The property was beautiful and expansive. The variety of restaurants and the food was excellent. The beach was nice with easy access to the ocean for swimming. The push for membership was heavy and the “hard sell” was off-putting.
Me and my husband just returned from our honeymoon there and absolutely loved it! Very impressed and happy with the amount of restaurants and variety of food options (even just within the buffet itself!) We loved the hibachi experience at Spice- our chef was hilarious and put on a great show! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the preferred club and loved our tub on the balcony and adults only pool. The pool, beach, and ocean were all so great and just steps from each other! Our room was spacious, pretty, and comfy and the daily housekeeping was always great. We did a spa day at the resort and did a couples massage where we had great service as well. The resort seems to offer plenty of activities and entertainment and is very family friendly but our happy place was at the pool and our private tub at night :) We already miss the pool and all the food! We will definitely be back! Thank you for an incredible honeymoon. {Personally my biggest complaint/disappointment was not finding many options in the gift shop that had the resort name/logo on it. There was some hats and quite a few men’s shirts with the name, but I was hoping to find a cute women’s tank top or sweatshirt or even a magnet.}
It was fine
There were good things and bad things about Dreams Jade. The good things were: The staff was always friendly. The Spa was absolutely gorgeous. The kids Explorers club was great. My daughter really enjoyed spending time there and asked to go there even when we didn't have anything else to do. Being right next to the place where you can swim with Dolphins was nice. It was nice being at an all-inclusive resort where we didn't have to worry about where to go eat or even the logistics of all eating together. People could just eat when they wanted. The food at the French restaurant and the Mediterranean restaurant was fabulous. The bad things were: The service at the sit down restaurants was always friendly, but always terribly, terribly slow. If you're the sort of person who likes to sit down and talk and drink for a couple hours, it would be fine, but slow service at a restaurant is a personal pet peeve of mine, and I hate feeling like I'm wasting time just sitting there for 10 minutes waiting for the menus, and sitting there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order, and sitting there for a half hour waiting for the food. We never got in and out in less than an hour and 20 minutes, and that's without having to wait for a bill or to pay a bill. The quality of the food was mixed. We had dishes at some of the restaurants that were borderline terrible, like worse than a bad Denny's dinner. The buffet food was generally lower quality buffet food.
More options at buffet for dinner service
Staff was very accommodating and super friendly
Staff were very helpful and kind. I would stay there again because of this
Beautiful property with great staff. It was a very nice trip.
Pay $800/day to wait in line everywhere, have rude staff, rooms not ready at check in, rooms different than what was booked. Go elsewhere. Very poor experience. They don't take reservations for restaurants, can't provide accurate wait times, you're pretty much stuck eating two star resort slop unless you luck out at one of the a la carte restaurants.
Great place, very nice accommodations, the food is good and the beach is excellent.
Liked everything, what i didnt like was Amstar “service”. Amstar transportation was great, but the fact that at the airport they tell you , you can have $400 spa credit if you join us for VIP breakfast, then you end up in a “sales presentation “ for hour and a half, thats not right
Resort was perfect. Plenty of beach and poolside chairs. Suhjei was amazing and so friendly and fun. We enjoyed Zumba, mojito, pool games and the bonfire. The bonfire was probably our favorite with Amara and Suhjei. We had a group of 8 and all enjoyed the resort!
Although this resort is tierd it is clean. The people are fantastic. However there were NEVER enough sun loungers and no quite pool.Vacation weddings took up space around pool, dining room ans beach. You need to have space just for weddings. Oscar in spa was amazing.
Absolutely AMAZING staff. Everyone here knows what customer service is all about. I spent 21 nights and never tired of the food and looked forward to every meal. They have an entertainment team at the pool which makes it so much more fun whether you are participating or just watching. The kids club also goes above and beyond. You know that when your kids wake up and ask when they can go back that it's impressive.
