Loved the location, very easy access, tons of options for dinning and shopping!
Absolutely Enjoyed my Stay !
Not good
First, the property charges a $100 fee which I do not understand because the conditions of the hotel are deplorable. I have stayed at a few Extended Stay and this is one is just not right. Additionally, it has been five days since my stay, I still have not received my deposit back. I am not sure if I am being a victim of some scam. Finally, there is some musky smell throughout the property.
Wonderful Bed!!
The building was getting worked on, but it was still clean. The workers were very nice. I loved the bed it was comfortable, but you can tell it is a little dated. We had no problems checking in or checking out. There was plenty parking. The kitchen area was a nice size with a full size Fridge in it.
It was much better than previous hotel and very convenient last minute booking.
The smell of the place was terrible. I looked passed that because they was courteous to have a note stating “Excuse our appearance we are getting a face lift”. But heading to the room, was beyond human living. The toilet had nasty residue and the tub looked like it was never touched for cleaning. One of the lamps did not work and it was overall nasty! 0/10 would not recommend, not even to my worst enemy!
I booked this hotel for my friend She had 2 kids I booked for 1 week after that she decided to stay 3 more days and I extended for her But the front desk told us that she can not stay any more and she should cancel the reservation I try to contact expedia but no one responded
Unsafe dirty
High price for a small room and bed to soft.
I like the location of the property. It is close to the galleria and it is convenient and accessible
No breakfast, no room service for 2 weeks,
Nice hotel, well priced
Clean, quiet, easy to get around. Needs bigger parking lot
The front desk agent was very professional at check in. Made it to my room, and it smelled like an ash tray!! Looked back in the hall to ensure non smoking, and it was a non smoking room! Spoke to the front desk agent, and explained the overwhelming smell of cigarettes, and was handed a bottle of air freshener. Place is awful!
Good area but the hotel wasn’t that clean

EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE 🤘😁🤘
Dingy. Drab. Poor service. Rude staff.
After a terrible day of travel with a myriad of delays the icing on the cake was being forced to sleep in my car in this hotel’s parking lot because they couldn’t or wouldn’t let me check in. I arrived a bit after midnight and the rude staff at the front desk said I could not check in due to “a night audit”. Seriously? So I slept in my car, despite having PAID for a room that night. No followup. No offer to refund part of my bill. Once I did get into a room it was clearly water damaged, dingy. The toilet made noises all the time. The shower leaked and had poor drainage and ventilation. There was an iron, but no ironing board. Despite there being a “kitchen” there were no utensils, pots, pans, or anything useful for actually using the kitchen. Front desk staff were consistently rude and indifferent. The grass around the parking lot is like a minefield of dog poop. The WiFi does work. That is about the only positive aspect of a stay here.
The bed was comfy, hall way had bad smell.
Good
Good
That’s outstanding customer service by ASHA at the front manager Stacey. This is a great location. It’s very quiet and safe and these two individuals provided great friendly and welcoming customer service.
Multiple facilities in the room were broken, such as lights, Door lock. There was nobody when I was checking out in the counter. And overall, there was a cleanliness issue across the hotel.
It was fine
Everybody was very kind and welcoming
Charged cancellation fee when they had no power
The day before I arrived I received an automatic email reiterating that check in was at 3pm so I thought everything was fine at the hotel after hurricane Beryl. When I arrived the day of my booking at 3pm, the hotel had no power (6 days after landfall) and could not honor my reservation or let me check in. Yet they charged me their cancellation fee of one night's stay. If they were able to send me an email the day before, why could they not have contacted me about their lack of power? Why should I pay anything at all? Still trying to get this disputed between the hotel itself, hotels.com, and my credit card company.
There are quite a few problems(starting from unprofessional staff, unclean hotel & rooms, weed smell through out the hotel & walk ways, spoiled mattress, rochers in bath room. I had to vacate the room early as none of the concerns addressed. I have been told it’s old building all the rooms in the hotel are same.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Easy check in check out. Quiet. Stayed one night.
