Love it
Very comfortable and accommodating. Staff so helpful. Loved the Vibe on the 2nd floor....The Jeopardy night was a blast!....we reluctantly went, so it was a surprise.Loved how close you were to the big mall and great shopping. I bought a cute beanie for my daughter...love the design.
Great location
Very convenient
Great
Love Clayton - Time for some refreshing though
Love the Clayton! It is time for them to get new mattresses though. Could feel the springs which made for an uncomfy nights sleep and I’m not a big person so would be way worse for them. The edges of the mattresses completely cave in. The shower is great - awesome pressure. Starting to see some wear and tear in the rooms - chipped paint, sink not draining. As always, the service was excellent by both front desk and valet!
Great hotel
Stay at Denver
Staff at checkin was not friendly; room is too small and there is no desk to work; they charge 20% gratuity and sales tax on top of that - have never seen that before. Would not go back.
lovely hotel and area ...quiet at Xmas time
Amazing and friendly customer service on all fronts. And the location of course is one of the best in the city… walking distance to many fun shops and restaurants and easy access to everything else
Nice place and service
Room was less than adequate. Not all personnel items were in room. Old dirty looking black small refrigerator stuck in room. Disappointed in my stay as compared to my stay 2 months ago. I have concerns that I definitely may not stay in the hotel when I must come back up to Denver for my medical appointments at the National Jewish Health Center.
Great location and staff always friendly
Always a great place to stay. Location for our needs was perfect.
Love the Clayton. Will return!
I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities you could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a restful night's sleep after a busy day. The location is perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore the area. The hotel’s breakfast was also a highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the excellent customer service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning on my next trip
Perfection
Great hotel and amenities!
The 2nd Floor membership club was unique
Room was large and comfortable. No overhead lighting made the room feel dark
Good location, great community spaces to work, great deck
Nice hotel
Very nice hotel. Extremely quiet! Good amenities. Would stay again.
Beautiful property…great design!
Great stay in Cherry Creek!
Ok Service so so
Lovely one day stay!
Bed was a slab of concrete and the pillows where the tallest pillows I’ve ever seen. Your neck is cranked to a 45 degree angle. Didn’t sleep at all. Otherwise it’s a cute hotel.
There was a broken toilet paper holder in the bathroom and they assured us that it would be fixed and it was not. The pictures of the hotel are much nicer than the actual hotel.
Wonderful
Absolutely wonderful. Professional, polished and polite. They went the extra yard in any way.
Nice surprise!
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. The A/C worked well and the staff were super friendly. The bathroom lighting was a little dim but other than that a very nice room in a great location.
Very overated hotel. I will be writing a letter to corporate. The men that work there were very rude to us especially in the roof restaurant. Bed very uncomfortable and the fact that you can hear all on roof in suite is mind blowing
Great location and nice staff. Our room was very dark. There was no lights near the closet, at the desk, and dim in Bathroom.
Highly recommend!
Lovely and comfortable hotel!
Fabulous.
Cherry Creek Stay was Good!
Food and service at the hotel was very nice. I thought we would have a lovely pool experience but it was very tiny and crowded. Hotel amenities and location was excellent to walk around in Cherry Creek.
Great
Awesome
👍
Front desk was very helpful and friendly. It was our first time at the hotel. We will be returning.
Our first time here and we will be back! Staff was SO friendly and helpful!
Best spot!
Perfect spot in Cherry Creek! Love this hotel and all it offers. Clean, comfortable and fabulous.
The staff was so helpful with all of our needs.
Love the vibe
We love this hotel, mostly for the diversity of its staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful and we felt very comfortable. Having access to the member's rooftop bar and breakfast area are also a plus. We stay here whatever chance we get.
Great Hotel
Great option, great atmosphere, deco and great service. I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely come back.
The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The rooftop area and 2nd floor restaurant were very nice. This hotel was very relaxing. The room was comfortable with nice bedding and towels. I would definitely stay there again when I’m in Denver. A shout out to Lilith (at the front desk) who assisted us with places to eat and was accommodating to our needs.
Wonderful stay! Great room, great club, good area with a very friendly staff.
The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I was very impressed by the manner in which I was greeted with a “hello” or a “good morning” from every staff member. I’d also like to give a special shout out to Frankie who gave great, relaxed service along with good conversation. Looking forward to staying here again!
Every thing staff wonderful
Would return!
Great location, beautiful hotel, great food, and comfortable bed. Many thanks to Charlie at the front desk who got me into a room even though my hotels.com booking was not forwarded to the hotel - something certainly beyond the hotel’s control. I would definitely return.
Third time staying at the Clayton and it’s fantastic! Great spot in the heart of Cherry Creek.
Almost perfect stay. My room (305) had a view of a wall. A higher floor room with some light would have been preferred but the hotel was booked solid.
Nice room and property
The Clayton is a unique and beautiful space to getaway. It’s also a members club so people are there to work as well. Each area is well appointed. The rooms are spacious, tasteful and comfortable. Since it was rather cool we did not explore the pool. But the gym on the ground floor has everything you could need! An added perk is a token for a coffee, pastry and alcoholic beverage. There’s plenty to see and do very close by. It’s a little on the pricey side but totally a treat as we celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a mom/daughter fall break!
The only place I’m ever staying in Denver again. Enjoyed everything about it!
Private Club?
have stayed at sister hotel, next block over a few years back. While nicely designed and outfitted the rooms are dark, even on sunny days like we just had during our visit. Lighting is good but natural light limited.
