We didn't have any hot water the whole time on top of that.I got food poison.I was in the room, throwing up for 2 days. The beach was dirty.The room was dirty, everything was dirty.It was the worst place.I've ever been in my entire life.

Wouldn’t recommend staying here - even for the price! It originally drew us in due to the price point, however, the cleanliness of the rooms is awful, the food is terrible, and the drinks are average. The beach was also awful - terrible condition with no chairs on the beach. None of the staff knew what was going on. The service and a la carte restaurants were completely sub par. Overall, we will not be returning here and do not recommend!

Leaking air conditioner and celling in both room. Telephone not working. Room humidity extreme high due to air condition not working properly. Facility condition is in extreme bad condition and old, needs remodeling in the rooms. Every look old dirty and disgusting. This hotel is nothing like the pictures show online don't be fool like my family l. After so many complaints to the hotel staff and expedia nothing was done. Hotel promised to change the room and they never did. In the other hand Expedia never contact the hotel to reaolve the situation. At the end my family vacation was ruin by the hotel and expedia. Total waste of money and time.

I didn't like the fan kept running. And the air conditioner was noisy and the traffic outside. You could hear while you trying to sleep. The motel area was horrible. But the food was good. The maintenance department was problem, it never came to fix the fan. Everything else was good

The resort has its positives, there are a few areas that need attention. The resort activities were a lot of fun, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made our stay more pleasant.The food was delicious and offered a great variety. The condition of some facilities needs improvement. The bathtub in our room was peeling, and there was mold on the bathroom tiles. Similarly, some of the pools had noticeable spots where the paint was missing.Hygiene at the food stations could be better monitored. I noticed a child tasting shrimp and putting it back on the tray, which was unsettling. Overall, the resort has potential but would benefit from better maintenance and more attention to hygiene. With some improvements, it could be a fantastic place to stay.

The pool water and the jacuzzi was cold. The beach was dirty. The quality of the food was not good whatsoever, we even got food poisoning. The bathroom sink water had a weird smell. We were not well informed by staff on where everything was, we had to constantly ask. In the check-in the only thing the staff was focused on was the extra charges we would face if items in the room went missing, or if we lost the room keys.

The conditions of the room were terrible. The bed had blood and the furniture was very old and deteriorating. The door lock was in pretty bad conditions I was scared to even go to sleep. Management ended up changing us rooms but the conditions of the new room were the same. The food was terrible and very limited. Do not stay here.

Not sure where to begin, this was a disaster vacation. We had booked a junior suite. but upon arrival were given the standard room, with a leaky air-conditioning unit, which they were trying to fix for more than an hour. Also the lighting in the room was so poor. There was only one light in the room with the fan. There were cockroaches on the property and inside the rooms. There were centipedes. The customer service was really bad. Every day we went to the lobby, ended up meeting a lot of other people in the same situation as us, fighting and arguing with the management there. They overbooked and gave people's room to other people. Just very bad management. We were promised our room two nights in a row but were never given, they would say something at night and in the morning it would be some other story. Very bad restaurants too. Overall save yourself stress. Go to some other resort. They are not worth any penny.

I never paid for a locker at all the I’ve stayed The ceiling in the bathroom was dropped. The moldings in the bathroom were ripped too many flies in the restaurants and the buffet something needs to be done about that they treat the middle-class people unfairly. Meanwhile, the people that have different color, bracelets VIP gold they get there own transportation. And better service in the restaurants. Some staff members in the restaurants are great but some staff members they don’t wanna be there and they don’t know how to give a smile or a conversation with the public not all just some

The property overall is decent to stay if you come with the expectation of you get what you pay for. Reasonable hotel that needs improvement in the outdated rooms, although they were clean and the AC worked wonderfully. The food was my favorite part about the stay, it was better than I expected however the drinks need a work. Cheap liquor is used and not much of a variety in cocktails that the bar tenders are willing to make (they stick to the menu). The main lobby pool needs major improvement at first glance I got nervous to stay there but then when we ventured out to the other areas we were pleasantly surprised. Over all a good deal for a decent place and reasonable price.