First i waited 30 minutes for someone to check me in. There were people hanging everywhere and just a bad vibe. Very unsatisfied
As someone who traveled from California for post-operative care following a mommy makeover, I expected a high standard of service and accommodation, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short.During my stay, I encountered several serious issues. I was horrified to wake up in the middle of the night to find two roaches in my room. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and sanitation of your facilities. The key card for my room frequently malfunctioned, preventing my caretaker from accessing the room. This forced me to get out of bed multiple times, which is a significant liability considering my post-operative condition. The toilet in my room was not working properly. When we notified the front desk, my caretaker was given a plunger to attempt to fix it himself. This lack of professional assistance is deeply troubling and I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT. Despite being aware that I would be staying with a caretaker, the room was only provided with two face towels and two body towels. When I requested additional towels, I was told I could only receive more if I exchanged the ones I had. This is highly inconvenient, especially given my medical needs. On Friday night, my caretaker requested to trade towels and was rudely told by the front desk staff to return at 7 am. When he asked for clarification on the time range, he was met with an attitude. These issues cause a high risk to my health and recovery.
The manager profiled me. She gets defensive and very unprofessional. She accused me of smoking. She refused to listen. She looked down on me. I went a week with leaking sink. 3 nights in the row someone tried to open the door with their keys.i had to ask for things that should have been in the room already. There were three patches on the ground. When it rains there's a leak by the window
Not recommended
It felt very unsafe. People hanging in the hallways and parking lot at night. You could smell the use of drugs. We chose it for the location, but it is not worth it. The staff are friendly and the rooms were fine.
Good but not excellent
The building has roaches
It's ok for money
When I first arrived I had to stomp a bug. The fridge was pretty beat up and it was dirty and dusty in the corner of the wall above the fridge. I could still smell smoke like in an old casino hotel. The wood on the chair was chewed up by a dog. the vanity in the bathroom looked like it had water damage and looked like it should be refaced or changed. My phone didn't work and a night light by the bed but I arrived late and wanted to go to bed. The lady was kind enough to offer me another room which she showed me the next day but I was checking out the next day and the hallway reeked of dog urine
First of all the property looked NOTHING like it did in the website. It was completely run down!! There were piles of trash just outside the elevators. The rooms were in horrible condition. It looked worse than an old college apartment. Secondly, the "breakfast" was NOTHING like it was advertised. There wasn't breakfast! We had to go find breakfast somewhere else. I will NEVER stay at a Stay America Suites ever again.
Price was okay. Overall cleanliness at common area, all locks needs changes, my first room has wifi-blind spot. They changed my room, next room was okay with wifi
Awful
My experience was the worst. The hallways smelled of pets. The elevator smelles of bug spray! Not clean. Did NOT stay
Pro: Free parking lot & very close to commercial area
Great location property desperately needs to be remodeled every thing is old and musty
Hotel was extremely dirty and under construction . Room not clean on arrival . Strong mildew smell
This was not a clean hotel. One room had issues with bugs. Never recommend staying at this hotel.
Hotel and stay were nice, but the staff do a poor job of keeping track of room availability. Less than 15 minutes after I arrived into my room after checking in, the staff member that checked me in, entered my room while I was in there unpacking, to see if the room was empty. He then closed the door and said he was sorry. The day of my check out, before 10am, another guest opened the door to my room as I was packing my belongings for the day. He showed me his key with my room number on his card and apologized and he returned back down to the lobby to get a different room. Managment and staff need to keep better track of occupied and un-occupied rooms.
Tv didn’t work had to chance rooms , no Mattress in Sofa but other than dat No complaints I enjoyed my stay . & will book again
The room was not clean, they didn't even bother replace a new toilet paper and we never had a trash bin. It was only given after we asked them. Everything in the room was dirty. The breakfast was not good as well. When we went at 6:55, it was just oatmeal Not a great place for family with kids
I never made it to the hotel so didn't check in or checked out but I think is was nice
It was manageble but wish the hotel was more clean
The community service was a 10/10 but it was not as clean as it should have been. The tub and refrigerator were super dirty. My cousin and I had to clean it down ourselves and the sink for out first room was leaking so we had to go to another room on the first night.