Everything was perfect! The staff was by far the most accommodating and friendly of any all-inclusive I’ve ever stayed at. Edgar in VIP services and gave us a quick tour upon arrival and made sure we had all the info we needed for our stay. He checked in on us daily and took great care of all of our needs. All of the bartenders and wait staff were friendly and seemed to love their jobs. Our room was wonderful and more than I expected. We were in room 4114 which was a great location. The noise was never an issue for us but you can hear activity in the commons area. Close to pools, shops & restaurants. The buffet food was good for a buffet with stations set up for omelets and tacos etc made to order.. We didn’t get a chance to try Spice because you have to make reservations between 3p-4p and we didn’t want to stop what we were doing to make reservations. The other restaurants were great though! And 24 hour room service was useful for the evenings we accidently napped through dinner time after long days in the sun! As other reviews mentioned there aren’t enough chairs at the pool or beach so if that’s important to you get down there early. It wasn’t a major inconvenience for us as we just found a spot near the pool for our stuff until chairs opened up. Puerto Morelos is a $12 taxi ride and was fun to wander around and shop. Very safe! Definitely check it out! We will be back!
Great layout for a resort with easily walkable distances to everything. Great food options and service. Beautiful grounds with a main garden from the lobby to side garden with lovely vegetation to set it apart from other resorts. Great pools with wonderful temperatures. Even when fully booked, doesnt feel overwhelming. We will be looking for more Dreams locations for our next winter getaway.
Friendly staff and good food
an ok stay
Dreams Jade was lovely! The room was clean and spacious and the grounds were meticulously kept The food was above aberage compared to other all inclusive resorts weve been to and everyone who works there made us feel special and welcome! The vibe of the place was relaxed and slow and so it was perfect for couples and families but singles looking for some avtion might choose a different resort That being said there was nightly entertainment, live music, water games and always something to do! The gorgeous pools and close proximity to the beach, just steps away were my favorite part of the place!
The resort was great! All the workers were very friendly and answered all the questions we had. Something I would’ve liked is to get a small tour around the area to get an idea of where certain buildings were located such as the spa. The Hyatt app was very helpful with scheduling services and also seeing what activities were being offered for the week! Will definitely return in the future :)
Absolutely fabulous resort. Can’t wait to go back! 5 star on everything!
It was amazing! They had incredible service! The resort was always clean and well run. The food was not oo ahh wow but it was not bad.
All staff very pleasant except in buffet. Cleanliness good, we had small flies in our room entire time, even after a thorough deep clean. Front desk said it is that time of year for them,
Property was very pretty but definitely needed updating. We were in a preferred room but never had the mini bar stocked with the “normal” preferred amenities even when asked or requested. Check in and check out was very easy. The buffet was okay, I would try to eat at the specialty restaurants if I was a guest reading this review. The shower water temperature never did get hot, housekeeping was very attentive to the room. My daughter woke up on Day 3 covered in what appears to be bed bug bites and when attempting to merely just ask them to perform a special cleaning/treatment to the bed, the concierge became very offensive, stating that I was wrong even though I am a nurse and do know what bed bug bites look like. The drinks were okay and you could tell that the liquor was definitely watered down. The preferred alcohol in my opinion was generic liquor that was poured into a top shelf bottle. For the price they charge per person per night, it does not match up to the other Dreams Resorts I have stayed at. The night life is lacking but the crowd here is very much of geriatric population. The beach water pretty and it was nice to be able to swim in the ocean but most of the beach was rocky so you had to pay close attention to your footing.
Such a beautiful resort and was perfect for kids!
Great beach, good restaurants, very good service.
Great personal service, excellent staff
Dreams Jade is perfect size for family. We attended a wedding. It was beautiful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Truly felt relaxed. Only complaint was that the unit above us was undergoing renovation so there was nonstop drilling and pounding during the day. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay at the property.
It’s old and dated.
Average resort at Best. Food is all the same between bus pay and restaurants always overcooked. They use the same food and all locations. All restaurants aren’t open every day. Spent our first night in a room with feces smell. Took him an entire day to transfer to another room had same problem. Saw the server and my wife creamer. Did he poured from another cup off a table into hers. All food overcooked.. property in poor condition. If you’re looking for a bar to get served cheap liquors and get drunk only this is it.
Beautiful resort, fantastic stay, wonderful and friendly staff!
Nice and clean
Great staff and lovely place to stay
The staff was amazing, the highlights were Pamela, Dylan and the Mexican chocolate. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. Everybody in the staff definitely is focused on customer experience. The room was very nice and always clean. The reason this resort didn’t get a full five stars is some of the restaurants were great such as the hibachi and Italian, but the majority of the food was below average and even had days when those restaurants were closed which I find odd. Even though places said that they closed at a certain time the majority of them closed early, including bars and restaurants. The only option for late night eating was a small café that was good, but not what we expected. The pool area was nice and clean. The beach was nice. I do wish that I would have been told that my room was not actually on the ocean. I could just kind of see it from my room. I also find it odd that they closed a portion of the preferred pool for a wedding and kicked people out of their lounge chairs. All in all I can say what makes this resort worth It is the staff because they are all extremely nice, but I was really expecting much better amenities. There is a small chance of me coming back because of it but for a first time experience in Mexico it was not bad and I did overall enjoy it.