Not updated as photos on line portray. Listed on Expedia as all inclusive but I had to pay $250 more at check in for the all inclusive benefits. Was definitely not worth the money for what you get. I will never stay here again and advise anyone else against doing so.

I visited these resort every year for almost ten years. The people that work in these resort are the best. They pay attention to detail and make you feel good. The only bad thing is the guests smoking everywhere there is not a smoking policies. And the roomsneeds improvement. Wh have prombles with the showers it only have hot water. And little water pressure. Other than that I enjoy my stay.

No Internet/Wi-fy available is blocked to the customers, it should be available 24/7, you must ask for salt, pepper, and Oli on the dining tables, it is like they like to save money for the owners. They do not give you towels for the pool you must dry yourself in front of the employee on the towel station, then give the towel back right there. In general, I will not be staying again in this hotel.

The absolute worse resort ive ever been to. To begin the rooms are not clean, and falling apart, the lobby staff was rude and unnatentive, the food was Meh at Best. The alcohol is cheap liquor even if you are a V.I.P. only like 1 or 2 sections of the whole resort really felt V.I.P. will never return or recommend.

The worst resort I have ever visited in my life. I do not recommend it to anyone. The rooms are disgusting, they have huge holes and they almost fall on you. They have to be careful if you have children. They want to charge you for absolutely everything, the least bit, but they do not offer the quality of service. The room service is also disgusting, as is the reception. The refrigerators are empty and when you call customer service they spend hours and do nothing. And that is a service that they already charged you in advance. Everything is far away and the air conditioning in the rooms is useless.

We were expecting our room to be ready upon arrival since we were a day late however we were told room wouldn’t be ready until 3pm which was a bit annoying after being delayed with travels and tired… Room was clean but definitely make sure to go through the checklist they give you as there was some glassware missing that we would have been charged for had we not noticed. They did come knock and call a few times for the tour but told them not interested and they left us alone after that. The AC definitely a was not working properly. The last day our room was at 76 degrees. As far as beaches the resort has several. We spent all of our time at NV beach. Joel aka Mr Fantastico is the best bartender and Brian aka Mr lover lover a was a great server! Joel was making us everything from Aperol spritz to espresso martinis! Best bar in the entire resort besides the one at the casino. Swim up bar at the pool was awful they only have a few types of liquor and don’t even blend the frozen drinks… I promise you the corner bar at NV beach with Joel and Brian is where you want to go! They also serve great food there! Dinner.. We had to make reservations and before 10am. Asian restaurant was awful. Dominican restaurant service was great food was ok. Mexican restaurant was good and Brazilian steakhouse was good! Buffet at Cofresi Palm was good. You can’t expect much for the price but I think what bothered us the most is how rude some people were… Most likely won’t go back..

For the most part, everything was good. I love all the different activities and pools. As well as all the restaurants. What I didn’t like was that Staff and services weren’t consistently good. Some staff did come off as rude. They also seem to treat you differently if you aren’t a big spender with a high end wrist band. For the price, worth every penny.

If u dont have vip ur limited to many things. Food was not good in the buffet. Enjoyed it one time. Usually ate at the vip bars. I will not return again

Cofresi property was beautiful within the complex but a few steps away was poverty and pollution. Air conditioning was broken 84 degrees in our room with AC unit on made it difficult to sleep. Television had very limited English channels and lines through the screen which made it difficult to watch. The staff were very helpful and friendly and attentive. American Airlines was horrible with our luggage all of our toiletries were ruined upon arrival m. America airlines handling of our luggage was terrible.