Roaches every where! Filthy!!
This hotel is disgusting. Do NOT STAY here! Roaches everywhere and it was not clean at all. We literally checked in and checkout bc we refused to stay there.
then rooms was ok, room size are goods but the towels sheet carpet and other things were dirty The house keeping came only once x week ( and we needed to ask and push to clean ) when was expected to get daily service the staff was really nice but they didn't have any 3JU=[]]]]]]]V 90P
Excellent service from Robert n diamond!
Diamond and Robert r the bestest staffs, they r the sweetest n most understanding! Who reports to work on a Friday on a holiday week earlier than usual to listen to my needs. It’s Robert n diamond! Really appreciate their service n gg the extra mile making a difference in our stay. Lots of love to them both! Rooms r currently gg through major renovation, stay tune for better stay experience.
Breakfast was not served due to Holiday season but on the portal it said breakfast included.
The hotel needs to be cleaned better. My room had roaches, dirty bathroom and doors, dirty floors etc..
Absolutely nothing like the pictures online. Room was dirty as in there was still trash in the garbage, the sheets were dirty, the mattresses were stained, safety hazard by bathtub as the floor board was as sticking up, not to mention BUGS!
The door lock was broken so I got moved to another room. Hands down the most terrible conditions I have ever encountered. The room smelled of pee from the entrance and I saw tiny bugs scatter when I put the lights on. Although I was very tired I could not risk the possibility of bed bugs and left immediately The front office staff was nice however this hotel needs to be inspected for safety and health conditions.
Breakfast service, very poor options, not even cofee to serve.
Do not recommend.
Upon check in my 1 of the 4 employees booked under one reservation had immediate push back from the front desk person, they knocked on the door of my employees hotel room at 3:30 AM to kick him out of a PAID hotel room with various documentation showing proof of booking and proof of payment, and then the front desk attendant told my Employee he was going to smack him in the face.
Don’t stay here
The room was run down, the front desk staff were not helpful or absent, the fire alarm woke us up every morning and there were roaches.
I chose this property with the idea that I could have meals in the room. There were no pots or pans or dishes in the room, and no silverware. Not even any paper plates or plastic silverware! Extended Stay America is supposed to be for longer stays, but this room could not accommodate a longer stay. I am glad that I only stayed one night.
This hotel was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The front desk was unprofessional in all ways. And made his problems ours. Front desk had a lobby full of guest waiting for some sort of assistance. We finally get to our room after almost an hour waiting to be serviced, and the room is falling apart. The floor board in the bathroom was coming apart making it a huge hazard and almost cut my foot with it stepping out the shower. The base boards were coming apart. Water pressure was extremely low. The toilet stopped working for a while and I had to fix the inside myself. For this hotel being within the galleria it was in such bad condition.
I was very disappionted in this property. They do not even have bathrooms in the lobby area or an ice-maker. It was so dirty and dusty. Never will I go to another Extended Stay Facility.
It was a room with a kitchenette , microwave and fridge . First off the main light for the room did not work had to turn all 4 lamps on for the room to have light. Microwave did not work, stove did not reach a heating point stayed lukewarm , took 2 hours to make a simple meal . Tried talking to front desk personnel but no one was available to fix my concerns . Needed utensils as well but was handed 2 butter knives and one teaspoon after waiting 15 minutes for the front desk clerk to find such sorry items. Stains in side the room, one particular stain on bathroom door looked like a full handprint smeared the wall of poop. Carpet was disgusting , SHOWER DID NOT WORK NO PRESSURE IN SHOWER . Demanded to speak with owner to no avail. Had to stay in dirty room and expected to pay full price when conditions were unsanitary
Deceptive Advertisement
The advertisement for this hotel is very deceptive. Elevator smell like dogs and cats. The room was comfortable and clean. Upon on check in arguments with extended stay residents was going on. No coffee or on the go breakfast on the next day. Morning front desk staff not professional. I don't recommend this hotel if you have standards.