You could see the ocean from almost every area of the resort. The pools were gorgeous and the resort was quiet. The staff were beyond helpful.
Dreams Jade did not dissappint. The staff were all amazing. The buffett was smaller than some but decent food. Room service was nice. This resort is in our rotation now.
Good stay, quiet
Excellent resort!
Very good food and friendly staff
Beautiful property, customer service was great, would definitely recommend!
Loved the resort very nice, staff was all friendly. Only complaint was some of the drinks were not very good.
My family and I simply had a fantastic time. No complaints at all
Didn't enjoy the long waits for restaurants
Everything is perfect
The food was low quality, there was a wait for every single meal, sometimes up to an hour. They are clearly understaffed. Not enough chairs around pool and beach. Entertainment was below average it was simply not a pleasant experience.
We recently stayed at your property for 5 nights and 6 days, and while we appreciated certain aspects, there were areas where our experience fell short. 1. Room Experience: We booked a junior suite with an ocean view but received a room with a pool view and partial ocean view, which was not indicated during booking. When we inquired, we were directed to Expedia, and to get the oceanfront view we expected, we paid an additional ~$60day.This was disappointing, especially as Expedia advertises free upgrades, which seems misleading. 2. Property (5/5): The property was beautifully maintained, clean, and well-decorated. 3. WiFi (2/5): WiFi service was inconsistent. 4. Entertainment (4/5): The entertainment team and poolside activities and the nightly shows were enjoyable. 5. Drinks: The quality of alcoholic drinks was below expectations, as they seemed to use cheap and weak alcohol. 6. Room Amenities: While the minibar was stocked with canned drinks and bottled water, it lacked snacks. 7. Food (2/5): The food quality was a major disappointment. - Buffets lacked variety. - While restaurants offered friendly service and didn’t require reservations, the food was subpar. Meals were often lukewarm, seafood cold, and meats overcooked. This was unexpected for a premium-priced all-inclusive experience. And gave me food poisoning! Overall, while we enjoyed the property and activities, the misleading room details, food quality, and drink standards were significant letdowns.
Overall, it was good.
My kids had fun, so that was great. But, they weren't in awe of the facility. They need to update their equipment for the outdoor athletic courts. We had two big maintenance issues (a leak and a/c was not working) in our room. They fixed them, but they shouldn't have happened in an expensive hotel. Especially the leak, it had been patched before and they just patched it again. I was very happy they gave us the VIP upgrade to the premium club, but the $200 upgrade was a hoax and we didn't use any of the "coupons" as they had a lot of limitations. The buffet is good, but they need to replenish it more. They literally wait until a food is almost gone to replenish and sometimes they didn't replenish at all. I would rate this hotel as "good" and 3.5-4 stars. The pools were great (not heated as stated) so a hot cold in December. The food was really good so no complaints there. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but my kids enjoyed it so that is all that mattered as my husband and I usually stay at 5 star adults only places.
I think this resort is more family and senior. I find it to be boring. The food was just ok. Not black ppl friendly.
It was awesome!
1) The hotel internet connection was poor and got disconnected all the times. People rely on the internet for everything nowadays. This was very inconvenient and not acceptable. 2) The food quality of most restaurants was poor except the Asia restaurant. The buffet choice was very limited. The shrimp dish only had tiny shrimps. 3) One of our ocean view rooms can barely see the ocean. 4) One of our rooms have many things broken: safe, telephone, shower room window curtain, missing a whole body mirror. 5) most of the beaches of the hotel are rocky and cannot swim. Only a small section of the beach can swim. 6) we booked a snorkeling tour from the hotel tour desk. We were told that the tour would be 45 minute snorkeling in 2 places by national reefs. But the actual tour was only one stop in the middle of nowhere. We spent most of our time swimming and only saw a few grey fishes. It was a scam.
We loved our stay. Rooms need a refresh and 1 restaurant wasnt very good but otherwise excellent
Awesome experience
Service is great but the rooms appear old and my room was hot. They also try to sell you on the time share vacation package. Another thing, the beach is great but trying to get in the water is hard due to rhe terrain, theres allot of sharp rocks.
