It was a great stay

Great stay.

Restful and relaxing

The hotel was old it felt like we were back in the 90s, but my review is based on that there was no hot water in our room, thankfully was just an overnight stay. Also the room we were assigned to was right near an ice machine and the noise was disturbing when people were using the ice machine .

Solid go to for when I’m in town

The place is clean, close to the airport and lots of other things too so it meets my standards easily

Had a good check in experience - but getting a shuttle in the morning was less than stellar. Almost made us late for our flight. We were not told that the shuttle needed to be requested 2 hours in advance. We were told we could come down at any time as the shuttle ran often. Thank goodness we called to let them know we wouldn’t be able to make the 7am shuttle and had to wait till 9am because Nancy said that, that was policy. Our flight was at 10am. Linanet at night was very pleasant and made us feel like we made the right decision picking your hotel during check in but check out with Nancy was stressful. Breakfast was ok. No eggs, asked staff is there were eggs and not just sausage, was responded with “no, maybe tomorrow.”

I'll start with the location. I liked it. It's set way back from the road and quiet. The room itself was OK. To a point. But I walked in at quarter to 2 in the morning after 22 hours of travel with a reservation already made. The desk lady was on the phone giving some info about the fire alarm, serial number type of thing and the extinguishers too. Turns out it was with the owner of the hotel. She told him I was there and he made her go to 3 other spots on the ground floor and get the numbers from everything before he would let her check me in. 10 minutes, which is an eternity at that point. When a customer walks in you let your employees help them, not make it harder. But that eventually got done. Then I got to the mostly OK room. It wasn't horrible, not great. Seen worse. BUT the curtains over the AC unit where the air vents were covered in mold. I took pics but don't see a place to put them. I don't know how long it takes to get to that state, but it has to have been that way for a while. There's no way this was the only room like that. And the elevator was a little sketchy. I got on at the 3rd floor and none of the floor buttons would work, the door closed and the call button has a piece of paper taped over it reading "Do not push button". Fortunately the open door button worked and I took the stairs. Pushed the button back on the ground floor, it took 3 tries, and all the buttons worked when it got down.

Clean, comfortable and close to airport

I was place on first floor near an exit door. As a female traveling alone, I have always been told by hotels that they never put females traveling alone on the first floor. I requested to be moved from the first floor. Reception stated this was not possible given the room I had paid for. Hotel did not appear busy and I do not believe they didn’t have another room in this large hotel/motel Key did not work on first attempt and tv was also not working. Both were fixed quite promptly

The bathtub in the room was so rusted around the spill valve metal was flaking off and i considered it unsafe to use to give my 4 year old a bath lest he get a tetanis shot beforehand. Room had a slight odor of urine as if a dog had wet the carpet. It was not what i was expecting for the money spent.

Just fine Shower was hot and you could sleep in the bed. I was there for six hours so it wasn’t like I was gonna live there.

Great location but property needs some TLC which there was evidence that this may be happening. It served our purpose since we were mostly in and out and did not stay on property that much.

Unfulfilled Expectations

The hotel was clean, which is always good however, there were some issues. First of all the vending machine only took one dollar bills, which I had to exchange at the front desk in order to get. Once I got the money and inserted it into the vending machine I push the button for my desired drink, which was sold out. It did not say it was sold out when I pushed it prior to putting the money in so I had no way of knowing. So I had to get $3.50 back in quarters. That was fun. The biggest issue is that the hotel advertises a shuttle to the airport. The shuttle is sitting outside. When I asked the front desk when the next trip was going to head to the airport, I was informed that you must schedule transportation to the airport 24 hours in advance. Since I did not book the hotel 24 hours in advance of my arrival there was no way I was going to get a shuttle to the airport. This required me to pay extra for an Uber to the airport. If the shuttle is not consistently going to the airport, it shouldn’t be advertised as an amenity.

