Disappointed

Very loud squeaky bed and blown out mattress. Filthy bathroom floor. Excessive weed smell throughout property after we were forced to sign the no smoking policy? Dirty ice trays in fridge. No lights in parking lot after dark. Rude service at check in.

Waiting for confirmation of refund

Was not allowed to check in because the card I presented For my security deposit was not adequate even though it was a master card debit card that had over $500 available That I have used several times for security deposits, then took the card out of my ridge wallet and a put them on the counter and asked her to pick one, she then told me she was canceling my prepaid reservation, I asked her for proof of refund, she gave me proof of cancellation, not proof of refund. I then had to book another nearby hotel that I’ve used frequently at nearly double the price.

Do not chance booking here. I had a room booked and paid for in advance; I paid for the room 3 weeks before I was due to stay. They sold it! I showed up the day of around check in time to check in and get my key. The the older man and the taller man working the “front desk” told me they were understaffed and the turnover/ cleaning of rooms was behind. They couldn’t tell me what time I’d be able to check in and I told them I would have to leave for an event and wouldn’t return until 11p when I knew they closed the reception at 9p. So I told them it was imperative that I check in; both of the guys told me to call the number on the gate and the in house staff would be able to get me checked in. I returned when I said called the number and the woman on the phone told me it was a busy festival weekend and that they sold my room and that I would be refunded. I am a woman, in a city I don’t live, at 11:30p, during a festival weekend when everyone is now sold out Or astronomically priced. That’s where they left me. I received a refund from Orbitz who I booked with; turns out they marked me as a no show!Just know your booking is not guaranteed here and they will lie to your face. I will not give Extended Stay another chance to set me up like that again.

This place great! Super Clean hallways and floors in your room. It smells so fresh. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are happy. Rooms are really nice and comfortable. I booked a room for 22 more days for those reasons. Great find in Austin. Prices are great as well. Enjoy!

It is a low cost clean accommodation. However, the check-in is not at a front desk, but a desk behind a steel shutter that closes at 10 PM. We were, however, able to get the attention of night staff when we checked in at 10:10. The security is better than any other hotel, you can't even get to the elevators without a key card. There was a ruckus on the hall and staff were fast to quell this issue.

Worst Experience Ever

Check in went fine. However once we got to the room it was not clean, there were drugs (not much but still) left in the top drawer of the dresser as well as the previous occupants clothing, no washcloths, and no remote for the TV. There were roaches crawling around in the hallway, thankfully we didn’t see any in the room. When we brought up the situation with the remote the employee was aggravated and not very nice, but we did get a remote for the tv. When we brought up not having washcloths in the room (so we could even clean it ourselves) the employee said they’re running low and couldn’t give us any. These are just the main complaints I have. We will not be staying at this location or any other location. Definitely the worst experience I have ever had.

One of the worse hotels that I did stay in my life , extremely dirty , they didn’t have a curtain in the shower , floor super dirty and when I did try to put my clothes into the drawer, it was super dirty inside , here I’m sending some photos , and also you can hear all the noise from the cars on the street , super bad experience !!😡

Unwelcome

I’ve never met a staff, nor seen a building designed to be less welcoming of their customers. If you arrive early, there’s no place to wait or sit until time to check-in, and staff is unapologetic about that. The building and rooms feel cold like cinder block style dorm rooms. When it’s time to check in, be sure to have all your documents in order to be scrutinized; they seem to be looking for a reason to turn away guests.

All around horrible stay and experience with this hotel and the staff. Several issues were brought to the attention of the staff and none of them were addressed (no shower curtain in the room, missing towels, no soap available, the list goes on). After communicating concerns to not just the on-site staff but the corporate customer service, the issues still have not been addressed. Even after speaking to Expedia, they were unable to reach a staff member to speak to about the issues. So disappointing.

Went to bed. Got up to use the restroom. Turned the light on, I didn't know the room was already "occupied" ..killed the "2 occupants" and used my travel lysol to spray all hidden areas. Could not go back to sleep after that. That was in room 101. Left early.

