Generally very good. Breakfast is good but not excellent. Shower gel was empty.

Love this hotel staff is very friendly and has a good breakfast. Makes it very convenient for when my daughter has her dr appointments at the Children’s Hospital right across the street.

The staff were excellent! Very friendly. The only thing that could have been better was that there was no hand soap in the bathroom, so had to use bath gel from the shower. Also the tissue box was empty, no extra toiletries. Hotel was clean. Nice size room

My truck and 2 other trucks were broken into on the same night. Staff was no help with the police. They claimed they didn't have cameras even though you can see them in the parking lot. They're just to give you a false sense of security. One of the trucks was parked right next to the front entrance. I asked for them to comp my room and they said no. Onto the room, The beds were not comfortable, the fitted sheets would not stay on the bed. You would wake up laying on the bare mattress. the pillows were very small and flat. You have to request room cleaning the day before. Continental breakfast was a joke. Coffee was luke warm. No water bottles in the room to make your own coffee. The list goes on. I will not recommend this place or any affiliated hotel to anyone.

Nice & clean nice customer service

Didn’t like customer service . Front desk was rude when asked if there were any rooms available who have not recently had pets . No eye contact , no directions to elevator or information on breakfast or parking. Dated room pet smell and pictures are false advertisement.

Very nice place to stay. Breakfast is basic but still nice to have something. Only negative was toilet was dirty around the outside. There was urine spots, but we would stay again still

Check in could have been more welcoming and informative. Room and bathroom were large and generally very clean; bed comfort was average. Breakfast had reasonable choice. Overall recommended and good for a short stay.

The dirtiest hotel I ever stayed at and was quite shocked to be woken up with bedbugs crawling all over the pillows and bites on my arm definitely would not recommend this hotel stay at your own risk rooms were dirty too!

I enjoyed my stay. Glad they were available to receive me even though I arrived late.

There was so much noise from upstairs guests, footsteps all night, kids running around.

The staff was so nice & accommodating, it was clean & the breakfast was good. I didn’t like that the phone in the room didn’t work & after reporting it to the front desk, nothing was done to rectify the problem. Overall everything was great! Very nice & clean.. we loved it.

Staff were kind and rooms were great. Only issue was the air conditioner, 73 was too hot, and 72 was freezing. Something was really wrong with it.

Lost power in Cypress!

We lost power last Thursday and needed a hotel because I am on oxygen and needed the power and AC. I made the reservation on line but I forgot to ask for downstairs room. Even though they didn’t have any, Jeanette made sure we had the rooms next to the elevator and was set up for handicap situations. The room was excellent! When we checked in Jeanette had already left for the day and Lauren was there. She was just as amazing! She remembered me and my family every time we came through the lobby. The next day I forgot my key as Jeanette was gracious enough to let me back in. Loosing power was a horrible experience especially with the unbearable Houston heat, but they made our stay such a pleasant experience, I forgot all about loosing all my food. You will not regret staying at this Hampton Inn at I-10 and Park Row. Thank you ladies for making our experience an enjoyable one!😊

Staff was nice. Breakfast needs variety, they did not even have bacon. Room was supposed to be cleaned every other day. We spent 3 nights and they never came. When you get to your hotel room late at night you want it to be neat and clean. We did not complain, it was late and we were tired.

The air condition vents leak. The carpet is damp and the entire hotel smells very musty. Many of the common areas were not clean. There were dirty linens in the hallway overnight. Would not recommend.

It was clean

Had to have an outpatient procedure at Houston Methodist West Hospital and had to be there at 0600. Hotel is just across from Tx Childrens Hospital West and down the block from Methodist West Hospital. We were very impressed with the room. It was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. The bathroom had a HUGE double shower and they use the refillable amenities, (no mini plastic bottles going into landfills). Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Rooms may not get clean up even for an extendend number of days, during my start they wait 5 days until my room was cleaned, even though I was asking everyday to do it.

used condom in the closet at check in, when we told the front desk they offered to remove our parking fee. We has our young daughter with us, unacceptably! They didn't clean our room the 3 days we stayed and we had to go to the receptionist for clean towels.

