The staff were really friendly. The room was clean. I felt comfortable. The building is old, but I didn’t have a problem with that. There were only one socket to charge all of our electronics, which was due to the old building.

Nice hotel, close to the highway. Most of the staff very nice, but the receptionist when we arrived was very cooperative!

The Hotel was very nice and in a great location . Our room was spacious and it had a great view of the city and a beautiful park. You can here the Tram's noises but it wasn't bad at all. The Hotel gaves us complementary trams tickets which was amazing since it tooks us to the Hercules statue. The breakfast at the Hotel is absolutely fabulous . This is our third H Hotel this year and we absolutely love the sevice and the facilities. I will definitely book another H Hotel again .

I choosed this hotel because it says there is GYM. However , i was very disappointed when i saw that there were only a few tredmills but no machine or weight to exercise.

Kassel visit

Kassel was very busy with much the same shops as everywhere else. The green place were very good, herculien, orangery. The trams were very good for getting around. Hotel was very good but room was slightly dated.

Very poor customer service, ok breakfast, very dated rooms. We arrived at 12:30pm and were met with a very curt “check in is not until 3” immediately upon walking thru the front door. Our group of 4 including 2 seniors were told we would have to wait until exactly 3pm before they would give us our room key. They had rooms available, that was abundantly obvious but chose to make us sit in the lobby for 2.5 hrs for no reason other than incredibly poor customer service. The rooms themselves are fine, very very dated and the doors have no deadbolt or other extra security lock or peephole so it felt a bit unsafe as well. Will not be staying here again and would not recommend.

Location is good. In the main street. Room is clean, but the breakfast is poor.

There was a rotting pretzel in the corner of my room behind the chair, smudges on the mirrors and windows, stains on the carpet, and food crusted on the chair. I asked reception if I could have a more thorough cleaning, which they said would be taken care of, but never happened. If they cleaned more thoroughly it would be a lot better.

We reserved for two rooms with two adults in each room. We checked in and asked for two keys for each of the two rooms. Nonetheless the rooms we were given had blankets and towels for only one guest. We requested a cot in our reservation and were told they had no record of the request. Huge hassle.

Great! We were really happy with our stay! Breakfast was also good. Would stay here again

Ideal for business in Kassel

The H4 hotel is perfectly placed for business at the Kongress Kapital and a 10 min tram ride from the city centre. The hotel is very nice and well decorated. The rooms are what i might call 'Almost Dated' , but lovely and well appointed. The breakfast is wholesome but limited for Vegetarians. The restaurant menu is good and the service excellent

Quick one night stay

We stayed for one night and it was fine. Good location and easy to find. The parking was out front of the hotel. Our rooms were ok, showing some age but acceptable. The gummy bears on the pillows were a nice touch.

A perfect hotel

Far more better than we expected. I can say it is a standard hotel with a perfect service and a fair cost. Everything is reasonable, room size and beds, bathroom, breakfast, air conditioner and parking. I strongly recommend it.

Kassel fly-by

We booked this hotel on our way south from Norway and got a fantastisk price for two rooms. We arrived at 1am and were met by a very friendly employee at check in and could park our car just across the street for a small fee. The rooms had great views and with basic standard. A bit aged but clean, with comfortable beds and nice sheets. Breakfast was really good and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend, Kassel is a cute little city, too.

Great place

Great location, the hotel looks very nice at the entrance, the staff were very helpful and friendly, lots of shops and restaurants around . Also, public transportation across the street making easy to get to the center. Therooms could be a bit more modern , but overall, really nice to stay there

Exceeded Expectations

Booked for meetings in the local area I chose this hotel for the convienience of the location However - the hotel far exceeded mine and my colleagues expectations The rooms are clean, comfortable and a good size - The staff are where the hotel really wins - very warm and friendly, good English and nothing was a problem Food in the restaurant was also very good I’d recommend this place without a second thought

Bath didnt empty properly, one cup of coffee provided in the room. street parking us free but hotel car park 8 Euro a night. Breakfast was good

Kassel Wilhelmshohe

The area was great for us. Beautiful park right out the door. Close to shops. Tickets for streetcar available from staff, free. Beautiful view of the castle.

Best hotel in Kassel

Excellent Hotel in Kassel , very reasonable prices , we went for executive option with access to exec lounge which is on the top floor . It’s close to the centre so no need for taxi and there is a tram and bus stop outside. Rooms are clean and modern with good facilities.

Came for documenta. Hotel was great. Easy access to downtown. Just a few tram stops from train station as well. Tram leaves from right in front of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant comfortable hotel.