We have never stayed in a "Member Club" hotel and enjoyed being an honorary member during our stay, using the rooftop dining, coffee & pastries, and fitness room. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that parking was either a couple of blocks away or valet each day.
Love the hotel and location and the bars Didn’t like the bedroom set up with a sink in the entrance and no privacy from bedroom to bathroom Friendly staff
Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff
Great hotel and incredible staff. This is my second time staying and always impressed with the hotel.
Ty
This hotel is nestled in the sophisticated neighborhood of cherry creek. The property is stunning. Each floor is artfully curated. The staff is personal and professional at every interaction. The rooms were spacious and incredibly quiet. We didn’t need to Uber anywhere as every type of high scale cuisine was within walking distance. This is our new go to hotel when in Denver.
We absolutely adored staying at this hotel. Everyone was fantastic
Great members' club hotel. Nice breakfast options, lounge is a great place to hang out. Upstairs pool is quite small as is the bar area off the pool. Basic rooms are also strangely configured, you walk in the door into your bathroom! Beds are good, hotel is in great condition. We'll likely stay there every time we visit Denver.
Very small king room. No chairs, no desk. Entered through the bathroom and no bath door.
Pool area is too small and difficult to get lounge chairs.
Lots of room to improve
The hotel was great, service was fine the issue was with cleanliness. We had a half used water bottle and dried urine and other substances on the toilet seat.
I booked one category of room and received a confirmation from the hotel that I would have the room that I booked, a Studio King. I received a second confirmation email stating that I had a different room, a Junior Suite booked. To avoid confusion, I called the hotel directly the day before arrival and was told that I had a “silver suite”. When we arrived for check in, we were told that we had a Studio King. This was not the room described and any of the emails or on the phone. The room was small and extremely dark. There was a tiny corner in an alcove of the room and no lighting anywhere near the closet. We had to request towels. There was a single robe in the room for the two of us.The shower was narrow and difficult to control. We asked about changing to a different room and were told that we could swap the following day but that the room would be smaller. What was worse was the lack of concern of the entire staff. When we arrived, there were 4 workers standing outside of the hotel in uniforms. Nobody welcomed us or asked if we needed help with our bags. This is the 5th hotel that I have stayed in within a 4 block radius. I will never book the Clayton again.
CLAYTON REVIEW
My stay was from June 13-15, 2023. Check-in was seamless, quick and easy. The amenities were scarce in that none of the essentials were replenished daily. My robe was not returned after the first night and receiving additional linens had to be requested. The gratuity "chips" provided were greeted by the staff on level 2 as a "bother" and were grudgingly delivered.
Great location, hotel has excellent common areas on second floor, small rooms, frayed towels, ok staff, poor value for cost, no explanation for $35 per day destination fee
Cute boutique hotel - VERY loud
Very cute boutique hotel in a great part of town (Cherry Creek). Lots of restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. The hotel is in excellent condition, with two restaurants attached and a members-only club that you can also dine at. The beds were extremely comfortable in well-designed rooms (for the most part). The bathroom is a little strange; you basically open your room door and are hit with your sink on the right-hand wall. I asked for a quiet room at check-in. Instead, they put me at the front of the hotel. I was up until almost 1 AM on a Thursday due to the noise of people leaving bars and restaurants and music playing. I was then woken up by the trash collection before 7 AM. When I told this to the gentleman at checkout, he stared blankly at me and asked what I wanted him to do. The staff is very inexperienced and not trained to handle a luxury environment. Be very specific about noise levels at check in if you are sensitive to sound.
I thought this hotel was pretty overpriced - our king bed room was really small and by the time the resort fee (& its assorted taxes) was added on it worked out to be quite pricey. (We were busy while we were there so could not use the members’ facilities). On a positive side - beds were ultra comfortable and valet staff very personable and helpful.
Everything was wonderful and so comfortable and friendly. Many sitting areas with great food and drinking options. The only issue was the pricey valet parking but they mentioned an inexpensive nearby garage that worked out great! Would definitely go back.
It’s a darling hotel & the front desk staff was wonderful. We were in a 5th floor corner room & it was just super loud above us. The restaurant or club or something is on 6, and it sounded like people were moving furniture all day & night, until about 10:30pm. Our room was cute, but the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall & the lightbulb on the full length mirror in the bedroom was burned out. For what we paid a night I would just expect little things like that to be fixed & not have it be so loud all day/night upstairs.
Lovely quick stay for a business trip
Really wonderful hotel in Cherry Creek - great front desk service, nice rooms and fun amenities (gym, 2nd floor workspace/restaurant, rooftop bar, free coffee/pastry/drink tokens.) Would stay here again
Beautiful hotel with an amazing vibe. Rooms are small but manageable. I travel a lot and the bed was on the lower side of comfort.

Very friendly and competent staff. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. Everything worked! The in-hotel restaurants are good. Valet parking was not as big of a pain as I expected. The cabinet door covering the fridge felt like it would snap off every time I opened the fridge. The shower door was sticky and noisy when I opened and closed it. It felt like it would break off. There was a lot of alcohol in the room when I arrived. I wish I had been warned so I could have it removed prior to arrival. MOST IMPORTANT: THE ROOMS ARE NOT SOUNDPROOFED despite what the Orbitz description states. My room was over an alley and the garbage truck noise was incredible. I was also awakened by slamming doors and conversations in the hallway. I picked this hotel specifically because they said their rooms are soundproofed so I was pretty upset. It is just a typical hotel noise-wise.
