean. The filters on the AC units need some cleaning but it did its job. Breakfast is nothing special but it was good enough. The Breakfast lady was nice.
It was ok, but not worth the price.
Staff was unhelpful and discourteous. Asked for extra pillows, and told the hotel doesn't have any. Was told breakfast ends at 10, and check out is at 11. Finished breakfast just before 10, and went to the room to get our things only to find our keys had already been deactivated and had to ask a housekeeping supervisor permission to go back in and get our things. We were then told next time we'd have to go back downstairs to get back in when we shouldn't have been locked out in the first place. The room itself was spacious, but the walls were so thin, I got no sleep as there was banging and stomping until at least 1AM.

I just wished they had offer me the free water when I checked in, but other than that the stay was very good.

We have always used HOTELS.COM to book our stays at any hotel. We especially love staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites off Jones Maltsberger but because my father was having a medical procedure we opted for this location. I reserved using Hotels.com giving me the option to pay at the hotel when we arrived. This particular hotel charged four rooms to my credit card prior to our arrival. Obviously, causing an inconvenience for me. There were four different families staying at this hotel. They called me to let me know that one room did not go through and if I didn't have another form of payment my room would be cancelled. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was rude. I believe her name was Alejandra because we kept getting texts about our stay. We tried to get some coffee and there was none. Receptionist didn't offer to make any either. The other Hampton Inn & Suites where we normally stay and will be staying in the future had excellent customer service and they were quite accommodating. Don't stay here. They don't honor the "pay at the hotel" when you reserve through third party websites. NOT HAPPY AT ALL.

Hotel is nice and in a safe area (no cars were broken into), needs to definitely be remodeled, breakfast was nice, and employees were really nice. Will stay here again, to be near six flags and la cantera.
This hotel had an 8.2 customer rating and a very competitive rate. This was not a 8 rated hotel. The issues were the towels were cheap-ish, small and scratchy. The bed had four half pillows. It should have been 6-8. Breakfast was typical fare and adequate - eggs, sausage patties, waffles, potatoes, cereal. Coffee was good.
No issue with property had great stay. Just area around and its near highway still nice

I really liked that the staff was very friendly and attentive. I liked that it was a secure hotel in a secure location. It was very enjoyable.
Only thing was the pool is a bit smaller than pictures and looks a bit outdated. Rest of the hotel is nice and breakfast was good
The room's furnishings was spacious and the furnishings in very good condition. I liked the contemporary style of the room. Anything that I might consider a negative would just be "being picky." Overall, I was very pleased.
Great location. The down fall was dirty bathroom and shower room. House keepers need to pay a little more attention to detail. Will Insaty here again yes.
I loved everything except the bed. Was a old spring bed. Noone has those anymore. Advertising said there was a jacuzzi, there in fact was not, it had been turned into part of the pool. The jacuzzi was the only reason i booked this location. It was a waste of money for the point of staying here

When we went to check out that morning, my husband noticed that the truck next to us had a hole in the back window and the entire window had been pulled out and was on the ground. The same thing happened with the truck in front of us. We saw security driving around the evening before, so not sure how this happened with security on the property. We probably will not stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn and Suites. The staff was very friendly and answered questions about restaurants Our room was very nice and clean. We enjoyed having a desk and chair and foot stools. The bathrooms were very modern and tastefully decorated. The breakfast buffet was very good, also.
All was good except that a few cars got broken into. Ours didn't but 2 of the cars near where we parked did. They said they were having a problem in the area and they did have security driving around at night so I don't know when they were broken into. The breakfast was very good. and it was a nice room just too bad about the break-in. The people had to call the police to file a report the hotel didn't do anything about that they said it was a police issue. I think the hotel could've done more. Too bad it was a nice place to stay.

The lady, Tracy, at the front desk treated my husband horribly. She stopped him coming into the hotel to ask if he was staying there. He produced the key card, gave her my room number and gave her my name which the reservation was under. The lady then asked for his name and requested he show id. She didn’t believe he was staying there. When I went to ask why she did all that she said she asks everyone that. Which is a lie because I wasn’t questioned, the two people that went in before my husband were not questioned. My husband has a tattooed face and pink hair so we get how he looks but the second he gave her my room number and my name that should’ve been fine. He also called me while she was speaking to him and her tone was so incredibly rude. She treated him like he wasn’t good enough to stay there. I ended up checking out an entire day early because why would I stay somewhere with my family when we are treated like that. I will never stay at another Hilton ever again. Tracy was very judgmental towards my husband because of the way he looked. She has terrible costumer service and should not work in the service industry if she is going to treat people like that.
Dont stay at this property , bad location, horrible staff. Staff members that dont know how to do their job. The staff members claimed that Expedia did not book my room correctly when i had my confirmation from expedia. Just the wrost experience ive ever had !!!
False Advertising! NO HOT TUB!
False Advertising!!! I booked this hotel SPECIFICALLY for the hot tub and there is no hot tub. The picture shown IS NOT their pool. I thought take the kids To Seaworld and mama can soak in the hot tub after…. Ya no! So disappointed. And I was not the only one. My boys said 3 other families were talking about being sad there was no hot tub when they were at the pool. Also they don’t clean the room everyday so I went to the front desk after breakfast before 10am and requested them to change sheets, fresh towels, full room clean since I have so many kids - nothing better than coming to a clean room after a long day. Came back at 9pm after being at Aquatica all day - no towels - NOTHING Room hadn’t been touched! Still had Cheeto Marks from my kid dropping them in bed in the morning. Of course their cleaning ladies are not on staff at that time so all they can offer me, besides apologies, is fresh towels and some trash bags for me to take out my own trash. I did not pay $130 a night to sleep in dirty sheets and take out my own trash. So disappointed. Completely ruined the trip and my mood. They don’t give a crap about your needs and requests. Save yourself and stay elsewhere.