One of only a small number of hotels that I would stay in when visiting Kassel. Air Con works well. Pleasant and comfortable stay. Nicely refurbished breakfast area with excellent breakfast. Easy parking outside. Only downside was no tea making facilities in the room.

not the City Centre

The main problem is its 4kms to the city centre so false advertising advertising. Also for a non smoking hotel firstly the outside of the main entrance was a smokers haven. Then I started to cough when using the lifts. I went to the garage level and sure enough about 8 staff were siiting next to the lift smoking. Room was good size with appropiate Ramada faciilities. Did find a great restaurant about 300m away and a supermarket

Stopover enroute to MotoGP at Sachsenring

Friendly reception and restaurant staff. Safe underground garage parking for motorcycle, elevator directly from garage to accommodation floor made it easy to unpack and pack bike. Large clean, comfortable room with ensuite facilities. WiFi reception a bit patchy. Nice view over parkland to rear of hotel. Restaurant good for dinner; breakfast acceptable. TV could use some more English-speaking channels - or Sky Sports

Clean room. Bed is a bit too small for hotel around this price range and air conditioner was not cold enough. Great view of the city. Breakfast is the same everyday. For people who are staying more than 2 days, the menu has really become a discouragement to eat breakfast in the hotel.

Avoid if possible

Hotel refused to honour expedia reservation, fabricating "evidence" that they had sent a message to expedia that my reservation was not valid. Insisted that I pay the going daily rate, which was 50% more. On return home and followingup with expedia, hotel admitted to expedia that none of that was true and they should have honoured my reservation. In the rooms, the only non-German TV is CNBC and CNN, which after a while loses its charm. WiFi was not working in my room.

Excellent hotel for the price

Well located. Just 3 tram stops from train station (not the main one), 15 min from Kassel city center. Had a room with great view. Wireless fees charged, but you can ask for free access at the counter for use at the lobby. You also get free tram rides, which I wish I had known in advance. I bought a week's use ticket, which I didn't have to. The bedroom itself is very clean and pleasant. If the mattress had been firm, it would have been perfect. For the price, you can't beat it.

leider hatte ich mit Zimmer Nr. 416 ein sehr hellhöriges Zimmer bekommen: ständig polterte es im angrenzenden Wirtschaftsraum oder man wurde in den morgendlichen Arbeitsalltag des Zimmernachbarn unfreiwillig ab 05:30 Uhr integriert. ich habe in meinem Stammhotel H4 Kassel leider schon bessere Zeiten erlebt; das Personal am Empfang und im Frühstücksbereich ist routiniert und professionell wie immer ... schade

Super zentral gelegen, mit der Straßenbahn ist man rasch im Zentrum.

Super freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück, schöne saubere Zimmer. Immer wieder gerne.

Zu empfehlen

Wir waren für ein Wochenende im Hotel. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr Freund, die Lage und damit verbunden die Anbindung an das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz sind genial. Auch das wir kostenfrei Tickets für die Straßenbahn bekommen haben ist super freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Wir hatten Lounge Zugang. Die war nicht sehr stark besucht und an Getränken war antialkoholisch sowie alkoholisch alles dabei. Der Blick über Kassel ist natürlich sensationell. Den Wellness Bereich haben wir nicht genutzt. Das Restaurant besuchten wir auch nicht. Wie immer mache ich die bitte. Macht euch selber ein Bild. Die geschmäcker sind unterschiedlich und jeder hat andere Prioritäten. Für uns war alles ok und wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

diesmal kleine Abstriche

bei diesem Besuch leider mal ein kleiner Abstrich beim Zustand: im Badezimmer (Zi Nr. 809) flackerte die rechte Leuchte und beim Fahrstuhl klemmte auf Ebene 8 plötzlich die Fahrstuhl -Tür und sorgte für eine Schrecksekunde (linker Hauptfahrstuhl) ... bleibt aber natürlich mein Lieblingshotel in und um Kassel 👍

Beliggenhed er ikke alt

Værelset var stort og lyst med en fantastisk udsigt. Morgenmaden var ovenud tilfredsstillende. Hotellet ligger ikke centralt men hotelstandarden opvejer dette. Skulle vi komme til Kassel igen bor vi her.

Prima hotel, waar ik al meerder keren in Kassel voor heb gekozen. De slaapkamer is niet de meest moderne, maar wel compleet. Koffiecups op de kamer, net als thee. Parkeren kan op straat, maar ook op het dek (€ 10,00) of in de garage (€ 12,00). Prima restaurant voor het avondeten en prima, zeer compleet ontbijtbuffet

Letztte Übernachtung vor der Heimteise in die Schweiz. Alles super. Sehr freundliches Personal, Essen gut, Frühstück reichhaltig. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Werden wir aug jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Der var beskidt på gulvene og der var et aircondition anlæg der bestemt ikke virkede og i min datters værelse lå der døde fluer i vindueskarmen. En tung meget varm dyne i forhold til at det er sommer og 2 puder der slet ikke gav støtte. Bestemt ikke 4 stjerner værd. Men et kæmpe plus var dejlig morgenmad

A great stay

We used the Hotel as a middle stop on way to Austria, back and forth. It was a very nice hotel - we will definately be using it again. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because it has carpets, my wife and daugther have allergies. All in all, a great stay in a great city.

Du får vad du betalar för. Middagen tyckte vi såg för tråkig ut, så vi gick till ett ställe 10 min bort. Bra mat. Slitna rum, men rent. Bra frukost. Ett bra övernattnings hotel.