To begin, theie was a situation before ww arrived that they were correcting. Worker at front was very professional and respectful so did not mind wait. Once my turn we recrived keys and went to room. Room was not ready for us. No comforters on beds, no pillows and most disturbing were the roaches. They were in the bathroom, litchen area and then on the blanket. Pillows in room, once we found them, were stained. Overall, very unclean. Friendly staff did all we asked to help make better but just couldn't take the roaches. Too much there. We were told we could get a full refund and chose to leave.

Nasty & Horrible "hotel" DO NOT STAY HERE

The hotel was incredibly dirty. The hotel staff did not have shoes, there was no regular cleaning staff, and the front desk did not have any clerks besides the first night we arrived. The sheets were stained, the bathroom was not clean, and the blankets had cigarette burn holes in it. I had to purchase cleaning products, towels, and blankets to make my stay livable because the other hotels in this area were completely booked. This hotel was not in the safest area of Austin and I highly recommend not staying here even if you are trying to save money. I have stayed in hotels with this rating before and it was not nearly as bad as this.

Locked Out

My door lock wouldn't unlock when I arrived, and a staff member had to unlock it for me. They then replaced the battery. But the next evening, the same thing happened. What would have happened had I arrived back after the front desk closed at 10pm? Sleeping in my car? I know you get what you pay for, but basic maintenance is something that every hotel should offer.

The staff were friendly enough but i do not suggest this hotel to anyone. The first room they put me in was the most disgusting off putting space i have ever paid to wak in to. Do NOT trust that your reservation will actually be honored. Have a backup in case they overbook. At arrival from the airport we were told there may not be any rooms available even though we had reservations. Apparently there were 15 reservations for check in and only 5 rooms available! Several families came in that evening to a closed reception desk with a paper sign saying “sorry for the inconvenience”, and they could request a refund online. There was NO ONE to contact or a person on site to talk to. There were a couple of vehicles in the parking lot with people living out of their cars. There was an exchange of cash for a baggie of some sort. We notified the desk clerk. The rooms were absolutely bare bones! No coffee maker, or cups, no ice bucket, no ice machine, not even ice trays to make ice, no hair dryer. No hangers for clothes. No hair dryer, no ironing board or iron. No one was at the desk to contact to request these items over the weekend. We killed over a dozen roaches in each of our rooms. I would never risk booking here as you may show up without a place to sleep and potentially all other hotels could be booked as they were this weekend. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

HORRIBLE!!

I arrived at the hotel at 7pm and they stated they were booked and couldn’t get me in, even though I already had a reservation. They had the nerve to tell me that they only had 1 bedroom available but there is another couple on their way that called, so she couldn’t give me that one, even though I had a reservation already. She also claimed that she had to turn away 10 other people because they were overbooked. So if you had 1 room at the time I got there, how is it that you we’re leaving it for someone else? This was very professional and they did not have any decency to contact anyone. I had to drive all the way back to Houston, because all hotels were booked. Lets just say I will never attempt to stay at any of their hotel chains in the future and would advise others as well!

Had to keep scooping up the cockroaches and putting them in the toilet to flush away. Killed around 50 during a 4 day stay, and those are just the ones that came out while I was there. They were hiding under the baseboard at the vinyl floor

Don't stay here

Roaches were calling everywhere even in the bed as you sleep. Hotel room appear to be clean but the point check in could not get our rooms because the room was not cleaned. Management claims that the rooms were in too bad of shape to clean for the night would take over two hours had to take double room we have three occupants

STAY AWAY FROM THIS “HOTEL” we got there and the room was dirty , pillow sheets dirty too … the staff takes so much time to do your check in, it’s not a place to stay with kids .. very shady place . We have to leave 10 min after and they told us they were going to summit a refund and a day after they said that they don’t do refunds ….. PLEASE DONT STAY HERE . I didn’t read the reviews beforehand but should have. Roaches were found in our room in multiple places. We called front desk and given the option to move to second floor where the manager stays and assures there’s no bugs on that floor or get a refund and go. We chose refund. Also heard constant noise above us that sounded like walking back and forth for hours

You get what you pay for.

