It was amazing
Wonderful stay
Top notch location, Hotel, Team, food and stay. Breakfast service was way too slow though. It's the only place we will consider when we return.
Good stay
Great stay, staff was friendly, and fun to interact with. Enjoyed the local wine and the free cookies at the front desk.
The hotel was very clean and accommodating.
Everything was really good!
Staff is amazing! I believe it was Janet that helped check me in and took care of me throughout. The extra cookies were very much appreciated.
Hhh
good
I think I enjoyed it and I'm planning to come back next year
Of the things that were nice is having the app that could easily check you in and out as well as getting you in and out of the property and your room. Parking was plentiful. It was quiet enough although there was a strange sound that happened every 30 minutes or so outside our window (almost like a fire cracker?). I just put in ear plugs. The brief interaction that I had with staff was very nice and they check in via text message and were very pleasant and accommodating. My issues were around cleanliness. The towels had a couple stains and one had a hair. The t.v. remote didn't allow for us to change the channel unless you input an actual channel number (very inconvenient) and no channel guide, either. Overall, for a one night stay, it wasn't the best and not terrible enough that we had to leave, either.
Staff was wonderful ! Would have liked to be able to watch tv while soaking in the jacuzzi tub.
Fine hotel
Went to check into the hotel with my children for a weekend cheer competition. I was told the reservation was cancelled by the hotel 30 minutes prior to arriving. I was told that they tried to charge a card on my account prior to my arrival and the card was expired so they cancelled it. I also had a valid card linked to my account that they did not try. I was not notified about any of this until we were trying to check in. Then we were told that the rooms were all booked and they had already given our room up. The booking was still showing up in Expedia as booked. No notification of cancellation. No apologies or anything from the hotel manager. Very poor experience.
Great stay! Definitely be back!
Very professional service. Clean and comfortable room. Excellent food. And of course the cookies 🍪 😋 delicious
Nice place
Everything has been just fine. Nice spacious room. Lots of TV channels to choose.
The staff was wonderful and we love the pool and hot tub!
Good location
The stay was great. We had an issue with our room. Josh accommodated us with such great professionalism and care. Will definitely be back!
Booked two River view rooms with balcony. One of the rooms had heating issues, so they switched that with a no-balcony room. I contacted hotels.com, but wasn’t compensated fairly given the hassles. Other than that, it was quite a good stay for a night. Clean rooms, great river views, and a good restaurant for breakfast.
This property was very clean and nice. Pool area was well maintained and the rooms were very clean. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful.
Great stay, I just didn’t like that we had to pay for parking with all the money I spent for the room parking should’ve been included
It was very clean and quiet and you can walk to places
Everything
It was amazing, clean, quiet and restaurant/bar was the boom
Exceptional hospitality…
It’s at a great location
H
Excelent stay
Place was cool. You pay for parking and breakfast
Nice hotel close to the Niagara Falls Park.
Muy bueno
It was a great place for me to get away from work for a few days
I booked this property for the new year- 2 nights stay. I am listing the reasons I will never be back to this property: 1. The hot tub was out of service for our whole stay 2.The pool water was so unclean and also cold for the winter time. 3. The whole 9 story hotel had 2 elevators which one of them was out of service and during the new year eve, we had to climb up the stairs since we got tired of waiting, many other hotel guests did. 4. The breakfast area was soooo cold, I asked a staf if any of the windows were open; she said no and said she felt the same and she caught cold. 5. We paid for the breakfast buffet and it wasn’t bad. But during one of our breakfast buffets, they ran out of the bowls and we had to use the take out bowls for our kids. I have to add that, expedia supported us for the pool conditions and we received a partial refund. We booked this hotel since it had a pool option and without that option in the winter time, we didn’t know how to update our trip plan for kids entertainment.
Old and outdated.
Location for the property was excellent!! Staff was great only problem was the pool had so many chemicals we couldn’t stand to be in the room and my kids eyes were burning and swallowing up they had to get out. So they were very upset when I had to say no more swimming. You can imagine how well that went over
NYE stay
We went on NYE, I booked a room w a balcony thinking that we could watch the fireworks over the falls at midnight. I even spoke with someone at the reception desk before I booked. The hotel was extremely busy, which is fine because it was New Year's and there was a wedding. For as large a hotel as it was, the elevator situation was insane. We were waiting 10+ for the elevator. We were unable to see the fireworks from our balcony. It was very loud in our room since we were I'm assuming, right above the reception hall (until about 1am). There were also cobwebs on the ceiling of our room. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was spacious. The beds were comfortable. And the staff were friendly. I wasn't wowed for the price but it was okay.