Horrible hotel I won’t recommend
There were roaches coming out.
Will not be staying here again.
Rooms filthy and atrocious, staff incompetent and don’t care. Room furnishings broken and totally unclean and disgusting.
This place needs renovation.
Go elsewhere
Employees were great, everything else was awful. It was in a decent area, but the place was tore up!
Decent place.
Don’t stay at this hotel!
The staff was rude. A lot of people loitering. The decor was horrible. There was a stanch in the room that was unbearable!
I love to go in with Expedia because they make sure that you're okay every time
This property is a perfect example of "you get what you pay for", $64 a night. The good: The staff was very friendly, the exterior of the building looked well kept. Parking was easy and free! The Bad: The grounds were littered with used paper produces, bottles and general trash. Property is listed as "Smoke Free" facility. It is not, interior hallways on 1st and 3rd floors reeked of weed (Marijuana) both days we were there. In the room. No hair dryers, no comforters on the beds, carpet stains, broken lock, non functioning electoral outlets. Refrigerator and microwave worked fine. Didn't use the stove top.
For a non-smoking hotel, it smelled very much like Marijuana all the time. We had roaches in my room, not one trash can. The pullout sofa bed looked like a crime sceen. I thought the OYO Hotel in Katy was bad, this one takes the cake. Extremely disappointing. Not worth half of what i paid.
The hotel need updates, several in functionality l, entry door glass broke for all through my stay , smoking of illegal substances smell all over. At check in my tub and counter was dirty I asked for it to be cleaned, the front desk laughed at me and stated it was the cleanest room they have .?
Great hospitality
Short of cleaner services, Staff is rude , but managers know how to do their job . AC very noisy in room . Check out fast but check in so bad !
Never stay at this property. We had 2 rooms here and the both had holes in the wall ! Microwaves did not work. The wash room they state they have did not work. They allow dogs there and the animals urine and poop is all through out the hotel. I requested to speak to management in regards to my room and the standards of it and they would not help me !!! I am still waiting to speak to guest relations because we ended up staying somewhere else because of the nasty filthy location.
10/10
My door card never worked. I had to get the front desk clerk to let me in my room everytime. I woke up to roaches climbing on my face and all over the bed. I went into the bathroom and there were more roaches covering the shower
They gave my reserved room because I was checking in late even though I called to notify them that I was on my way. They were very rude and inconsiderate.
It’s ok if you just need a place to sleep, property could use renovations, and a bit more maintenance around the property should be fine
Worst hotel ever
The check in process was fast as easy. Other then that the room was somewhat clean besides the trash that was never taken out in who knows how long that we had a lot of bugs flying around. On our last day we found cockroaches. We stayed there for 3nights and and asked multiple times for towles and never received them so we had to use the same one the entire time which where small. I called the front desk on different day and time which noone ever answered. I will never stay in a extended stay again.
Breakfast was late and mostly non-existent; several mornings it was just hot water. Bugs/roaches - lot of them. Different sizes and all over the unit (floor, desk, closet, bathroom). Leaking bathroom. Absolutely no care expressed by staff in helping or addressing issues.
I called this property 12 hours ahead of time to let them know my flight was delayed and that I would not be arriving until 2am at the earliest. Whoever I spoke to on the phone said that would be fine, someone would be there to let me in and give me access to my room. When I got there, no one was at the front desk, some alarm was going off, and when the hostess finally showed up, she immediately said "We're booked." In the end I was denied my reservation, the hostess was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. She didn't offer me anything, and I was charged as a no-show. I had to rebook my weekend stay at a completely different hotel, and honestly I'm glad I did. Don't give these people your money, they don't deserve it.
Went 5 minutes. Saw roach. Also door 332 barely works.