For the price it\s hard to beat but many things lacking. I was on an extended (28 day) business trip and required a wheelchair accessible hotel room. They accommodated me on that part but, upon check-in I was informed if I wanted the linens laundered, mind you this is their linens, I would either need to pay extra or do them myself. Yes, I would have to wash their linens at my expense. The laundry facilities on site only takes quarters and there was no place to get quarters, I wound up going to a bank to get them. $3.00 to wash and $3.00 to dry and the laundry came out wet, can you say rip-off. They never cleaned the room in 28 days, we could not even get toilet paper, had to buy our own. Daytime was fine but at night the roaches came out. Thee doors are always locked so when I ordered stuff, like food, to be delivered I had to, in a wheelchair and after on crutches, go down the hall and open the door to let the delivery person in. Since I was disabled I could not take my trash out but upon leaving I bagged everything up for them, they still charged me a cleaning fee because I didn't take it out myself.

If you can afford staying somewhere else, Do It!

Very nice staff. I stayed there 15 days and never once did they refresh towels or linens. Also, several roaches were found in my room. Will never stay at one of these again.

Insects Crawling in Room after Dark

The main light in the room was not working. Remote for television was not working. Starting at 8:00 at night bugs starting crawling all over the floor near the bed. It was busy with bugs crawling all night - Little rest whatsoever. Austin was sold out that evening unless you wanted to pay 450.00 - 500.00 range. This place appears on the website as clean and nice. It's a bad place. You could smell pot in the hallway. I am in the process of filing a complaint with Texas Department of State Health Services. Additionally, WoodSpring Suites - Austin is resisting me for a full refund. I am contacting them again today.

Horrible services, horrible management where everybody points fingers at each other and don’t take accountability. Manager has boyfriend living at hotel where they fist fight outside and we are supposed to be ok with it. Full of roaches and fees for changing linens

No problems other than the roaches. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with roaches and I travel so often that I spend more time in hotels than I do at home. I would have got another hotel but low availability for Easter weekend.

Apparently we were to late and they would not give us our room. The staff wouldnt Eben let us purchsse another room. We had to drice all the way back to waco at 2 am. And they will probably still charge my card! We are very unhappy

No room, no service, no stay

I had a confirmation of reservation and I got there and no record was found when I gave them my name or confirmation number. I asked if I could pay now and get a room for the night and the hotel attendants answer was I could only pay for a minimum of 3 nights. I showed the confirmation email I had received but this did no good and I said thank you and left. I had to pay for a hotel down the street.

Don’t book

Woke up to something crawling on my arm and found that it was a cockroach. When yo the bathroom and seen two more. Wifi was free for to then you had to pay for more. Very disappointed.

They post lower rates online and then up charge you when you check in and say the payment online is non-refundable. They then also claim a deposit of $100 and fraud you for “stealing a towel” to keep it. It is a shady business that needs to be taken down from Expedia.

I didn’t like it at all. The sheets and pillowcases were dirty and had stains there were roaches as soon as the lights were out. Outside you have basically a homeless camp in the parking lot. All around gross.

I never got to even stay here when I reserved and had to find a new place to stay last minute. Thankfully I was helped by Expedia to find a new place without additional charges of what I was going to pay for this location, but I was disappointed on how this place handled the situation and just hung up on me when I called to talk about the situation.

Wouldn’t Stay Again Unless I Absolutely Had To

My stay made it obvious why this hotel is only 2 stars but I did at least expect to have soap to wash our hands and toilet paper upon arrival. I’d also expect there to be some staff available even after hours as most hotels do for any basic needs. We had to wait until morning to receive a roll of toilet paper. We were also told we had to wash our own towels instead of being given new ones. Not sure if this is due to the busy ACL weekend but I didn’t come out on vacation to do laundry so that was a bummer.