Nice Stay, but the Eggnog… Yikes Overall, the hotel was pretty good. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It’s clear they put effort into making guests feel welcome, and for the most part, they succeeded. But then there was the spiked eggnog at the bar. Oh, where do I even begin? I was expecting a festive holiday treat, but what I got tasted like someone distilled Christmas spirit into industrial cleaner. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience—one I’d recommend avoiding at all costs. It’s safe to say the bartender wasn’t in the holiday spirit, unless that spirit was pure ethanol.
We stayed here for 2 nights for New Years Great hotel. We ate at their Restaurant for both breakfast and New Years Dinner. Breakfast you have a choice of the breakfast buffet or you can order off the menu. We chose the 2 egg breakfast with all the trimmings. It was delicious. We were a little disappointed in the New Years Eve menu of surf and turf. The steak was delicious the lobster tail was very small with the shell off. Looked like the lobster tail was cut in half. 3 spears of asparagus. That was a disappointment for 75 US. We like this property and would certainly go back again.
Location was great!! The jacuzzi was broken in the hotel pool but they graciously let us upgrade to a room with jacuzzi tub for free. 😊
Easy check in. Bar staff friendly.
This hotel had an amazing staff
The young woman who worked at the reception desk when we arrived at around 10pm was absolutely incredible. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and hospitable, and got us into our room as quickly as possible. She upgraded our room for us and gave us a free parking pass after she found out we were newly wed that day and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. I don’t remember her name, but she had a slight English accent - please let her know we appreciate her help!
It was nice and close to walk the falls and nearby shopping
Hot tub was horrible. Chlorine was so strong it burned our skin and eyes and it was dirty. We were really looking forward to it and was very disappointed
Everything was great!
this stay was enjoyable
We enjoyed having dining on the property and not having to go out in the cold.
It was great!
Nicr hotel
I'm so so so happy we stayed here.. so close to the casino but far enough. Room and bed was perfect.. also the restaurant had great drinks and food
It was quiet like I like it. I love the walk distance to the falls and other areas. Absolutely pleased with the attitude of the staff. I did not think if we are staying on the property we should be charged for parking. That wouldn’t stop me from going back but we shouldn’t be charged for parking.
The staff were nice and easy to deal with the only thing i didn’t like was my room smelled terrible and the shower was gross looked like it haven't been cleaned in months.
Very good
Liked the size of the room Liked the dining experience
The view towards the river is beautiful and the room was very clean. 10/10
Niagaara trip
Beautiful hotel. Breakfast 1st day had problem with incorrect order. Bar out of Jack Daniels for 3 days I finally bought and donated a bottle.
The hotel smelled like sewer on the 7th floor really bad. You have to pay for parking, the beds were horrible to sleep in and you could hear every noise in the hallways and neighbors room even with tv on
I was only in town briefly for an event. To the front desk staff when I checked in and out was simply. They were warm, friendly and sooo helpful. When I plan my vacay to see the falls in 2025, I will make sure that I stay at this location.
Right on the Niagara River. Walkable to the Falls. Nice staff. Very well-appointed.
Windows were dirty, and mold in refrigerator. Other than that is was a good stay.
It was nice that it wasn't right downtown. Close enough to get to everything. Downside the beds were horrendous. Wooden platforms that moved when getting on them. Thats the only thing that would keep me from rebooking.