The initial staff member was friendly and polite. The first red flag was when he was not able to rent to an apparent frequent visitor. The second red flag was immediately after check-in, I entered my room to see every cupboard door open and one cupboard door laying on the floor. Then I found a live cockroach in the bathtub and another in the ceiling light fixture. At the end of my visit, I ended up killing 5 roaches all while sleeping with the lights on. The hair dryer was bolted to the wall and in such poor shape that it appeared to be a fire hazard as the end of the nozzle was melted severely ( I took photos of my room). The brace handle in the elevator fell off while another visitor attempted to hold on to it. The grab-n-go breakfast wasn't available one morning to which two younger females said they didn't have keys to get into the room for stuff. Also, one of the females jumped over the front counter, which lead me to believe she may not have even worked there as it is very unprofessional to butt slide over the counter to get to the other side. I was afraid to park my rental vehicle in the rear parking lot as there had been another vehicle that had two windows smashed in. Then on another evening, there was outburst of yelling from a female in the parking lot that resembled domestic issues that were disturbing to any guests. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and do not understand why it would even be on the Expedia website.
clean safe
Stay as far away from this Hotel as you can
Only clean rooms once a week. Didn't know that when I booked the trip. Upon arrival noticed toenail clippings on the floor next to bed and dead roaches in the kitchen area. Went to the desk and complained said he would send someone over to clean never happened. He also offered a 10% credit which also didn't happen. If I didn't pay for this disgusting hotel in advance I would have left on the spot.
Easy to find, being next to the heavily trafficked freeway 610. The lobby entrance stunk with skunk weed! My double occupancy room was given away, so we had to settle for a single full size bed. Didn't realize until later that the pillows were clumps, I mean literally clumped up pillows I could not possibly rest our heads on! Our room was practically next to the freeway. Literally heard every car, and semi truck that rolled by! It seemed like a clean room on top of the counters but as you looked down, the vanity doors were stained with who knows what. Shower head pressure so restricted it felt like a mist. Carpeting needs replacing. Not what I expected for the price of around $174. Expedia, don't know who reviewed this motel...motel 6 experience. This would be a last ditch effort if I had to come back to the Galleria area. I hope my car is still outside when we leave!
Worst place ever rude staff dirty place
Terrible service and dirty rooms
The hotel hallway smelled like weed. The door lock did not work. There was roaches. The staff was not helpful.
Hotel is in terrible conditions, dirty, smells like cigarrete, A/C in my room did not work, it’s worn down, noisy and unacceotable in general
Arrived elevator didn’t work and room was on third floor. The rooms are extremely outdated. Shower was stained. Kitchenette had rest everywhere.
The room was not clean, the ceiling in the room was falling apart, the floor was torn up, the elevator was broken for the entire time, there was dog poop in the stairwell, and staff was never available. The worst experience that I've had at a hotel.
Very disappointing!
The hotel was very outdated and though it seemed to be going through renevations, the fact that it was a work zone should have been shared with us before hand or at least at checkin. We also booked this hotel because we needed the free hot breakfast that was supposed to be included since we would be up and out early in the morning. However, instead of a hot breakfast we only received nasty chocolate muffins and coffee. No other beverages nor foods were offered. Very disappointing!
Don't stay here
Did not ending up staying there . Worst place i have seen. Garbage all over. Reception rude would be an understatement! Run from it so bad.
Bad Bad Bas
I was told that i would be refunded and nothing has happened. The wall connected to the bathroom had zero power! There was no lights in the bathroom at all and the toilet would not flush. I was told no other rooms were available.
Horrible
Words cannot even begin describe how angry and disappointed I am at this hotel. I booked my reservation at 6 AM and I was driving 3 1/2 hours for a board meeting. I arrive to my hotel at 10 PM to find out that they deleted my reservation and I was left without a room. The front desk associate would not help me at all, was completely dismissive, and kept referring me over to Hotels.com. What was more embarrassing was the amount of people in the lobby watching me be turned away.

Perfect for the Cost
This place was perfect for the cost. I had a conference in the area and the other hotels were very expensive. Extended Stay was within walking distance of the conference hotel and saved me over $400 for the 3 nights I stayed. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The room was dated but clean. The property was well kept.