The room was quite satisfactory, featuring impeccably white sheets that seemed brand new. Equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, and an ample supply of clean, white towels, my room provided a comfortable stay. I suggest washing the sofa. The included breakfast offered a delightful assortment of pastries, waffles, and three varieties of coffee—a fantastic way to kickstart your day

We chose to stay at this hotel due to the proximity of the medical facilities where we had a family member who was scheduled for a procedure the next day. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again.

The person they have working the overnight shift was very rude and threatened to cancel my reservation because I didn't want to pay for parking even though I did even have a care. I understand that the hotel already has a parking tax that the charge. To be charged for a vehicle and I didnt have one is unacceptable. The lad who worked in the morning was very well mannered and helped me get everything situated with my room.

It is a nice location to the hospitals nearby. Hotel was in good condition and clean. The staff was also very friendly and courteous.There was however an ant problem in our room, even when there was no food present. That's the only knock against it.

Enjoyed the stay

They never came to clean the room or offer fresh towels and when I went to ask the cleaning lady for some they just looked at me (yes they did speak English) and told me they didn’t have any but then gave it to me anyways. Was just a really weird interaction with them. The hotel charges a 12.57 parking fee that the concierge did not tell me about and they also charged me 200 dollars on top of the 50 dollar incidental fee that was also not discussed with me. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable but the experience was weird and I didn’t appreciate the surprise charges. Even though it will be refunded I would have liked to been told about it before them just charging me. I have stayed at Hamptons in the past and never went through this which is why it’s weird to me.

Beware of junk fees after the fact!

I booked at Hampton Inn Park Row in Houston for two nights through Hotels.com. After check-out, I was charged "parking recapture fees" and tax, for a total of $8.38. This constitutes as a junk fee. I was not notified about this parking fee directly, nor was it warranted. My booking confirmation and my receipt from Hotels.com do not list this fee. I was not told about it at check-in. When I contacted the hotel, I was told that this was a "self-parking fee" - but they didn't even confirm I parked there. Hotels.com then contacted them, and the management claimed that this was a "parking maintenance fee" that they charge to everybody. Hampton Inn insisted it was on their website. However, in order to see this fee, I had to actually go into their website to make a NEW booking, and scroll all the way down into a pull down tab for "View Optional Services". Under that tab it listed "Self Parking: $3.87/day". So which is it: a self parking optional service, or a mandatory fee charged to everybody, regardless of whether they parked there? It is very clear that Hampton Inn is charging customers fees that they are going out of their way to hide. I should note that Hotels.com did later point out that the "Self Parking" fee was listed under additional policies on their website. I did miss that. But it was irrelevant as I did not park there! And the hotel is claiming this is a maintenance fee, which is contradicting their own website.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. It was close to family and relatively close to shopping. Front desk personnel was friendly. We were in town for a family funeral. And I referred my cousin and his wife to this location too.

Passing the handicap room off

Be nice to ask someone if they desire their handicapped room before placing them in it. Who wants a wheel chair shower bathroom if they don’t ask for it? Should not have paid full price for this. Also, told the clerk I had paid for two days when I checked in. He shook his head with approval then told me I had to check back in the next day cause I had done them separately.

Very disappointed at the decline in this property. Stayed just 5 years ago and it was wonderful. Property outside the main lobby was thilthy .I witnessed and stopped a attempted car break-in from inside my ground floor window , in the daytime The clerk took my account of the incident and the would be victim check out that evening. Its unfortunate this place charges a fee for parking and you gotta keep checking on your vehicle all day & night.

Fast and easy check in. Friendly staff. Nice rooms and ac works really well...Fridge it's very cold

We asked for first floor due to accessibility and were still put on the second floor. Bathroom floors are very very slick when wet which felt dangerous, especially in accessible room. Room was clean and temperature was nice.

The hotel is very clean, seems fairly new, rooms were nice and spacious with microwave and refrigerator, 55” TV.

Quiet hotel but the construction of new apartments in front of the entrance makes it a very busy area. The room was gross. I lifted the mattress and found old clothes and receipts under it. The chair was stained and the remote had some type of sticky substance over the buttons. The microwave had sauce and other stains in it and the refrigerator looked like it was never wiped down. The shower had large pieces of caulk missing and there was a gaping hole around the shower head. The pool had film around the edges and roaches floating in it. I had bagels for breakfast and it was fine. Overall, I’d recommend bringing your own cleaning supplies and gloves to clean the room. Also, watch your car, last time I stayed here someone was stealing catalytic converters in the parking lot.