Perfect for what we needed after a late flight arrival. We tried contacting the proeety before arrival to arrange pickup by their shuttle bus, but never recieved a response, so had to pay to take an uber. Which was disapointing as we had booked this hotel specifically for the shuttle bus provision.

It was serviceable. The bed squeaked if you even breathed wrong. The toilet made a high pitched noise for 5 minutes after flushing it, and the people at the desk were not the friendliest. It was safe and relatively clean. Don’t think I’d stay here again though.

The outlets in the bathroom did not work. Microwave did not work. The shuttle driver that was supposed to take us to the airport at 4:30am did not show up. They did call us an uber, but expected 6 people to share it when clearly there was not enough room for everyone plus luggage. Goat rodeo.

Great property

This location is next to a Cracker Barrel restaurant and store, the food and prices were excellent. Free shuttle runs to the airport was a plus, just let them know when you need service

Got put on the ground floor. Wasn't crazy about that, but it was how it was. Definitely a motel type hotel. Lots of shades of brown in the decor, im assuming to hide any stains? Anyway, it was clean and I did have a great view of the parked cars in front of my room, so there was that...

Good location and breakfast.

We arrived and the room they gave us smelled. We asked for a different room and same problem. We indicated politely that we could not stay. When we requested a refund they said talk to Expedia. When we talked to Expedia they said talk to Comfort Inn. Terrible service by both parties.

Close to airport!

Shuttle wasn't ready when i booked it.

Excellent impromptu slchoice

Had a much later check in than anticipated but the staff was friendly and the room was invitingly clean- did have a little funky smell at first probably due to the ac being set high but once it started cooling it resolved. All in all, very glad to have stayed there.

Excellent stay

A non working elevator made it very difficult because we had to carry heavy suitcases up two flights of stairs. There is only on one elevator in the building.

Also appreciate the airport shuttle service.

Will never stay again.

I won’t be staying at a Comfort inn again. When we arrived, I called for a shuttle to pick us up from the airport which is a 9 minute drive. I was told it would be about 10-15 minutes. I called back after waiting 20 minutes with a no show. The phone line was busy and so my husband called after a few minutes. The hotel personnel had an attitude and said that she was very busy checking in people and said that the shuttle would be at the airport soon. The shuttle arrived 45 minutes after my initial call. The driver apologized and showed us his phone showing she had just called him. The next day my son purchased a lemonade from the vending machine and it was outdated, January 2025. We got our money back. We asked the front desk about getting a shuttle to the airport as we decided to rent a car. The lady shuttle driver brought us to the airport and when I asked her if she was told to drop us off at the Enterprise car rental she did not understand and stated she didn’t speak English. I understand that we were in Florida and that a lot of citizens speak Spanish but if you are shuttling people, your personnel should speak English.

Our room was clean, hotel conveniently located to restaurants and main routes, staff was friendly and efficient.

I was not made aware before my arrival the airport shuttle would not be available and upon check out I was told the shuttle driver was not in so I was left on my own to figure out a ride back to the airport

Clean and well maintained

Service people were very helpful and courteous. Room, hallways and common areas were clean and even when it looks a little old, it's well maintained. The price was just right. Located conveniently close to the JetBlue park with easy access to the Daniels corridor and close to the airport. The beach is 40 mins away. Renting a car will be the wisest. They also offer shuttle service to the airport. Breakfast was normal for these hotels, but always a plus: scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, waffles, plenty of fruits, yogurt, oatmeal, cereals, coffee, and juices. They have an inside pool that I could not use due to time constraints but looked nice, also the gym area. Definitely we'll be back

Nice, clean property that looks relatively new. Check-in was great but the clerk when checking out was not very good at communicating with us and seemed more interested in chatting with the other person working at the front desk who, in turn, told her "they're talking to you!"

Everyone was friendly that worked there.

Near the airport.

Front desk staff not very friendly. At times appeared to have more interest in their cell phones than customer service. “Breakfast Included” was very misleading. Minimal choices and not well stocked with condiments or coffee cups.

