A great sea view stay

I booked a partial sea view stay on my birthday. The hotel faces a harbour but I got a view of the beach and part harbour. In addition to this they left me a plate of delicious cakes. The bed was so soft that I fell asleep and watched a wonderful JLO movie. Thank you for a wonderful stay Marriott Gdynia and I hope to come back again. You are a wonderful hotel. xx

Marriott Courtyard Gdynia -sadly a bad experience

I booked a room with a king or queen bed but actually got twin, separated single beds with the result that on two nights, I became wedged between the two beds. The shower head was frozen in one position - too low for a person of average height, exacerbated by the fact that it was a shower within a bathtub, so I could not have a decent shower. The service was the worst I have experienced in my last 100 hotels during the past ten years, I always book 4 star in order to get the level of service and comfort expected of a quality hotel, but that failed to materialise at the Marriott Courtyard Gdynia. In the past JW Marriott hotels have been good, but the Gdynia Courtyard experience has taught me to be very wary in the future and to avoid Marriott Courtyard.

Overall great experience. Very clean hotel with very friendly and attentive staff.

Lovely hotel and the staff are amazing, the room was a good size, the beds very comfortable and we had a really good night sleep. Unfortunately we had a few technical problems with the TV and the shower gel was definitely below par for me, sorry

Good clean place by the sea. Convenient location. Staff friendly and professional. Food and drinks need improvement but we’re passable. Only negative- parking was a hassle (had to park off-site in a sketchy lot) and cost 50 zl per night. If they have limited parking on site (underground parking), they should let customers choose the parking venue while they are making the reservations. I made reservations well in advance and then they tell me their hotel parking is full. Not good business!

Amazing location with restaurant just 15 meter from marina waters and all the ships. We were upgraded marina view room😊 24h gym facility. 200meters from public beach and few steps away from a row of restaurants and amusement park. In my opinion BEST hotel in Gdynia. Highly recommended 👍

Very nice hotel, good location and surprisingly good restaurant. Staff is very friendly, although the reception staff don't entirely listen when being asked something. The restaurant staff is phenomenal.

This is an excellent location. Hands down the nicest hotel in town. The view out the Oceanside rooms is well worth it. I have stayed twice now and thoroughly enjoy myself each time.

The room was spacious, very clean and so quiet! All staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The security people even checked on us while we were waiting outside for our transport - to see if we needed anything. Would recommend this hotel. Very central to everything too.

If your staying more than a few days I'd definitely recommend somewhere else, especially if your travel is flexible. The location isn't bad but everything is seriously overpriced. The gym is a joke, breakfast has to be the most expensive meal you can find in all of Poland. Parking is way overpriced, cheaper to pay the meter. *Last but most importantly, if there's the slightest chance your dates could change.. they will not work with you although the hotels.com will.

Every time you need to leave hotel parking lot, you have to validate parking ticket in the front desk. With people checking in ang checking out its very inconvenient.

Great location. Rooms are very comfortable, specious and modern. The view was great, even tho the weather wasn’t great I can just imagine how beautiful is it in spring/summer time. One one negative, wish the breakfast at the hotel was a little bit cheaper as I do think it is over priced.

Nice Stay by the Beach

We stayed for Business for three weeks. We found the hotel to be very efficient, smooth check in, friendly staff in all areas. Restaurant nice fresh food at both Breakfast and Lunch. Hotel is literally on the waterfront easy walking distance to many restaurants and bars, a very nice area. Would come back to visit for Leisure purposes

Pleasant hotel close to the waterfront

On arrival at the hotel the staff were very courteous and friendly. Check-in was very efficient. Rooms were clean, but rather basic. Bathroom lacked storage space for toiletries. We used the hotel restaurant on several occasions, the menu was good, and the service excellent. The bar was well stocked and again the service was excellent. We enjoyed our stay there and would consider using this hotel again.