The staff is amazing.... they always ran out of food and the rooms are dirty... not 5 star
We were there the end of October for the first time and we had an amazing time. The resort is a little on the smaller side which we didn’t mind cause it was an easy walk to just a bout everything. The staff were very friendly and the restaurants were top notch. Also, loved the fact that it was a short walk down the beach to swim with the dolphins. We will definitely be back next year and I can’t wait.
They upgraded us to a beautiful room because I asked for a quiet room.
The property was wonderful and the staff was friendly. I found the discounted VIP promotion confusing and felt pressured to join the club.
My fiance and I had a perfect stay at Dreams Jade, the entertainment staff were engaging, the restaurant options were good, beach was stunning and the pools were always kept clean. We will definitely be returning!
Poor quality
Dreams Jade Resort in Mexico has some positives, including nice facilities, comfortable rooms, and a beautiful beach. However, the all-inclusive experience is a major letdown. The food is practically inedible, drinks are made with bottom-shelf liquor, and the service is consistently poor. The Preferred Club adds no meaningful value and isn’t worth the extra cost. While the setting is lovely, the overall experience falls very short of expectations. Avoid.
Dreams Jade staff are really great. But the facility wasn’t up to par compared to others. For it to be peak season, just wasn’t like other times at other All Inclusive resorts. The beach was a mess, what beach they have, rocks everywhere, not enough seating, you have to walk forever to get a drink or your kids a snack. People are nice, but the resort was not worth the money we spent.
Nice and quiet
Good
Bad food, buffet not great, not kid Friendly, beach bad quality so many rocks can’t even get into ocean. Speciality restaurants good and accessible. Beds comfortable. Would not say this felt like a 5 start resort
The food options were horrid at the beginning of my 7-day stay. Everything on the buffet was cold-to-warm at best. By the fourth day, the buffet was a lot better with serving hot food. Next, some of the waitstaff have biases. If your skin is brown, expect to receive slower service. The themed restaurants were okay, except Spice. I dont know if I went on the worse day they've ever had but the food was not edible. I literally left everything on the table and opted for the buffet instead. Rice was mushy, 2 ribs had a bottle of BBQ sauce, the vegetables in the fried rice look like what you'd pick from under your fingernails. Just a really unpleasant experience. Also, heads up...they'll tell you to lineup at 315pm for the Hibachi table reservations but allow people to fill the list before 3pm. The entertainment is okay if you're otherwise bored and you'll probably be bored. The pool closes at 7pm nightly (the pool isn't heated). The Pirate Show was not appropriate for children, the Pirate just making men dance like women and jump in each others arms. The Mexican Show had a portion that was inappropriate, the male dancers purposely looking under the women dancers wardrobe. Next, l did the timeshare presentation. Well, I attempted to do the timeshare presentation. I guess this is another issue when having brown skin. The presenter ONLY showed the lounge and bar area to boast on having top shelf liquor. I couldn't tell anyone what a room looks like.
We had a wonderful week at Dreams Jade. The food was excellent and all the staff were helpful and so friendly!
Excellent massage
Nice room layout but bathrooms smell of urine. Foods, entertainment, and services are one of the worst resort in Mexico. Will never stay here again.
Amazing staff. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. Everybody is nice and reapectful. Anything you need will be done for you. Amazing time! 10 stars. Clean and fun. MUST STAY ON PREFFERED SIDE, wonderful experience 😀 amazing ocean views 💙
We liked the room. The staff were fantastic. Everyone friendly and helpful. Martin the front desk manager and Alberto on his staff were incredibly helpful with an issue we had with our booking. An option we chose through Expedia was not conveyed to the hotel. But Martin and Alberta fixed the situation quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed the teppanyaki restaurant the most. Our chef Miguel was amazing. Some of the other restaurants weren’t amazing. Overall we had a good experience.
Great stay
Rhe resort has potential and the staff are really trying to give good serbut the resort is not able to handle the amount of people. Too many weddings and events, long lines in rhe morning to get inside the restaurant and more lines inside to get the ffod. I've been to many resorts and I never need to wait that long. Too bad, I've been in this resort before Covid and it was great, this time I was disappointed.
The restaurant's options. The staff was very friendly. Edwin (the waiter) provided excellent service. Angel (the chocolate angel) entertained us at the pool. In general, we are delighted about our stay in this resort.