It was dated

Very nice rooms and overall the facility was very nice. We enjoyed the free breakfast and the morning shuttle service to pick up our rental car ... though the shuttle stopped at 10 pm so we had to uber over when we arrived which was a bummer. We were only there for a short time so we didn't really test out anything else (pool, fitness center, etc.)

The breakfast wasn’t that great. I didn’t realize the pool was indoors. We felt it should have been outside in Florida.

Due to an early morning flight we booked only one night at this Comfort Inn. In my estimation it is OK—but nothing special, just AVERAGE—and about $30 overpriced. Its one advantage is its proximity to the Fort Myers airport.

It was only overnight, but everything was fine and we will stay there again.

While the hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful, there are some issues that if addressed could make this hotel better. Our room was located on the first floor at the end of the hallway. The shower had to run for at least 5 minutes before the water was warm enough to take a shower. The curtain didn’t go all the way to the floor, so water went all over the floor, making it a possible fall hazard. We had issues with the TV remote but worked around it by fiddling with the batteries. Breakfast was okay but it is located in a very small room that fills up quickly and is very warm. There was not an adequate number of staff to manage the breakfast. On several days, the person working the front desk was also working in the breakfast area. Food would run out and people had to wait for it to be replaced. On the plus side, in addition to being clean, the beds were comfortable and the hotel is located in a quiet spot. It is convenient to some eating establishments (within walking distance) and the airport. With some attention to staffing and the property, this hotel could go from being okay to very good.

The overall smell in the corridors and room. It was very musty and had an overwhelming smell of marijuna.

We stayed one night but it was perfectly clean and adequate. And I’m pretty picky :)

Overall it was a good stay. The property was well kept and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

Clean & quiet

Excellent stay, close to the airport but not too close.

When I checked in the person at the counter was not very helpful or friendly. I had to ask about the shuttle and she told me it was not available until 4am U guess I was not aware of that when I booked. She was also talking to some other people socially and ignored me for several minutes before she helped me. In the morning when I came down for the shuttle, I was told there was no driver for the shuttle. However, they did call an UBer for me and another guest and we did not have to pay for it. The Uber was not on time and since I had a very early flight I was becoming anxious. I felt that the rate for the room was too expensive but I choose this one because of the shuttle service. Bed is so good

We called prior to booking our room a few months ago to make sure there would be shuttle transportation available after our late night flight, which we were told there would be. After we landed, we called the hotel for shuttle transport and were told it stops at 10pm. Very frustrating, especially since we have 3 small kids and called prior to booking to make sure we would have transportation when we landed!

Parking

This was a run down dirty hotel with uncomfortable old beds, stinky room and uninformed staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Upon arrival the desk clerk was sleeping and didn’t notice we were there for a minute or two. The room was stuffy and not fresh. Beds were uncomfortable and not great. Would not stay again.

Good hotel/Terrible Hotels.com customer service!

The hotel itself was fine. The problem was with Hotels. com and being able to get checked in. Took over 2 hours to get a credit card glitch cleared up. Hotels.com customer service was terrible.

Propery is fine. Area good. Typical room. Not fancy not a dump. Room clean and bed comfortable.

The fort myers comfort inn location was able to accomodate us last minute with a room. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Morning breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Mildew

Hotel has strong mildew smell. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but mildew smell was overwhelming. Booked shuttle trip to airport and shuttle driver was not at the shuttle at departure time and when she arrived, not even a hello. Manager and front desk staff were great.

Good property wish there were more eateries within walking distance. Wish they had a better area outside to enjoy the weather.

Airport shuttle took 3 calls to hotel before someone admitted that shuttle bus does not come around regularly, and you have to order it. Check in took about 15 minutes with only one attendant on duty and only 2 people ahead of me. Went for breakfast at 6:30 am (starts at 6), and eggs and some other items were already gone, and not restocked. Not much in neighborhood for dining.