Visiting Gdynia parkrun

I work for the global running movement called parkrun, and was in Gdynia for the weekend to attend our local event. The hotel was outstanding in every respect and provided a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.

Gdynia stay

Great hotel friendly bar and checkin staff. My only issue was being kept waiting for a bowl for cereal at breakfast time asked three different members of staff and waited 10 mins no explanation no apology then had to ask again for a spoon. I was left feeling dining staff were a bit non communicative as a result. The views from the room and bar are great and Idid enjoy my stay andI would certainly stay again if the price is right.

Great Hotel, poor staff

Hotel with potential thanks to great location & design.Unprofessional staff brings the score down. A few examples. Sun 27th March late dinner. We arrived in the restaurant at 10PM, the restaurant was not busy (3 tables in use). For good 15mins nobody came to our table despite one of the waiters saw us entering the restaurant. There was at least 3 waiters but they seemed to be busy with other things (talking to each other, walking to the bar etc). After 15mins my partner went to find the waiter, placed an order for food and asked him to come to the table to take order for drinks. By 22.35 nobody came back - I went to the restaurants desk and asked for service again, then the waiter came with food but we still did not have the chance to order drinks. The waiter described this as misunderstanding; finally we placed order for drinks which came at 22.45, when we were finishing food. Well done Marriott!! Saturday 26th March: the TV and the telephone in my room was not working. After calling the reception - a gentleman came to fix the problems (probably from security as he did not introduce himself). He managed to fix the TV but not the telephone and announced in colloquial Polish "we are where we are - nothing can be done". Then he left the room without Good Bye or Good Night. All staff looked very junior and inexperienced, whether this was restaurant or the reception. I did not have the feeling that there was someone in charge that knows how to run the quality hotel.

Waterfront delight

A very good brand new hotel in the center of town. Staff was very polite and attentive. Good restaurant. Great view on tall ships in the port basin. You really feel you are o the waterfront.

Great overnight stay for business at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious and the staff all very helpful. Due to the weather we stayed at the hotel for dinner and couldn't fault the restaurant. Would stay again if in the area.

A beautiful modern hotel on the waterfront with gorgeous views through huge glass windows. Friendly, accommodating, and English speaking staff; nice restaurant and bar. Incredibly comfortable room. Cons: Had difficulty finding it with the GPS for some reason, and the breakfast buffet was outrageously priced, whereas dinner and bar drinks quite reasonable - why the discrepancy? So, eat breakfast elsewhere - a small price to pay for a stay in such a nice hotel.

Short business stay. Hotel in a very nice location, make sure you get the waterfront view. Central Gdynia, close to train station - Cost about 2 eur to get an Uber to the hotel. Breakfast buffet wasn't the best, but the view and the fact that you can have it waterside made up for it.

Definitelly worth a stay

IT's a brand new hotel in the centre of the city. Standard is very good though the beds are pretty hard (I like them soft and plush:) Friendly staff

Its the first time I stayed in Gdynia after staying usually in Gdansk. The hotel was nicr then i thought it would be..

Bad Grand opening.

In the military and pulled in to Gdynia to stay for the week. Hotel was is in a great location in regards to the marina front and just a short walk to the resturaunts, bars and night clubs. We checked in on opening day and the line was just outside the door and the wait took 45 minutes to check in due to only three reception desk at hotel. After greeted by the polite staff and checking in I went up to my room which turned out to be a very clean and comfortable room. everything was brand new of course and never used. The mini bar was empty and the hotel could not stock nor serve alcohol at the hotel bar/resturaunt die to no liquor license. The worst part of the stay was when the hotel elevators broke and I was stuck inside for 35 minutes and again later I had to walk up 8 flights of stairs to my room in the top floor. My overall stay was not good due to all the inconveniences of the hotel bar, mini bar, and being stuck in an elevator the having to walk all the way up, however I'm sure this hotel will find a rhythm in time. Would recommend if you are the beach going type. little far from shopping in city center.