This hotel is definitely a good choice for those who want to explore Niagara Falls. My objective rating is 4 stars, because there are pros and cons. Pros: 1. Good location (close to the main attractions). 2. Comfortable, clean, and safe. 3. Attentive and friendly service staff, restaurant with good food. Upon check-in and check-out, the front desk offers various treats. It was very nice 😁. 4 affordable prices. Cons: 1. No bottled water in the room. How the hell can you not leave no one bottle of water for a few cents in the room with a coffee maker? Yes, there are vending machines with water on the floor for $ 3. It's not about money but about basic convenience. 2. The pool was dirty and it was not cleaned during our stay, so we could not use it. 3. Even though you book a room and are a member of the Hilton honors you cannot manage digital services (check-in, room selection, etc.) until you check in personally at the front desk. Overall, my family liked it and I definitely recommend this hotel as a good option for your vacation. I hope my objective review will be useful to others, as well as informative for management. Have a nice vacation!
Everything was great. Tasty food, polite staff. But there was a dirty jacuzzi and a lot of hair on the towels in the room.
My Niagara favorite place
Amazing staying and close to many attractions.
The hotel room was very spacious! For a family of 5.
Thank you see you again
Amazing view of River (but pay for parking)
The hotel was beautiful and had a wonderful deck out back with a view of the river. The room was nice and spacious and modern. My only complaint is that we had to pay for a parking pass $15/day separate from our booking fee. On a Saturday night there was an event at the hotel and the lot was completely full without a space to park even though we paid for a pass. I wish parking would be reserved to paying guests only and not taken by visitors for events.
The only thing lacking was staff in the dining area.
Really good hotel to enjoy the views of the Niagara River and the park with the falls. In walkable distance to everything needed and the park itself. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good restaurant in the hotel itself.
Staff very friendly, and loved their cookies!
Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, toilet seat was loose but maintenence fixed immediately, exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work, grout was stained in places, room was quiet, hot tub was great except for sand all over the seats, no microwave in room, mini fridge barely got cold, grounds were well maintained, bar and restaurant seemed very nice although we didn't patronize it. The charge for parking seems ridiculous for a, paying guest, pool was nice
The staff was friendly
The location was very close to attractions. Rooms were very nice and quiet. The restaurant and bar were great.
Great place for Niagara Falls
The front desk staff were amazing! Super friendly and handled all our issues quickly. We did have some housekeeping problems but other than that it was a great stay.
The customer service was outstanding at the hotel, but lacking if you call and speak to an operator. The dining selection at the restaurant inside was not kid friendly at all. The bed was too soft, and the pillows were flat, thin, and not great for sleeping on. We bought some at Target for our stay after the first night. The hotel was clean, quiet, and had a great view on the 4th floor balcony of our room. It was great for access to the walking trails around the state park.
Great Stay
Beautiful room and very convenient to lots of sightseeing. Concierge was wonderful in helping us book a day trip to the falls.
I liked the place and my suit but then when I went to shower I realized there was a mold on shower wall besides that it was okay.
Good for the view, meh for the experience
We got the river-facing rooms and were quite content with the views from the 7th and 8th floors + the proximity from everything else. The neighborhood felt very safe even after dark. The rooms are big but old-ish. Air-conditioning is old style so they make a loud noise when the compressor turns on. My only problem was the service. I had read mixed reviews about the staff already and totally understand why. I communicated with two front desk reps - one was extremely polite (Josh) and the other (name not known) lacked grace. I was also required to make multiple trips to pick up my own creamers and waters - of which waters apparently weren’t supposed to be given out. I was told that I might want to reconsider asking for any again because I could piss some staff member off. I mean I booked two rooms for two nights at $350 a night. The service felt subpar even for a budget hotel.
Perfect place to stay on our trip.
Good hotel and staff
Very nice staff and room!!

Great location within easy walking distance of the falls via walking paths through the river front park. Excellent restaurant and bar on first floor with indoor/outdoor seating. Nice pool and hot tub on lower level. Very friendly staff.
Everything was good
Not my usual Hilton brand experience
Hotel was bit worn. A cabinet under tv had a broken door, bathroom door had a damaged mark because rubber door stop was missing and window treatment looked a little shabby. It just looked like it needed a little live. Also charged for parking, I do not remember that being mentioned before the fact.
Clean
What I liked about the hotel is that it is within 5 minutes walking distance from the Niagara Falls park.
I like to staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and definitely recommend for others to thanks.
Perfect place to stay and walk to all area attractions and restaurants. Easy free parking. Great rooms. Wonderful staff. We feel like we picked the perfect spot to stay and enjoy the Falls
Amazing location, had a great view !