There were exposed electrical wires several places near the pools. There was trash and cigarette butts in the pool areas. The whole property seemed to be dirty the upkeep was not good… this is an inclusive hotel but doesn’t offer servers at the pools or at the beach area. I paid and asked for an early check in at 11am and it took 40 minutes for the front desk to check us in. And we were the first in line. It was an absolutely awful experience I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I just went for a week in July 15 -20 … THERE IS A LOT OF STAIRS no elevators. Although they have buses that can come get you from your rooms to the main areas there is still a lot of stairs so just prepare for that . People were nice , nothing like the reviews I read before going! The rooms were nice (40 building) the views . It’s quiet in the room areas . They have different entertainment in the common areas and the bar close at midnight . There is more than one beach. There are bars everywhere . They have 3 meal times and open snack time from 11p.m to 4 a.m although it’s already really quiet by 10 p.m . The pools are clean and very nice. They have an area for kids and a pool for them as well. My experience was a 8.5 /10 . Would definitely go back .

This was a big mistake to visit this resort. Will never go there again. Horrible & lazy staff, people had to wait for hours to be checked in and checked out,I am not joking, it took more than one hour to wait in the line up to be processed. My husband got sick overnight (of course dhiarria), when I tried to call the reception and the doctor after midnight nobody picked up, had to run to the lobby to beg for help. No medication was available on the premises at night. Horrible experience!!!!

We had reserved 2 room. We flew in on an overnight flight which landed in Santiago DR. At 1:30am. We went home to pick up my parents and then came to the resort. Upon arrival, we were told to wait until 3pm because only clients who come straight for the airport to the resort can be checked in early. After explaining and complaining of the ridiculous policy Mr. Leandro from guess service checked us in which allowed us to use the facilities and amenities. We were staying 3nights 4 days. On the first day the shower hose broke. We reported it to the receptionist and we were told it would be fixed. We only got 4 bottles of water in the room which allowed us to make tea and coffee one day one time only. We reported the issue of the shower again as well as the water bottle (refreshments) issues and we were told that water bottles would be sent to the room. It never got there. We were there 2 nights 3 days without proper showering facility. It’s crazy that i had changed and cancelled my Ibero Star resort reservation(which we had stayed several times and loved everything there) to come to this 1start resort. With the exception of Mr. Leandro staff attentions and details really sucks. Very poor. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESORT.

By far the worse vacation I have been on. My 5 yr old son was cut on his foot with a piece of glass in the kids pool on the 2nd day of our vacation requiring stitches.He was seen by a doctor on the facility. But he was unable to enjoy the rest of the vacay. He was in pain n developed a fever.Transportation was not rendered we were inconvenienced by having to carry around a 5 yr old, who was unable to walk throughout our stay in the resort along with a 5 mo.old I finally got a wheelchair, on the 3rd day, but no other means of transportation were provided to facilitate us throughout the resort ie a golf cart. Staff members were friendly but my peace of mind/time/money/trauma were affected due to the property’s negligence. I’m mortified and sad for my son and disappointed in the hotels reaction or lack of action to be precise. His medical bills were covered but the trauma and lost time isn’t recoverable nor was an attempt to mediate and show face. Enough was not done and I believe I don’t have to reach out for help when something like this happens. I believe they should own up to the issue and make it right for the client who is a paying customer. I know accidents happen, I’m a reasonable person, but also I’m a parent whose main responsibility is to protect my family and in doing so I must make parents aware of the situation. I requested several times to get a general manager involved and I was given the runaround. I left distraught and hurt. Praying for my sons speedy recovery.

I had a mixed experience during my visit. Firstly, the staff was friendly throughout my stay. They were always courteous and willing to assist with any inquiries or issues that arose. However, the hotel itself was not great. The building shows its age, they don’t have elevators in any of the buildings and no room service which became evident when I encountered plumbing issues with my toilet. I had to leave my room to use the bathroom at night. Additionally, the air conditioning was inconsistent, making the room uncomfortably humid at times. One of the more frustrating aspects was the key card system. My card frequently malfunctioned, and according to staff, this was due to faulty machines. It was inconvenient to have to repeatedly visit the front desk to get my key reactivated. Moreover, the hotel advertised a club on their website, but upon arrival, I was informed that it had been closed since COVID-19. This information was not updated on their site, leading to disappointment as I had anticipated that amenity. Another drawback was the lack of nightlife options for adults. After 9pm, there was essentially nothing to do besides loitering in the lobby. This was disappointing as I had hoped for some evening entertainment or social activities.