Great resort, lots to do, great food, entertainment was good
I didn't like beds are small...i asked for assistance with my 6 years old kid ...he got food poison....they told me you have to pay 175$...just medical staff to take a look....I'm sure he'll say he is ok....i can't give this hotel good review...he got food poison from this hotel....i don't want to investigate this matter...but i won't give good review
The view of the beach from the pool was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. We never felt like we were bothering anyone, the customer service was definitely exceptional. We just kept thinking, we can’t wait to come back here.
Great
Professional, friendly staff, everyone was willing to help you and do the best possible to make sure you are taking care
I liked the beach, and the staff are the best.
Excellent service
An excellent property with awesome staff who were always attentive to every need.
Perfect place to relax. LOVED the staff, Suge & Lizzie (entertainers) were so amazing & friendly. Went out of their way to create thank you boxes for my bff & I who were out there celebrating her 30th. Isabel (spa service provider) was an absolute doll. She did her absolute best to get us the best bang for our buck. Lourdes (buffet server) sweetest thing ever!! Remembered every detail & was extremely attentive. Eider (beach server) amazing service, funny & paid attention to detail.
First time staying at a dreams property and was thrilled by the entire experience. Highly recommend. ☺️
Good place
It was beautiful. They went above for my girlfriend and I.
Our concierge Ross is what made the trip from good to excellent. He went above and beyond to exceed expectations. We paid to upgrade our room to the Governors suite and was pleasantly surprised when we changed rooms for part of our stay. Property is well maintained and food very good.
Food were great.
Food was amazing , beach was beautiful and pool was just right! Unreal place!
Such a relaxing stay. The staff is definitely the best part of this resort.
I contacted the property many times trying to arrange for something special for my twin sons' birthday. I finally received a message back that they would make sure to do something.I bid to upgrade my room to ocean front, and won. When we arrived at the hotel, we were early to check in so we had to wait. No one offered to take our luggage. I sat with our luggage while my family swam. When going to see if the room is ready, the front desk explained that there was a mix up in the costs and that I owed $700 more and that I couldn't have the upgraded room. The hotel was not sold out, and if the room was available, why couldn't they let that go? I paid the extra $700, how could I not, and went to the original room. When we arrived to the room the blinds in the bathroom were broken, so we couldn't shower or use the tub in private, and there were strange marks on the headboard. Dinner at the hibachi grill was AMAZING. Miguel was a fantastic chef, and put on quite the show. The next day, I asked the front desk again if they could do something special for my boys and they said they would.During the buffet lunch, my son's pork had hair on it, and there was a stick in my food. We ordered room service via the app. The app said 20 minutes. After 90 minutes, I called to cancel because we were wiped and were falling asleep. 20 min later, asleep, the food showed. I asked again for something special for the birthday. My sons' never received ANYTHING special for their birthday.
We liked how walkable the resort was and all the different food options. The views are spectacular and the staff are incredibly welcoming
I enjoyed the resort because it is similar to a cruise. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Book it!
My wife and I loved our stay here! We came for a wedding, and every part of the stay from check in to check out was incredible. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the resort itself was beautiful, and views were stunning. Lots of dining options and variety (including the best fish tacos I’ve had). Cannot say enough good things about the place.
Staff went above and beyond. Every restaurant was perfect. Spa day is a must! So good!! Pools were perfect. Beach was gorgeous
Property was gorgeous. Beautiful views, jacuzzi tub in room. Fun activities to choose from. Pirate show was like a variety, talent show. It was our favorite! Foodcwas very good and staff was so friendly. Downside was sales. They do give you good perks for attending but we cancelled our apt to attend. Also, $200 cash to spend is deceiving. Its coupons for small discounts on expensive spa treatments or dinner on beach, etc. We didnt even spend any of it because the cost to use the coupon was a big extra.
Preferred clun ocean front room was perfect. Excellent staff
Everyone was so nice. Food was delicious. The resort and pool is beautiful.
Very relaxing
The property and the staff were completely amazing! We received a free upgrade to the governors suite and it was so spacious and clean. Spice and Cin Cin were our most favorite restaurants. The buffet could have been a little better. I am a huge fan of breakfast but they didn’t have any bacon or sausage. That was a little disappointing. It would have been nice to have more variety with the entertainment. Overall, everything was great and we plan to return. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.
Amazing

Nice spot for short vacation. Attended a wedding and it was very nice.