PLEASE STAY AWAY! We had two rooms checked in. My wife and I were in one room with our one year old son. He started running around something to catch it...guess what it was? ROACHES!! The room was filled with roaches. Called to report but of course their front desk closes at 7 pm. So had to connect to after hour maintenance. She was helpful and told me to go down to the front desk where someone would meet me. Someone did but then said we do not have any other room available. After multiple requests, she finally placed us in another room. Still saw 1/2 roaches in this new room as well but we were so tired that we let it be. Come tomorrow morning shower time....NO SHOWER CURTAINS, NO SOAPS, NO SHAMPOO. Called in again but front desk does not open till 10 am. Someone on the call said we will provide at 10 am whereas the checkout itself is at 11 am. In the middle of the conversation, she hung up!! Luckily, our parents were in the other room and was able to get supplies from there room. This place is terrible and run by terrible management and rude staffs who have no respect and care for guests, their safety and health. Never again!! You should avoid it too!!!

It took us 30 minutes for an employee even to show up to the closed front desk. And then after waiting she was not prepared in the slightest to check anyone in we had to ask for our second room after she only issued us one from our booking. Once arriving to the room the beds were clean and nicely made, but upon being in the room further, by the kitchenette table and chairs there was blood splatter on the ground. It did the job for one night but I would not stay here again because of customer service and cleanliness, nor would I recommend anyone else to either.

First I was unable to get in contact with staff called over and over with no response. Finally got ahold of someone and got the key wen in the room and it was already occupied had all there belongings and trash out. Then I went back to the front desk another staff member came in and they showed me another room when we turned on the lights there was roaches crawling everywhere. The pictures they have up on website is not what they truly look like. I went 8/20/2021. Still have not received my refund back.

There Wes no room service or any kind of service at all. The front desk was closed all the time we stayed in the hotel (1 whole day). We saw roaches crawling inside our room. Since the front desk was closed we had to call the customer service every time even though it was not after hours. There was not even a coffee or coffee maker. When I called them they said we have to pay for the coffee maker. Disgusting!!! There were shady people in the parking lot loitering and littering and I saw them smoking and drinking just outside the entrance.

2 day stay

It was a budget stay for us, beds were fine. Shower press was low and when checking in, it took 25 minutes and bringing the manager to find our name which was right there, should have been 5 min max. Booked 2 rooms and 1 room had bugs and unclean bathrooms, other room was fine. Outside of the hours of 10-7, you need to call for someone to come to the desk to help you, but on checkout at 11, no one was there and had to wait 15 min. Definitely dont recommend this place as the go-to but if you are on a budget, then give it a chance.

Meh.

The front desk closes at 7pm. So we had to call a service, wait on hold forever, then wait for that service to reach the on-site attendant, then wait for them to come check us in. When the attendant showed up, she was clearly annoyed by our presence. All together, it took over 30 minutes to check in. Then got to our room which was cleanish, but the sealed plastic cups in the bathroom were unusable. One had water inside the sealed package the other had something that looked like ash inside the sealed package. How does that happen? Plastic cups are a little thing, but I t really made us uncomfortable with the overall cleanliness of our room.

Never again

We got there and the room was filthy. There were bags full of trash under the sink, trash in the fridge, grime in the tub and on the toilet, and suction cup marks and handprints on the headboard. They told us there were no other rooms available, and no one available to clean the room that day and that if we wanted to stay we would have to stay in it like that until they had someone to clean it. It took way too much arguing after that to get a refund.

Disappointed

I actually never got to stay here. They gave away my room and didn’t call me until later in the evening while I was in town on business and left me scrambling to secure other options. Mind you, this was graduation weekend and there is also a major event in Cedar Park that I came in for that was a mile from the hotel. Bad form.

The hotel was poorly managed. There was only one person working and she was cleaning rooms when we arrived. We waited 20 minutes for her to return to the front desk. Then she told us she had no reservation for us. She told us to go somewhere else. She seemed to have no support from her management. Not a good way to run a business.

Do NOT waste yout time or money

This is by far the worst hotel/hospitality experience I have ever experienced. The entire hotel had a single worker for cleaning and front desk which led to me not being able to checkin until 5pm when check in is stated at 3pm. After getting checked in we go past the lobby door and are immediately greeted with several smells of Various drugs and other uncomfortable smells. We get up to our room (426) and we have no pillow cases or toiletries as promised. The counters are dirty and the TV itself has old food and nasty handprints all over it. Needless to say we stayed checked in for a total of about an hour before leaving and now having completely wasted $100. WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT STAY HERE