The person at check-in was not friendly, and then the refrigerator did not work in the room. There was no way to get the refrigerator replaced at night so we had to check out of that room and move to another room.
Hotel was alright. On our last stay they broke into some people vehicle especially one of our family members.

The pool photo is INACCURATE. There is NO hot tub and the pool is smaller than it appears. The excessive chemicals ruined my daughters’ swimsuits. Breakfast lasts until 10 but they won’t replenish anything after 9. Nothing too terrible but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
Hampton Inn Can Do Better
The room had an awkward set up. The bathroom was separate from the shower. The tv also was more to one side of the room and not easily seeable from both beds. The beds are hard. There were cracks around the doors and the shower was a little dirty. They had a sign that offered toiletries if you forgot something, however when we realized we forgot a toothbrush they did not have one. Asked to have room service everyday during our stay and this was not done after our first night. We were also provided with pool towels when we had to ask for towels since we did not get the room service that night. They never left enough wash cloths for the people that stayed in the room. Their breakfast was nothing special. The lady named Twyleka at the breakfast area was not very friendly. One morning we witnessed them making potatoes for one family and when another guest asked if they could have potatoes they were told no it was just for that one family. I have never seen this before. They served omelets 3 days in a row. First day for omelets they were just eggs, next day they added cheese and the 3rd day added bell peppers. The pool water was super cloudy and the pool is pretty small. If you wanted ice you had to go to the second floor. Laundry room was clean and washer and dryer worked with no issue. Overall, this is what i would expect staying at a motel 6 and not a Hampton Inn. This was our first stay at a Hampton Inn and will probably be our last.

The only reason why I’m giving 3 star is because the first night the cars were broken into, and stole allot of personal items. The night before we heard they also broke into cars so we were worried the nights we where there.
5 cars where broken into. Broken glass all around parking lot. Gladly my vehicle was not broken into. Breakfast is very limited they dont refill after 9 even though theres many people waiting.
My stay at Hampton inn was pleasant, friendly staff, clean rooms and to top it off, the breakfast selection!!!!

Not safe! During our stay almost 8 cars were broken into! There was shattered glass all over the parking lot and this seems to be a common occurrence at this location. The signs in the parking lot clearly state the guest assumes responsibility for any mishaps by parking in their lot. The breakfast was ok. Had problems getting fresh towels and toilet paper.
The night we stayed I noticed lots of broken glass in the parking lot so we were sure to park where my vehicle was visible by property cameras. The next morning between 8-10 cars had been broken into in which management did not help or care in any way. At the very least provide security through the night so that guests may feel comfortable parking their cars in the hotel parking lot. Additionally it took a while to check in due to system issues, my mini fridge in my room was not working, and I also did not have an iron in the room. When contacting front desk about getting an iron they could not help me and said I needed to wait for housekeeping to arrive. I find it hard to believe that a manager or any employee in the hotel doesn’t have access to the housekeeping facilities to get me an iron. It was a lot of little issues that made the stay uncomfortable. I recommend staying if you want to take the risk of your vehicle being broken into.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Any requests I had were their top priority. The housekeeping staff was excellent. The breakfast was very good too.
There was three car break ins during our stay there. Staff was very rude for the exception of the manager by name of Dawn. She was literally the only one that was polite and respectful.
I thought the location looked secure and the room was nice overall. I was not satisfied with the towels. They were all stained and looked dirty. Our comforter had a stain on it as well. However, the room was so cold and it was quiet so we slept great.
Lock your car
The property was overall well cared for. However, our room had some issues, mainly the door to the adjoining rooms lock was broken and could not be secured. After notifying the front desk, nothing was done and no remedy was offered. Also, at around 3am there was an attempted break-in to a customer's vehicle. Again, notified the front desk and was told "yeah, we get a lot of break ins."

This place has become my favorite in San Antonio. It’s clean and quiet. Indoor poor. Breakfast is ok and staff is always super nice. It’s close to the highway and some fast food spots around. I recommend this place as a husband and father of 2.
